Positive * Stubborn * Hardworking * Impulsive
Sexuality: Pansexual
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: Alastair is, the nice guy.
Not the type of nice guy that falls for a girl, never gets noticed without confessing and says “nice guys finish last.” No. Just a nice guy.
He views the world a bit brighter than others. A smile on his face at almost all times to match this way of thinking. The bright way of thinking may be because of his simplicity as well. The world is pretty easy to handle at times and it’s not as complicated as some people make it seem to him. 2 + 2 = 4. That’s it. He has always thought that everything has a good or at least meaningful purpose. Even if it didn’t seem like it during certain times in his life. His positivity comes with limits though. Like anyone in this world. However, reaching that point meant that he has to be stressed as well as irritated. Negative people tend to irritate him if they are negative to the point that he cannot understand why they’re so set on pulling people down.
A romantic at heart, when Alastair has a crush he's generally sweeter towards them. Though he might not realize it's a crush or even love until later. Though Alastair is easy to misunderstand if he gives you a flower but he'll be giving out lots of flowers.
Alastair is a hard worker. Has been and always will be. Serious when he needs to be. If he wants something, he will work his hardest to get it or to achieve that goal. Some people might assume he’s one to tell jokes but he’s really not. He
would if he knew how to tell them. Occasionally, he’ll tell a pun that could make others cringe and other times he can tell a successful joke….but not really. All his life, he worked his best to make sure that he could make even some money as a child for his family and it’s the same now. Though it’s more like he wants to make as much money as he can so that his family can be proud of him back home.
Habits: Biting his tongue when he’s thinking, Liking his lips before he’s about to work, Snapping his fingers when he’s excited, making the OK sign.. A lot. Cooking for more than one almost every night. Family habit.
Hobbies: He’s always loved card games and loves a good round of spades, Wine- wine is good. Reading. Cooking a good meal is always nice. Though he typically cooks Malagasy cuisine. Oh but he can make a badass pb and j. Football’s fun.

What Brings You to Dunder Mifflin: He was working at a grocery store that got him decent pay until he was 28. Then, he quit and began to work multiple jobs, the most of his income coming out of working customer service.
Boy, was that fun. Dunder Mifflin was a great opportunity for him. He quickly applied to that job and crossed his fingers, not sure if he'd get the job. But luckily, he did and has been working there ever since. Happy to be able to have a stable job to provide for him and his daughter.
Life Up To This Point:Antananarivo, Madagascar is a beautiful place. Born in this wonderful city, a bright child was raised. His family was a large one. 4 brothers and 3 sisters. A deceased mother and a father that raised them all on his own. Well, with the help of his grandparents. Alastair was the second oldest of them all, the first being his 2 years older sister that now works as a teacher in Antananarivo. He was always one that put his younger siblings needs before his own. Their happiness was his happiness and it was a sublime happiness. A pure one. His father has a shop set up selling the fruits and vegetables that he grew himself. Everyday, going to the farm early in the morning to take care of them and working hard to sell as much as he could. His grandparents have a small flower shop set up that he would go to at a young age and listen to his grandma speak about the flowers she was taking care of at the time.
He by no means had a hard or tough life. If anyone hates their childhood, he’s not one to give advice on getting over it because he honestly couldn’t. His household was one that was on the side of low income but that was never a problem for them. With the kids of the house soon working once they were 13, they could make money that way. He would see other kids with new clothing and him wearing clothes that were old and worn but still suitable. It wasn’t like they couldn’t even afford clothes but 7 kids means that clothes were worn until they could be passed down or reached their breaking point.
Once he was 13, he considered his jobs to be helping his siblings with homework, helping his father with the vegetable and fruit garden and taking care of flowers with his grandma. That and cooking for his family when he could. His father got him into boxing when he was 15. Knowing how to fight was a must. His father always said to “not go into a fight when you can’t even keep your fists up.” And with that, he began to learn how to box. This led to his not getting bullied and being able to stick up for himself or his siblings when he needed to.
22 years of age and he lived with his parents. He was 22 and had already gotten a degree from the university of Antananarivo and came back home soon after. It was the same age his younger sister, age 17 had admitted to getting pregnant with the child of a man that had fled right after he found out that she was pregnant. His sister, Lyian was devastated. Stuck in her room for days and once the child finally came, she didn’t know what to do. But Alastair was there and told her that she should live her life was a child and leave the baby to him. That’s how he ended up with a child that he calls his own. If anyone asks, he has a 14-year-old daughter. Of course, he’ll explain if anyone really wants to know but people might assume he’s married. No idea. Alastair finds his daughter Zinnia- which was named after his grandmother's favorite flower, to be precious. Never once had he thought of her as anything else besides his own and his “daughter” also has it set in her mind that she’s his daughter. Something that he’ll have to have a chat about later.
At the age of 27, he moved to America. The place to fulfil your dreams and make money.
