Shokuhou Misaki

Misaki stared blankly at the other girl as she rushed forward at the animal, trying to contemplate if she was too brave or too foolish for her own good. The answer, it seemed, was neither—in an instant, said girl had changed into a different (and more revealing) outfit before punching through the creature. The subsequent splatter of flesh and blood that came about as a result caused Misaki to duck back out of the alleyway to dodge the mess, only to peek back in a few moments later to see that the man that the thing had been eating a few moments ago was now perfectly uninjured.

There were questions to be asked, of course, but at the moment the spontaneous healing was less of an oddity than the spontaneous music number. There were a lot of things that could have been done, but...

"Singing? You—Really? A song?" she asked incredulously, trying to wrap her head around such a thing before sighing and checking the status of the man who was now covered in the blood and guts of the bird thing from earlier. "Hm... Well, his vitals seem to have stabilized. Not going to wake him up, though—it'd probably cause more harm than not."

The animals that were flying above head, though, immediately began to fly away once they saw that their feasting comrade had not only been blown to bits, but also because the one who had done so was now chasing after them like a bat out of hell.

Hinanawi Tenshi

Once the rest of the group arrived, Tenshi let her shoulders slacken a little before glancing around a bit more. The sheer amount of ash in the area was nothing but disconcerting, but that was only really painful combined with the lack of ambient noise, If anything, it was a good thing that they cleared out the area once they had discovered this scene, but...

"Mmm... Killed? As much as I don't like to admit it, that feels like the only answer here," she sighed, glancing around warily before turning to the two newcomers. "You two must be... Nanoha and Vita, no? My name is Tenshi. Hinanawi Tenshi. As for any sort of tracking... I'm sorry to say that you're asking the wrong person for that."

Nanoha's scan, however, would immediately pick up signs of movement—not of any life, obviously, but movement nonetheless. There were a few dots on the map for the moment, but the dots soon began to surround their current location and increase in density as they drew closer. For the moment, they remained out of sigh, but it was very clear that something was after them.

With everyone else having left the vehicle, the private poked her head out of the truck to look around at the area a bit more. The smell was multiple times as unbearable outside the vehicle as it was inside, and it didn't take long for her to regret her decision and roll the window back up.

"Well, I'll be waiting here for you four to explore the place. I don't want to deal with that stench at all right now," she said through the radio, shaking her head in disapproval.

The ooze, of course, was giving off a very powerful magical residue, and the trail only seemed to grow stronger the closer to the manhole it got—assuming anyone could sense it, of course.

Leonardo Watch

"E-eh? Ride? I mean, uh... If you say so, Ms. Konpaku," Leo said, carefully trying to figure out a way to get a hold of the young woman's ghost half before deciding that a straight hug was the best option. Just as it looked, the thing was fairly soft and malleable, but at least it wasn't hard to get a half-decent grip on the thing.

"Okay, I'm ready to go whenever you are!"

The pair of wyverns in the middle of Manhattan continued to flail about, and though one was now being bashed around by weapons of blood and lightning from the heavens, the other was seeing significantly less attention as it took to the skies. Seeing its mate being attacked, the beast roared and, deciding against attacking the large man in front of them, chose to attack the more-apparently dangerous young child that had fired the lightning just moments ago.
The other one, of course, took a few moments to recover from the shock it had just received before screeching and taking to the skies. Flying over the group's head, the wyvern quickly spat out fireballs at the large man (and, by proxy, the young woman near him) before soaring down in an attempt to pin him down and tear at him.

Konpaku Youmu

Youmu nodded swiftly to the boy, and then leapt out the window. However, she didn't fall, like some might have expected. Instead, she rocketed through the air, her phantom half following her at an equal pace, some distance behind her. Of course, moments later she felt an uncomfortable pressure. Leo had evidently started to grip her phantom half more tightly, and after a moment she looked back over her shoulder.

"I told you not to grip too tightly!" Youmu called, before putting on another burst of speed. There they were! One of the dragons had taken to the air, while another had remained on the ground, firing balls of intense towards a man a woman, as the dragon in the air swooped towards a young girl. The man looked as if he could handle himself, and the woman seemed potentially more capable, but the girl seemed unlikely to be able to evade. Even with her speed, it would be difficult to get all of them of them... so the small, white-haired girl simply hoped that her assessment of the three people in direct danger was correct.

Rocketing downwards, the air rushing around her, Youmu outstretched her hands and wrapped them around the girl, lifting her off the ground as she hurtled out of the way of the swooping talons, holding her tightly against her body before slowing, spinning, and skidding across the ground and coming to a halt. Moments later, her phantom half came to a halt nearby and gently deposited Leonardo on the ground.

Getting out of the vehicle was barely more pleasant than the journey with an ill-fitting seatbelt had been, due to the atrocious stench, the trail of magical ooze, and the promise of having to descend into sewers. All of which promised a pretty clear thing to the vampire--one way or another, it seemed likely that if she went down there, she'd end up losing her clothes; maybe not immediately, but definitely by the time she got back out. It simply wasn't an option until she had replacements.

Magical slime also tended to be highly resistant to being attacked with your bare hands, so without access to her ice spells--which would nullify the threat entirely--there was nothing for her down there except maybe to offer some advice. It would be a waste when she could be stocking her wardrobe right now.

"As it stands, I think you should be more than capable of handling this without me," she said, turning away from the manhole and walking back the way they'd come--it'd be easier to get somewhere from a main road--"Call me if you have questions about something magical."

"You won't get away that easily..." Hibiki said, looking at the rapidly escaping birds and crouching to jump. That wasn't all--springs on the back of her legs drew back... and back... the result being less a jump and more a brunette catapulted skywards, even going above the birds and, normally, on a course to miss the lot of them. When you could correct your descent with rockets, however, there wasn't much that you could entirely miss.

She couldn't easily repeat the initial jump like this, but it wasn't like she needed to. The closest of the skyborne creatures found its head caved in by one heavy kick, and the same kick acted to propel her over to the next target. For birds of any sort, the short, erratic leaps were hardly something that they could be expected to correct for.

Of course, by the time they were all brought down by foot or fist, there'd be rather a lot of bloody bodies falling over Tokyo...

... lightning? It was no mere normal electricity, so it wasn't K.K.--which could only mean that there were other people pulled here as well beyond just him, perhaps even with no connection to Hellsalem's Lot. These creatures, for all that they might have passed unnoticed in the city at times, were far too normal looking for such a thing. Particularly when almost anything of that ilk would likely be one of Femt's creations.

With one of the wyverns flying off to attack the girl behind the lightning, it was his responsibility to--

Throw up another shield to absorb the attacks coming his way, absorbing the fire and steadfastly not budging as it continued its attack. Still, whilst it was flailing like this, there was no good moment to throw in a good counterattack, not until he could get an idea of what the other sudden combatants were able to do. A little difficult with half of his field of vision obscured by a cross, but the redhead could manage.

It seemed like he wasn't the only one here from Hellsalem's Lot.

"You're here too, Leo? Have you seen anyone else?"

Nanoha's senses shifted into battle mode as soon as the Area Search returned an alarming result. "We are surrounded by multiple unknown beings," she said alerted, "they don't have any vital signs and don't seem of magical origin either. Keep your heads up everyone!"

"Raising Heart, Excelion Mode! A.C.S. Open!" Nanoha called her Device, changing it to Excelion Mode and activating the Accelerated Charge System, as she moved to cover Vita's back. Since she couldn't be sure whether or not a battle would happen in a matter of seconds, being ready was the most advisable course of action. As soon as she was in position, Nanoha called out as loud as she could, "If there's anyone there, please come out! We are here on behalf of the Japanese Government. We'd like to resolve this incident peacefully, if possible! Just listen to us!"

The unknown targets' reaction would determine whether Nanoha's next action would be Bombarding them with an Excelion Buster or lowering Raising Heart.
Meteora Österreich

"Alright so let us—" Meteora didn't even have the chance to explain her plan to the other mage before the smallish girl bolted outdoors. The silver-haired mage took advantage of the commotion and sneaked her way to the shop's back door, be sure to disable any security cameras in her way. A brief moment later, Meteora would shoot out from a nearby alley, wearing her Sage outfit (with her carefully face concealed by her hood). She came out right in time to watch as a whole the whole situation got more and more chaotic, with more Creations joining the battle against the wyverns.

Meteora didn't have much time to assess the whole situation. Her reflexes made her move in the path of one of the wyverns, casting a shield wide enough to protect not only a feral looking man and a redheaded woman but also angle it so that any rebounded shots would go straight back at their origin.

"I know this might sound crazy at first, but listen to me," Meteora said to the nearby Creations, "this is not the world any of you know. It's a long story but I have been in a similar situation in the past. After we are done here I can explain everything better. For the time being, we need to make sure that no one is hurt by these beasts. If you have any ability that may help in this case, please, make use of it."

"Are you alright?" Meteora asked Sanaki while keeping up the defensive effort, replacing her shields as needed to cover the others. "Stay behind me, my magic has no offensive value, but I can provide any support you may need," she added, flying toward Sanaki and extending her hand to help the blue-haired girl stand.

— Tokyo —

Ben Adaephon Delat straightened from his work, still cloaked by his illusions. The man wouldn't wake for some time, hours or days even. He would be weak for days from the healing. He wasn't sure why he'd done it, Quick Ben wasn't know for helping strangers out of the blue but simply being in the right place he'd felt compelled, if only to ease the mind of his current companion.

Now he turned his gaze to the sky and summoned Serc, lifting himself into the air until his could see clearly over the tops of buildings. Below him the illusory copy of him broke apart into a cloud of inky black streamers that faded and disappeared. Concentrating fully now he felt his way through the air currents to where the beating of distant wings disturbed it.

Some were already down but a few were left. Enough to make the effort worth it. He took hold of the entire mass of air and hammered it towards the ground as he gave chase. The high mage alighted onto the ground nearby and gestured again with perhaps a slight look of manic glee in his eyes. Streaks of scarlet lightning burst upwards through the street, heaving the ground momentarily before collapsing it inwards and burying the remains of the unfortunate creatures.

— NYC Streets —

Ennis ducked behind the shield thrown up by the rather large... man? Not that it was entirely necessary to protect her but the gesture was appreciated. It gave her a moment to glance around, spotting the decimated military roadblock and its scattered soldiers.

She ran over, heedless of what else might be going on and picked up a rifle, scavenging a pair of extra magazine from the area. Given their poor track record thus far she simply shouldered the weapon, tracking the targets and waiting for an opening.

They were being surrounded, huh? Probably by whatever had left what she could assume was the remnants of an explosion of some kind. Vita raised Eisen, narrowing her eyes. The moment she saw one of these unknown enemies, she was going to crush it into the floor until there was nothing left. But at the moment, all there was to do was await the appearance of the enemies. As much as the fiery-tempered redheaded girl would like to simply charge in and start destroying them, she had to acknowledge the fact that she needed to reduce the amount of collateral damage, if possible. So that meant waiting.

Irritatingly enough.

New York, New York; Manhattan Area; On the Street Near Starbucks

Ravioli, Ravioli, they saved the long-sleeves loli!

Being suddenly snatched from swooping talons, Sanaki let out a light gasp as she was taken to the side tightly against another's body. Surely it helped her avoid the sure danger that had approached her with lethal intent, since only one wyvern was apparently being kept occupied at the moment, but at the same time it had surprised her more than the wyvern charging her. Really, the experience of going to fight and help kill the goddess had done anything, it had slightly numbed her exposure to things like wyverns.....and fighting a giant flying black dragon blessed by the goddess herself, but that was a far call from these things. For one thing, the king of Goldoa was clearly more powerful than this abomination, not that this sort of dragon was easy to face from what she had just seen. However, in the end the fact remained that one bolting had done very little, albeit it had been a "test shot" to see if both her tomes worked here and test the vitality of these beasts.

This being noted, the other mage had come out in some sort of sage-like outfit, and her tome apparently contained a nice shielding spell. Though if she were from another world, might this tome contain more than one spell as compared to Sanaki's own tomes? Fascinating and interesting as that was to her as a magic user to ponder, as an Empress and fighter for the survival for the world she knew instinctively she did not have time to gawk. Albeit, she did apparently have the time to get almost killed. Argh. But at least this person was trying to rally the assembled individuals from other worlds, it seemed, though as to how many would believe that was perhaps debatable. Still, they all seemed willing to fight the damned beasts anyways, so for now things would have to do. One had to learn to look at the status quo to get through this sort of thing.

"Thank you, both to you who saved me and you of course, Ms. 'Meteora'. Though with a wyvern just having flown past us, we need to prepare for an attack whilst the others keep the other wyvern on the ground," Sanaki said, taking the hand of the white-haired mage to be helped up, dusting herself off calmly before assessing the situation as quick as she could after these new developments, "I have a far stronger tome i can use, since my first did not do much it seems, but the trade is that this tome does not have as far of a range."

New faces, new bodies, it was quickly becoming a mess around here as the civilians had seemingly nearly fully abandoned the streets to go into nearby buildings. Not that those things did much against a rampaging wyvern, despite the odd style they all seemed to be built in. Even the strange looking thing some of the blue-or-green-clad beorc had been using against the wyverns were odd, not something she knew as a "weapon" but that was probably one used in this world.

As she put away out her Bolting tome whilst she was speaking to those in her immediate vicinity, Sanaki proceeded to reach back and grab...another tome, actually. One with a orange and recd cover, seeming a bit worn use but also well-taken care of as well, Sanaki's signature tome was more than a little comfortable in her hands. She flipped open the pages again before looking to the brown-haired boy in odd attire with the closed-looking eyes.

Facing towards the direction the other wyvern flew off in without skipping a beat, Sanaki help up her tome in her hands, Cymbeline ready in her hands as the words on its pages glowed faintly with a red, magical light. She was ready to cast the spell, now all she needed was the other wyvern to come back in this direction to get a face full of meteor. Though things were still not optimal, as there seemed to be no organization on the "side" her and others here seemed to be on, and there was no time to talk more or lay out a more complex plan.

Menomaru

The arrival on the scene had Menomaru grin. Something was smelling good. But he did not sense any demonic aura present, it had to be something else.

He began to ponder on the idea of watching whatever it was devour Mordred. Though it would steal the enjoyment of killing her himself. If he could somehow split her up from the smaller girl and the boy who were with them. Menomaru devised a plan. What if there are several of whatever made this in different locations. I could split them all up. Letting the moths scout the area. Giving me the finest control to be where exactly I need to be.

I will kill you Mordred. My moths shall infest the entire place and I shall reap the life of everything in here. That Nanoha girl won't be able to catch me with her magic again. Not when she is busy elsewhere. All of these fools will die by my hand. First these special ones. Then the rest of this world. I shall drown them in their own misery. They shall regret the moment they hesitated to end me.
"These moths shall take a look around. To find whatever did this. Unless you want to risk being too late to save these... innocents or split up?" Menomaru finally said and moths began to come forth around him. Perhaps what made this could be made into an ally even.

Alberich

He had tried to open up conversation with the mothman but to little use. The man was not interested in talking. The other two. The smaller girl with blonde hair appearantly had already turned on her heels. She wasn't interested in putting effort into the matter. Then there was the woman who was stating the obvious.

Yes, it was certainly reeking. What was it however? He did not know. But whatever it was he was certain it would pose problems, thus his god robe was needed. He called on it and after a short bit his god robe would appear and place its various armorparts on Alberich and he'd grip the crystal-like sword as it pops out.

They wouldn't be able to keep his sword from his hands. It was a part of his god robe as much as the armor itself was. The flaming sword would remain unlit in his right hand and he would look around to his would-be-companions. This was not very promising. None of them had useful qualities from what he could tell. Two were seemingly not very interested in co-operating or putting effort into it, the remaining one seemed to not be much of a thinker. Good thing he was known as the brain of Asgard.

"You there. Woman." Alberich spoke out to Mordred.

"I, Alberich Delta Megrez, shall now begin the search for what made this. I expect you to fall in behind me. I be the most suitable to lead this group forth after all."

Emilio

He shook his head to the questions being asked. He was in a good location on top of the lamppost, it could be used as a springboard or something to jump off from quickly if need be before taking flight, it also gave him a high ground where he could see things approaching.

"Nanoha. Vita. Heeh." He said out loud and gave both the girls a look. He had seen them both before, one was fighting the boy in the crystal armor and the other was in the room with that strange mothman. Vita had originally caused some memory of his to spring to mind, but as it was right now it was silent.

"Trouble coming? Heheh... very well. They can give it a try. Let's wait shall we?" He was eager to use his powers with no restraint. He wasn't certain of the overly interest in saving civilians. But he did know the importance of VIP's and targets which would be best left unharmed. He was after all sent on such missions by Wong.

He had an idea of what Tenshi and Vita was capable of, but the last one Nanoha he had not seen much of yet. Whatever it was that was approaching it would not live to tell the tale.

His wings manifested then and he formed an octagonal prism the size of a basketball between his hands. "Try to not get hit... heheh..."

Mordred

"Yeah yeah, temporary Master," Mordred commented with a dismissive wave of her hand as the little blonde vampire girl decided not to go down into the sewer, instead opting to walk away. It's not like she didn't sort of understand why someone like that would opt out, even if she didn't like it too much and it wasn't anything she'd consider doing herself. But regardless of that, the Saber-Class Servant didn't need her temporary Master around. As long as the contract was in place, Evangeline could have just sat under a kotatsu(those things were awesome, Mordred had to admit) the whole time and it wouldn't have mattered. "Go on your little clothes shopping trip or whatever."

Naturally not wanting to take it into the sewer, Mordred chowed down on the rest of her popsicle, tossing the stick away when she was done. It had been pretty good, and the shorts-clad girl took note to buy some more when she got the chance. Maybe they all had different flavors or whatever. Anyway, whatever it was down there seemed pretty powerfully magical, that was for sure. Some kind of monster or something, maybe.

And then, Alberich spoke.

It didn't take long. Not only was he asserting he was the best one to lead, ignoring anyone else there, but he'd done it. He'd gone and done it. Immediately the anger boiled to the surface, and the blonde knight reached out with one hand and called a shower of red sparks and what seemed to be crackling electricity. They condensed and revealed Clarent, the blade summoned to her as she rounded on the man and raised it in one incredibly swift motion, pointing the sword's tip directly at his throat.

"Call me a woman again and I'll turn you into my new scabbard," Mordred practically growled. A woman? Is that all he thought of her, huh? She was a knight. She was a knight before anything else! She wouldn't accept anyone treating her like a girl! She remembered how girls were treated back then, she remembered what she was, and she wouldn't let anyone call her that!

She wouldn't accept it.

Stark and Tyr

As Iron Man neared the center of the Dragon's assault Jarvis spoke up. I'm picking up errant light emissions from beneath us. No thermal, radioactive, or electromagnetic signatures, though. Apparently they are using extremely advanced technology."

"Interesting," said stark, then activated his radio. "Get ready. I'm going to leave you down on the street. Someone needs to try and coordinate our attacks and keep civilians out of our way."

"That's assuming that any of these other combatants will listen to me." He said, as Stark landed on the street just long enough to let go of him, then flew off after the Dragon. "Against an opponent this large, I would suggest looking for vulnerabilities." Tyr said over the radio, cutting it off long enough to tell gawkers that if they stayed behind he wouldn't protect them. In most cases fear overtook their curiosity and they ran. The few that were to stupid to save themselves, and were unable or unwilling to fight would at least be removed from the gene pool.

"Right," said Stark, pulling up roughly beside the dragon. "Jarvis, set hand blasters to fire mode." With that, he aimed one hand at its left eye and fired.

Inuyasha

Upon approaching the building, Inuyasha was stopped by several guards carrying some sort of black weapon, judging by how they reached for them it response to his approach. He stopped before getting close enough for them to draw their weapons, and addressed them. "I need to speak with your Shogun, or one of his representatives. I am from your past, and will need the help of someone skilled in magic to return home."

One of the men muttered something about "cosplayer", tapped his ear, and began talking as if to a superior. It could be a prayer, though. Inuyasha was used to humans praying out of fear upon seeing a Yokai for the first time.

Shokuhou Misaki

The young woman simply stared blankly at her 'companions' flew off after the bird-like creatures, trying to understand how either of them thought that doing something so destructive was in any way a good idea. While she was also inclined to see those... Things die, to do so in such a flashy manner...

Wasn't that just going to defeat the purpose of her trying to stay undercover?

"...I guess I'll just have to stick with this for now," she sighed, internally bemoaning her bad luck as she walked off to follow behind. Running in this situation would only cause her to get winded, and so despite the insanity of this whole situation Misaki slowly walked through the mess that was gradually escalating in scale. There didn't seem to be anyone else at the MOMENT, of course, but that likely wouldn't remain the case for long.

"You do realize that you've painted a giant target on yourselves, right?" she called out after the two as the last of the corpses fell to the ground. Misaki couldn't help but scowl at the sight; mangled creatures were not something she was particularly wanted to see at all.

Hinanawi Tenshi

"...Huh?"
Tenshi couldn't help but raise an eye at the enemies that had gathered to surround them. They were, in essence, a bunch of technicolor blobs with vague shapes resembling slugs or people. They didn't look that intimidating; if anything, their appearances reminded her of fairies back in Gensokyo. But the fact that they didn't seem to react in the least to the warning shouted out by her peer meant that they either didn't care or couldn't understand.

Which, quite honestly, only left one real solution.

"Well, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!" the Celestial cried out as the enemies began to throw themselves at the group. In an instant, Tenshi launched a few rocks at what was in front of her, her brow furrowing as they seemed to simply dissipate after the impact.

"Eh? Seriously? Are they just really weird-looking fairies or something?"

The private within the van seemed as if she wanted to stop Eva from leaving, but in the end held herself back and let the vampire go off on her own trip. To be frank, if she was in the same situation she might do the same thing. But she wasn't, and she had a job to oversee, and thus she sat there in the vehicle.

Without that awful smell. Especially so.

"Could I please ask you to not try and kill each other right now?" she spoke into the built-in microphone, a concerned look on her face as she stared at Mordred. "There are bigger problems at hand, after all."

Whenever the group decided to enter the manhole, the first thing they would find (past the smell, of course) would be that the slime that was sporadically lying about the area outside now seemed to coat everything within the sewer: the walls, the floor, and even the ladder. Of course, the slime seemed to leave a trail down one direction and not the other, judging by the complete lack of slime from the other direction. The sound of something moving, at the very least, was coming through from where the trail was leading. In other words, whatever it was that had created it was certainly still close by.

There were a few moments of chatter between the soldiers in front of Inuyasha and whoever was on the other end of the line before the soldier (hesitantly) stepped forward and handed the earpiece to the half-youkai.

"Bring it to your ear. My superior wants to speak with you directly," he stated flatly, waiting for him to take the object in question.

Leonardo Watch

Leo's usual screaming could be heard as he gripped onto Youmu's ghost half for dear life. The speed he was moving at was beyond anything he was used to, and it was definitely comparable to Chain's own, if not faster.

She would probably get revenge on him for even thinking that, but that wasn't something to worry about for the moment.

The second that he and Youmu landed, though, Leo rolled over and seemed to just lie flat on his back to let his heart stabilize for a moment. Even though he lived in Hellsalem's Lot, being dragged at that high a speed was not any better for his health. A familiar voice, however, would give him more than enough reason to be happy.

"...Klaus? Is it really you, Klaus?" Leo asked, taking a few moments to process the situation before scrambling to his feet and turning to face his employer. "It is! A-anyways, I haven't seen anyone else from Li—Work! Right, I haven't seen anyone else here; it's just me and Sonic right now."

Of course, turning to face Klaus meant turning to look at the giant wyvern-dragon-thing blasting fire at his face. It would only be natural to try and assist him...

If there weren't another two people trying to order them all around to handle the situation in the first place. Leo wasn't fazed by the number of people from what were apparently multiple different genres of various sorts, at the very least, but so long as their efforts were unified against the monsters then their origins didn't really matter in the end.

As soon as Stark shot the flying wyvern in the eye, it roared in pain and immediately lost all capability of flight at that given moment. In an instant, the monster nosedived towards the ground and unceremoniously crashed into the asphalt, leaving a giant crater in its wake. It was stunned and in pain, but alive and most definitely still in fighting condition. At the very least, though, it seemed to be wounded from the blow in the first place and was now on the ground, so the attack could probably have been considered a pretty big success.

As soon as Leo saw that was the case, though, he bit his lips and stepped forward.

"I'm going to scramble their vision! Once they're reeling, hit them with everything you've got!" he cried out, opening his eyes and staring at the two wyverns. A pair of blue sigils immediately appeared in front of his All-Seeing Eyes of God, and two more sets soon appeared in front of those of the wyverns. It didn't take long for the one that was firing away at Klaus to stop at this sudden change of vision and begin to flail around in a desperate attempt to attack anyone who would come near.

Not that it mattered to this group, of course.

Konpaku Youmu

The girl she had rescued seemed fine, and also revealed her had abilities of her own. It wasn't surprising to Youmu, given she was used to such things, but did that mean that people in the outside world could possess abilities as well? Regardless of what was going on, there wasn't any time to worry about something like that. Right now, she had to take down those wyverns. Conveniently, both of the hulking creatures had been sent to the ground, and the white-haired girl immediately targeted the more distant one that had crashed. Once again, Leonardo had used the power in his eyes to stun both of them...!

She had to act quickly, she didn't know how long that the dragons would be stunned!

The air erupted around Youmu as she suddenly burst forward, both hands now firmly on Roukanken's hilt as she sheath Hakuroken. After all, this was no time to consider non-lethal options. She had to stop the dragon as quickly as she possibly could...

As she advanced on the creature she raised Roukanken and brought the long blade down in a flash, aiming squarely for the top of its head in a bid to divide its entire head in half!

NANOHA TAKAMACHI

Nanoha's reaction to the foreseen attack was just as expected. Before the blob-like enemies that somehow remembered her of the Jewel Seed Monsters could pounce on them, Nanoha already had Raising Heart raised and ready to fire.

"Excellion Buster, shoot!" she called her device, giving the command for Raising Heart to unleash one of their most powerful bombardment spells in the blink of an eye thanks to the A.C.S. A moment later, all of the city for several dozen meters in front of Nanoha was reduced to a smoldering crater. She couldn't afford to do this kind of shot twice in a row without placing strain both on herself or Raising Heart, who had gone back to her Device Mode, expelling large plumes of vapor from her cooling ports.

Nanoha could only hope that it did the trick at least with those creatures in front of her.

METEORA ÖSTERREICH

The action had grown exponentially in a matter of seconds. They were attracting far more attention than Meteora would like to. It was clear that the end of this battle was long overdue. How could a couple of seemingly low-ranked dragonkin resist so much punishment, to begin with?

Regardless of the reasons behind that, Meteora knew that they had to end it soon or be at the mercy of some deep trouble. Thankfully, Sanaki came up with an idea just about the same time that Mr. Bucket Head—who came back less than an hour after he left— knocked the wyvern that flew past them out of the sky and the others focused their attacks on it.

"If that's range that you want; I can help you with it," Meteora said, grabbing Sanaki's hand and pulling the girl towards her as tight as she could. "Don't let go," she added before taking to the skies to place the two of them in a position where the other mage could strike—hoping to flank it so that it so that it couldn't avoid the strike of the sword-wielding girl that shared an impressive likeness to Meteora's own character design— while using her own magic for defense if need be.

Emilio

Seeing the strange looking creatures approach, Emilio shook his head swiftly, his hair moving from side to side as he did and he smiled widely. In a manner some would find sinister or creepy.

"Go!" He shot a single ray of light into the prism before him, making a 'ding' sound as it did before it shot straight towards one of the creatures approaching. But it didn't stop there. It was followed by eight more ray attacks.

Another ray quickly followed the initial one, striking through the creature the first ray had penetrated and hitting another one. Simultaneously the other seven rays would fly out of the prism. One going seemingly through him, hitting an enemy found approaching him from the back.

The remaining six rays would fly out at his sides. Some of the rays may even come very close to hitting Vita, Nanoha and Tenshi. But he had placed himself in a good position so they would surely not be hit unless they've moved around too much from their original spot.

Emilio let out a laugh as the targets were penetrated by those rays of destructive light.

"Hah hah hah! Destroy me? Give it a try! Haaah!" His smile grew wider. His consideration to what his rays could do to the nearby buildings and the like didn't cross him for a moment.

Menomaru

He stopped in his tracks. The boy in the odd armor and the crystal sword had managed to anger Mordred. Alberich was appearantly his name.

Menomaru thought little of it. But he did ponder to drive the sharp end of his blade into Mordred's back. It was tempting to take her life there. But it wouldn't do.

That ice magic using girl was still around and he wanted to look Mordred into the eyes as he would kill her. Not some underhanded stab from the back. As much as she deserved it from humiliating him. He would have to kill her in this here hole. Perhaps he could find a good ambush site within. As for the armored boy? Menomaru couldn't care less what he did. He was clearly human aswell and not useful to him except maybe as bait.

Taking a few steps ahead, Menomaru passed by Mordred and Alberich and began to move inside the hole. He then began to create numerous moths and sent them ahead inside of the hole. They would act as scouts and through them he would see whatever was inside. He pondered on the idea of creating a massive amount of moths ahead of them and then direct them deeper within, then let the two humans walk ahead of him and he could call forth more behind them. The idea of having them choke on the poison. He found it appealing.

Then he could go up and stab them at his leisure. At least the girl. The boy he could just leave to die in there. Being a moth demon he had no trouble seeing in the dark. What of the other two though? He smirked as he walked forwards with his sword now drawn.

"Not terribly impressive humans! Don't let me have all the fun." Menomaru arrogantly threw out of himself with his back turned towards the two. He wanted to lure that girl into the hole and be done with her.

Alberich

He was not standing idly by while Mordred drew and pointed her sword at him. Alberich pointed his own sword to Mordred's neck and it lit up in a fiery blaze, the flames caressing the crystal-like sword. He twohanded the sword and had his acid spraying bracer pointed to the woman's face.

Alberich didn't want to fight her. There was no gain. But he wouldn't let someone like that threaten him without any reaction.

"Then what should I call you? Man? You have not even introduced yourself. That is rude enough before pointing a sword at me and throwing promises you won't be able to keep. Because I am Alberich." Alberich said with just a slight smirk on his lips and a spark in his eye.

"Lower your sword or you will become nothing but a cold corpse being drained away in a crystal tomb." He was serious and made sure she would know that he wouldn't be pushed around by the likes of her. Besides if things would come to shove at least he could explain to the others that she drew weapon on him first. Whilst prepared for the worst, he hoped she would back down before he would be forced to try put her down. Now what will you do? Woman. He thought to himself as he watched Mordred carefully, not letting his guard down for a moment.

Magic...? And so flashy!

With Ben's assistance, all the "birds" had been defeated, no longer able to assault or trouble anyone--and in turn, this meant that Hibiki had nothing to keep herself in the air. With a last burst of propulsion, she cleared the nearby buildings and landed with surprising grace, considering the damage her kicks had been doing, by the side of a road. Of course, now she was once again lost about where she was...

Not that it mattered too much, Hibiki thought. Heading home had revealed a strange building, and that probably explained why the Commander had been completely out of reach. There had to be some way to get home from here but as it was... she couldn't stay transformed forever, so she would need to get some warmer clothes and shoes. But how...?

There was nobody else from Libra? Then he would just have to try and work with the strangers around here to stop these monsters before they could do more damage to New York. But... this was just as disorganised as most affairs in Hellsalem's Lot tended to be, with everyone doing what they wanted without too much concern for co-ordination, though there was some attempt going on to avoid getting people caught in the crossfire.

It made his job rather obvious, with the wyvern's head flailing about in front of him: jump to get the height needed... and swing down an immense cross of blood pointy-end first. Normally he would attempt to crush an enemy with this, but given the resilience of the beast in question, perhaps staking its head to the ground would be a better way to end it.

New York, New York; Manhattan Area; In The Air Attacking a Wyvern

From this new aerial vantage point, the purple haired girl had a good view of what was going on as she stayed within the blue mage's arms, one of her own arms wrapped around Meteora, from which the blue-haired mage might feel a little shaking as Sanaki struggled to hold onto her. Her other arm, though, held Cymbeline open, its pages of ancient script glowing with magical power. It was far less comfortable than riding upon one of her Holy Guard, but at the same time being in the air was a familiar feeling to her in enough of a regard to not just panic. Rather than speaking more, Sanaki set her sights on the base of this now-grounded wyvern's neck, the same wyvern that the sword-wielding girl who saved her was aiming for the head of. Her magic was ready, Cymbeline had been ready, so the moment she was flown up into the right position, Sanaki let loose her signature tome's magic without hesitation.

"Cymbeline!

In a heartbeat, a giant flaming meteor formed in the sky above the wyvern, small balls of fire leaving trails as they moved around the meteor's body quickly like daring faeries, or like planets around the sun despite being on a smaller scale. But this visage of her personal tome's mighty magic did not last for long at all, as the meteor straightaway cast itself downwards at great speeds, suddenly accelerated greatly as if propelled by an unseen force, towards the targeted area on its target. Aimed at the base of the wyvern's neck, it was as if Sanaki was aiming to attempt to shatter it and snap the head off all in one shot...just in case the sword wielding woman failed to split its head. Were it not for the fact that at least Sanaki herself knew this magic did would not shatter the pavement below or harm the surroundings, she might not have used this spell....yet she also hoped that the sword-wielding woman herself would not get cause in the impact that this spell would leave in its wake. Or at least, hoped she was durable enough if the worst came to light.

Still, whatever it took to end all of this before civilians got killed or hurt, before more helpless beorc were slain by these things, she wanted to do it. She was an Empress, one who commanded respect, but yet in this situation even she had the level mind to act now and think later as was necessary. Further, she was glad that the blue-haired mage had acted so decisively to get her into this flanking position. From the point of attack, the wyvern wouldn't be able to see the attack coming, much less escape from its great speed and the force that would result from this.

Cymbeline, the second most powerful tome of Fire Magic from her world. Only surpassed by the Rexflame, which she was capable of wielding as well. Even the dragons of her world would be totally concealed within the size of this tome's projectile, and they themselves were mighty in size and power. As for these particular wyverns, though, she knew not what world they came from, or even if it had magic in it. Regardless, their showcased resilience meant that they needed to be hit hard and fast. Now, while there was still time from the boy seemingly scrambling up their senses of sight with his own abilities.

Stark and Tyr

"I've grounded the first Dragon." Stark said to Tyr over the radio. "About two blocks from your position in the middle of an alley. I'll pry its mouth open, you fire down its throat. That a good "soft spot" for you?"

Upon hearing this Tyr immediately ran towards the downed creature's location, hoping to contribute at least something to its defeat besides crowd control. "On my way." he responded.

"Ok," Stark said, deactivating his microphone. "Jarvis, reroute all power to the hydraulics."

As he neared the creature, though, Jarvis spoke up. "I'm detecting a massive thermal emission from directly above. Temperature four thousand kelvin and rising. Should I continue rerouting?"

Stark looked up to see a giant ball of flame. "Shit." he said, activating his thrusters. He was only airborne for a few seconds when it hit, the heat wave pushing him further away. "Huh," he muttered, seeing the chard remains of what used to be a neck. "Where's the other one?" Jarvis answered with a video feed of its being swarmed as well. "That was easier than I expected. I guess we had better say hi." With that he flew over to the purple haired woman and the girl he had met at Starbucks. "Hi." he said, activating the external comms and holding out his hand. "Nice to see you again. And it's nice to meet you too. My name's Tony Stark."

Tyr had seen the explosion just as he neared the alleyway, and slid to a stop as he saw the dead creature. "Oh, come on!" he yelled, angry that he hadn't got to see any action. "I'm the best genetic specimen on this planet and the only action I see is a couple of looters!"

Inuyasha

Inuyasha took the earpiece. So he wasn't praying. This must be one of those "telephone" things Kagome had told him about, but it didn't look like the one he had seen the last time he was in the future. It was designed for humans, and wouldn't fit correctly if he put it in his ear like they did, so he held it up to his mouth, using his enhanced hearing to listen to it. "Moshi Moshi." he said, as Kagome had mentioned doing when answering a telephone.
