Visual Description:

Written Description: Alexander often appears pretty clean and well shaven and such. Though his clothes aren't particularly flashy, they certainly are practical. Unlike robes. They are also always absolutely spotless. He makes sure of that. Alex himself is by far not strong, nor as lean as thieves or barbarians would be. Though he isn't frail as the common wizard, nor as old. He has a scar on the back of his right hand from a blade. He keeps his body devoided of any gold and keeps his copper orb in a satchel on his hip.
Level: 1
Class: Sorcerer (Sorcerers, unlike wizards, have a natural aptitude for magic. Them harnessing magic is akin to a poet writing a poem.)
Abilities:
1. Mana blast - The sorcerer concentrates mana in front of him and releases the violent energy in an instant. It's a short ranged spell with devastating effect. The size, as well as the power of the blast, depends on how long the Sorcerer has been channeling mana & how capable a sorcerer is at channeling Mana. As a starter Sorcerer, he barely grasps the idea or concept of Mana. The closest comparison he can make is wood to fuel a fire (not really accurate at all) thus his channeling ability is not that good yet.
2. Mana orb - The sorcerer gathers Mana around his enchanted Orb. Allowing the Mana to remain stable as it clings to the object. It can throw said orb for explosive effect. Again, power depends on how capable the sorcerer is at gathering Mana, as well as how long he/she was channeling.

Skills:
1. Beast knowledge - Alexander knows about the many beasts of Bridgewater, as well as whatever roams the fields & forests around it. This knowledge translates into knowing what beast may drop what resources, as well as where it may be the weakest. This applies to wild creatures (like wolves) and any related creatures (like giant rats). However, it does NOT apply to humans, demons, mystical creatures, etc etc.
2. Alchemy - Give him a cauldron and the required materials and he'll whip you up whatever potion you want. One that enhances the mind, one that makes you stronger or one that knits the flesh together faster. The opposite is possible too. The fastest way to kill a man is by making sure his heart stops without even making a wound. Aside from those serious businesses, it's also pretty profitable when you learn how to make potions that just get someone high as a kite.

Right now he can make lesser health & mana potion, as well as a potion that gives you a bit of a buzz (could technically be used to gain an advantage in battle but it has to be ingested and takes a while to kick in). He uses the last one mostly to gain a few coins. To practice alchemy one needs a complete alchemy station (cauldron, water, fire,...), vials and the appropriate ingredients.

Weapon: Orb - The preferred weapon of the Sorcerer is an orb. From when they were little, most Sorcerers learned how to levitate tiny rocks or objects. Most learned that an orb quickly becomes a sling without a rope attached. Which is how they commonly fight when someone gets too close and they can't gather Mana. Sorcerer's their spells often depend on the Orb so there is often a built in safety making it return after used.

Personality: Alex is by all accounts a bit of a hard-ass. He stands on politeness and seriousness. Though he will laugh at a joke, don't expect him to make any himself. During job, he tries to be the epitome of professionalism. That all lasts until you get him drunk. Becuase then he's as loud as a dwarf and as foul-mouth like a sailor. However, while his is polite and such, he is also pretty greedy and his only loyalty is to money. He ain't an idiot thought. You'll have to pay him a lot if you want him to break any laws. And even then he needs to be sure he won't get caught. All in all, he ain't stupid.
Quirks: Greedy, believes that black cats actually bring luck.
Likes: Wealth, magical power, having a great pub party, influence
Dislikes: Poverty, powerlessness, barfights

@Legion02If you make a Mage, then that makes a Third Party because Second Party already has a mage. Second Party needs an Archer and a Tank.

Why is it so surprising Gwen is upset about No's behavior? The guy's basically straddling her chair, getting right up next to her, staring, then suggesting he's the best thing that ever could happen to her. There's flirting, but No is bordering on sexual assault.

@Legion02The Guild/Party Leader chooses the quests for people to complete. The guild leader still needs to be elected though. I might have to make it an OOC election because the shenanigans in game are distracting everyone from what needs to be discussed. But, yes, you can keep your guy. He'll just be in Third Party, which means he is number 3 in priority for quest dibs. Whatever is left over, and you better hope it's the 1 person quest that is, he'll be able to have whatever is left over. But...stay tuned for my review of your CS. That's coming next.

(You should know how capable your character is at channeling mana. He's level 1. So what do you think?)

Okay. Firstly, I added this to the OOC OP as new information:

So, because we have an increase in interest. The parties are arranged under a guild. The guild's name is being voted on. The guild leader is being voted on. The parties are arranged by priority for quests. Players who go AWOL and disappear will have their place in the party forfeit, which will allow players from Second, Third, and any other party to advance into the next party to cover the gap. First Party has first dibs on quests, then second, then third, etc.


Secondly, we have to vote on some things. Since I think people are having a lot of fun in the IC interacting with each other, I felt we'll do the Guild Proceedings OOC. There are two things that need to be voted on.

First! The Guild Name. So I need everyone to vote on this.

I made this link. So you can all vote anonymously on the guild name. If there is a name that you want to add to this list, mention me and let me know.

Second! The Guild Leader. Here's another Poll.

I'm going to leave these polls up and I'll check the results regularly. If I get nearly 100% participation, then I'll announce who and what. Thank you all for your patience, participation, and for enjoying this game so much. :)

@Holy Soldier Should have explained the Mana Channeling more, my bad. Basically, he's only level 1 so it won't be powerful. But I put it in there so it could level as he levels. So my question is: do I have to somehow put it in numbers of how it increases in power? (I'll make it clear by default that he's not that good at it yet)

For Alchemy, again, you make a valid point and I will change accordingly. Would it be fair if I detailed what he can make (Lesser healing potion, lesser mana potion, lesser drug potion (gives you a slight buzz, mostly taken for entertainment and sold for money)? And he learns new potions as he goes along and levels. I'll detail the recipes when I get a basic idea of what I can use as ingredients.

@Holy Soldier It is not original race. I pointed out ( put a link to the Wikipedia page from where I took the race ) that her race was used in D&D ( Dungeons And Dragon. I believe that it was used in Spelljammer expansion ) . She's not an alien. Just an intelligent bug.

@AshevelendarJust keep it simple. If you're making a tank, then make a tank. If you're making a archer/ranger, etc. Make one.
