@Holy Soldier

I'm living in the European timezone and currently can enjoy vacation, but I still have to get some sleep at some point, and that was yesterday immediately after I posted the initial CS so that's the reason why there was no response so far. I just didn't have the opportunity not to only read what's happening, but to really rework the thing since I had to attend to some other duties today.

No ORs (Orignal, Made-up Races).
Holy Soldier

Yep. If this had been in there from the beginning it would have saved me from a lot of futile effort and you probably wouldn't still wait for an archer. The term 'alien' alone is extremely misleading and is prone to default to 'anything that is not a species originating from the same world' or the like as long as you don't define what actually is NOT alien. Sorry, but I just had to make this comment at this point :)

Anyway. Next try:

Character Name: Kerylun
Alias: Lucy - that's short for Lucifer, because of his appearance.
Age: 36
Race: Gargoyle
Height: 9'4 ( 2,84m )
Weight: 928 lbs ( 421kg )
Hair Color: Matt white. In contrast to humans, it is not a sign for old age, but a natural phenomenon. His hairstyle is a badly organized mess: As long as it stays out of his eyesight, everything's okay for him. Helping with this is the fact that his hairs are long, easily covering his shoulders, thick and sturdy. He also has a short goatee.
Eye Color: His eyes are amber with a white clarity around it that is very susceptible to reddish traces of blood vessels appearing inside of it.
Visual Description:

Written Description: The picture only represents how he would look if he would not wear anything. He usually does however. It is a simple pair of trousers and a shirt that almost doesn't cover anything of his back because of the wings. Both items are made out of thick linen and look quite cheap. No boots. He doesn't use any armor and would not be amused if someone tried to squeeze him into one, especially if its made out of inflexible metal. His skin is of a very dark grey color that competes with a slight touch of red in form of an irregular pattern across his entire body. Judging by the tightness his skin wraps around his muscle one could assume that he is seriously undernourished, but that's only mildly the case. His hands and feet are formed as an array of vicious natural weaponry. The wing surface consists of a highly flexible, surprisingly thin, leathery skin. Fully deployed they stretch out for several yards on each side to be able to actually support him. And he has a quite long and sturdy tail.
Level: 1
Class: Archer
Abilities:
  • Fly - These wings aren't for pure decoration. However deciding to engange a combat flying is an ambivalent decision: On one hand you obviously don't have to worry about melee attacks, on the other hand a significant bit of precision in own attacks is lost along all chances of staying hidden. The real benefit is terrain-independent relocation. As long as a person is physically fit and not too heavy (~1/3 of his own weight), he can carry someone on his back. That someone then won't be able to do anything but look around because he would have to hold on to Kerylun. Grabbing an enemy and dump him from a proper altitude would theoretically be possible, but he could as well get his arms cut off in that attempt.
  • Petrifying skin - Briefly grants Kerylun dramatically increased damage resistance, allowing him to engage in melee combat and make full use of his physical prowess.

Skills:
  • Inhuman physique - While with his size he is certainly prone to suffer from accidents and embarrassing situations in unprepared households, it is obvious that there could be situations in which this is very advantageous - and be it just for a bar fight.
  • Night vision - Imagine a creature of the night that doesn't have this...

Weapon: A large longbow.
Personality: He's quite intelligent, often to the surprise of the people around him. He also has a rather smooth temper as long as you meet him with respect and not the usual bullshit. In the latter case the outcome depends on where he is: In a city with its many guards he'll probably bare his teeth, hiss and hit you with deliberate blasts of bad air. In the wilderness where noone's looking... it gets dangerous. Very dangerous. He's become adept in pretending obedience while internally ripping you into pieces and hatching plans to put such plans into actions. To sum things up: it's not far away from the truth to consider him a walking social catastrophy, but only partly for reasons he can be claimed responsible for.
Quirks: He needs to eat a huge lot and is purely carnivorous, ideal conditions for very low standards when it comes to quality - his body can take it. Slain enemies are not on his list however, except if the situation's really dire. It's needless to say that people can consider him quite intimidating, resulting in a social barrier he has to get over first.
Likes: Meat, wilderness, buildings of adequate ceiling height, a good fight (with him winning, of course), flying.
Dislikes: Humanity as a whole is his social problem. It gets better with other races, depending on what they think about him, but humans... someone hit Alt+F4 for them! Or wait, that's not possible. They already run on Windows 3.1 bluescreens in their heads. He can work with them if he must, but he hates them. The reason is that a hunting party once crossed his way and what the nobles did was to quarrel about who would be allowed to claim the prize and enslave him. The winner did so with success for several years until he managed to escape by force. This is not commonly known, but he still is pretty much a savage that plays and has to play the poor man's role in human cities.

Character Name: Keith T. Magician
Alias: Keith the Magician!
Age: N/A
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0
Weight: Slim... kind of weedy honestly.
Hair Color: Milk White
Eye Color: Light Red
Visual Description:

Written Description: Keith the Magician appears to be a somewhat weedy but healthy young man in his late teens, early twenties. Always dressed to impress any onlookers in relation to his career as a street performer of 'magic tricks', Keith will almost always don an expensive looking but worn suit with a black hat as an accessory. He is almost always seen with a deck of cards somewhere on his person. Despite his seemingly young age, a glance at his eyes suggests that the mind behind them are older and wiser in years than his physical appearance lets on.
Level: 1

Class: Warlock/Street Performer
Abilities:
1. Life Drain: If Keith is within close range of a target, he can call upon the dark powers at his command to rip the very life out of them, draining their health over time in order to restore his own and heal his own injuries. Overuse of this ability can actually result in the user getting physically younger.
2. Fireball: Keith can conjure and throw a fireball. The strength and size of the fireball depends on how much time and energy that he pours into it.

Skills:
1. Slight of Hand:Slight of Hand is vital for a street performer; If someone cannot see or figure out how you selected their card because they are none the wiser to your actions then that is a type of magic all of its own.
2. Well Educated:Keith can read and speak in quite a large number of languages... through he seems to have a knack for the demonic for some reason.

Weapon: Fireballs count as weapons, right? If not, he can fall back on his trusty dagger.

Personality: Keith likes to present himself as a charismatic, charming but good natured rogue with a tinkle in his eye and a look of only slightly tarnished innocence on his face; The fact that he can have this look on his face while he is standing in the middle of the blood soaked wreckage of a burning carriage, covered with blood himself with clearly stolen jewellery sticking out of his pocket and still appear confused as to why someone is freaking the hell out about it tells a great deal about what goes on inside of his mind.

Quirks: Sociopath, Sadistic, Impulsive, Cares little about the value of life.
Likes: Being the center of attention, Fire, Making a profit, Sex.
Dislikes: Being ignored, Moralists, Paladins.
Inventory: Empty

Hey, yeah, I'm finally online to go through all these profiles. :D Yeah, I'm finishing up my training and I go "camping" for four days, but not in a row. At least I get a weekend. But yeah, I'll be getting online a little late, but after that, I should be on a normal schedule.

Anywho, Keith's Life Drain skill is absolutely fine, BUT I need to know: 1) what is the range in "meters" or "feet" of his life drain? How close does someone need to be for it to affect them? How many targets can it affect within range? and 2) Since we're not using a stat system and this is a level 1 basic skill. Let's say it heels cuts, stabs, and 2 degree burns. If the wound is any heavier then that, then it won't work unless you decide to upgrade it with level ups. Besides that, you'll be good to go for being the "Mage" class for Team 2.

@PhoenixEye9I would change your option to "Ranger." Because Bright Ops beat you to the Mage class for Team 2. The Ranger class is the closest I can think of to the Druid class without diving too heavily into the magic category.

Everything is good. As for that one ability, I want you to have the option to improve/upgrade it. So let's say the Petrify Skin ability grants him protection against cuts, scrapes, and nicks. Things that would easily tear the skin of a human being, but wouldn't for your character. You'll be able to upgrade it to resist deeper damage maybe into the dermis to subcutaneous level, and even more into resist status ailments and magic attacks. How does that sound? But remember, this is just an idea. You would have to choose to spend a level to upgrade it or spend a level to get new abilities.

@Cyrania@Halvtand@Fetzen@JackalopeLove@KoL@Fetzen@Raizin@Bright_Ops@PhoenixEye9@Ayemdar

Hey Everybody GM Mass PM, ;)

So, I updated the opening page on the OOC with the Second Party Team Roster. The Second Party is already in development with so many excited players jumping in. And you know what that means? We need to come up with a Guild Name. Also, with there being 2 parties now, more missions are going to open. As soon as we get all the members in First Party all approved, then First Party will be able to start the IC. Whatever missions First Party doesn't get, Second Party can take when they get approved. Some missions when completed will unlock other missions as a result of how that mission affected the people of Bridgewater and even the gang.

I'm sure you guys noticed the Boss quest was locked, right? Well, that's not going to open until a certain amount of quests are completed. But you also see the King's Quest, right? If a group decides to complete the Kings quest, which gives them the funds to move on, then they don't have to complete all the excess quests to unlock the boss for that area. They can simply move on with the funds they earned from the King's Quest.

The consequence for that is, you might miss something nice and some more fat loot for getting rid of Bridgewater's problems. But it'll be up to the groups to decide.

The boss will be a guild battle. It's a town-wide gang. It's going to be like a mass battle. So if everyone completes all the quests for Bridgewater, then it'll unlock and the madness will begin. Along with another leveling opportunity. :D

I made some edits to the ability that should cover it.

As for guild names... considering the current make up of the parties and the personalities that we have so far, combined with the general level of education...

Character Name: Raven
Alias: Violet Thorn
Age: 24
Race: Half Elf (Human/Elf)
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair Color: Raven has mid-back length black hair that has violet hues to it.
Eye Color: She has normal pupils, but her eyes are dark violet in color.

Written Description: One of Raven's most distinguishable features is a scar across her left cheek. She also has a tattoo of her most prized dagger on her right wrist. She has more scars across her body from various battles and contracts.

Level: 1
Class: Thief; Assassin

Abilities:
1. Teleport Strike: Flash through the shadows and ambush an enemy, dealing damage and stunning them. Cooldown: 2 turns
2. Poisoned Blades: Poisons her daggers inflicting poison damage for 2 turns.

Skills:
1. Agility: Can climb to high places if needed (trees, buildings, etc)
2. Disarm: Detect and disarm traps.

Weapon: Dual Wield; Daggers

Personality: Raven isn't the person you want a random visit from. She started as a thief, doing what she could to make some quick and easy gold, but eventually made her way to killing for her gold. She's known as "Violet Thorn". Violet for her features and thorn, well because if you're being visited by her you can expect a dagger to be involved.

Raven is smart, you need to be for her profession. She has to think on her feet and be able to plan out her contracts thoroughly. For an Assassin, she does have morals. (If that's really possible.) She tends not to take contracts with innocent people as the target unless the gold involved is too great to refuse. She's also quite charming. Raven has learned how to use her looks to her advantage. She's been called a flirt, however, to her it's just another way to manipulate people to get what she wants.

Now, all that being said, Raven is loyal to her party, friendly even. She's aware that with them, she can make much more gold and maybe have some good company while doing it.

Quirks: Tends to fidget/play with her blades frequently and is condescending.
Likes: Gold, blades, night time, storms, manipulating others
Dislikes: Daylight, domesticated animals, clearings (open spaces)

I apologize. We have to put one more limit on the Life Drain and that is how many times would he use Life Drain before he kills someone?

They have different focuses though so they could be in the same party without too much overlap. Besides, Ayemdar's character is more of a thief type while Raizin's is more of an attacker.

Fair enough... How many times he needs to use it to kill someone varies on how healthy they are; Your average everyday human might survive two or three hits of it before they keel over.

@Bright_OpsAnd an inhuman? Try to think of a high number because it'll either remain at that high number, meaning you won't ever upgrade it. Or if you upgrade it, then you'll decrease the amount of times your character would need to use the ability before he successfully kills someone.

@Holy Soldier its not that I don't want my character I was just throwing ideas out for everyone in case someone needed one, but if they want assassin I can be a serial killer since they are much more assassin like I wouldn't mind giving it up for them. I'll make a new one later today so yeah Ayemdar can have it
