- He is scared of living forever, part of the reason he Hunts is hope that something will kill him while he tries to rid the world of evil, one monster at a time.
- Hank is scared of the dark, not because he doesn't know what is in it, but because he does.
Likes: - Guns, sharp objects, explosives, etc.

- Rap music. He can't stand it.
- Teenagers, specifically ones that think they can control everything and think that they are total bad asses. He doesn't mind proving them wrong. (Teenage vampires that listen to rap music are never safe)
- Crowds, he is paranoid and being in crowds makes it hard to keep track of things.

General Skills:- Writing and organization: Hank is a very organized person. He can think of any item he owns and have it pulled up in a minute or so from anywhere in his RV.
- Explosives: Being assigned as part of a bomb disposal unit in the Marines Hank knows how to handle, disarm, and in some cases make them. Though most of the ones he makes are not nearly as effective as factory or machine made, they can get the job done.
- Driving and heavy machinery: Hank has been handling heavy equipment since he was in high school working on many different construction jobs and working on maintenance. In the military Hank would also be the one handling the large trucks to transport his unit to their next assignment. Now he drives his RV which has been set up with an Engine a lot stronger then what is needed for it.
- Learning: Hank is a fast learner. This is part of the reason he reads so much. He picks up on information fast. The way he figured, he had the mindset to become rich through his ability to learn, so he took collage classes in business.
- Mathematician: Hank has excellent math skills. He is able to solve relatively complicated math inside of his head, and is able to do more complicated work with basic things such as a pencil and paper. A calculator helps with some of the more complicated things though,
- Some mechanical: Hank's main job while on construction sites was to keep the big machines working. He has been able to use this skill for many things over the years, including keeping his current base of operations in working order. His main weakness though, is computers.
Combat Skills: - Firearms: Hank has been combat trained in many ways, mostly with long guns such as hunting rifles and shotguns, and guns like assault rifles. He was a qualified Marksmen by the time he had left the Marine Corps. After then Hank has learned by self training how to handle, operate, and maintain handguns and revolvers. His main firearm training though is still with assault rifles.
- Hand to hand combat: Hank from a young age was a fighter, only getting better with each lose. While in the military he has learned to fight in proper combat compared to his makeshift fighting styles. He has been practicing with those skills close to every day for most of his life upon learning them.
- Improvised hand to hand combat: Hank is able to decide what can be used as a weapon relatively fast, and decide if it would be better then his hands or anything else he can reach. Preferably, he will use an axe or some other sharp object if he can get to it.
- Endurance: This isn't technically a combat skill, but is needed for sustained combat of any type. Hank is able to keep fighting for decent amounts of time assuming he doesn't take too hard of a hit that may cause his body to go into shock. Due to his endurance his ability to take hits has allowed him to hold out longer until that point of physical shock.
Day to Day Belongings:Whatever you carry with you and refuse to leave the house without!
- Hank will rarely leave with out his .357 revolver. Though it will rarely do much to help him out on his usual hunts, the stopping power is a good way to buy time if he was caught off guard. He will only leave this at his RV when he is convinced it will draw more attention then it is worth.
- His wallet where he keeps many kinds of cards, IDs, and a picture of his old family. Very few of the IDs are accurate to his person.
- His trench coat is one of the things that is almost apart of Hank. Though there is rarely a situation where a fire resistant coat is needed, it makes Hank feel that much safer when he goes out. The only time he will go out with out it is if he is worried it will limit his mobility too much, to a point where he is more worried about that then fire. The coat also has a semi hidden pocket for his hatchet.
- Hanks Folding hatchet. When folded up it is about a foot long metal block. When unfolded the blade it revealed and the handle reaches almost two feet, making it a great emergency weapon when he is not able to gear up.
- Keys. Hank has keys for all sorts of things, some of those things include things for the RV, it's lock boxes, storage units he keeps across the country, and keys to his allies homes. Among those keys are his old house keys.
- A dog whistle. Vampires have stronger hearing then humans, though Hank has never been able to prove it he believes that the dog whistle may be able to help identify vampires in crowded places. Or it will just annoy the people around him.
- Hank keeps a small multi tool ready, mainly because if you need to cut a small rope pulling out the secrete axe is not a great option.
- Normal clothes. Hank will almost always have some kind of nerdy shirt on, and some form of combat pants. Mainly ones that resemble his old uniform,
- Hank still wears his dog tags on him, despite the fact that they would confirm who he is if someone saw that VS his fake IDs.
- A lighter. You never know when something needs to be set on fire.
Possessions Kept at Home:Supplies, things of note, special belongings—things beyond basics (i.e. things like butterfly collections, shot guns, bibles, computers, and so forth)
- Guns and ammo: Hank has a pretty large collection of guns and ammo. Some legal, some... Less then legal. The ones of note would be a double barrel sawed off shotgun. Legal is some states, illegal in many as well. An M16, Borrowed from Hank's service time. He soon learned it was not as effective as he thought it would be against vampires. A full length 12 gauge pump-action shotgun, great when times call for it, which isn't a lot. In his collection are also other types of rifles and pistols, most of which never get use. He also has silver bullets (A failed attempt at trying to learn how to kill vampires), he attempted wooden bullets (None of those would fire right), and some hollow point rounds, as they are okay for slowing down an enemy that bullets can't kill.
- Photos: Hank has a collection of photos and photo albums from his family. Many times looking at these photos are the only thing that can keep him going.
- Canned and dried food: Hank worried he may get isolated for long periods of time makes sure to keep weeks worth of food stored away in the walls and floors of the RV. Weeks worth of food goes by fast when the world seems to be ending.
- Spare fuel: The RV goes through a lot of fuel, especially with an engine that has enough horse power to bring the RV to a speed faster then it was built to go. Due to this though at this point it is mostly just empty storage containers.
- Books, so many books: Hank loves to read, it's his main past time, and it's one of his main educational sources. He will read fiction, non fiction, historical stories, manuals, etc. The way he sees it, during World War two, Winston Churchill would read a book every night in hopes of inspiration to keep the people of Brittan willing to hold on. So it should help him right?
- Solar equipment: Despite the fact it does not produce enough energy to power the RV's engine, it is still able to help Hank power some of his other tools and things. Things such as stereos, lights, radios, his computer.
- Communications: Hank has several radios, a computer, and walkies to try and keep informed on the world around him. Despite the internet not wanting to cooperate radio frequencies are still up. He is able to listen in for quite a distance, and he is able to respond assuming who ever is talking is with in his own range. Though with out a proper antenna or the juice to reach long ranges Hank is forced to mostly listen.
- Hunting tools: Even though Hank mostly aims to hunt vampires there have been other situations where he has found himself face to face with other monsters. Most of these times he is forced to leave until he can figure out how to handle his situation. Due to this he has done what he can to make sure he has a little bit of everything he can think of to do so he can be prepared. The problem being that with out testing said information most of his things are just theoretical. So he may end up with another silver bullet to the vampire problem again.
- A large music collection: Hank being the man he is has stocked up on music. Most of it is digital now, but he still owns a lot of CDs and cassettes.
- Different apparel set ups: Hank has a collection of camouflage and other kinds of clothes he likes to keep ready. Some clothes he likes to call civilian clothes, and then he has clothes that help him blend in with specific situations. Other ones are just designed to take beatings or be resistant in other forms.
- Hanks armor: Hank has body armor that was originally designed to stop bullets, but due to some work Hank was able to pull off it is now designed to withstand knives, blunt force, and overall basic beatings better then before. It's downside, if someone was to shoot at him now the armor was weaker then before. With this armor he has elbow and knee pads, his helmet with the built in gas mask, and if he deems needed, night vision. Despite it's limited vision.

Life Before The Apocalypse Hank was born and grew up in New York City. Growing up he would tend to get into a lot of fights, many were about Ego but he likes to claim at points he was defending others as well. This was a common theme within Hank's life. Surprisingly, he was able to finish school with out getting expelled, and he joined the Marine Corps in hopes of learning some discipline.
Hank when he finished his training was promoted to Staff sergeant for his amazing work and semi decent leadership abilities. His discipline was still an issue, which was the main reason he was never promoted to a lieutenant. Before his first deployment with the USS John F Kennedy he met a young girl named Marissa. They attempted to stay in contact while Hank was deployed, getting married soon after Hank returned for his leave. Over the next few years and many deployments Hank and Marissa have had two children who Hank grew to love.
While on his last deployment Hank's unit was sent in to deal with a hostage situation on an isolated oil rig. While on that rig Hank's unit came across vampires for what seemed like the first time for any of them. With out the proper equipment or training, or even knowing what they were fighting, Hank's unit was decimated. Out of the 15 marines and 4 pilots that entered, there are a total of 4 survivors. While in the engagement a few lucky shots were made, Hank just happened to be one of the ones to make one of those lucky shots.
The Vampire that Hank had struck in the face with his rifle went out to seek revenge. Though it took months to find out exactly who Hank was and where he lived, it was done. When Hank was finally able to return home, he found his family has been killed out of spite of what Hank did. Hank soon joined the life of a Hunter in hopes he would find the vampire that had killed his family.
Life Leading Up To the Apocalypse // What Brings You to Altsoba Hank arrived at Altsoba only a few days before things started to get really bad. He arrived trying to follow a lead that he believed could have been the vampire that he was seeking vengeance from. The issue being that once there, things got too chaotic to leave, so Hank tried to hold out not to far outside of town, though trying to run his RV to change locations soon consumed up his fuel supply. Due to this, all he has left is enough to start the RV, and enough to get a few miles before the RV should quit on him.
He now does what he can to deal with the Supernatural problem that is starting to be hosted within the small town despite resources becoming limited. He is determined still to get the job done.
Theme Song: sound of silence by Simon and Garfunkel.Deviances: Beyond being physically strong for a human being, there isn't much more different from his then most people.
Extra Information: Despite Hank having his own objectives he is more then willing to stop a monster (Some humans count to him) if he believes they should be dealt with or if they are going to create a situation he has been forced into himself.
