Hmm...I don't remember any rule about you needing approval for two magics. Custom magic though, you need approval for. That said, I don't think most mages would really focus on more than one magic, but I'd need to hear the idea first.

So what's your idea, exactly?

Personality:: While Mary is a generally friendly and understanding person, she can also be dominating. She prefers to be in charge, or at least the dominant force, in any situation. Other than that, she is rather agreeable and kind company. Though Mary can sometimes be overly assertive, she is hardly stubborn and will often listen to what people have to say, even if they are foes. This doesn't guarantee her opinions will change, but she is open to new ideas (as long as they don't include her not being the most powerful in the room). Though she isn't generally bubbly, on sunny days she is much more energetic than on cloudy or rainy days. As one could guess from her magic, she has a fondness for plants and nature to the point where she takes care not to damage wildlife. Not even grass. Though not a particularly quirky individual, Mary does have one quirk about her: she refuses to wear shoes, even during formal occasions that generally require it. By looking at her, many assume that she is of the "nature-loving, peace-loving" stereotype, though that is actually false. She loves nature, and she loves peaceful times. But she equally loves combat and using her magic. They provide her with an exhilaration that tending to plants cannot achieve, so she will not hesitate to duke out her problems with others, even if it is over something relatively minor. She keeps and tends a lush garden in the backyard of the Guild Hall, proving her dedication to the beauty of plants.

History:: Marigold Boyce was born to a simple family in the town of Luna Crescente. The only daughter to two loving parents who owned a flower shop and had a hobby of gardening. From a very young age, Mary attached to that hobby and enjoyed flowers and plants like her parents did. Sadly, she remembers little of her parents. At the age of four, her mother contracted a severe disease. In order to afford the medicine to keep her alive, her father was forced to sell the flower shop. Though that wasn't enough as the bills got higher and higher. He was pushed hard in order to keep his wife alive. Pushed to the point of betraying his morals.

Jean Boyce was killed when he, along with several career criminals, boarded an armed ship to hijack the gold it contained. With only a dying mother left in her family and nobody left to take care of the family, Mary drew in as much courage as possible in an attempt to keep her mother alive. She went to the local guild, Harpy's Wing, and attempted to get a job to pay for her mother's medicine. The mages there first didn't take her seriously, as she was still essentially a toddler. But when she broke down crying, it was clear that her intentions were deeper than simply pretending to be a wizard. Rather than let her take a job, they simply pooled some money in order to afford the medicine. Joyous as Mary was, she returned home later that day to find her mother had finally passed away. The newly purchased medicine could not revive the dead.

Mary was initially taken in by an orphanage and held for adoption. While at the orphanage, she was the only girl within her age group as the other children were either infants or older children. Her only consolation was that she was allowed to tend a garden, something she was surprisingly adept at for her age. In that same manner, after spending nine months at the orphanage, she discovered her magic. At first it confused her, then it amazed her. Ultimately she stopped playing with her new powers and started practicing with them, honing her skills over the years. The orphanage was amazed by her magic and supported her wholeheartedly. Eventually people came in to adopt Mary but she refused to leave. The orphanage became her home. But the biggest reason she grew up at the orphanage was because she had started a personal garden there.

While most would criticize the lack of flowers in her garden, as it was mostly exotic plants, Mary kept a habit of reminding the critics that "not all beauty is in the surface." The garden was her home away from home, so to speak. And over the years it grew, and so did she. Her magic evolved. Her plants became less for show and more useful. They became larger, stronger, more vibrant and radiant in color. Her confidence grew and her skill only increased. At seventeen years old, Mary finally left the orphanage. She was too old to stay and accordingly she decided to go directly to a guild. The decision between Harpy's Wing and Golem's Hand was not taken lightly but ultimately Mary decided that Golem's Hand was better suited for her. While she took missions and demonstrated her skill and strength, Mary visits her old orphanage daily to tend to her garden and visit her old caretakers. Even dedicating an hour out of her day to this hasn't slowed her down, as her power eventually granted her the title of S-class among the Golem's Hand mages.

Plant Magic

Magic Name:: Plant Magic
Description:: Something like this.
Known Spells::

Vines - Incredibly tough and rapidly growing vines are created. Capable of being covered in thorns or coated in various spores or toxins.
Spore Bomb - Powerful explosive spores are released from created plants and hurled at the target with remarkable speed.

Flytrap: A large, magic-resistant flytrap is created either underneath a target or nearby the caster. If created underneath a target, it immediately captures them in its giant maw. If anyone ends up inside one of these Flytraps, their magic is constantly drained and used to strengthen the Flytrap itself, making it highly resistant to magic. Unlike most flytraps, it will not digest the person inside it but rather contain them and render them unconscious via magic depletion after some time has passed. Size can vary, but Flytraps are typically large enough to hold one person at a time.

Rest Spores: The caster creates small plants from their hands or on the ground around the vicinity that release a thick mist of spores. These spores are a potent toxin that are capable of knocking humans out in a matter of seconds. They leave no lasting or harmful effects aside from putting people to sleep, though they do not smell particularly nice nor do they taste good in the least should some get in someone's mouth.

Restraint Spores: Similar to Rest Spores, only this variant uses a paralyzing toxin. Though somewhat painful, it also holds no lasting effects. After a few seconds of exposure, the target will lose the ability to control their nervous system and will collapse, finding themselves incapable of moving. After the spore cloud is gone, the paralysis will begin to wear off within a few minutes.

Blossom Fake: The user creates a copy of themselves to avoid attacks or distract foes. When touched, the copy bursts into harmless pink blossoms.

Petal Storm: A blizzard of sharp, green petals are summoned around the caster before being launched in a high-speed flurry toward a target. The sheer quantity of the attack combined with the speed make it difficult to avoid and accordingly painful to receive. The petals can be coated in any of the spores that the user is capable of producing. The flurry of petals can be directed to chase after a moving target, rather than being simply a single-direction attack.

Rose Bush: A large, thick knot of thorny rose bushes are formed. A defensive spell that is incredibly resilient to attacks and is capable of entirely surrounding the user for omnidirectional protection. Spores can be released in clouds from the large roses that form along the thorns. While this is resistant to magic, the Rose Bush spell still has an inherent weakness to fire.

Forbidden Fruit: A small tree is created that will immediately bear fruit. The fruit is somewhat large and pink in color. While it tastes sour, it is imbued with a large amount of magic, allowing those that eat the fruit to be healed of their wounds and energized. Of course, the user cannot regain magic like this but if the user eats their own fruit it will heal their injuries.

Greenhouse: One of Mary's more powerful spells. A large dome of thorn bushes is formed around the battlefield, even stretching underneath. This not only prevents escape, but anyone inside is now in Mary's absolute territory. The dome itself can be host to spore-emitting plants or vines, making every angle a possible threat. Though this is a rather large spell, the rapid-growth of the plants makes it rather quick to activate. Size can vary, but is generally from a 100m radius all the way to a 500m radius.

Magical Mobile Leaf: A utility spell. A large, green leaf is created that can float. Essentially serves as a magic carpet to allow quicker and easier travel. Size can vary from allowing only the user to be seated comfortably to allowing up to four people plus cargo to be seated comfortably.

Possessions:: Gardener's Chainsaw, Mary's personal weapon of choice. She only brings it out when she is mad. She magically summons it from within a Flytrap spell and it runs on magic power. In Mary's hands it can cut through solid steel.

On the surface, Koe comes off as a rather silly and lighthearted person, frequently engaging in comical behavior and retaining his oft-present grin even while making threats. He displays a childlike amusement for new situations whether or not they prove adverse or even potentially fatal, he has a penchant for wandering off on his own. Even with all these idiosyncrasies, Koe is extremely personable and has a particularly complimentary nature that easily gains him the friendship and trust of those surrounding him.

Of course, these aspects hide the complex and determined young man underneath. On the reverse side of his frivolous nature is his considerable shrewdness, which makes him quite capable of reading people and situations. He is particularly observant, taking into consideration even the smallest details of his surroundings in order to better understand and deal with challenges and is not above using cheap tricks or questionable tactics to ensure his own survival. Being singularly ambitious, Koe also has a remarkably tenacious will that allows him to overcome virtually insurmountable obstacles and accept inhuman burdens for the sake of his own ultimate goal. Koe has a considerable pride that will not stand for having his humanity insulted or condemned by his enemies, but Koe is also capable of shelving his pride if it becomes something that will stand in the way of his objective.

Koe is very protective of family and comrades, refusing to allow any harm to come to them and often deem their safety more important than his own in spite of his own personal ambitions and goals. Koe has to be reminded several times that his own safety is something upon which many people depend and he uses his loved ones as his primary motivation when all hope seems lost. As such, he becomes furious when observing those who willingly or remorselessly cast aside their own comrades or brethren and is sickened by the idea of superiors who reject their duty to those who trust them.

History::
Unlike many mages who's past was filled to the brim with tragedy and sadness, Koe's life was fairly easy going. Koe's life began when he woke up in the desert with no recollection of his past life. At the age of 5, Koe wandered around the desert for days on end, without food or water to sustain him, he barely survived the ordeal. Eventually, after a week, Koe was found by nomads, those who he thought were able to manipulate sand, Sand Mages. For most of his life, Koe was raised by the nomads, learning there ways, living a life of peace and tranquility.

At the young age of 16, which was the age of passing in the village, Koe was thought the ways of what he was sand magic, but was an intricate form of Sound Magic. Unfortunately, Koe was never able to truly to understand the intricacy of the magic. After a year of learning, Koe longed for freedom. It was an unusual feeling, it was a feeling of being couped up despite the fact that he was saved by them many years before, he longed for a change. The constant view of the desert was mind numbing for him. He longed for a change of pace, in the fragment of a past life he could see a rushing water, bustling cites.

Koe left the village, exploring on his own until he was once again taken in by a group, this time a merchant family who specialized in sound magic also, but used it to create music. Koe loved this music, this form of beautiful sound that's created from the emotions of its wielder. Koe learned this magic, and combined it with the sound magic of the nomads and created Soul Sound, a magic with intricate waves that was strengthened and controlled by his emotions.

Koe once again left his home among the musicians that were his caretakers, and left for Luna Crescente, a town spoken of among his contemporaries. Koe looked out a place were he could use this new found magic to the fullest. Koe eventually found himself in a new home, the Golem's Hand, a place that valued the individual, perfect for Koe. With Koe's unique magic in hand, and training fr guild members, Koe was more than capable of becoming an S-Rank Mage, and so he did.

Sound Magic
Soul Sound Magic goes much deeper than its parental counterpart. Soul Sound allows Koe to manipulate sound waves and vibrations based on his emotions. Becoming more erratic and destructive in anger, rage, or excitement, but precise and controlled when calm and happy. This is translated into the strength and effects of his spells. This magic draws on the emotional spectrum of its wielder, and is capable of immense, uncontrollable destruction.

Known Spells::

• Sonic Breaker
  Serenity/Excitement Mode: Koe transmits a very powerful sound waves from his fists into the target's body, sending them flying. In this mode, Koe can condense the sound waves, allowing for chain combos, and dealing more damage over time. Anger/Rage Mode: Koe in this mode can smash sound waves through his fists into the targets body with unrelenting force. He cannot hit multiple times with this ability, maybe landing 2 or 3 punches at a time. In Rage Mode, Koe and throw a much so hard, that it can break the sound barrier.
• Wavelength Sense
  A passive ability that is the same in all emotional modes. Koe sends out a beacon out with each step he takes, a mile in distance in the air and on the ground that gives him information about the environment around him and reveling sheathed enemies.
• Soul Projection
  Based on Koe's mood, this ability, when activated, emits a sound from his headphones that effects enemies in different ways. In Serenity Mode, Koe emits a low ring that can shatter glass and can incapacitate a enemy weaker than he is. The ringing noise his extremely annoying and can be emitted for long periods of time. All those around Koe can hear is the ringing. In Anger Mode, the headphones emit a pulse of sound, once that can shatter the ear drums of those closest to Koe. This can pulse us so strong that it can destroy the environment around him. The effects in Rage mode is unknown.
• Accelerator
  Passive ability were Koe has the ability to ride on the sound waves he creates, allowing him to fly, but he can manipulate this and jump in small controlled bursts. In rapid bursts it gives him the illusion of super speed, although he speed does increase exponentially. He has been able to avoid almost any attack thanks to this ability.
• Sound Barrier
  Koe creates a barrier of sound that can block projectiles, although depending on the power backing the projectile, the barrier can be broken. This ability can also block and reflect melee attacks, although the same principles apply.
• Sonic Bayonet
  Koe forms sound waves around his hand and uses their high frequency to pierce his opponents. This works like a sword that can block and parry like any other blade.
• Sonic Beam
  Koe emits a burst of controlled and condensed sounds that can blow away enemies and in most cases can break bones depending on the range it must travel.
• Sonic Bullet
  With a swing of his fists, Koe can throw small, condensed sound waves at his enemies. This is more devastating than Sonic Beam, and at is a projectile attack that cause massive damage the more that lands on the target. It is strong, and fast enough to rip through terrain.

Basically I would like to use plant magic as well as a holder based totemic transformation magic. It would basically be transformation magic but rather than just out right doing it I would have to have a totem, just a basic little carving, that been imbued with the spirit of the animal it represents. It's a tad bit savage, as imbuing the totem requires an animal sacrifice to it. I wanted to go for a primitive magic feel with my character and I felt that combination would do lovely. As well as it should be noted the transformation is not a complete one, more of a were-insert animal name here.

@LokiLeo789 The problem I have with Koe is that his magic would fly in Golem's Hand. He is reliant on the magic itself, however Golem's approaches magic as a tool/extension of traits they possess without it. Such as someone who uses Guns Magic is dangerous because of his natural skill as a marksman with or without the magical ammunition. And in case this is brought up as a point of contention; j8cob's char Marigold I wrestled with on this matter but ultimately came to the conclusion that her passionate and vast knowledge of all sorts of plants and exotic flora makes her more dangerous than just being able to summon generic plant life. Essentially, the magic is powering him rather than he powering the magic.

@Aegis1650 So, someone has beat you to plant magic. I'm not saying you have to pick a different magic. If you can differentiate it enough you could still go with it but that's all up to you.
