Alright peeps we are in the final stretch before the kick off - Tuesday is the date I am aiming for - (Tuesday My time - that is East Coast USA folks) - Make sure that those of you with characters in the characters tab have your relation sheet added by them with at least 1 person filled in. (And make sure you cleared it with the respective Rper before you do!)

My 3 characters have all been updated for those of you that contacted me. Poor Beni, no one wanted to show Beni any love lol (I can't blame you)

Anywho, get those up and tag me when you do here in the OOC please so I can check you off for ready to start!!! Those of you that have been through this process with me before - It will be a W.N. broken down as the start of a chapter (Similar to TWD and DTB) - Those of you that are new - if you have any questions once I post it, just ask me or anyone of the "regulars."

Char's computer is broke so she will be joining us late once she gets her new computer in. Sodium most likely will not be completed with his Cs until Tuesday. Pundii should have his secondary in sometime this weekend depending on his schedule.

Due to repeated issues with the Server for the Chat, I have made a new one. Pm's have been sent out with the new link. If I missed you, pm me to get the link. (I think I got everyone in every RP but that was a long list of Rpers to send pm's to, so I could have easily missed one.)

ONL - Know you are knew to the group and all, so probably a bit confused to what this is about. It is a chat room I host for all members of all my RP's. Personality: If there was one part of William that was the most obvious to most people, it would be his bravery. Whether it be charging into danger, moving through traps or plundering ancient tombs, William rarely lets his own fear get to him. A Scoundrel through and through, William knows what in life he enjoys and makes no effort to hide it - he enjoys the company of women and a good amount of money which he can throw around, it's rare he'll take on some sort of job unless either one is involved. For those who get to know William casually, he has quite the sense of humour, generally able to find something to laugh about in any real situation.

History

What Brings You To Cairo: Egypt has always been a point of interest for William, partly as a result of his father's own obsession with the area, whereas his father was fascinated in the history the country had to offer, William saw the possible riches to be found there. That is what has driven William to go to Cairo, planning on uncovering as many ancient treasures as possible to sell to the highest bidder.

Life Before You Moved To Cairo: Born in Brooklyn, New York, to an archaeologist father, William's mother died during childbirth. Despite the death of his wife, William's father did his best to take good care of Bill, but considering the mans active lifestyle travelling around the world to dig sites, William rarely spent much time in the same place. Mostly gaining his early education from his father and his aids, William had little choice but to become heavily involved in history, building a passion for the subject.

When he turned nineteen, William finally moved away from his father to go to university, going to Oxford, he studied intensely the subjects he'd become so in tune with under his father's tutelage, excelling at the university and being offered a position upon completing his studies to go and take part in numerous digs for the university or for his father. William however, declined all offers, seeking to strive out on his own. While studying and learning of the ancient history of the world, particularly Egypt, William became infatuated with the idea of ancient riches.

Striking out alone, William has heavily driven himself into research, searching for the best place to start his searches for ancient riches. He has made a few discoveries across Latin America, but all has been in preparation for his dreams and goals, uncovering the ancient riches of the Egyptian Pharaohs. Finally believing himself ready, he has struck out to Egypt, ready to extend his search to Cairo and the ancient sands.

Life Since You Moved To Cairo: William has spent a great deal of his time in Cairo researching, most of that time spent in the Library and Museum searching through what archives and notes he can get access to and planning out how best to begin his search without directly getting involved with any of the ongoing excavations. He has made a few small expeditions into tombs around the area of Cairo, but his finds so far have been minor. For now he continues his research, waiting for his big break.

History

What Brings You To Cairo: As an archaeologist of some renown, Hank was his boss's first choice to send to Egypt to get a slice of the rotten mummy pie. Hank was sent with a full team of archaeologists to explore, discover, and most importantly, earn money. Over the course of the year, all but old Hank have either died, become ill and left, or been scared off by superstition or by the other archaeologists' conditions. Hank, however, failed to notice the dwindling of his work group due in part to both his focus on archeology and his schizophrenia. There's also the fact that all the messages his boss sends to call him back somehow don't get delivered...

Life Before You Moved To Cairo: The voices first came to Hank when he was a kid. He sat at a playground, playing a card game with his friends. While trying to decide on his next move, a voice spoke up, just loud enough to be heard while being indistinct from Hank's own thoughts. The voice gave him an idea, a plan of action, and Hank dutifully followed through - and won. From then on the voices multiplied, always speaking indistinctly from Hank's thoughts, always guiding him along.

Those voices contributed to Hank's interest in Incan history. Integrated as they were with his mind, their interest became his own interest. Soon Hank was carrying a different book about the Incas with him every week. Interest became obsession, and obsession became Hank's life goal - an expedition to explore the Incan ruins.

Shortly after college, Hank's dream came true. He was hired on as a junior archaeologist and sent to Chile to research a large Incan city. Year by year he worked his way up, making a name for himself among those in the field. His dedication to both his job and to games gained him fame, and his strange personality gained him a slight degree of infamy.

Life Since You Moved To Cairo: As mentioned when explaining why Hank is in Cairo, Hank has been working at the head of the expedition of the temple of Monthu in Armant. He's earned a reputation for his dedication - as well as his eccentricity - over his time working the desert. He hasn't been able to learn much Arabic due to spending his study time buried in books of Egyptian mythology, though the presence of those who can translate for him eased all difficulties that arose from it.

@Sodium Okay, a few things - gonna need a slight color change - Hank and Williams are too similar; which could pose a problem if collabs happen and such.

Under psychology - I have to ask since I have never Rped with you before - can you pull off skizo? People will use it from time to time to describe their character and won't be true to it - Skizo will be used by your adorable GM here to fuck with you character. >.> So you are being warned, lol

Under skills - can string together a sentence in Arabic - Just know Egyptian Arabic and Arabic does differ and having it under skills it would be R/W Arabic (this does not cover hieroglyphics and such.) - to have him speak it a little, place it under languages without an asterisks with a notation (minimal knowledge) - With Spanish you may want to put a note by it (Quechua mix) with all the time he spent in Chili studying the history.

Under Items - Each weapon counts as 1 slot in what is on your person and in your room. So the three colts would take up 3 item slots - gonna need an adjustment for that. Same with the water flasks. 1 per slot. (Though I would move the coin to the wallet to take up one less slot so there takes care of one item slot issue.)

With History - know that in the city and such he won't always have someone around that can translate for him, so it won't remove all difficulties of not speaking the language since you won't have dedicated NPC's to control to constantly translate for him - don't worry, that is all part of the RP.

Okay, we have started. Few things - those without their Cs's approved yet - don't worry. I will send you pm's once you are accepted to catch you up and get you rolling.

The rest of you - Hands off your Cs's in the CS tab from this point! They are stamped and marked. If you need to make changes, even to correct a typo - tag me here in OOC first before you do anything to get approval.

Those of you whose characters are approved and that speak the right language have been PMed the translations you need.

Those of you that didn't have the right language listed to understand the dream, don't worry. At this point even though you don't speak the language, with as often as they come you can repeat it now without problem.

Notice the no translations thing? Make a note of that! Don't put translations in your posts. If you speak a different language - pm them to me only. If someone you are speaking to speaks the language, then pm them as well the translation. (Cutting down on the metagaming aspect :P)

And here we go - counters have begun! If your character is in the Cs tab already, that means you have the standard 7 days to get your first post in, removed on day 8 if you don't. Remember if you need an extension you must formally request it here in the OOC by day 5. Only granting 2 extensions over the course of the rest of the calendar year, use them wisely. I'm fairly certain I can play a character that can be described as schizophrenic, in both definitions of the word.

On the Arabic thing: I fully understand. There is a reason I put that where it is and wrote it in that specific manner.
