Mordred

So her attack didn't effect the blobby thing. Deep down, beneath her frustration, she wasn't exactly surprised. Things like this were usually pretty difficult to harm with physical damage. And down here, Mordred was certain she couldn't risk using any of her ranged capabilities, let alone invoking Clarent Blood Arthur. It would likely blast its way upward through the street, and cause untold amounts of collateral damage and loss of life. There was no way she'd consider anything that would seriously destabilize the tunnel and cause such terrible damage. So that meant limiting her magical energy to her strikes.

"Oi, this thing's not gonna get seriously hurt by physical attacks, so we've gotta try 'n use close range-" the Red Knight was cut off when Alberich unleashed some sort of fire wave that promptly exploded.

Mordred rounded on him in that instant, grip tightening on Clarent.

"What the hell are you thinking?!" she snarled, taking a step towards the man. "Setting off an explosion down here?! Do you wanna collapse the sewers and kill anyone above us, you dumbass?!"

Perhaps the only reason she wasn't pressing the issue even further was because of the presence of the blob. At this point, she'd very nearly had enough of the guy she saw as an aggressively antagonistic bastard.

"If we didn't have to worry about that, that thing would be dead already!" Mordred snapped, glaring, but there wasn't really any time to lay into him any harder. They had to stop this slime thing already... Mana crackled like lightning around Clarent.

Birdy took a bare handful of steps down the sidewalk and then stopped, looking around. She was in a city but certainly not one that she was familiar with. It certainly wasn't on Oriotera and the buildings did look like Earth but she wasn't in Tokyo.

"Where am I..."

She exaggerated her movements as she looked around, acting as the idol Arita Shion. Birdy shrugged and muttered quietly to herself.

"I don't remember anything about where I was before this. I wasn't chasing anyone and the last place I remember being is in Tokyo."

The United Nations

Sanaki accepted the quiet nod with some respect. This man seemed to be more about his mind than some of the other individuals that had assembled here, though they didn't seem to be more than representatives of their nations rather than heads of states. Somewhat frustrating, but this world was again far different than her own in many regards. Though the almost seemingly sarcastic use of her title by one of the other men in this room was, in the realm of polite manners, a tad insulting even if she was trying to grasp the situation enough to understand why they would all be assumed to be...fiction here. They were here and alive, were they not? They had put their lives on the line to protect people in a place that was for most not like their own at all. It was all too strange for her tastes in the end, but it could not be helped at all. As much as she'd be happy to see Tanith or Sigrun here to be by her side as some small measure of comfort, this group of individuals was in the same vote as well. Save for that Leo boy, whose redheaded friend with fangs seemed laguz-like but wasn't one.

The small Empress then shook Mr. Sharpton's hand after Leo did, her small figure maintaining that head of state posture and regal disposition that had been so common in her life. For now, it seemed, the group had some funding for lodging, and would by tonight get some measure of temporary home at least for now. Between the seemingly different personalities and goals, she had no idea if they'd all get along as well on a personal note, but being in the same vote could drive different peoples to work a bit better together. Just take the fight against Ashera in her world for instance.

Though listening to Ms. Meteora and the actually-a-ghost swordswoman who had been worrying herself like a retainer worrying over her lord, Sanaki felt a small smile come to her face as she also listened to the redheaded man note a sort of familiarity of he and this Leo boy with this "version" of this city (or whatever that meant). It was an idea forming in her head. Maybe it could work out for all of them?

"Ms. Meteora," Sanaki said, after turning over and tugging on a sleeve with the aim of getting the other mage's attention, "Pardon my interruption, but other members of this group here desire to search for this valiant swordswoman's liege, who might be off eating. Surely we could lend them out aid, and along the way get some sort of meal as provisions for the search, hmm? It might also be a good chance to get an idea of this city's layout as well."

it was but an idea, but if two mages tagged along, then this one whose tome was admittedly far more impressive than most Sanaki had seen could perhaps add magic to the search. And along the way get food to satiate her hunger as well as she had so stated. Besides, getting the chance to see who these others were along a little tour given by the ones most "familiar" with this place would be a good chance in and of itself.

Aile

Monsters....Why Did It Have To Be Monsters

As the Berserker Killer and Biometal Wielder would be looking about for some kind of answers, a sudden chorus of cries and monstrous roars would fill the air with a sudden commotion. Even the normal people on the streets and usual folk walking about London where the two were turned their heads suddenly, looking to the direction of the noises, many fleeing before or after they saw what was coming their way. And as the source of the noise came into view, it wasn't hard to see the trouble the two heroines were in the face of at this point. Monsters. A regular army, a vast menagerie of monsters swarming the streets, roaring, destroying, killing those who stood in their way with wanton abandon as monsters were wont to do. Tall one-eyed giants who stood over the normal human like a lion over a rat, lion-like centaurs that trod down passerby and shoot others down with arrows and cut them down with mighty shield and sword. Tall, lean, goblin-like creatures lashing out with clubs and spears and such weapons like swords, and smaller, swift moving lizards and goblin-like creatures scurrying about in droves down the streets and on buildings with bows and similar weapons.

It was like they had emerged almost a portal to a nightmare, or had come from a world that had undergone some sort of Calamity that left so much monstrous terror in its wake. Regardless, cries of terror, monsters moving about, it was the sort of thing that could only spur on the hearts of those willing and able to deal with such a malady this city was suddenly having thrust upon it like growing malignant tumor. As one Moblin was rushing towards the "airheaded idol's" position, Aile swooped down in her Model H form to deliver a beam saber slash to its face, severing its head from its body, before its corpse and dispatched head turned black and then suddenly disappeared into nothingness once more. The Biometal use looked about at the monsters roaming about in her direction still with a grimace, reminded of the invasion of Mavericks that had...well, taken her mother's life and harmed so many others in her world.

She may not be familiar with this city, she had just fallen here out of the air of all things, but at the same time she felt a sense of duty to fight this threat. To protect the innocents here who didn't seem familiar with this threat at all. It was instinct to her by this point, and hell if she was going to let even more people get killed right here on her watch. She kept both of her sabers ignited, before charging forwards towards a group of smaller Moblins and Lizalfos that had gathered around a car with a family trapped inside.

Shokuhou Misaki

As the other three went about gathering whatever things they could for the night, Misaki was quietly setting up a net to gather intelligence with. Taking control of someone else to go stalk around for her was far more her style than going out to do it herself, after all, and the generally "controlled chaos" of the shelter made it a simple matter of finding someone to do that job in her stead.

As she sat back to relax in a somewhat-emptier area, though, the two other girls from earlier came over, goods in hand. Hibiki had arrived with a few packs of instant noodles (whatever that was worth), while Miku had what seemed to be parts for a tent in hand.

"I have to say, you to work fast," the esper stated as she brushed herself off, opting not to stand up as Miku began to set up the tent.

"Ah, well, we were among the last to arrive here, so the line wasn't that long," Miku replied, quietly beginning to set up the tent where they were before pausing for a moment. "Um... I'm sorry, I never got your name."

"My name is Shokuhou Misaki. In any case... Do you two have any plans from here on out? I assume you have something in mind for the long term, but for now..."

"Ah, then... Shokuhou-san... I'm not sure what to do, either, to be honest..." Miku trailed off, to which Misaki let out a sigh before getting to her feet.

"Well, for now I think you should get some rest. Today's been hectic, and you're not going to puzzle anything out tonight. I'll be gathering information on what's going on in Tokyo for now, but that'll take me a little while," she began to say before looking at the packs of instant noodles in Hibiki's hands again. Her brows furrowed at the sight, and the thought to get some less sodium-saturated food from a nearby convenience store, despite being something she had little experience doing, seemed far more appealing for the moment. "I'm going to walk around for a bit; I'll be back in a while."

As Misaki walked off, Miku quietly nodded and turned to Hibiki with a smile.

"Hey, Hibiki... You know, now that I think about it, it's been a while since I was by your side during a situation like this. Every since S.O.N.G. was formed, you've been busy running around and saving people all over the world. But this time, I'm going to be right by your side every step of the way. It feels a bit like an adventure now, don't you think?" she asked, carefully propping the tent up and taking a step or two back to see if it stayed up.

Hinanawi Tenshi

"Ah... I apologize, but I simply found myself here all of a sudden," Priscilla replied, her gaze downcast as the distinct sound of something reverberating through the air in front of them caused the group to freeze up. Just as a single life signature popped up on Nanoha's radar, a rift in the air in front of them that Tenshi knew far too well was opening up.

"Huh, so that youkai is here, too? Are you here to pick me up?" she asked defiantly, her sword at the ready. "Because I think I shall decline the offer right about now."

"Ms. Hinanawi, though I would love to throw you back into Gensokyo so your caretaker can talk your ear off, I believe that both of us have some matters to attend to," the person on the other side of the gap replied before she popped out of the hole in reality she had just made. "In particular, that young lady that you have in your custody right now. Could I ask if you could hand her over?"

"The answer should be obvious, you know," Tenshi replied, pointing the Sword of Hisou at Yukari's face. "You're going to have to fight us to get through to her."

"Then let us settle this the usual wa—ah, you have some companions with you. How abnormal. Well, it has been a while since I've entered a danmaku match against multiple opponents, but this shall do. Defeat me, and I shall withdraw. Is that not how this works?"

With a smile on her face, the gap youkai spread her arms as she flew up into the sky before a giant torrent of knives came raining down from the skies above. To add to the chaos, a few of the danmaku bullets she was shooting were being spontaneously teleported to and fro, causing the barrage to cover all variety of odd angles in their midst.

"I thought as much," Tenshi replied, a smile on her face as she let loose two keystones, which began to orbit around her and fire bullets in return as she began to wave through the hail of projectiles.

The others... Well, they could decide to fight or hide or something else. That wasn't in her jurisdiction to decide, after all.

The fire traveled right under the slime and, as expected, caused a large amount of disruption as it exploded underneath the thing. A good chunk of the sludge nearest the edge of its body was blown off in the direction of the two, while a large amount of what was splattered about elsewhere showed signs of much of it being simple random garbage that was scattered about. The slime itself, of course, had shrunk in size just a bit, though not enough to make any meaningful progress in getting rid of it. The explosion did cause its pace to halt for a bit, though, if that meant anything to the two attempting to stop its progress outright.

Leonardo Watch

"A place to eat, hm...? Well, there are a lot of places to eat at around here, but as for something for breakfast... Well, that might be a tad pricey without having your bank accounts set up..." Mr. Sharpton said to Meteora, stroking his chin for a few moments before Sanaki chimed in. "That might be for the better, all things considered. I tend to eat at some pricier places if I'm not eating at home, after all."

"I'll leave the matter to you, then," Leo responded to Klaus, nodding his head as he headed out of the building with the others with a purpose in mind. Knowing Klaus, it wouldn't take long for negotiations to finish without much problem, at least, so the possibility of getting to the workplace he was so used to by now wasn't unlikely in the least. On the other hand, though, he was still without a home...

Was crashing on the couch a viable option for the near future?

"E-erm... Anyways, right, food places. I think there were some near here," he began to say as he led the group down the winding streets. There were a few people milling about again despite the earlier incident, at least, so it seemed that the city was still as it always was... In a way.

"I guess the question right now, though, is what this Yuyuko looks like. Also what you'd all like to eat, I guess," he stated, glancing around the streets for either any places of note to eat or anyone that looked particularly out of place.

Alberich

The flaming sword attack had done something to it at least. If not wounding it, it had at least took off a chunk of it. Some of which was sent flying into the unlikely duo's position. The explosion itself had detonated under the creature thus keep colloteral damage to a minimum. The female knight was however angry, then again he figured that word would sum her up quite well.

Though she was correct that physical attacks would surely not do here, yet she wanted to get into close range with it? Even with his flaming sword this would be tricky. He couldn't use Nature Unity down here because it would cause the entire place to crumble in on them aswell.

"Like you said. Physical attacks will not hurt it. Don't you think I'll take precautions? Be silent and watch." He said the last part through gritted teeth. This woman was completely unbearable as far as he could tell. The team he had been assigned to had been horrible. One guy backstabbing them, another one abandoning them as soon as it begun and -this- woman.

He wondered silently if the other team was doing any better. They had that hotheaded midget and the flying psycho. Not to mention the damn girl who pointed her sword at him. Alberich had made his mind up. This creature before them. He was going to seal it away forever. He raised both his arms to the sides and his cosmo gathering, his hair beginning to slowly blow upwards revealing his both eyes.

"Amethyst sealed!" He yelled out and began to shoot alot of amethyst crystal shards towards the creature, either they would tear right through it to slice it into bits or form a crystalline shell around it, depending on how tough it's 'skin' was. Sealing it until Alberich himself would let it out or til his own demise. A death sentence for certain. The creature was surely a living thing and thus could have it's lifeforce drained away inside the crystal-like prison would it manage to build up around it.

Emilio

The group had come to a halt. Someone had appeared in front of them. Some girl with a weird hat. Emilio had his hand casually placed at his hip and tilted his head to the side on seeing her. "Such a scary face...heh.."

The girl was after the tall woman with the scythe. Sadly neither in the current company wanted to part with her. It was their mission to bring her to the commander. No matter what they called the army in this world. Without Wong giving directions it was either doing their work or to leave. But to where? New York? Well it would have to wait. The girl in front of them was going to fight them all. Were she that arrogant? Worse than Setsuna after Wong had granted him his powers.

"Give it a try..." He said to Yukari a psychotic grin forming on his face.

Emilio didn't wait for Yukari to get the high ground, he dashed up into the air aswell. Her attacks began to target them from all manner of angles. She fought just like Wong. His wings began to manifest.

Wong had also used weapons and teleportation for fighting. This was nothing new to Emilio. In fact it was something he was well prepared to combat. As the projectiles came for him he began to quickly dash through the air, dodging them at high speed and as he did he placed out an octagonal prism where he had previously hovered mid-air.

Then as he relocated himself quickly to a spot where he could attack Yukari without catching his allies in the attack itself. He spread his arms widely and yelled out. "Light!" He began to use his most powerful attack in his repertoire, his attack aptly named 'Archangel'.

A cross of light would appear behind him and then a one and a half metre wide beam of light would shoot out from him targetting Yukari. This beam would travel at a fast speed and anyone caught in it would be in serious trouble and pushed gradually slowly backwards, if caught in it she would be stuck until the beam would end. Even if one of his allies would get close enough to it he could turn the beam slightly to the left or right, or up and down to not hit them.

This attack was however heavily draining on his energy, consuming 80% of what he currently has stored.

Konpaku Youmu

As Youmu followed along, she nodded to herself. Really... Yuyuko could be in any one of these places. Ah, what if she was spending too much? Yuyuko-sama had quite a lot of money to spend, but at the same time she couldn't be sure how much she had. If she got carried away... Well, Youmu hoped she wouldn't. It was a silly thing to do, after all, if she ran out of money here there wouldn't be any way to actually pay for anything... Well, no, Youmu could provide some money but... Well, hopefully she wouldn't have to. Though ideally Youmu herself could take over cooking for Yuyuko. It wasn't easy all the time, but she had come to enjoy cooking for Yuyuko-sama.

When Leo questioned Yuyuko's appearance, Youmu took a moment to think. How would she describe Yuyuko-sama's appearance? Well, there were multiple ways, several of which the pale girl blushed slightly about and swiftly dismissed from her mind. No, she would stick to the most obvious, identifiable features that would be easily seen when looking for her.

"... Yuyuko-sama is... pale, more then me. She has pink, wavy hair down to her shoulders, and is most likely wearing a blue hat and frilled kimono," she began. "She's also taller then me, um..."

Youmu paused for a few moments. Yuyuko wasn't especially tall, but she was certainly taller then the diminutive half-phantom girl. Youmu couldn't recall exactly how much, however. Was it necessary to say? Should she? Maybe she should...

Vita

Vita wasn't entirely sure what was happening. One moment they were walking along, the next moment someone with some kind of spatial transport spell had appeared and was using a high-power barrage spell on them of some sort. Hinanawi seemed to know her, at the very least, and she also seemed to want the giant, scythe-wielding girl. In any case, that meant that they couldn't let her have her. As much as the hotheaded redhead felt she was more suited to attack, it wouldn't be a good idea to abandon the white-haired dragon girl until she'd dealt with the initial barrage of shots.

Holding Eisen out in front of her, a dome-like red barrier, the partial form of the defensive spell Panzerhindernis, quickly materialized, the barrage of shots striking the barrier with a shower of magical sparks but failing to pierce through it. Almost immediately as the initial shots dissipated, Vita canceled the barrier and squared up her feet, raising Eisen back over her shoulder almost immediately.

There was a mechanical whir as it loaded a cartridge.

"Kometfliegen!" intoned her armed device, the head growing larger once more as it generated a large orb of iron. When Vita brought her hammer down it sent the orb hurtling through the air with a crack, directly towards the strange woman emerging from the hole in the air. The diminutive girl quickly took to the air and followed her attack up, her hammer's head reducing back to normal in size as another catridge loaded and it began to change its form...

NANOHA TAKAMACHI

“Eh, is that... a friend of yours?” Nanoha asked Tenshi about the strange woman that just popped in the air in front of them. Something on her made Nanoha recall the time when she met Fate’s mother, Precia Testarossa, not only in looks but also in the aura of power that emanated from her. The young mage’s gut feeling was proven right as soon as the woman flew higher into the sky and began to shoot copious amounts of magic bullets at them.

“So many bullets at once, even Fate’s Phalanx can’t compare to something like this. It’s a totally different level of power than us Mid-style mages,” Nanoha thought as she alternated between dodging and blocking several of the shots. She noticed that they packed quite a punch but didn’t seem to be intent to kill their foe, just like her own magic. Since that was the case, there was only one thing that Nanoha needed to be sure of before engaging the woman.

“Priscila, take cover inside one of those buildings. Please rest assured that we won’t let them take you against your will,” she said before dashing high up in the air, leaving a trail of cherry blossom-colored feathers behind her.

“Sorry for taking so long! Nanoha Takamachi and Raising Heart Excelion, ready to join the fight!” Nanoha said with excitement evident in her voice. If their enemy wasn’t intent on killing them, she couldn’t be that bad of a person, in this case, Nanoha would fight her with everything she had.

“Here we go, Axel Shooter Vanishing Shift, Full Power...SHOOT!!!” the auburn-haired mage yelled as she unleashed her best multitarget spell, diving Axel Shooter’s powers into as many bullets as possible and cycling through as many cartridges as she needed to in order to assist Tenshi since Vita and Emilio seemed to have chosen to use more powerful blasts instead of artillery attacks.
METEORA ÖSTERREICH

“I’ll take on your word then,” Meteora replied to Leo regarding the food issue. It seemed like they had to take care of important issues now so Meteora was kinda glad that they were smack dab in the middle of the land of fast food. In fact, she could feel the drool pooling in her mouth at the thought of all kinds of junk food that she could have just by walking down the streets of the Big Apple.

“She also has a… very nice figure. Just like this, right?” Meteora asked Youmu while holding her phone so that the others could get a look at it. She tried to pick a picture from one of those image boards that was as little lewd as possible since she wasn’t sure what Youmu would do when she realized darkness that lurks in the abyss known as the internet.

“I don’t think that it’ll be that hard to find another Creation. People such as ourselves tend to draw a lot of attention. Unless Miss Yuyuko is in other country or something like this, you have nothing to worry,” Meteora said, trying to sound as reassuring as possible. “In fact, I think that, if her character profile is anything to go by, we may as well find her while we look for our lunch. Don’t you think so?”

"... Ah...?"

That... was a picture of Yuyuko-sama! Someone had drawn a picture of Yuyuko-sama! It was a rather playful-looking Yuyuko-sama, which... was typically the look Yuyuko-sama had anyway, but it wasn't just that. Her appearance, aside from perhaps some minor details, was almost spot-on! For a few moments, the silvery-haired half-phantom girl could only stare in mild shock at the site of the image of her mistress, drawn by someone from this world and posted on this world's internet... Were there more? Was this a common thing? She couldn't help but be curious!

"That's... that's Yuyuko-sama!" she exclaimed, "But why would someone know... how could someone in this world-... oh, I see."

She nodded to herself. Of course, in this world...

"This world's has entertainment that we star in, so because people appreciate it they're motivated to draw art of it," she continued, mostly to herself. It made sense, really. When people were inspired by something in her world, they would sometimes create works based on it. So there was no reason to assume that it wouldn't be the case here. That being said, it made the small girl feel at once curious and rather self-conscious. Did that mean people would draw art of her too...? She had to look it up now...

Of course, that would be for the future. Blushing a little bit when considering the comment on Yuyuko's figure, Youmu nodded to herself.

"In any case, you're probably right," she continued, "Yuyuko-sama is... Yuyuko-sama likes food. She likes food a lot."

Yuyuko-sama was an all-consuming black hole when it came to food, even.

"I think it would probably be one of the first things she would want to do in a new world. To see what the food is like."

— Tokyo —

It only took him a minute to finish the noodles and then he sat back against the wall, head falling forwards to rest on his chest. Within seconds his shoulders rose and fell in the slow cadence of sleep. By the time he appeared to have fallen asleep Ben had already reached the street outside, cloaked by illusion and invisible.

He wasn't worried about losing the three girls, as long as that one kept hold of that acorn he would be able to find wherever they happened to be. Breaking it was only necessary to gain his attention. There were four of them that had been brought to this world and he was interested in finding more.

The thought had crossed his mind that whatever even had prompted the use of this shelter hadn't been whatever he and his companions had done. The timing was too close so it followed that there was something else going on at the moment. What he would give to have Fiddler and that Deck of his to do a reading right now. He couldn't begin to guess if any ascendants were present here or, indeed, if the same houses he was familiar with were. Not that the last reading had done much at all to sooth anyones fears.

So he wandered, observing those walking and crafting himself an illusory appearance that blended in more effectively while maintaining the copy of him still in the shelter. A feat no more taxing than hiding an entire squad of marines.

— New York —

Ennis left the shop with sandwich in hand, chewing thoughtfully. So this world was all that different from her own, save the lack of anyone that she knew here. Well, that mean that a possible course of action was to arm herself. It wasn't as if there were any risk to her life but given that there had been a dragon attack earlier then she certainly needed something for the time being.

Wondering if the rougher areas of the city were the same as she knew, Ennis balled up the checkered paper that had wrapped the food and dropped it into a trash bin. THe homunculus then headed off to where she hoped she might find some criminals to relieve of their weapons.

— London —

She turned with a look of mild astonishment on her face. The appearance of attackers in broad daylight was only a mild surprise but somehow with such an array of creatures there were none that belonged to any race that she recognized. With a flash of light she stood there as Birdy Cephon, Federation officer.

She took off at a run, heels strike sparks from the street, charging down the nearest target and scything through it with a spinning kick. Normally lethal force was not something she employed but these things had already shown a disregard for civilian lives. With this small armoured person seemingly content with taking on the smaller monsters Bridy set her sights upon the largest.

Moving faster than even the quickest of them, she darted through the monsters and used a parked car as a launching point, delivering a flying punch to the face of a one eyed giant.

With Misaki going off to gather information, it was down to just her, Miku, and the instant ramen in her hands--which wasn't going to be much use until they could get some hot water to go with it. The tent seemed stable enough, and the brunette experimentally got inside... it didn't seem like it was going to collapse on her head now that her friend had finished propping it up. An adventure, huh...? well, it was more exotic than even most of the work that she did with S.O.N.G., since there were relatively few places in the world that could require them to change their base of operations.

Though there was something more important than that, a reason it definitely didn't feel like an adventure: "But you're here, Miku. The warm place by your side is all that it needs to be home."

NYC Streets With Her Homies

Safe to say, as Ms. Meteora showed the strange impage on this small...device of hers? That was an odd device, was it magic? Regardless, the picture of this "Yuyuko" being to herself and the others, Sanaki felt the woman's visage was rather...."tantalizing to the male eyes" if she had to choose words for it. Not very proper in regards to formal look she was used to, but at the same time seemed to have a sort of ethereal look about her and sense of elegance. Then again, it could just be the interpretation of an "artist" of sorts. Honestly, it was hard to wrap her mind around all of these odd machines, odd individuals, strange circumstances, and the like, but as an Empress she had to hold strong. This was an odd place to be sure, but its people were nonetheless in danger as her own had been. She couldn't sit by and let them suffer whilst she wallowed in her own far-from-home issues. Though the lack of her Pegasus knight retinue was getting slightly unnerving in a sense as well. What she'd give to have Sigurn or Tanith here at least, to be able to get a sky-borne view of things or at least have a familiar face for Goddess' sake! Even so, holding in with the regal side she had known all her life, Sanaki put out thoughts of potential pictures like that of her floating around in this world and threw a composed smile at Youmu.

"Well, that surely makes the matter a bit easier in finding her. Though if she truly enjoys eating so very much, perhaps it might be easier to find where she is than we first thought. Regardless, we shall continue to seek to find your liege, brave swordswoman!" Sanaki said, a composed and calming regality in her tone mixing with a sense of genuine optimism to add a positive note to her words, before looking over at Meteora once more, "Do you perhaps possess a spell by which we could make use of this picture to locate this individual? Or perhaps since the beroc of this world are so keen to notice those like unto us, there is some news of her already out there?"

There was not much the Empress could do directly other than be another set of eyes looking over the surroundings for the visage of this "Yuyuko", but even so she was trying to at least think of ideas for the group to use. Something, at least, that might help her keep attention on the current situation and not on herself. However, as one particular metal vehicle of sorts passed by, Sanaki began to cough from its exhaust.

She was glad Tellius did not have such nasty things that let out smoke like a sleeping dragon! It made the air hard to breathe and such, not very pleasant at all. She had been told on the way to the "UN Building" that these were called "cars", which was an odd name. K-Air-Z. Bleh. An odd beorc tongue as this was when she thought about it too hard earlier, she was glad she could speak and be understood at that.

Aile

Monster Mega Murder Mash of Many Moons

The car gave way to Birdy's might as she used it as a launch pad of sorts, the top crushing downwards and being luckily empty as well. Though this was not much as compared to what the Hinox she crashed into would be like. A beast able to rip up trees with a single bare hand without issue, the monster was not used to dealing with forces....far and above stronger than it was. As such, though it tried to cover its face from Birdy's punch, the Hinox's hand caved in instantly upon the blow making contact as Birdy's fist passed right through it and into the giant's one weakest point: the giant eye. As the eye caved in with a great spurt of purple gooey monster blood coming out, the Hinox was sent crashing back onto its back from the sheer force alone, lying motionless for a few distinct seconds before its body faded in the same "poofing" manner as the monster the armored girl had just killed before.

At least this mean the bodies wouldn't leave much of a mess themselves, right? Not that such was the main concern of the matter.

As for Aile herself, she whizzed over to the car, twin sabers swinging as she cleaved off three of the monsters' heads, spinning around to slash at the other two as they looked to her in surprise. After all, she wasn't as easy of a prey as these other humans were being right now.

As the bodies of the five monsters turned black and disappeared in a poof, Aile looked into the car, the frightened family huddeled inside looking at her with a mixture of tenacity and light fear. After all, she was yet another oddity to swoop in, albeit she had saved them. Reaching over, the father of the group was the first to open the car door, looking at the small armored girl as he built up some confidence.

"What are you?" the man seemed to ask, his admittedly strange accent not preventing Aile from understanding what he was saying.

"Someone here to help," the young Megaman (Megawoman?) responded, letting out a small sigh as she did so, before pointing at a nearby building, "If nothing else, you might be safe to get to a building to hide. Better than hiding in this car at least, where you are in the open."

The man looked at her for a second, before rapidly making up his mind as the danger of the other monsters nearby came to his mind. Nodding to Aile, he ushered his family to run for the building, kids and wife and baby held in the wife's arms and all. Aile watched for a second as they bolted to the building, making sure monsters did not get to them, but as soon as they got to saftey she changed a bit. Aile looked back to the rest of the scene with a light grimace.

Was she being too calm? Perhaps not. She could save what people she could on the way, and even near this car she saw a few bodies of those who had not made it out in time from the original rush of monsters. Arrows, spear wounds, heads....well, she quite frankly did not want to say. It was....harsh, but she feared what it would be where the epicenter of this menageries of a monster army was coming from. They weren't mechanical, which felt odd to her usual Mechanaloid and other enemy types back home, but at the same time she couldn't hold back. Her, and seemingly another woman as she looked over to watch a giant being downed in one punch, were the only lines of defense who seemed to be able to do anything.

That would have to make do.

"Aile, that family is ok, we need to move on," the voice of Model X said, attempting to gently but firmly coax the girl on despite the carnage, "The faster we take care of these enemies, the faster we can figure out what else is going on. The more we can save."

"Model X is right. For now stay in Model H form as well to see if you can find where the enemies are coming from. If there is a source, we might be able to take it down," the somewhat more serious but admittedly still caring voice of Model Z rang out in her ears, Aile snapping out of it for a moment before looking to the biometal on her waist and nodding.

This wasn't the time to wait around. Now was the time to fight. She had to kill as many of these things as possible, if she was to save the humans here from certain death. At least, save as many as could be saved at this point....but that was still something.

Igniting her sabers once more along with her wings, Aile zipped off once more, moving down the single street she was on, cutting off the heads of monsters as she whizzed by, sometimes darting back a bit to clean up those who had missed her initial barrage due to their sheer numbers. The small ones with one horn, and the tall lanky ones, were easy enough to cut through like paper. Ultimately they were using sticks and stones, whilst she and the other woman had access to far superior power to theirs. However, that didn't stop them from trying at least.

One of the horned-lion headed enemies with four hooved legs turned to look at her as she raced towards it, managing to fire three electricity-coated arrows at once at her as it took aim. She whizzed around the arrows, charging the enemy with a double saber stab at its chest. The beast pulled up a shield in front of itself as if to protect, but the energy sabers pierced right through like butter. The beast, a Lynel, roared aloud in pain, before lasheing at her with its other arm, knocking her to the side, before collapsing to the ground and dissipating.

Vital parts of the body had been stabbed, though Aile wondered what its might cold do if it had managed to lash at her more. That one blow wasn't super strong, but it hit hard for the beast's apparent, larger-than-adult-humans size. Enough to knock her to the side, but not more than that since it had hit her armor. Even the armor was intact. Aile walked over and snatched up her beam sabers, where they lie next to where the beast's body had been, before taking off once more.

Slashing smaller enemies and the lanky ones' heads off, having to adapt her movements to the faster moving lizard-looking ones, cutting the legs of the giants off to at least keep them on the ground, Aile sped through like a rocket through her own swathe of enemies. It was something, at least, but as much as she was used to killing swathes of lesser enemies she wondered if something more...serious lied at the center of this. And that was somewhat chilling, though not enough to unnerve the girl as her battle instincts kicked in.

Shokuhou Misaki

Once she had left the other two girl behind, Misaki let out a bit of a sigh as she began to run though the information that was being collected in her head. Multiple parts of the city under lockdown or being evacuated, people being moved to shelters or simply wandering about, law enforcement and even the occasional JSDF soldier milling about.

Needless to say, of course, that she was still left with a need for information. The best guess she could hazard for the moment was that whatever supernatural thing had dragged them here was also causing this massive upheaval in Tokyo, but given the differing accounts of what was happening where, the best she could surmise even on that front was that other people (things, maybe?) were popping up here, too. It lent a bit of credence to the idea of 'multiple universes' in this whole mess, at the very least, and would explain why Hibiki and that Ben person were acting as they did.

"Given those two girls' apparent sense of justice, I don't think that staying undercover is an option..." she mused to herself as she walked to a nearby convenience store. The place, as expected, was packed, and the young woman let out a bit of a sigh as she slyly fished for a remote from out of her bag.

No one was going to stand between her and a meal that wouldn't ruin her metabolism. Well, comparatively, at least.

With one click after another, the people in the store seemed to part way for her, and Misaki took all the pleasure in casually grabbing a salad (probably the best thing she could get here given the usual convenience store food) before casually walking over to pay. Of course, the people here wouldn't remember she had cut though; no, to them, she would have always been in the front of the line.

Oh, the joys of being able to use Mental Out.

With her newly-obtained food in hand (and a cup of boiling water for the brunette), Misaki calmly walked back to where the other two were, acting as if nothing at all unusual was to be noted in her actions. She was careful to erase any hint of her actions, of course—someone would tamper with the footage in the security cameras in the next few minutes or so, which left her without worry that someone would sniff her out.

Probably.

Miku let out a soft giggle as she crawled into the tent with Hibiki to check it out. It was fairly stable for her first time, all things considered, and for that she was grateful. She had to admit, though, that it was a bit small—the older man definitely wouldn't fit, though the three of them here would probably be fine—and she would probably have to apologize to him later for being so discourteous so as to not get something for him, at the very least.

"Yep. Don't worry, Hibiki; we'll definitely be side-by-side. No matter what happens, I won't let you be alone again."

Clutching her right hand ever so slightly, the young woman closed her eyes and nodded to herself before embracing Hibiki once more. The sound of a hand tapping against the tent caused her to pause for a moment before breaking away, though, and she turned to face the source of the noise.

"You two are in there, aren't you? Hibiki, I brought you some boiling water for those instant noodles, however much that's worth," Misaki stated from the other side of the fabric, calmly placing a cup down outside of the tent's entrance before sitting down on a nearby bench and starting to eat her own food. At the very least, they had somewhere to stay for the night, however uncomfortable it looked to be.

...

"...I'm going to be wishing I was back in Tokiwadai the next few days. Ugh, what a bother..."

Hinanawi Tenshi

As soon as the knives came flying down, Tenshi rushed into the fray, casually weaving through the hundreds of bullets that were being thrown her way. Learning to dodge was essential in Gensokyo, after all, and she was no exception to that rule... Even if she preferred to beat people over the head instead. The barrage seemed to intensify the closer she got, though, and after a little while Tenshi began to return fire. Yukari seemed to dodge her attacks just as easily, though, and the two seemed to be locked in a mini-dogfight before a giant while flash of light came through from the side.

"Oh. Right. It's not a duel," Tenshi reminded herself as she turned to look at Emilio, who was attempting to shoot down Yukari. It wasn't a Master Spark, of course, but it looked to be powerful enough.

The downside was, of course, that Yukari could simply slip off to the side and graze past the laser.

"Hey, Emilio! Funnel her movements! You leave even the slightest of openings, and she'll get away!" she cried out over the sound of danmaku and other assorted projectiles lighting up the sky before noticing that Nanoha had already taken that into account.

Perfect.

"Oh? Is this a case of 'accidental teamwork'?" Yukari asked casually, sliding between Nanoha's barrage and Emilio's laser before laughing. "But come now, I think that's not all you have to show, right?"

Almost as if on cue, though, Yukari was blindsided by Vita's attack, which had ended up hidden (completely by accident) by Emilio's laser beam. The hit wasn't direct, of course, but the barrage of knives stopped and seemed to dissipate into nothingness, and the youkai paused for a few seconds before a smile crept up her face. Knowing what was to come, Tenshi braced herself and readied her blade in anticipation for the following attack.

"Not bad. Test one: complete. Let's see how you fare against this."
With that, Yukari calmly flicked out a spellcard from her sleeve and called out its name, causing the world around them to feel hazy and inconsistent.

"Barrier 「Curse of Dreams and Reality」."

Almost as if in an incorporeal haze, the Yukari in front of the group seemed to fade in and out of reality before she finally began to attack. At once, she sent out a series of sigils that seemed to lock onto her opponents' current positions and stay there before firing a three-way stream of bullets around them. Another followed, and another, and before long it was as if all of the combatants were being chased down. All the while, though, Yukari continued to fire her own bullets, deceptively large but still more than enough of a threat to warrant dodging.

"This is... Rather unpleasant," Tenshi said, taking a deep breath to try and let her see clearly past all of this storm of bullets. While the bullets never left her focus as she remained half-aware of the trail the sigils were leaving, what was more problematic were that the bullets seemed to linger as they traveled towards the others. The inability to grasp a sense of exact direction wasn't helping either, and more than once the Celestial had come close to running into a bullet of her own accord. "She's really not holding back, huh?"

The amethyst shards that Alberich shot forth clearly embedded themselves into the monster's sludge—or, well, however cleanly they could be given the circumstances—and slowly began to burrow their wa deeper into the creature. Rather than stop it entirely, though, the crystals seemed to be gravitating towards the monster's core, separating it from the refuse it was leaving in its wake. Of course, said sludge was also the reason why the crystals themselves were taking so long to envelop the thing.

As the slime continues to move forth, though, it would be clear that a vast majority of its mass was being left behind, leaving what seemed to be a ball of... Something being weighed down by the amethyst weights at its back. Despite having no apparent limbs, the target continued to move forth, though now much less impeded by the sludge that had once enveloped it.

Leonardo Watch

Leo paused for a moment to look at the picture that Meteora had brought up on her phone before glancing at Youmu. Then back at the phone.
Then back to Youmu again.

"Um... Okay, I guess it shouldn't be too hard to find Yuyuko if she stands out like... That. If anything, the outfit she has is pretty different from a lot of the suits or casual clothing everyone else in the city wears," he stated as Sonic leaped up on his shoulder to take a closer look. "Um... Sonic, do you want to try looking for her? I'll get you double your usual share of food if you do."

The monkey seemed to nod enthusiastically at Leo's suggestion, and without a moment's delay, he shot off out of sight. With a pensive nod, Leo turned to Sanaki before thinking about her secondary suggestion before shaking his head.

"I don't think she'd make the news, if anything. You underestimate how weird this city could get, even before... Well, I guess the Great Collapse didn't happen, but even so," he stated before continuing to walk ahead. "It's not as if she'd be the cause of any major incidents, right?"

It was a few more minutes of walking later, though, before Sonic flew back towards the group, coming to a clean stop on Leo's shoulder before pointing him off to the northwest. His motions seemed somewhat urgent, but overall it really seemed to be Sonic doing as he usually did.

"Did you find her?" Leo asked, receiving a nod in return before the monkey leaped off his shoulder and ran ahead, jumping up and down to guide them as they moved along. "...Huh. So she was in the city, then. What are the odds?"

Their destination? A brunch buffet.

Were anyone to enter, of course, they would see the same woman who had been on Meteora's phone a few moments prior, happily trying a little bit of everything available... And then some.
Of, and the tower of plates stacked up on the table. That, too.

The criminal underbelly in Manhattan would not be apt to show itself during the early morning, if at all, but the same might not be said of the less-well-kept parts of the city. Organized crime, after all, thrived in the darkness, and so long as they could remain vigilant and blackmail any accidental witnesses, problems could remain... Nonexistent.

Of course, illegal shipments near the ocean were already unloaded by this time of day, and there were already some men milling about to protect the goods from being discovered. Even if daylight raids weren't all that common, it never hurt to be safe, especially given the insanity earlier that day.

Konpaku Youmu

As they walked, Youmu shook her head. There wasn't any reason she could think of that Yuyuko-sama would cause any sort of incident in these circumstances. Certainly, she had caused one in the past, but there was no reason for her to do such a thing here. Youmu was confident in her mistress, certain that she had no desire to cause any kind of trouble. For a few moments, she looked in the direction the strange little monkey had ran off. Could he really find Yuyuko-sama? If she stood out that much, she supposed it was relatively likely that would be the case. No-one here dressed like she was used to.

"I can't see why Yuyuko-sama would cause any sort of incident here," she began. While her mistress could be... silly, she had no doubt that her judgement when it came to these kinds of matters wouldn't lead to any sort of troublemaking. Perhaps to be a little clearer, Youmu felt confident that Yuyuko-sama's first act in a new world would be in sampling lots of new food. Not that she'd attempt to do anything bad anyway, but she wouldn't think about doing anything else until she had given the local cuisine a try.

And moments later...

"Ah?! You found her?!"

The only reason Youmu didn't immediately go darting off at top speed was because she didn't know where to go, and had to follow the monkey creature. And when they arrived...

"Yuyuko-sama!"

Immediately, the small, white-haired girl darted to her mistress's side, relief filling her heart as she did. To say she was happy was an understatement. She had been concerned that she wouldn't be able to find Yuyuko-sama at all, but now... well, that fear had been put to rest rather permanent. Youmu bowed when she reached Yuyuko's side.

"I apologize for being unable to accompany you, Yuyuko-sama. We were seperated in being taken here, er..." she glanced to the side. That tower of plates... it wasn't exactly surprising, but she had to wonder if the owners of the buffet were going to be happy about it... her genuine smile of joy became a somewhat more awkward one. "Ah-hah... you've been busy..."

Still... the silvery-haired half-phantom straightened. Even in spite of her apprehension about the reaction of the shop's owner, she was so relieved to be reunited with Yuyuko-sama...

"I'm glad to know I can continue to serve you even for as long as we're in this world."

Mordred

It had basically been luck on the part of that bastard that didn't cause a much larger explosion, and the blonde knight glared as he deployed his gem shards to attack. In a way that, naturally, prevented her from attempting to do just about anything. The more time she spent around Alberich the more she quite frankly hated him. The moment this was over Mordred was going to request never to be put on the same team as him again. Or she couldn't be blamed for what she was going to do.

That gem attack also didn't work, at least she assumed it didn't. Rather, it caused globs of goo to become detached from the foul-smelling creature, revealing... something deeper inside of it. There was a creature at the center of the goo? Or a core? Was that the vulnerable spot?

"If there's one thing that was useful for, it's showing us the real target!" Mordred commented, darting towards the blob as red mana crackled up the length of her blade. Her next, sweeping strike was meant to swat away some of the goo, her attacks now intended to dig through the disgusting blob to reach what was at its core.

NANOHA TAKAMACHI

"Test? What kind of test are you talking about, Miss... eh?" Nanoha said as the battle picked more and more momentum forcing her to abandon her position in favor of dodging—or grazing, like Tenshi— as many of the projectiles as possible. She couldn't believe that someone other than the original Reinforce could have this much power output on a casual level. In fact, the storm of daggers bore a terrible similarity to Reinforce's Blutiger Dolch. Could it be that the two of them were connected somehow?

"Wha—Gah!" Nanoha almost fainted when Yukari unleashed spell card. Her senses were more jammed than the first time she tried to fight against Fate. Thankfully, Nanoha's Barrier Jacket was able to dampen the effect just enough to allow her to continue fighting.

It was then that Yukari unleashed an attacked that looked and functioned slightly like Reinforce's Photon Lancer Genocide Shift. Were they really fighting a person that could pull all that level of power and quantity of spells? Nanoha hoped that it wasn't the truth. Even if it was, she wasn't going to give up while the others were fighting. As long as someone else's wellbeing was in her hands, Nanoha refused to give up.

"Our opponent is trying to keep us out of effective firing range with all these traps. We will have to get closer if we want to land at least one blow," Nanoha said to Raising Heart before flying high up in the sky—while dodging more projectiles and sigils— and doing an Immelman turn that took her even further away from the bullet hell, almost as if she were abandoning the battle.

"We cannot dodge like this forever. Raising Heart, try to pin down a possible location for our target based on her Area Search signature," Nanoha said once she was far away from the others. "If that's a test, we are going to give everything we have and ace it! A.C.S. engage!" She said as Raising Heart turned into its A.C.S. Mode, unleashing a charging enough magical energy to cause Nanoha's surroundings to rumble and shake.

"Strike Flame." Raising Heart announced, producing a spearhead made of concentrated magical power while the device's opposite end ignited like a rocket booster.

"Let's clear a path for the others to strike. A.C.S. Driver... Charge!" Nanoha unleashed her attack once she was aligned with the position that was most likely to be the one their target was occupying, charging ahead like a missile. The Strike Flame's barrier cut a swath through anything in between Nanoha and where she thought Yukari was.

If Nanoha's prediction was right, she would finish her attack with a point-blank Excelion Buster, if not she would be open for a counterattack.

METEORA ÖSTERREICH

"Well, this one was easier than I expected," Meteora said as she saw the problem literally vanish before her eyes. It seemed like not all of their stay in this world was going to be riddled with some manner of cliched drama scenario; which she was thankful for.

With one less thing to worry, Meteora stepped back from the others, her brow was furrowed as she observed the situation with a critical eye. While she could certainly respect someone that had as much as, or even more, appreciation for food than she did, she couldn't avoid thinking that their growing numbers were anything but a good sign.

If being like Altair and that Yukari person could cross into this world what would happen when a truly evil being of similar power did the same?

"Wait, cross into this world..." Meteora said, thinking out loud. A moment later, she stepped forward, positioning herself to the side of Youmu and Yuyuko before asking, "I'm sorry for interrupting your reunion, but I'd like to ask you something... Lady Yuyuko, right? Do you remember anything about what happened right before and after you found yourself here? By any chance did it involve that friend of yours, Miss Yukari, or was it just some sort of coincidence?" Meteora made a brief pause before adding, "By the way, what did you think of this place's meals?"

It wasn't difficult for him to find something interesting. What he found looked like outright war, the kind he was well versed in with clashes of magic and an apparent disregard for anyone but oneself. Being familiar with it didn't make him feel any more comfortable but it shouldn't be hard for him to avoid becoming a target.

Ben hid himself under illusion before entering the area, tucking into a doorway to observe. carefully he selected a handful of warrens to have at the ready in case things went badly.

Ennis found herself at the container yard in Brooklynn, where the events of earlier were just some astounding news and rumours. She didn't find it hard to find a way over the fence, behind one of the warehouses and out of sight where some individuals were loading packages and boxes into a delivery style truck.

Unfortunately she wasn't able to keep the weapon she had on her going into the UN meeting and that left here with little to defend herself. Fortunately with the daylight nature of what they were doing these criminals would be lightly armed as well.

Ennis ducked into the warehouse and returned a moment later wearing a hard hat and bright reflective vest. She was also driving a forklift at full speed to ram into the truck.

Even with the big guy down, there was still a lot of these monsters to take care of. None of them seemed to be any threat to here but there was a lot. Too many to take by hand. Her face twisted in to a savage, joyful grin as she grabbed a streetlight and tore it from the ground. She swung into the densest group she could find, trying to take down as many as she could before it inevitably broke.

It did, just before she came up to one of the large centaur things. It swung at her and she ducked, caught flat footed and without a weapon to combat her foes superior reach. It wielded a wicked looking sword that it swung again, forcing her to step back out of its arc. Birdy darted in to use her superior speed, attacking the arm that held the blade to take the weapon for herself.

A purpose made weapon should serve better than something scavenged and she grabbed the hilt with both hands, spinning around and taking the things head from its shoulders.

Vita

Hah! She'd hit her! ... Unfortunately, it seemed like it wasn't hard enough. That was fairly infuriating, but Vita reminded herself that next time she would simply have to make it count, and knock the blonde woman right out of the sky. The way she acted just ticked the redheaded girl off, even without considering what she was trying to do!

But now... everything felt strange and hazy, like she was dizzy, and it was all... it made it harder to focus on dodging that barrage. What kind of barrage spell was this? Even knowing that they faced an enemy from another world, it was strange. Really, this confusing attack was making Vita more and more riled up as she flew through the air, followed by the blue bullets as the green bullets seemed to fly in all directions. Very quickly, she had lost track of where she was and what direction she was going in. The entire world seemed to have turned upside-down and inside-out.

That was enough. Taking note of where the blonde woman seemed to be, Vita suddenly turned in place, raising Eisen back.

"Eisen!"

Another cartridge loaded.

"Raketenhammer!" declared the armed device, its shape altering once more, a spike emerging from the tip as the rockets formed and roared to life at the back. Immediately, it sent the small redhead into a whirling charge towards the woman, the hammer clearing her path of bullets as she moved.

Alberich

He rested his sword on his shoulder after his attack had finished. It was utterly unappeasing to approach the thing up close so why not leave it in the knight's own hands to get herself killed. Taking the time to ponder on who else could have gotten into the world. There was the knight, the idiot mothman who had gotten disposed of. The useless girl who came with them but didn't do anything to assist. Though he couldn't blame her for that.

If you are weak then there is no use getting yourself killed. Then there was the other group with the crazies. The hovering psycho and the crazied berserk chibi girl. Then that arrogant girl with the flaming sword. Also that other person who the chibi was talking to through some device. So a total of eight? That was highly disappointing as none of them were a promising ally. Either they were completely unreasonable, crazy or focused on doing 'good'.

Maybe there was someone still out there who could be worthy to ally with while he was here. Someone with actual brains or at least someone who could obey simple commands.

I guess I just have to bide my time until something worth my time comes along. The armorclad god warrior thought to himself.

Emilio

"Eh? That's quite the impressive thing... Heh heh."

Their opponent fought similar to that of Wong. He knew this type of fighting quite well indeed. The voice of Tenshi caught his attention and he gave her an a slightly sinister grin as he charged back some of his lost energy for just a brief moment.

"Hurry up and die already!" Emilio put his hands together and shot a ray of light into the octagonal prism he had placed before, which in turn created multiple rays of light themselves in eight different directions, carving through some of the enemy projectiles, giving some openings here and there for himself or others to get through.

Two of the rays however went directly towards Yukari, the second ray following just right behind the first one. As soon as he had fired the ray into the prism he had taken flight himself, straight towards Yukari following the rays which travelled at a higher velocity

Tachibana Hibiki

Most people might have been embarrassed to have someone else walk in on them, even if it was simply a matter of being hugged--the impression it gave was considerably less wholesome when you were in bed, in pyjamas. Hibiki? Well, after seeming confused for a split-second, the brunette disentangled herself from her friend and emerged from the tent; trying to do anything with boiling water inside would probably just get cheap flavourings-heavy soup spilled over everything. And then it would smell all night and beyond...

It was nice of Misaki to have gotten the hot water, though it was a bit of shame it was only the one cup... though it seemed like a pretty large one, so if she poured it carefully, then there'd be one for her and one for Miku. Tomorrow, they could focus on a way to get more food or... at least more hot water. Everything would be alright.

And she could at least pour water without the food coming out worse.

The Yuyuko Devastation Zone: aka "A Ransacked Brunch Buffet"

Well, that boy's pet seemed to move at great speeds, faster than she'd even seen a cat laguz move at full speed. Frightening were that thing an enemy, but truly in this case just very useful for finding their quarry and helping to avoid having to deepen the search any more. As they walked into the brunch buffet, Sanaki was left actually somewhat visibly surprised at seeing just how much this "Yuyuko" was eating. Plates stacked higher than she had ever seen, big enough to maybe stick the goddess in if she were to make a joking comparison of size. It was almost like a couple of laguz had come into a beorc inn and ate most of the stock or something. She had expected something more like a proper lady of some sort or such a thing, but at the same time she wasn't as surprised as she could have been considering the odd circumstances they were all in right now. Odd circumstances indeed.

However, surprise shifted into a composed smile as she watched the swordswoman quickly hasten over to her lord's side. Haha, proper or not this Yuyuko seemed to have somehow gained the loyalty of a good warrior. Albeit she got the feeling this retainer's role might be including "babysitter" to an extent, though perhaps this was a more positive variation of that as compared to the nobles of her nation and those who served them. Speaking of which, was whatever doing this just pulling them all in at the latest point in their lives? Could it perhaps affect time as well, such as pulling up those from her nation's past or otherwise as well? Traitorous nobles, or the undead troops from Ashera's Tower during the time the goddess had turned most the continent to stone even? Perhaps Mad King Ashnard? That would be terrifying to imagine coming here, and that would be without divine weapons for facing them down effectively. At least, unless this crowd of individuals had the capabilities to overcome that, which was certainly possible considering how they had handled two wyverns. That aside, she wanted to be positive at this time.

Though as she continued to listen, Ms. Meteora seemed to approach this Yuyuko with questions, trying to see if she had any idea of how she had been brought to this world and if it had also involved what Sanaki assumed as the one who had seemingly opened up holes in the world and spoke to the swordswoman during the UN meeting. The Empress silently nodded lightly to herself in agreement with those questions, though she was not sure if this woman would have answers or not right now. As much as she wanted to be positive in all of this, handling this overall situation still bore on her mind in its gravity and potential danger to this world....and potentially others for all she knew. This would perhaps be a very long while indeed with all of this, and especially if more individuals continued to appear. Two monsters alone were a certain level of powerful, but what if a truly vile person came into this world too that had even greater power? It felt like a nightmare of sorts, though in truth this all was the reality lying before herself and the others that needed to be faced.

Though seeing a reuniting of others also reminded her of home a bit as well. Not exactly something that helped to hold back the tide of any negative feelings she had since arriving here. Away from her home, her nation, her world, Tanith and Sigrun, ah....but she had to hold strong still. Not until the crisis was over. She was an empress, and would need to maintain this statue if she was to potentially be of use to those here. And what use would a young girl crying over homesickness be if she allowed such things to show through in some manner? Nothing...

Aile

Godzilla's Tokyo 2.0

A great roar, or rather set of them, seemed to fill the smoke and screaming filled air as a few helicopters flew overhead in the direction Aile and even Birdy seemed to be moving in. Even as the Lynel that Birdy had beheaded collapsed into darkness that disappeared, and the group she has smashed with the light post dissipated as well after being killed, even as Aile tried to cut a swath through the crowd as the sounds of deploying military arrived around the perimeter of the area and military craft were being employed, it was obvious that something was here. Something big, and multiple instances of it from the sounds of it. And as the two ladies would make their way towards the epicenter, an even more terrible scene would be awaiting them.

-were moving about a space of London that was, by now, a large damage crater that had become the epicenter of the monster invasion here. Buildings had been knocked over, torn into and collapsing on top of them without issue as debris littered the ground. Streets and where things used to stand were nearly indistinguishable from the utter devastation wrought upon the area, with a few of the smaller monsters also hanging around as well to try to use debris to fortify themselves. Albeit, said structures were mainly piles and large scraps of metal being applied to form what would be flimsy fodder for the two heroines. However, most importantly was a black misty mass sitting in the center of the area, from which at times seemed to come more of the little monsters.

Other smaller monsters were fighting off soldiers, primarily a formerly large a group that had been sent into the center whilst others secured the perimeter to prevent the spread of the monsters. However, with the great numbers of enemies on smaller scale, and the larger ones seeming to soak up the bullets and ammunition of the soldiers on their hides like it was literally nothing of concern as they continued to spread out from the misty mass towards the soldiers and other buildings. Left alone thus far, they had already devastated a large amount of physical space. Left even longer than this, they would perhaps be able to level the city to the ground.

On a positive note, the Lynel's shield also sat there on the ground in front of Birdy, if that could ever be of use.

Shokuhou Misaki

The blonde esper continued to quietly eat her meal for the night, quietly waiting off to the side for that scout of hers to report back with any new information. A small net, of course, wouldn't return much, but that simply meant that she'd just have to worm her way deeper into this whole state of affairs.

Via proxy, of course. She, of all people, knew how utterly suicidal it was to attempt to dive into a mess like this without ample barriers to hide behind, and that was all the more important considering how her abilities seemed to...

Well, not be completely usable here. It wasn't like with that certain spiky-haired young man, where the abilities were negated, after all; in the end, all it really meant was that she needed better proxies. Preferably ones she could assume direct control of, obviously, but the likelihood of any of those appearing was more a coin toss than anything else.

Just as she began to finish her meal, though, the person she had... "Chosen" to act as her eyes and ears sent some more intriguing news to her. Aside from an absurd lightshow that she was inclined to stay as far away from as possible, the news of more incidents happening around the Ikebukuroko area—where that Miku girl had come from earlier, no less—seemed to point to that being a possible place of interest. The talk of a giant wolf and black bike... While sending in her scout to go poke around the area would likely get them outed fairly fast, it didn't seem as if it'd be too difficult to go and explore the situation in person.

Maybe not tonight, though; sooner or later, it'd become late, and it'd be much easier to slip around in the morning than it would be in the middle of the day (where she assumed most of the people in this place would end up waking up).

With that in mind, Misaki finished whatever she had left in front of her and, with a single graceful movement, threw the container into the garbage before walking back over to the other two near the tent. They seemed to be making full use of the water the had gotten, at least.

"I'm going to go rest now, you two. As much as I don't like the idea of walking headfirst into danger, I don't think I have much of a choice... So tomorrow, we're going to be checking out Ikebukuro. I know that you just came from there from something... Dangerous, I presume, but we probably won't learn anything from loitering around."

With that, the young woman quietly slipped into the tent and attempted to lie down.

"This... Is far more uncomfortable than I expected it to be."

Miku looked at Misaki for a moment as she entered the tent before sighing, nervously rubbing her hands together as she took those half-commands into her mind. She had heard nothing other than rumors about what had been there, but 'giant wolf' and 'black bike' were ominous regardless of how it was stated. But now that she knew Hibiki was here, even that didn't seem as dangerous.
...
No, well, it still looked and sounded fairly dangerous, but at the very least with Hibiki there it wasn't as if it would be impossible for them to overcome whatever stood in their way.

"Hibiki... Are we going to go with Misaki tomorrow? The buildings in the area seemed to be getting damaged even as I was leaving with the rest of those policemen earlier, and it didn't look like they'd stop any time soon..." she trailed off before looking at her companion straight in the eyes. "I know that you have your Gear to help you fight, but please, if you're going to go, don't push yourself too hard."

Hinanawi Tenshi

"Hm? None of your usual bravado, Ms. Hinanawi? It's rather unlike you to be so cowardly," Yukari taunted, smirking at the Celestial as she continued to let loose a barrage of bullets at her opponents. "Airsick, maybe?"

The blue-haired young woman simply glared back in return as she focused wholeheartedly on dodging the incoming bullets, trying her hardest to judge where the heck everything was coming from as she moved about. it wouldn't be an understatement to say that she'd taken multiple blows all across the body, but luckily for her it wasn't as if they had worn her down any. A benefit to all of this insanity, at the very least, was that her sense of pain seemed to be dulled... If only a little.

Yukari smiled for a moment as she watched the overenthusiastic young lady with the hammer rush after for a follow-up attack, only to smile in return and casually slip off to the side to dodge the blow.

"Haven't you figured out that your eyes will betray you?" she asked, smiling as she fired a few barrages of bullets at her back before the rays of light from the other side of the fight caught her eye. It took only a moment for Yukari to spin around and barely dive out of the way of the two that were targeted at her. Her dress was a bit worse for the wear after the fact, but that could be repaired later. What "mistake" she had, made, though, was that she had allowed Nanoha to launch an attack straight at her at point blank.

"Hmph. Not so different from that little witch, then?" she asked as she dodged to the side in attempt to avoid the giant laser of energy that had been fired right in front of her. Said attempt, of course, only half-worked; unlike the Master Spark that she had become somewhat used to seeing, this blast was a tad larger than expected, which in turn caused Yukari to immediately cancel her attack and pull out another Spellcard to block.

"「Quadruple Barrier」!"

Just as the blast ran right through the left side of the youkai's body, a multi-layered array of magical circles appeared and temporarily put some space between the two. The recoil, of course, pushed her a fair deal back, and though she didn't seem anywhere near defeated, her clothes seemed to say otherwise.

"Ah... Careless, careless. It's been a while since I'd had to deal with that degree of firepower," she chastised herself before smiling at Nanoha. "Well done. Of course, this is only the introductory course. You can ask that hot-headed child over there about what's in store, but I think we should conclude our match for tonight with this next attack."

With that comment, the youkai pulled one more card out of her sleeve as the bullets lingering from her earlier attacks seemed to fade away into the dark of night.

"Think of this as... 'Training', though I am certainly not one to ask for much of that. Boundary 「Balance of Motion and Stillness」."

At once, the sounds of the night seemed to disappear, as did every other apparent sound that was being made. The manipulation of the senses of all the combatants were gone, of course, but when Tenshi attempted to speak, not a noise came out. When she swung her blade, not even the sound of the wind being cut was there.

"Come now, don't stop moving. Or do. Hopefully, you know how to fly without knowing what may lie behind," Yukari's voice echoed through the sky as she began to fire out magic circles behind each of the combatants, occasionally slipping into and out of her gaps to fire another blast at someone else. "You can't hope to win if you stay in place forever, you know."

The second that Mordred's blade met the creature's core, a white light seemed to break out of the sludge, sending out a shockwave that blew all the remaining detritus (crystals included) away from itself. That, in turn, revealed the item at the core of it all—a large glowing ball of what seemed to be concentrated energy, surrounded by high-pressure water that seemed to continually spin around it. As soon as the sludge was clear, the ball paused in place for a moment, the water around itself spinning around faster and faster until it felt as if the winds could reach the other side of the sewer. In an instant, the ball seemed to turn around, revealing a pair of glowing white eyes on the creature, before it seemed to look around for a moment. The apparent lack of sludge on its body now seemed to be acknowledged, but instead of opting to go further into the sewers, the thing blasted the sludge-crystal mixture on the ground with a whip of howling wind before blasting its way through the ground above its head. In a manner not unlike a drill, the ball began to bore through the ground, and it didn't take long before it had carved its way back to the surface.

It took a moment for it to find its bearings, of course, but after a few seconds of looking around, the ball began to hover off towards the city's center through the streets. Despite being faster than it had been whilst covered in muck, the object still seemed to be moving at a relatively slow pace as it moved on ahead.

Maybe that had something to do with the crystal fragments that had, for some reason or another, managed to remain attached to its body and were slowly growing. The pressurized water was constantly chopping off anything that grew past a certain point, of course, but the trail it left behind would be quite obvious to follow.

Leonardo Watch

"Ah! Youmu! You're here, too?" the woman at the table asked as the person in question came over, clapping her hands together as she turned to look. "Ah, but first, you should take a seat and eat, no? It's not often that we get to visit anything like a restaurant, after all."

The forced smile on the face of the waiter who was catering to the ghost at the table seemed to be screaming for help on the inside, but the job that he was left to do had not changed a bit, and so he offered the swordswoman, Sanaki, and Meteora a seat at a nearby table (given the dangerous stack of plates that was being dismantled by some of the other staff) before returning to take even more of Yuyuko's orders.

"Mmm... Oh, right, your question! Sorry, I was just wondering to myself if I had tried everything on the menu yet. Let's see..." the woman wondered for a moment before turning towards Meteora and nodding. "Hm... Oh, right, right! Yukari said that she had some things to do and invited me out for a meal, but all of a sudden she disappeared in the middle of our walk around town! So I took it on myself to explore a little more around here, and before long I found myself here. As for the food... Hm... I can't say it's the best I've had, but the novelty of a place offering all that you can eat certainly piqued my interest~!"

With a smile, Yuyuko turned to look at the rest of the group before looking at Youmu with a quizzical look.

"Actually, Youmu, how did you get here? And who are these people that you've brought along? Don't tell me—did you make some new friends this morning?" she asked, a smile on her face as she cleaned up her mouth with a napkin.

Leo simply gave an awkward stare towards the group before taking a seat as well, quietly thumbing through his wallet to make sure he had enough money to pay for all of... That. It was a buffet, so there was obviously a set price, but...

Well, hopefully the people from the UN could help him foot the bill or something later...
Maybe Meteora or Klaus had some cash to spare?

The moment that some of the men caught a glimpse of a forklift running full speed ahead at their truck, the firearms that they held in hand were pointed at the vehicle's driver in haste. When they saw it wasn't going to stop any time soon, of course, there was a bit of hesitation before one of the "newer" members of the group let his trigger finger get the best of him. Before anyone else in the entourage could chastise him, though, the sudden impact of that ton of metal crashing into their transport caused the truck's container to open up, revealing the goods inside.

"Ugh... You idiot! Din't you realize shooting someone ain't gonna make 'em stop any faster?" one of the men shouted, slapping the culprit upside the head before slowly looking over to the wreckage. "You know how much time body disposal takes? Coverup is always annoying..."
