Do we ever? Hulk's one of the cursed characters. No one who picks him up ever keeps him longer than an arc or two, and certainly never for a whole season. Much like Punishe-- oh.
Well, it still stands for Hulk.
I heard that.

Lonnie Lincoln as mayor of NYC when?
Don’t worry, I don’t need it to be No Man’s Land Gotham. Just need enough collateral damage to swing a mayoral election and have people not too happy with Spider-Woman. :-D
<Snipped quote by Retired>
He was one of the choices I considered, but no, it’s a different reimagined Spidey character.
Lonnie may show up next year tho
I would prefer the action take place in New York, if only because some of my major plans for next season require things in New York to be kind shitty at the beginning of the season

Someone needs a city wrecked?
<Snipped quote by Lord Wraith>
You can't write a sex scene between Thor and the City.
You can't write a sex scene between Thor and the City.
You can't write a sex scene between Thor and the City.
Is that a statement, or a challenge?
Sounds like someone just issued a challenge, to me.
don't come.
I need a slightly wrecked city. Not a fucked city
Bob the Builder, CEO of Damage Control.
I like it.

I legit want to make this a thing.
On a sidenote, all this talk about Hulk. If secondary characters were a thing I'd claim him. I feel like I'd have a good story to tell as him, as I've got notes around here somewhere.
Ultimate One Universe: Year Two Application
Character You're Applying For: Archangel
Powers And Abilities:
Originally Warren simply had large bird-like wings that granted him the ability to fly.
Upon coming into contact with the Black Vortex mirror, Warren was transformed into a comic powered version of himself. Now possessing wings made of cosmic fire, Warren can also project large blasts from his wings as well as his hands, fly at faster than light speeds in space, as well as survive in space without eating, breathing, etc. He has some degree of heightened durability and strength however his limits have yet to be reached.
Origin And Backstory (In A Maximum Of Four Paragraphs):
Twenty-three year old billionaire in training Warren Worthington III tried for several weeks to become a hero after costumed superhumans began showing up in more than just comics and tv. The Avenging Angel just wasn’t cutting it in Jump City. After rumors on the black market surfaced about a ‘magic mirror’ that could help someone enhance their abilities, the young would-be hero ponied up several million dollars just to get a glimpse of this thing. After a couple false leads, Warren finally came face to face with the mirror. Like a black vortex it showed fiery wings on the kid among the stars. Moments later after flexing his wings they turned to cosmic fire and black, white, and gold armor pieced itself together on the winged hero. However, there was an emptiness in Warren now that he didn’t need to eat, sleep, or breathe like the majority of people.
Taking on local threats in Jump City such as See-More and Billy Numerous in the following weeks, the newly christened Archangel longed for something more and remembered in the mirror he was in space. The Collector eventually came across the mirror and took the artifact off-world. Maybe one or two more individuals glanced at the mirror? Who knows?! However, Warren flew into space and discovered he COULD survive and flew to the moon. He later discovered his incredible speed after flying to Saturn to see the rings. After a stray asteroid almost crashed into the cosmic hero, he realized he could fire energy from his wings AND hands and he not only destroyed the asteroid but accidentally blasted a good bit of the debris making up Saturn’s rings.
He flew back to Earth to tell the few friends he had the good news. His father was still upset, thinking Warren would’ve seen himself in the mirror without wings and free of his metahuman limbs. He should’ve known better. Upon going into deep space, Archangel came into contact with several new worlds and species. He fought the White Triangle Gang which included a handful of solar powered Daxamites. A run in with the shapeshifting Chameliods had the Earth born hero land in Hardcore Station. He took up residence in the populated satellite city of five million plus alien residents. Located in a free space zone between a number of trading sectors, the commercial satellite station began as part of an asteroid mining operation. It became a business and smuggling hotpot and grew into a major city complex, with its fair share of gang warfare.
What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?: Angel has always had the potential to be a solo hero on Earth, what with being a billionaire and all with the pharmaceutical company among other branches of industry. The idea that the Black Vortex can make anybody a cosmic level champion and what was done in the comics just made me wanna see this guy in space more. They’re relaunching the GotG next year with an all new team from across the Marvel Cosmic landscape. I’d LOVE to see this kid on the team for whatever reason… if not something like that he’s powered up enough to join some version of Dr. Strange’s Defenders…
This interpretation though? Playing up the cosmic angle I was gonna mix some of the more obscure DC and Marvel cosmic stuff like Hardcore Station and Space Cabby from DC, along with the Chameliods [Marvel’s take on the Durlan’s], the Fraternity of Raptors [the Darkhawks], etc to put my Archangel smack in the middle of the hybrid cosmic setting. I’d love to work with both @Bounce’s GL and @Star Lord’s Star-Lord and Co. at some point.
Supporting Characters:
The Black Circle Syndicate - probably the largest gang within a hundred sector radius with their hands in everything from slave trading, drug dealing, and mercenary jobs. Their tattoos are actually maps for the various circles of planets they thrive in.
White Triangle Gang – group of four solar powered Daxamites taking what they can and doing whatever they want. They’re xenophobes like everyone else on Daxam so if you don’t look human (like them) then they automatically hate you.
Fraternity of Raptors – in this iteration the group of Darkhawks will be tied to a cult on the hawkworld Thanagar.
Space Cabby – the only real humanoid friend Warren has in deep space. The two share a living space in Hardcore Station that doubles as a garage for Cabby’s personal star cruiser.
