Backstory:
In the distant past, Amaterasu was slain by her brother, Tsukuyomi, out of jealousy and hatred, who later came to the realization that life wasn't all that great if he didn't have his sister. Out of depression and sadness, Tsukuyomi eventually committed suicide, rejoining his sister in death, much to the dismay of Susanoo. Susanoo fell into a depression that eventually led to his death, in a sense. While the depression was not the exact cause of Susanoo's death, it is believed to have played a big part as Susanoo charged against armies, willingly fighting until he would eventually fall in battle.

Much later, the three deities were reincarnated into their forms, at roughly the same times. Acting as a unit, the triplet trio of Godly Sisters was born into the Heavens, retaining their knowledge of their powers and strengths, and tasked with the goal of keeping the Heavens safe from any harm.

Interestingly, the youngest triplet of the Godly Sisters (by about five minutes) was born... cold. Unlike the versions commonly told about, this reincarnation of Amaterasu was born without a whole heart, as it was effectively torn from her being thousands of years before her reincarnation. As time has passed, a small sliver of her old heart had been reformed, allowing her to feel some sense of compassion, and while she tries hard for it, she longs for that familiar feeling of a full heart.

Powers:
Godly Blessing - At her will, Amaterasu can buff her allies with a defensive aura. The aura can double the defenses of her allies very briefly, or it can slightly increase the defense for an extended period of time. The time period cannot extend for more than a minute or two at a time.
Flight - She can fly. What else needs to be said?
Solar Manipulation - Amaterasu is able to control forms of light and fire similarly, able to apply both of those powers in various ways (typically defensive ways). Her manipulation of these elements often leave them with a certain aspect of holiness, resulting in a passive amount of holy damage that is proportional to the amount of damage she would inflict with the attacks normally.

Notable Applications of Solar Manipulation

[+] Light Wall - Amaterasu raises a wall of solid holy light, able to block even the strongest of attacks and grind enemy advances to a halt. The walls have a short duration, but they're damn effective at what they do.
[+] Prismatic Armor - Reflective armor, able to absorb light and redirect it back at the shooter, and able to take a fair amount of hits before shattering and revealing the tender Amatersu from underneath it.
[+] Fire Storm - Amaterasu can throw a fireball that explodes, causing several more fireballs to rain down from the Heavens and explode on a target, dealing additional damage.

Resistances & Immunities:
- Fireproof.
- Demonic resistance.
- Light resistance.
- Emotional resistance.

Weaknesses:
- Machina weakness due to faction triangles, but namely Eos specifically.
- Stars burn out when given more mass (Stacking buffs makes them wear off faster).
- Slight weakness to water.
- Sealing magics.

Weapons & Equipment:
- Yata-no-Kagami - A resilient mirror to the common person, but the best tool in Amaterasu's arsenal when held by her. Amaterasu is able to tap into the true potential of the mirror, allowing for the mirror to become a sturdy shield when contained in her hands. When possessed by Amaterasu, the mirror acts as a full blown shield, fitting the size of it's wielder accordingly, and reflecting most forms of projectile damage back at the attacker in a concentrated form (provided it is an energy attack). The mirror itself is also able to show the truth behind someone, revealing who they really are on the inside, whether it be a merciless dictator or a humble family man. Alas, the mirror is not indestructible, and it will break when hit with an attack that's too strong for it to be countered, like a giant earth-shattering laser. The attack will still be reflected to a point, but it won't be completely stopped.
- Shortsword - It's an ordinary shortsword. You never know when you'll need a shortsword.

So I just finished watching 'Altered Carbon' and it's got me inspired to make a character with the same concept.

His life and soul have been digitalised and can be put into different synthetic bodies or mechs. Happens automatically when he dies but he might not get all his latest memories depending on his latest upload.

My character is different because his soul/spirit is active like a ghost in these mechanical bodies. They are still stupidly expensive to replace, death is always painful and reawakening can take some time depending on where the next available body is.

This is my concept along with some early demonic intervention during his normal human years that set him on a very vengeful, demon hating path.

First of all, welcome. We appreciate that you have taken interest in our game.

The concept of a ghost in the machine, can work very well. However, there are a few things in that need to be clarified:

Ressurection in the Nexus didn't really come at any great cost. He could be destroyed and rebuilt without losing any memories whatsoever.

Also, the Machina are a very post scarcity society, the concept of cost doesn't work for them like it applies to most other words. You character could always have as many spare bodies as needed. So he would not have to wait before being revived.

Other than these details, the idea is very acceptable. Let us know if you need any more information.

Both the Demons and the Machina need more meat on their bones. Quite literally in some cases.

The Machina need new characters the most right now, however do keep in mind you can make multiple characters. Just not any for Heaven right now, they're a bit too full at the moment.

Summary: Life with the Machina for a human is perfection. Nothing but the best education, never needing for entertainment, always fed and dressed in the most exquisite clothing available. But something about all of that bored Rose. She wanted to have to work for her keep, she wanted to contribute to the Machina cause. So she joined a Forge in her district which was known for designing the latest and most high tech Machina weapons and armor for the army. She designed some innovative things, including an advanced reactor core which was used in some fancy new airship that was being manufactured. Rose did all of this at the tender age of 15, but it still wasn't enough for her. So she decided to make life more exciting. After producing an advanced super suit in secret she snuck onboard a transport vessel to some remote battlefield in the middle of the Nexus. She decimated the enemy. Raining artillery from on high she helped annihilate an entire Demon army, taking on the commander herself with her advanced arsenal of energy weapons. When she got back she was scolded by her superiors, but Eos took notice. And now Rose fights alongside the best of the best of the Machina army.
Powers: Rose is a walking tank, powering through attacks with a variety of advanced energy shields just so she can deliver one powerful attack to knock the enemy out of battle and into the grave.
Titania Armor System- Named after the fairy queen of legend, the Titania armor is meant to enhance Rose's defenses and mobility so she can survive against the heavy hitters of the Nexus. It also houses a variety of programs so Rose can track the fastest of targets and shoot them down.
Oberon Weapons System- She houses a large amount of heavy firepower in her suit as well, enough to down some of the largest Demons or Angels in one well placed shot. Essentially she's a mobile artillery center, no point in doing things halfway after all.
