Maya Logan
----------------------
"In a land far, far away, lies the Kingdom of Fiore, a small peaceful nation of 17 million, and a place filled with magic! Found in every home, bought and sold in every marketplace, for most, magic is merely a tool, a mundane part of everyday life. For some, however, magic is an art, and they have devoted their lives to its practice. These are the mages. Banded together into magical guilds they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore. But there is a certain guild in a certain town that soars high above the rest, one from which countless legends have been born... a guide that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. Its name... is Fairy Tail."
But it has been fifty years since the last tales of the legends of Fairy Tail, now a new generation of legends is on the rise....
But it has been fifty years since the last tales of the legends of Fairy Tail, now a new generation of legends is on the rise....
But today the sun is shining on the city of Magnolia, and a certain Guild Hall was standing majestically against the skyline of Fire as a lone figure stood outside it's doors. Over the years, the hall had grown in size significantly, now the size of a small estate building. It now housed two acres of land behind the hall as well as being comprised of over two hundred members as of late.
The figure outside the doors was one Maya Logan. She stood in a long dark red cloak that brushed her knees, underneath a pale sea green tunic and black tight pants. A look of determination showed on her face as she stood outside the doors, which she could hear the loud noise from inside coming through.
Taking a deep breath, Maya pulled open the door and crept inside, trying to not draw attention to herself. That seemed to be an easy feat, as there was currently was seemed to be a riot going on inside. The doors opening up to a large Hall with stone stairs leading up on either side to another level. Under the stairs sat a long bar, which was being attended by a pretty girl with raven colored hair. Maya watched as wizards of all ages seemed to be yelling at each other and throwing their magic around. But they seemed to be enjoying themselves, which puzzled Maya.
She stood there silently, a look of shock on her face at the chaos. How on earth was she supposed to talk to anyone in this mess?!
But it seemed she didn't need to ask, because just then a tall pretty brunette seemed to appear out of thin air beside her. "Hi! Welcome to Fairy Tail! How can we help you?
Maya jumped slightly at the sudden presence of the girl beside her,"Waaah! She yelled and then settled down when the taller girl smiled."Oh,I was just looking to see if you guys were taking on new members," She said simply.
----
Half an hour later, Maya had a Fairy Tail guild mark in a nice shade of sea green placed on her thigh and she smiled down at it proudly. Master Wainwright had been a nice, if not serious woman. She was intimidating, that's for sure, especially as the woman who she'd first met had told her the Master was one of the Ten Wizard Saints.
The brunette woman's name was Janea Hathaway, and she used nature magic she told Maya. Apparently, Fairy Tail had wizards of a variety of magics, but they hadn't seen a celestial wizard like her in quite some time.
As Janea showed Maya around the Gila Hall briefly and explained some of the rules, Maya listened with rapt attention. She was eager to start going on quests and making money, especially since she didn't have the money to stay in the Woman's Dormitories. She'd need her own place.
So a few minutes later found Maya standing at the quest board, a curious look on her face as she internally questioned which job she should take to start out with. She needed something, even if it was small.
