Hate was taken aback a bit by Hikari's question. Why exactly was she so optimistic about everyone? She stopped, looking down at the floor. "I guess... Because... Well I've seen what everyone here can do. It's all so amazing to me. And I know you guys sometimes get annoyed or feel hopeless that you're stuck here. But for me... This is my first real home. It feels wonderful to have a family for once in my life. Because that's what we are now. A family." If anyone had been looking closely they would've seen tears glimmering in her eyes for just a second before she blinked them away. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... We're all so largely different from the people in the outside world. But in here we're all kinda different in a same way. A way that makes us understand each other. I for one don't want to have to go back to the animosity that people give me bcause I'm different. That's why I'm willing to do anything to keep this from falling apart. I'll even be the annoying lectury mom of the family." She laughed, looking up at them all again. "Even if I don't know you guys very well yet, you've all sort of grown on me already."

"It is nice not to have to hide my abilities." Roxy admitted. She hadn't thought about it in the terms Hart describe. They were kind of like a family. A dysfunctional one, but most families were dysfunctional in someone anyway. Roxy looked the group over. She didn't feel close to them, but she thought she might be willing to consider it. They all had their stories. Some were good and the rest were bad. Together they could make a better world. If not for themselves, than for others. "I've never considered myself a hero, but it might be nice to make the world a better place for other people."

Maybe... maybe it wouldn't hurt to try and get along with everyone. At least for Hart's sake. Hikari couldn't rip apart someone's family like that, it was just too cruel. "I suppose... I could try," Hikari said at last. "I could try to be on a team. I make no promises that it'll work, but I'll at least try." she looked at the door to the simulation room. When was it going to open? If they were going to do this dumb trust and team building exercise, then they might as well do it now, while some of them were willing to actually try. This opportunity might not last, but for now it was strong. Hopefully, Krait wouldn't be too angry at Hikari's insult fro earlier.

Jacque began to fidget uncomfortably again in his spot. One the one hand he was tempted to pat Hart on her head and commend her efforts for trying so hard to make sure everyone got along like a family, on the other hand though, the word 'family' tended to dredge up some less than favorable memories that sent shudders down his spine. Jacque looked at the door, then to the others, "I could open it if you guys want. I'm sure it isn't that hard." he said softly, somewhat eager to start the exercise before the mood got any more awkward for him than it already was.

Krait, still right next to the door, was impressed by the little speech from Sparkplug... she may have not agreed on most of it, but impressed how she had managed to pull it off nonetheless. Others could be looking for acceptance and all that, but Krait was investment. She had been results of a few year project and has been on enough lectures to know better than to go blind on trust, especially along with bunch of criminals already giving their threats on desertion.

"Be my guest." Krait said, lifting her hand to hint at the training room. "I'm not on charge so I might as well not take responsibility." she continued in rather cynical tone, looking at Leather and hoping he would just go for it so they could get through this. Besides, Krait would probably try herself if Leather didn't do it and she didn't want to spoil the surprise.

Jacque nodded as Krait told him to go for it and walked over to the door, "Lets see now..." he said as he began to run his hands along its surface for a moment to see if there was a button or handle that may have been missed. Finding no such way to access the simulator room, Jacque dug his fingers into a crease at the side of the sliding door and braced his other hand against the wall, then began to pull the door open. Jacque's muscles rippled beneath his skin as inch by inch the door started to give way despite the locks that held it in place, "Almost there...and...got it." he grunted as he finished forcing the door open. The gator man stepped back with a satisfied look, "And look, I didn't even need to transform or break anything this time.".

Hikari opened her mouth to say a snide comment, but looked at Sparkplug and shut her mouth. "Thanks Gator Boy," she said, pushing past him and into the simulator room. It was going to be difficult to try and build a relationship with those guys. Namely because she wasn't all that interested in one. She could try, but sooner or later it would all just fall apart.

Roxy had to admit that she was impressed with Gator boys strength. Now that they were inside what were they going to do? How could they would together when they hardly knew each other and weren't sure that they liked each other?

Once inside, Hikari had a full view of the luminescent blue swamp lake that spread out so far that couldn't see the edge. What she did see was rope tied to the top of a tree which hung over the blue bog, an island opposite her, and someone in the other side.
"Help! I'm stuck!" said a voice on the other side.
Hikari didn't hesitate to start moving towards the bog. The second before she put her foot in, however, she pulled back, as a giant eye surfaced for a brief second before becoming submerged again.
"Don't cross that way, that creature has powerful toxins that will put anyone to sleep!"
Right. Now they all had to somehow cross without touching the bog. The rope would help, but they'd need to work together to even grab the darned thing. Needless to say, Hikari wasn't amused.
"Oh, you won't die if you fall in, but I can promise that you'll be hauling unconscious members across the bog if you want to complete the simulation." Oracle chimed over the speakers.

Krait walked in as well, seeing the situation. "A holographic simulation room... nice." she said with smile growing under her mask, as she had been expecting some low class gym hall for them to jump rope or something. Speaking of rope, that was the only equipment they had, though Krait already knew what to say. "Well Runner, didn't you have ability to loose your weight enough to just leap there?" Krait asked as in more of a challenge rather than a question. It was far and it was difficult for sure. Not entirely impossible but unnecessary risk if Krait herself would attempt it.

John walked in as Oracle finished talking. Nice. A half veiled threat it sounded like. "So we need to get everyone across without touching the bog? Easy enough," John stated. He figured that everyone needed to swing across on the rope to get to the island where they could figure out how to save that person. But that seemed a bit too easy. It could easily be a trap. "It seems a bit...to easy," John said, half to himself. Oracle knew their powers. He could easily use his to grab the rope or even float the others across. But this was a teamwork exercise so why would they only want them to use one person's powers. No there had to be something else. Something that required more than just one of them.

As Jacque entered the simulator room, he eyed the bog with a mixture of nostalgia and displeasure, "Sadly most bogs are filled with toxins of a different kind. The things man destroys in his path to global conquest..." he quipped to himself before stepping a bit to the side, "If anyone's up for it, I could maybe transform and walk across, my scales might be able to offer resistance to the toxin. That or I could toss a volunteer across. One moment.". Jacque took a deep breath and once again transformed, going from man to monster in the span of twelve seconds before punctuating the end of his transformation with a guttural snarl. Jacque turned to the others and held out one clawed hand, curling all but his index finger inward as he pointed to the group, "End Choice is up to you all. If no choose my plan, I follow what plan sound smartest." he grumbled as he looked down on his now much smaller comrades.

Roxy's eyebrows rose at Jacque idea of a plan. Se certainly wouldn't be volunteering to be thrown across the room with her luck she would hit the wall. Looking around Roxy couldn't come up with a better plan.

"You could try to reach the rope instead. We're less likely to go flying into a wall that way." Hikari said, trying to tweak Gator Boy's plan from 'chuck them all across' to 'maybe try to work together somewhat and appease the madwoman on the speaker?"

Hart walked into the simulation room. A bog...? Okay... not really a big deal. But how to get everyone there was the question. She pursed her lips. This would be.... interesting.

"Yeah, much of a plan that is... I doubt this room is actually THAT big." Krait commented at Leather hide, in bit of a poking tone. "But 'well done anyway'... now. Tossing the rope on the other hand..." Krait said, thinking. "I mean, if that man just ties the rope around himself and we just pull him back, It's not like he doesn't mind going to sleep for a moment to get himself out of there, right?" she asked. "Little to no pain involved, just needing some strength to back it up. Luckily we have the walking muscle machine with us hm?" she continued.

"I don't know. There was something in the bog. I almost stepped on its eye. Dragging that guy across may not be the way to go." Hikari said, scanning the tree. Maybe if someone climbed up and grabbed the rope, brought it back and was pushed by Leatherhide? It was possible to grab the man, but if they missed then they'd have to keep trying again and again.

"All these plans have a flaw." Roxy stated as she watched the others throw ideazaround. "They only require one or twoof us. The idea is for all of us to work together. I'm betting there is something that requires each of our skillsgere."

"I could float all of you guys across and then swing over on the rope," John suggested, biting his lip. He figured that his plan might be the easiest way to go but he was a bit worried. He could easily lift everyone but after moving 4 of them across, Jaque might be a lot harder. Maybe he could move Jaque first. He'd figure it out when it got to that.
