@Dragoknighte - Outside the window, after one pair of cops drive off two more sets show up from different directions. One coming in from the south, the other coming in from the north. Several get out of the cars and look at each other as if to ask - what the fuck are you doing here? You can't really tell what they are saying but between the pointing and eventual moving it is clear to where they are headed. They are both headed into Mali's building but as you hear the stomping of feet up passed her front door you can easily tell that there aren't as many feet heading up to the next floor above you as entered the building. You hear a few knocks on the door to the apartment above you hear one of them yell. "Police! Open the door!" There is no response, then you hear the shattering of a door being kicked in and sets of feet pounding on the ceiling above you as they move into the apartment.
@Scallop - Felix gets there about the time that Detective Johnson is driving off of the scene. Amy Adams from Channel Six news has just cut feed and is giving out a large huff, she wanted to interview the detective to find out more. "We should get back to the station," the camera man tells her but she shoots the man an eat shit and die look. She still looks pretty roughed up from the handling she had gotten the night before. "Forget that, this is a story," she tells him. "This is a Romeo And Juliet Suicide gone wrong. Come on Amy, I'm fucking hungry! Let's at least grab a bite to eat before you start breaking and entering."
Detective Roy Gregory
Location: Justice Memorial; Front Entrance
Gregory took his phone back and chuckled a bit. He wasn't going to rag the girl about forgetting to tell someone that it was her sending the text and not him. With everything that was going on he was surprised that she remembered that his phone was even clear to use at this point. Finishing up a few more interviews he looked back over to her and nodded.
"Yeah, grab yourself a burner phone before you do," he said as he pulled out his card and handed it over to her. He didn't know if she had his number written down somewhere or not, it was better to be safe than sorry. "Just send me what you want me to pick up and I'll grab it. My address is scribbled on the back of the card. If you need a ride later on, just call me. I'll come get you. Probably better not to be alone tonight anyways with everything going on," he added as he grabbed his jacket and slipped it back on over his shoulders. Adjusting his gun holster he looked back over to her and patted her on the back lightly.
"Yeah, I can walk you down. I'll finish up here and then head over to Forensics." Keeping the clasp over his side arm undone he stepped out and walked down the hall with Cecily, keeping an eye out. He didn't think anyone would try anything in broad daylight in the middle of the hospital but with the way the day had gone he wasn't counting anything out.
Once they were downstairs he escorted her out the front door and over to a bench by the side walk where they could keep an eye out for her ride. Pulling out a pack of cigarettes he lit one up and took a long puff from it, rubbing his chin lightly before sitting down next to Cecily and sighing as the smoke billowed up around him. "Cecily, be careful. Trust no one."
Ronni
Location: Rollar Derby Rink
"Well I am at your service," Ronnie chuckled as he stood up and took a grand bow before flopping back down next to her.
The main event wasn't set to start for another hour so they had time but some members of each team were starting to arrive and taking their spots on their respective sides of the rink. The girls from Dragon that had shown up wouldn't really catch anyone's eye other than for the fact they all looked to be from Asia or at least of Asian decent. Some looked far to dainty to even be on a team for this type of sport, like they would break if you looked at them to hard. Others looked like they might had wanted to retire about fifty years ago. None of their uniforms matched other than for the fact that they were all painted black, red, and gold in some manner and had a dragon on them somewhere. Other than that it looked like they were left to make their uniforms look however the hell they wanted.
Now, as far as the Juno crew went, only three had shown up so far and their uniforms were just that, uniforms. Each one exactly the same. Black backgrounds on their shirts that in the front it simple said - Juno - over where the left breast pocket would have been if it was a button down shirt. On the back was an owl looking like bird drinking the blood of a victim with its golden beak. It's red wings cutting up as if it was about to take flight and its four black claws tearing into the flesh of the victim.
"It's a Strix," Ronnie said pointing to the back of one of the women's jersey. The rest of the uniform matched color wide to the tight fitted spandex pants. Each of their pads and their helmet was gold, the helmet more angular than the other teams. On the back of each Helmet was the name of the player. The three that were there were: Nova Cibum, who might look familiar to Cecily, she worked at Juno's Greek. Her name was Sarah wasn't it? Then there was Cantus, who would definitely look familiar. She was the DJ Ally Cranks from the party the night before.
The last woman who had a C on her jersey to denote she was the captain had Venus on her helmet. She looked very out of place and yet might look so familiar. A lot of stories were swirling around her as of late. It was Admiral Of The Navy Leanna McCormick; the recently appointed Secretary of the Defense for the country... Ronnie leaned up a little bit. "Well those two are new," he said pointing over to Nova Cibum and Cantus. "Haven't seen them before."
Risa Couri
Location:Justice Memorial Recovery Ward
Risa smiled towards Lucas as she squeezed his hand.
"That's good, maybe you can take Monday off. You know, I mean you didn't get blown up but your fiance did. Think they might let the professor skip class," she said in a groggy voice. It was obvious that the drugs were keeping her fuzzy in the brain. Risa was usually very quick to pick up on anything that was off, especially with Lucas but the morphine was doing its job it seemed. It was easing her pain, which was good, but on the flip side a monkey could have walked into the room and she wouldn't have thought it was off.
Yawning slightly she relaxed a bit in her bed, pulling the covers up over her a bit more. The place was cold and even though Risa loved the cold this was bone chill for her considering the blood loss.
"Lucas, could you see if the nurse can get me an extra blanket?" she asked him quietly as she started to doze off. She wouldn't really fall asleep but she would hover between being awake and being in dream land, that half way point that many came to when they were trying not to wake up.
Out in the hallway it was pretty empty. Visiting hours were drawing to a close in the hospital and many were heading out for the day, bidding their loved ones goodbye until the next day. At the nurses station it was shift change, the women there exchanging notes on what had happened that day and what was supposed to happen over night. One of them, who appeared to be the head nurse giving most of the directions and orders. Talking about making sure meds were given out at certain times, when those that could eat would be served dinner, which diets needed to be liquid and who would just have to deal with IV's for the time being.
"I love you Lucas," Risa whispered in a dreamy fashion, her hand slowly slipping from his as she lay there and she tucked her hand under her head to try to get more comfortable. Her engagement ring shinning in the low light of the room, a few splinters of light showing in from behind the curtain of the window, deep oranges were showing that it was getting later in the day.

"Mother of a goat," the country boy said as he spat out blood and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. Taking a deep breath he scooped up the files that he had been given by Lana before stumbling out of an old and run down building. He was decently torn up with a large trail of blood sticking to the side of his face. Shaking off the dizzy feeling he wandered over to his truck. The door squeaking a little as it opened and he climbed in.
Pulling out his sidearm he checked the clip, there were only three bullets left plus one in the chamber. He had started off the day with a full clip. On the dash board of his truck his phone buzzed. Picking it up with his bruised hands he flipped it over and looked down at it as he unlocked the screen.

Grunting he closed the door of his truck and started it up before replying.

Hitting send he turned and rolled down his window, spitting out another mouthful of blood before driving off. He needed to get cleaned up and quick. He was supposed to be meeting someone soon. He didn't need to show up like this.
