"I'll follow you, don't worry," she told Kristin as she turned her cane into the full length bo staff that they had made for her back at the camp. Of course she wasn't too sure just how good of a fighter she'd be against a bunch of Centaurs, considering it was something completely new to her. Then again, she hadn't fought any monsters at all until just a little bit ago when they attacked her and her brother and they wound up at camp. She hadn't been too sure what to do then, she just ended up doing it. Of course, there was no way that she could do ranged attacks of any sort, at least not very well.

She heard Zeke's comments about her needing to cover her ears, and she did so for a few moments, before she removed them again. It wasn't something she really liked to do, especially considering the fact that her hearing is essentially how she was able to see the world. If you took that away it was near impossible for her to interact with anything. "Let's go then," she said to Kristin, more then prepared to listen carefully and follow after her to go fight the Centaurs. There was nothing they could really do aside from at least try to do something.

"So? The opportunity presented itself and who was I to give up on a perfect strike like that," she said with a slight laugh, shaking her head at Demetri now that he was a human again. "You need to learn to pick your battles, otherwise you'll find out you'll lose a lot more often then you would care for," she added, before turning her attention towards Leda and her comment about the whole fighting thing. "To be fair he started it by turning into something as dumb as a goose. Honestly, a goose? Who the hell would think that of all things is terrifying, he then made fun of me which then resulted in the whole scene that you all walked in on revolving around me turning into a cow. The other comment he made towards me then is what resulted in that swift kick where it hurts the most. Not my fault the guy is an idiot."

The next comments came about how typically the Greeks and Romans didn't get along, and she just nodded her head in agreement with it. That was well known knowledge to everyone at the camp. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at Demetri as he questioned it. "You clearly have a lot to learn about how things work or something, it's a well-known fact that Romans and Greeks don't get along, I mean, last time the Greeks showed up didn't end too well, so we need to be careful of every little thing we do, since otherwise we could spark a war or something, again."

To say that the situation went from weird (since of course there was a literal goddess in the room) to downright freaky when that one kid of Aphrodite (he had forgotten her name) decided to insult Hecate in some strange way. This of course being after Arthur accidentally called her by the wrong name. Nope, of course this could not get any worse, or at least, that's what he thought, when the goddess simply just turned the girl into a freaking goldfish and then her ferret thing decided to eat it! Nope, things were going downhill rather quickly.

"...Did she seriously just get eaten by a ferret?" he couldn't help but ask, his mind completely skipping over the part about the artifact or whatever it was that was kind of important. The fact that Hecate had decided to change Mona into a fish was bad enough, but to know that the fish then was eaten by a freaking ferret made the situation even weirder! His mind snapped back to what was being said about the artifact, his mind trying to get away from the idea of someone just becoming a little goldfish and meeting their demise at the hands of a ferret. Remind him never to insult gods to their faces.

Argo III Crew Deck:

Lauryn was quiet literally speechless seeing Gale just licking her lips after she had eaten Mona without much of a second thought, making sure to never piss off, or openly insult a god or goddess directly to their face. "Yeah that just happened.." Lauryn said softly towards Jason, as both Arthur and Andy left the room. Feeling terribly sorry for Arthur who had gone through a lot the last day or two after witnessing two of his friend's deaths was never an easy thing. Hecate then turned her attention back over towards her daughter, not really looking sorry for what she actually had done.

"The artifact is a gem, made from the underworld containing a very small portion of Tartarus himself within it, do everything you can to keep it safe. Also tell Andy, to begin her search for the Crane family." Hecate told Rebecca, before the mist started to fill the room again and then Hecate was gone along with her two compainions.

Camp Jupiter Senate Building:

The baby started to gum away at Leandra's finger while holding onto her hand, the baby was less than a year old, as Maggie smiled gently rubbing the head of her son. The former Praetor turned to look at Leandra as she spoke, she could understand it would be quiet a lot of work. "You are certainly more than welcome to swing by my place anytime Niah if you'd like to hold him or something to." Maggie offered Niah.

"If you'd like I could ask around for former legionnaires to help." Maggie offered, she looked over towards Niah as she told her a little bit of what had been the emergency meeting was about everything did sound pretty grim, but New Rome and Camp Jupiter would easily be able to handle whatever was going to come. "You wouldn't mind if I joined you either right?" Maggie asked as she started to turn and made her way out of the building itself waiting for Leandra to follow her. New Rome was still really active and busy, people who were going on about their day like normal and going to do their shopping as well.

"Actually Zeke does some pretty low blows, tripping any Iris kid that comes zipping by, and I've seen the result it isn't that pretty." Alannah said looking over at Leda for a moment. Kiera leaned herself up against the wall looking over at the console looked pretty basic and easy. Kiera winced slightly hearing what Zeke did sometimes that didn't sound like fun at all really either and probably ended up in horrible injuries to. Though she'll probably learn it more later when it was her shift with Leda, Kiera looked towards Leda and smiled towards her for a moment. "I agree a goose isn't really that scary in my opinion." Kiera said with a slight shrug she knew that they made hissing like sounds but that's about all she knew.

"Watching in on their senate meeting though was pretty entertaining, one of them told the other to shut the hell up basically it felt like it was a reality show or something." Kiera said as she listened to the others as they spoke mentioning the Greek and Roman relations weren't the best at all. "So we have to be on our best behavior and not start anything basically?" Kiera asked as Alannah looked towards Kiera and gave her a slight nod. "Yep pretty much, so any questions you two?" Alannah asked looking at Mary and Demetri.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter, The Augury
Skills: Roman Mythology, Greek Mythology

Alexandra was still in her trance for what felt like another couple of minutes until she stumbled back, the last remaining part of the painting was what looked like a rather large figure in the background, with a pair of red eyes over looking everyone within the altar. "Are you okay?" Madalyne asked as she looked at the painting and then over at Alexandra who looked like she had woken up from a really bad nightmare. "I'm not sure.." Alexandra said softly as Madalyne walked over finding a nearby sink and found a cup and filled it up with water and handed it back over towards Alex.

Madalyne thought looking over at the shrine of Apollo, she wasn't really coming up with one either, aside from the old world back over in Greece she was pretty sure that there were dozens of Apollo shrines and temples there. Though she mostly focused on the large looming person in the background. "Typhon maybe what do you guys think?" Madalyne asked looking over towards Nancy and Niah on what their thoughts were that was the only thing that she did come up with, and Typhon was really tough from what she had heard in the Second Titan War, the Greek Gods were having a really hard time against him.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: On the road again.
Skills: N/A

Kristin winced slightly when she watched the two centaurs shooting arrows at Zeke, they certainly weren't playing at all, as the remaining Centaurs came out of the trees, one of them was carrying a net while the other was holding what looked like a blow dart gun. Two of them came over towards Kristin as she swung her spear at the Centaur that came after her and Janelle easily stabbing it into the side. Hearing the centaur roar in pain before bursting out into dust. "Behind you Janelle!" Kristin yelled to Janelle managing to swing her staff preventing the centaur from hurting Janelle.

The Centaur with the blow gun tried to shoot one at Zeke but it missed quiet a bit, Kristin looked over at the bus for a moment wondering if getting inside would actually work. As the one carrying the net was thrown over Zeke. And it started to try and drag him off, Kristin turned and managed to cut the net with her spear quickly.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - the Galley
Skills: N/A

Rebecca nodded at Jason, her brown eyes flashing with a warning to not challenge her mother. Andy and Arthur had fled the room, something she felt was for the best. They were new to this world, unaware of which gods could take an insult and which ones would enact a punishment. It often times was incredibly arbitrary. Even Artemis at the start of the Trojan War had demanded the sacrifice of a virgin before the Greek fleet could sail. Athena had been the one to curse Medusa and turn her into a gorgon. Poseidon, if she recalled correctly, had been behind Pasiphaë giving birth to the Minotaur. The gods were not inherently good or evil - might makes right was the law of Olympus. "Of course, Mother," Rebecca promised.

As the Mist cleared from the room, she took a moment to commit to memory what Hecate had told her. Andy needed to search the records of the Crane family in New Rome. The artifact they needed to keep safe was a gem with a portion of Tartarus' essence sealed inside of it. She felt like small spiders were crawling up and down her arms the more she dwelled on all of this. One of her worst nightmares was coming true - another war. It was likely inevitable, they probably wouldn't be able to stop it, they may not even be lucky enough to survive it. For a brief moment, Rebecca had an intense longing to fulfill her dream, to sail to the Sea of Monsters and apprentice herself to Circe.

"I have a thought," she told the two still with her. "I could attempt a spell to remove Arthur and Andy's memories of Mona's death... Replace them with the notion that Mona was sent home by Hecate, as she did not wish to continue on this journey," she said softly.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck
Skills: N/A

Leda snorted as Demetri said that Zeke wouldn't hit someone in the crotch. She was pretty sure that Zeke would indeed do such a thing. He took such glee in sticking his leg out to trip her and her siblings as they ran, which was just as painful if not more so in her opinion. Falling and hitting the ground at top speeds resulted in more than just skinned knees and elbows. She raised an eyebrow as Mary explained what had started the shapeshifting - it was a beautiful day on the Argo and Demetri had been a horrible goose. The son of Zeus was rapidly becoming a walking meme at this point. "Yeah, Lauryn's right. Zeke is a complete and utter sod sometimes. Broken my fair share of bones because of him," she said, rolling her eyes in annoyance.

With the Roman-Greek relations though, pretty much all they could do was hope for the best and try to not start another Civil War. Of course, it made a lot of sense. Rome had pretty much been founded by Trojans - as in, the ones the Greeks had utterly destroyed during the Trojan War. "Well, since you all have to watch out for monsters, and I feel like hitting something... Kiera, wanna go do a practice spar or something? I could show you some moves," she said, winking a bit at the last part. She wasn't going to sit in here and help Mary and Demetri watch out for threats, mostly since she had her own shift to cover later. She hated staying still so she wasn't going to volunteer to do that more than she needed.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - the Augury
Skills: N/A

Nancy frowned, staring at the painting Alexandra had produced. There were temples and shrines to Apollo all over the world - her father was one of the Olympians after all. He was responsible for so many things - light, truth, healing, plagues, music, archery. And of course being a bit of a disaster bi, he had spawned countless children. The mortals had even named space missions in honor of him due to how widespread his worship was. "Here, it's something stronger," Nancy said, walking over to her half sister. She pulled out her hip flask and offered it to Alexandra. It was filled with nectar, the drink of the gods. She knew all too well how draining it was to come out of a prophetic trance and sometimes, nectar helped to take the edge off. It wasn't like they had alcohol on hand anyways.

The name Typhon sent a chill down her spine. She stared at the red eyed figure in the painting. Her visions had already told her how dire their situation was, how near to destruction all of Camp Jupiter and New Rome were, but it was still horrifying to face. The idea that she and the other demigods would have to stand against a being so primal and so powerful, one of the only beings who could truly challenge the gods and potentially wipe them out... She made a clawed gesture over her heart and pushed it forward - an ancient hand gesture for warding off evil.

"... I recognize that shrine. It's not the one here at New Rome... That's the shrine to my father in Tartarus," she said, blood draining from her face. "We're going into the pit."

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus -- THE ROAD
Skills: Stamina; Sword-Fighting

Ezekiel’s eyes narrowed as the Centaur’s broke from the tree line and started to come after them. He narrowly avoided the Centaur’s blow dart while the other two girls had their hands full. He was just bringing another arrow up to fire when the net was thrown over him and he was pulled down and was starting to be drug away. He cursed from the pain of shifting arrows and dirt getting into his wounds. He reached up and snapped the arrow in his shoulder so it wasn’t so long and did the same with the one in his leg before he started to grab and pull at the net. He roared in frustration and fear as he was still being drug away.
Kristin was there a moment later, cutting him free and the ease in his chest he felt after that was incredible. He didn’t have time to thank Kristin though. He got the pendant out of his pants pocket and pushed back up to his feet, grunting in pain as he did so. He pushed the button at the center of the sun and the pendant transformed. Ezekiel swung around with his sword, gripping the hilt with two hands and attacked the nearest Centaur.
He roared his frustration again as he hacked into the Centaur, killing him after a few deadly slices. The roaring was a way for Ezekiel to vent his pain and breathe. He was breathing heavily through the pain and adrenaline of the moment. He turned after the Centaur turned to dust and narrowed his sights on another one. He stepped forward, ignoring the burning pain shooting in his leg and thrust his sword into another Centaur, killing it as well. Two Centaurs remained.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Top Deck
Skills:

Demetri had to give Mary some props, she was definitely a lot cooler than he had given her credit for. Sure she went a tad bit far in his respects but she'd learn how to mess about properly soon enough he was sure. Everyone kept telling him that Romans and Greeks don't get along. Yet no one would tell him why? Sure aside from the literal history, there appeared to be something Camp Halfblood had actually done to them. Marty emphasized how important it was to act on their best behavior while there and Demetri couldn't help but wonder just how he'd muck things up. Hopefully he would get along swimmingly and use his charming personality to win over a few hearts in the Roman sector. He gave pause for a moment as he began to wonder the logistics of a Roman/Greek Demi baby and how exactly that might play out. Did the two halves make each other stronger? Or would thr two human halves dilute the godly blood? Perhaps because its half of each it would just stay Demi-godhood.

Demetri had completely zoned out of the conversation, staring blankly into thr space as he fixated on his own thoughts of demi-god relationships, only Snapping back as he noticed Alannah staring at him as if she had asked a question. "Right, um I have a question. How long till we're off this massive death trap and onto Roman territory? Also are there certain ettiquites we should follow so as to not muck this up? Should I wear a toga perhaps? Also whats the policy on mingling with the Romans, can we make friends or are we strictly to do business and make allies, because personally I find that friendship makes the best ally." surely something he said in there matched what Alannahs inquisitive look demanded of him...right?

Leandra Lovelace

Location: New Rome - The Senate House -> Outside the Senate House
Skills:

Leandra let out a soft cooing sound as the adorable little baby took hold of her hand and began to gnaw on it. That small, welcomed distraction was enough to, for the most part, take her mind off the past meeting, leaving only a little bit of a bad taste in her mouth. Leandra didn't have any plans of having children in her future, at least not while she was mortal. She had so much to do, and only one lifetime to do it, so she suspected raising a child wouldn't ever fit into her agendas. Unless, of course, she ascended to become an immortal, in which case it would only be a matter of time. Besides, there were a number of kids in her cohort that she did her best to mentor, and that had to amount to something. Leandra's head lifted up from the baby when Maggie made her offer, the younger blonde's eyes lighting up, a smile on her face.

"Oh, you are nothing less than a saint, Madame Ortega, don't let anyone tell you differently," she said, her voice as genuinely grateful as it got. She lightly pulled her hand away from the baby as she and Maggie made their way outside, "Only a fool would deny such an offer." Leandra paused a moment, her index finger, adorned with a sharp pink nail, rested on her lower lip in such away that, were she to pull it swiftly down, it'd likely open up a wound that would be visible for weeks. She thought for a few moments on how to best use this newly offered resource before giving a single nod, dropping her hand from her lips.

"Alright, I know what's to be done. Once I've grouped Cohort 4 is together, I'll separate them into two groups: Probatios and children under thirteen, who are more in need of training, and Legionnaires fourteen and up. The Probatios and the children will be trained by whatever ex-Legionnaires you're capable of supplying. For now, they should be training with spear fighting. It's simple, but effective. Those who are new to fighting will pick it up quickly, and will be able to keep up with those who've been training for a while now. As for the Legionnaires fourteen and older, they'll be splitting up into two more groups. One will be training, and the other will be preparing for the Greeks. They'll switch every...hour and a half. And when it's our turn to help Alexia with setting traps, we'll all break from our tasks and do so." Leandra's long-winded explanation of her plan was given in a certain and business-like manner, as if she were seeing it play out perfectly in front of her. Once she was done, she turned her head slightly, giving Maggie a small smile. "Thank you again for your help. I do believe it could end up saving a number of lives."

Arthur Stanford

Location:Arthur's room

Rocking in a fetal position, Arthur's throat was burning and his head was pounding. Everything hurt, his reality had gone through the shredder three times in the past two weeks, first when he found out gods were real, then when his sister died, and now that his friend was murdered in front of him. Hearing a knock at his door, he tensed up, ready to lash out, but at hearing Andy's voice, a part of him calmed down. He found his arms clambering up to the doorknob, and pulling it open for her, saying nothing for a few moments.

Exhaling, and crawling out from behind the door, he made eye contact with her, his lips trembling. "It isn't fair." He said, his voice wounded. He wanted for everything to stop. He'd have taken going back to that accursed boarding school over staying here, if it meant all of his friends still being alive. He had tears streaming down his face still, and he just said, "I... I don;t know how to go on. I just... don't." Almost whimpering, he wanted somebody to tell him everything would be alright, but he knew nobody could do that.

Andy entered Arthur's room and pulled him into a hug. She didn't know what to say. She hadn't had friends until coming to camp and she couldn't imagine what her life would be like without it. It hadn't even been very long that she had been there, and it was already home. Something she could easily say she had never felt before.

"I'm here. I know I can't promise that I'll always be here, but I'll do my best." Andy didn't know to express what she felt for Arthur, she just didn't have the words for it. She wanted to make sure he was okay and always wanted to be by his side. No matter what. She wanted him to be happy and around her. "We've got each other's backs right? Always?"

How could an undereducated ten-year-old girl explain to someone she had only met a few weeks prior that they were the only reason they hadn't run away? Between Arthur and Demi Andy had found a family and home at camp half-blood.

Niah's heart dropped into the pit of her stomach. That was nothing compared to what lay before them. She took a few deep breaths trying to keep herself calm. Everything else in her brain had ground to a halt as fear tore through her. There was no way to prepare for it. No secret tunnel that the engineers could build for a secret escape or reinforcements. Niah considered taking a drink from Nancy's flask as well, in the end, she decided against it. "This changes all of my plans."

Niah glanced at her notebook, the quick notes were useless. Would training the teams even matter? There was no sense of the war games if they weren't going to involve the whole camp. She might still keep the one planned for when the Greeks got here if just to have them understand their fighting technique.

"Side note, completely unrelated, why is there a shrine to Apollo there?" She looked at the painting again. "Related, why the gem from our quest?" There was something unnerving about it being in the painting. It had been the three of them to retrieve it, and now the three of them were going to deal with it again. Mostly these questions where rhetorical she didn't know if either Mads or Nancy had any actual idea of the answer.

Emily walked into the coffee shop of New Rome, she carried a hot plate of food. "Marco." Emily said as she walked up to the counter, her boyfriend was making coffee for a customer. "I got you some lunch. Can I have a cappuccino?" She asked.

"One cappuccino coming up for my pretty lady." Marco said giving her a little wink. Emily watched as he deftly started making her drink and she paid for it, sliding him the plate of food with the coins. She took her place waiting for her drink and when Marco handed it over she thanked him.

"I'll wait for you to get off your shift. The senator meeting went late so I bet Parker will be by for a drink soon." The Praetor's addiction to her sugary-sweet coffee was almost legendary. It was at least well known enough at the coffee shop that Emily almost knew Nancy's order by heart too. Emily would be surprised if Nancy went for food before she went for coffee. She figured if that happened it was a sign of the apocalypse.

Janelle Gauger

Location: On the road
Skills: Heightened Hearing

The chaos surrounding them involving the centaurs were not really ones to easily lose track of. For Janelle, the sounds of the fighting that was going on was incredibly loud, however it started to dim away as more and more of the centaurs fell, leaving just a few that needed to be dealt with. Concentrating for a moment after Kristin had dealt with the one about to attack her (she nodded her head in thanks towards Kristin) she could tell that there was one over by Zeke, but another one was a lot closer. It was directly behind Kristin.

"Look out!" she called, before she swung her bo staff around and went to smack the centaur. However her hit wasn't really smacking the centaur over the head, oh no, she had gotten a much luckier shot off then that as she managed to stab the creature in the eye and manages to kill it instantly. She felt the centaur turn to dust and lowered her staff slightly, before she instantly jumped over towards the other one and managed to jab it fairly hard, making it so that it was clear the centaur wouldn't last much longer. "We need to get moving!"

"Not to mention one bad experience with a goose and you give them all a bad name. Honestly that is so rude to geese as a whole," Mary added in with the last comment about why Demetri's choice of animal was stupid. The conversation turned to what pranks Zeke pulled and she nodded her head in agreement over the comments about what he has done to the children of Iris. "If you think what I did was a cheap shot you haven't been around Zeke for very long if you think he wouldn't pull something like that."

She glanced towards Alannah and shook her head, "Nope, nothing from me, though if Demetri annoys me anymore considering he calls this thing a death trap he might find himself falling from the sky suddenly. Such a weird thought," she said with a shrug as Leda said she was going to leave her in the room with Demetri. "Thanks Leda, so happy to know that you are going to leave me to endure the torment that is being anywhere near Demetri for the next few hours alone, so nice to me," she added towards her friend, but gave her a bit of a smirk, since she was pretty sure that she had a thing for Kiera.

"...So note to self, never piss off the gods," he spoke up once Hecate had left the area entirely. Though he was pretty sure since they were gods that she probably heard him anyway. His mind was still not accepting the fact that he just watched someone get turned into a goldfish which then got eaten by a god's pet ferret. Nope that totally did not just happen. However there was no other explanation and he was currently sitting there arguing with his mind over whether this was even real life at all.

His attention was drawn away by Rebecca as she mentioned potentially altering the memories of the two kids over what just happened to Mona. The thoughts then turned to what had happened when his and Janelle's parents had died and he shook his head at her. "I'll be 'ahnest, it probably isn't a good idea, sence if dey find out de truth later, dat whole plan'll backfire. When I lahst me parents, it was 'ard, but it was somethin I 'ad to learn to deal wit, and it 'elped me be a better persahn, and brahther, towards my sister. Argo III Crew Deck:

Lauryn went over and sat down on a chair, letting out a slight sigh she hadn't been expecting to see anyone end up dying right away either on this trip to Camp Jupiter. She looked over at both Rebecca and Jason as she suggested altering Arthur's memories, she had to agree with Jason it would be a pretty bad idea. Seeing a lot of movies and TV shows where one person had their memories altered or changed never really turned out to well and that person either had a mental breakdown or turned evil.

"I'm with the new kid, it isn't really a good idea. But still should at least offer it to him if he wants, with his consent. But if he agrees to it, have him write down what happened, just in case he does remember anything and explain why he did agree to it. That's just my thoughts on the whole situation, I do feel really bad for him, and I wish that there was a way I could help I didn't know Arthur's two friends that well honestly." Lauryn said as she stood up looking over at the two of them. "Anyway those are my thoughts, if you guys need me i'll be in the engine room." Lauryn said as she started to leave the galley and made her way down to the third deck where the engine room itself was.

Camp Jupiter Outside of the Senate Building:

The little baby boy would reach over and gave Leandra's hair a rather hard tug, and the little baby started to giggle madly as he did it a few more times. Maggie smiled as she gently pried her son off of Leandra's hands and held him up in her arms, she was a little bit annoyed being called Madame, she didn't hold any title anymore aside from just working mostly as a reserve member of the legion like most ex-legionnaires were. "Just Maggie is fine, i'm not a Praetor anymore." She said while gently holding her son in her arms and listened to Leandra of her plans. "I'll ask around, not sure how many volunteers i'll be able to scrounge up." Maggie said as she continued to walk a little bit more.

"Though I do have a word of advice, as a former Praetor myself it is best to not get them angry. After all I was the one to originally endorse Madalyne and Nancy for the last election." Maggie said, as she winced slightly when her son started to yank at her hair, but she didn't fight against it. Maggie was known for being a more kind and gentle Praetor, since there weren't any major conflicts around during her time either. "With what has been said in the meeting you'll need to have the full backing of them, being a Praetor is a very hard job. They will have a hard road ahead of them and make tough calls as well. Anyway i'll ask Jasper for some help and help you out as well." Maggie then turned and started to make her way back home.

Camp Jupiter New Rome Coffee Shop:

Over at the coffee shop in New Rome Alexia Fernández had just entered the coffee shop, limping slightly into the room she had a bad leg for a very long time now but she was still able to serve the Legion without any issues at all. She was Camp Jupiter's best mechanic and engineer that they had to offer as well. As she made her way over towards the front register. She looked over at Marco and smiled towards him seeing Emily there as well Alexia waved at her. "Hi you two." She said as she looked at the menu for what she wanted to have.

"I'll just have a black coffee with six shots of crème and sugar as well?" Alexia asked as she fished into her pocket and pulled out a few denarius coins from her pocket, New Rome and Camp Jupiter's currency unlike Camp Half-Blood's drachma over to him. "How are you guys doing?" Alexia asked, the store itself was somewhat packed but everything was quiet for the most part, with ex and current members of the legion having some coffee and a quick bite to eat as well it was lunch time after all as well.

Location: The Argo III, Upper Deck -> Third Deck Engineering.
Skills: N/A

Alannah looked at Demetri and shrugged slightly, she wasn't really there to hear the Iris Call that Leda and Kiera had made as she thought for a moment. "Assuming we are giving them a heads up this time just make friends with them, and just talk about the prophecy that we all have seen pretty much. Just don't do anything weird or dumb to piss them off, other than that we just stick together and no wonder off from the others." Alannah answered before Kiera stepped in and answer.

"They said they would make a landing site outside of Camp Jupiter for us and give them a heads up when we are going to land." Kiera said, looking over at Leda, she blushed deeply for a moment and smiled at her and nodded. "I'd be down for sure, the third deck seemed good enough." Kiera said looking at Mary and laughed slightly she didn't envy her having to deal with Demetri there either.

"Well like I said earlier, two or three days at most our two pitstops will slow us down but that's how long it'll take." Alannah told him and looked over at Mary. "Don't worry i'll keep the two of you company so that way you two don't bite each others heads off." Alannah said jokingly, as Kiera turned around and started to make her way towards the stairs, and made her way down to the engineering deck. There was enough room to train for the moment, the door to the engine room itself was closed for some reason. "So, let me see what you got?" Kiera said smiling as she took out her two swords in her hands from her necklace, she certainly liked Leda, and it would be a lot of fun to get to know each other some more.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter, The Augury
Skills: N/A

Alexandra looked at Nancy for a moment, and nodded slightly taking the flask with shaky hands and took a sip from it before handing it back to her half sister. "Thank you.." Alexandra said as she stared at the painting and shivered slightly, everything was a huge blur when the vision happened. She wasn't even sure how to answer Niah's question why there was even a shrine to Apollo in Tartarus either, and shrugged slightly. "I don't know." She told her, as Madalyne stared at the painting, she had the gem in her safe over at her villa to keep it safe she was scared of it as well after handling it when they were on their quest and never took it out at all either.

"First of all, how does one even get into Tartarus anyway?" Madalyne asked looking at the three of them, Alexandra just shrugged, all Madalyne could remember was that two Greek demigods. Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase had fallen in there in the first place on accident and managed to get out of there alive during the war with Gaia. "I need some coffee like a lot of it.." Madalyne said knowing that it was going to be a long next few days.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: On the road again.
Skills: Spear Fighting

Kristin looked at Janelle and smiled towards her, already liking Janelle's skill she was picking it up rather quickly. "Thanks for the save Janelle." Kristin said, having not realizing that the centaur was right behind her, her attention now turned towards the one that Janelle had wounded really badly. She charged forward stabbing her spear directly into the centaur's side and it instantly burst into dust, sighing to herself. Kristin quickly dug into her pack and handed Zeke her bottle of nectar.

"Are you okay Zeke?" Kristin asked once Zeke drank his wounds would start to heal up rather quickly, though the area would still be tender to the touch. Kristin didn't hear anything or really sense that there were any monsters in the area her guard was still up though, just as she saw a rather large tow truck coming into view now. "Well I guess they came here to replace the wheels." Kristin said looking over at Janelle. "You did really good." She said smiling towards her.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - the Galley
Skills: N/A

Rebecca sighed slightly, but she had to concede Jason's point. It would be healthier for Arthur and Andy if they were allowed to process their grief, rather than having their memories altered. She was surprised that a child of Ares could have such wisdom and grace - perhaps she had misjudged Jason's emotional range earlier from his altercation with Demetri. "No, you two are right... If Arthur asks for a magical remedy, I'll give it to him... But I won't offer it." Arthur might not even have the emotional maturity to make an informed decision anyways. The daughter of Hecate sat down at one of the tables in the galley as Lauryn got up and left for the engine room, leaving her alone with Jason. She cusped her hands, before looking at Jason.

"My mother is... complicated," she started, feeling that he was owed an explanation of sorts. "She's a titan. In the first war, she sided with the gods. It was in the second war that she sided against them with the Crooked One..." Rebecca's words drifted off. "She wasn't worshipped like the Olympians. It's relatively recent for the children of minor gods to be recognized at Camp Half-blood... She's the goddess with three faces. She isn't a force purely for good or for evil... My mother believes that everyone should forge their own path and make their own choices, even if the result may be death."

Rebecca fell silent, not really sure what she was trying to tell Jason. Was she trying to apologize for her mother killing Mona? No. Rebecca understood what her mother did and why - and if Rebecca looked deeply within herself, she would have done the same thing in her mother's position. She would have made the display of power to demand respect.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck -> Third Deck / Engineering
Skills: Sword Fighting and Agility

Leda huffed slightly, annoyed with the son of Zeus again. She was fairly certain that Alannah or Lauryn had already mentioned how long their travel time was going to be - hypocritically, Leda had already forgotten that fact. It didn't stop her from being irritated with Demetri though. "Yes, you have to wear a toga - it's considered rude if you don't," she told him, trying to keep a straight face. "You also have to quack five times up at the sun, spin, and then kiss the ground." She couldn't help but snicker at her own joke. She shrugged at Mary, giving her an expression that said something like players gotta play. "If it makes you feel any better Mary, at least Zeke isn't here."

She then flashed the peace sign at her friend before leaving with Kiera.

The engineering deck was an interesting choice. Leda would have preferred to stay up on the top deck, that way she could feel the breeze as they fought. She loved open skies. "I have to warn you, luv, I've been training for three years," Leda told Kiera with a smirk. She pulled down on her pendant and it transformed into her glowing Celestial Bronze sword, Ultraviolet. Its color matched her mood. Currently, it was a playful pink.

Leda loved sword fighting. It also happened to be a useful skill for the modern demigod trying to stay alive, so she practiced quite a bit. She swung her sword at Kiera, hitting Kiera's blades - and in a bit of a sneaky movement, she kicked at Kiera and knocked her to the ground. Leda pointed the tip of her sword at Kiera's neck. "So, whatcha gonna do, Water Girl?"

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - the Augury
Skills: N/A

Nancy shook her head slightly, staring at the shrine in the painting. She had no idea why there was a shrine to her father in Tartarus - all she really could figure was that it must have fallen down the pit somehow. Maybe someone had been angry with him - there was no shortage of people in Roman Mythology harmed by Apollo - and had decided to chuck the shrine down the pit. "Maybe someone yuuted it down the pit?" Nancy suggested, trying to use the lingo of the current generation. "Tartarus is part of the Underworld, so we have to get to the Underworld first... There's an entrance somewhere in New York City we can use," she recalled. A cross country road trip with her best friends sounded totally bitchin' - unfortunately, Leandra and a bunch of random Greek demigods would be involved as well.

She wished someone would gag her with a spoon.

Nancy put her flask away, after securely closing it. She didn't want to have nectar sloshing all over her clothes. There was so much they didn't know - why the gem was important, why there was a shrine to Apollo, and even the precise identities of all the demigods involved in this. "Coffee sounds like a tubular idea," she agreed. "I say we get some grande or venti coffees, tell the Fourth Cohort Centurion that we don't need her to build traps after all and to focus on the landing pad for the Greeks. We should still do the War Games... It'll be a good distraction. And maybe we can find records somewhere of a shrine to dear old dad in Tartarus."

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus -- THE ROAD
Skills:

Ezekiel shifted, ready to take on more Centaurs if he needed to. He could keep pushing through the pain, the adrenaline was working great. He watched in awe as Janelle killed one and seriously wounded the other before Kristin finished it off. Ezekiel looked around, double checking they were save, at least for the time before he pushed the hilt of the sword and it retracted back into the sun pendant. Ezekiel groaned as he brought himself to the ground and examined his wounds.
Ezekiel opened up his pack and pulled out some disinfectant and cleaned up his hands before he gritted his teeth and plunged his fingers into his leg to remove the arrowhead. Blood soaked his pant leg and covered his fingers as Ezekiel fished out the arrowhead. Ezekiel breathed deeply, feeling a wave of dizziness but managed to give Kristin a sly look when she asked how he was doing. ”Better than the broken arm,” he joked. In his previous quest with Kristin, Ezekiel had broken a few bones, including his arm and he never wanted a broken bone again if he could manage it.
Before Ezekiel took the offered nectar from Kristin, even though he had a bottle of his own, he plunged his fingers into his shoulder and removed the second arrow head. He took the nectar from Kristin with his uninjured arm and drank from it gratefully. ”Do you mind rinsing those off for me? I’ll keep them to craft new arrows,” Ezekiel explained to Kristin.
After his wounds started to close up and the dizziness left him, he looked over at Janelle. ”Bad ass move back there stabbing the Centaur in the eye by the way. Some serious trust you have in your abilities that some of us are still having to learn,” he complimented. Sure, in the heat of battle all of the demi-gods natural abilities took over but they could still see what they were doing. They could trust more easily what they were doing in that sense.

"Oh the meeting is over then? I guess I should have her usual order ready soon then, huh?" Marco chuckled a bit at that. "I should also put it in a to-go cup because I'm sure our Praetor will be on the move, given if what I'm hearing whispers of are true. Two meetings in one day." He sighed at that as his attention was diverted to the woman entering the shop and he smiled a bit as Alexia walked into the shop.

"Hey Alexia... so one I'll just have a black coffee with six shots of cream and sugar as well for you? Can do." Marco turned over to the coffee carafs and checked them over to find the freshest of their black coffee and went to put in the six shots of cream and one sugar, before adding the bitter dark liquid and stirred it all together for Alexia. He took the payment and put it into the cash drawer full of mixed currency. Most paid in denarius, some in mortal cash, and he did have the rare drachma in his cash drawer due to some old interactions with the Greeks. Not in his life time, but...

"I'm doing well, how are you doing?" He gently pushed the cup of coffee over to her and smiled at that.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Top Deck
Skills:

Demetri nodded along as they answered his questions. It was nice to know he could at least try to make friends with some Romans. After all, building a bridge could serve to boon both parties if future doomsdays were to occur. He was full glad to see he hit it spot on with the toga, cocking his head slightly as Leda mentioned something about quaking at the sun. Demetri rolled his eyes at her as he crossed his arms "Ha ha. Very funny. I'm not that daft, just making sure we're all polite and following customs if we really are in dire straights with them." He gave the girl a reverse peace sign as she walked away. Looking over to the other two in the room now and seeing that hed be stuck with them for a while.

"Welp, I suppose out of the gingers on this ship I could do worse. Don't need a kid of Ares throwing a tantrum inside a control room ya know?" Demetri wore a warm smile towards the pair, having it slowly fade as his eyes drifted towards the floor. He was worried about the other three, how they were doing, and if they were even alive. It was nerve wracking having absolutely no information about the ones risking their lives while they play sky pirate's and embassadors. "Hey...you think they're alright? Kristin, Zeke, and the new girl? I know they're Demi-gods and all but...shes blind, Zekes reckless, and I'm sure Kristin's pulling her hairs out by now. Is there any chance to you know...Iris message them or something? Make sure they're fine? They are our Siblings and Cousins after all."

Arthur Stanford

Location:Arthur's room

Arthur held her tight, it felt like she was the only fixture in his life at this point, and even still, he'd only recently met her. Still, things felt alright in her arms, and that was something he needed right now. None of this was okay, but he was able to forget that for a few moments that the world was like this. Standing up, and bringing Andy up along with him, he rested his head on her shoulder. "Thank you Andy. I've got your back, always." He meant it too, by everything he stood for, he would never allow Andy to come to harm, he'd sooner die than lose another he loved.

Pulling away from her, he said, albeit a little numbly, "Let's get back to the others, they have to be worried about us." He smiled at her, trying to find some peace in where they were now. A part of him wondered if they had to go on quests after this, or if they could end things after this, live out life at camp, and stay safe. A retirement like that sounded nice to him, he wanted people around him to stop being in danger, and he wanted to be able to relax for awhile. Before he stepped out of the room though, he slipped his hand over hers, and took her hand in his. He gave her a slight smile. He didn't want to be away from her right now, it felt safe when they were together.

Andy nodded; she felt warmed by Arthur's hug and his hand in her own. A part of her wanted to stay in his room and just keep being alone with just him. There was so much going on around them all the time. At camp, they had diversions, but here it was just their fellow demigods. But she followed him out of his room and back to the galley, holding his hand the whole time.

Andy had never really felt love before coming to camp, so she couldn't be sure that was what she was experiencing. Even the love of a sibling that she had with Demi was all new. She had a small smile on her face, more peaceful than anything. There was still the sadness and stress of their loss written on her features. She carried it in her shoulders and eyes.

"She was still at the Senate building talking with Maggie, who offered her help. I suppose that is less important now. She might have information on Tartus." Niah doubted that last bit since Maggie had had a peaceful time as Preator. Niah didn't bother trying to correct Nancy's use of 'yeet.' It was a dumb word anyway; if she wanted to make it sound even sillier, she could Niah supposed.

"Let's get caffeine first." Niah didn't care for the bitterness of coffee, even when it was hidden by as much sugar as possible, making her caffeine of choice was tea. "If we run into Leandra, we can tell her she can re-adjust her schedule yet again." Niah sighed, considered the simplicity of her early life at camp while wishing for the ability to not be in charge again. Those were the good days. Maybe she should have lied when she came to camp and said she didn't have a letter from her mother even if it had kept her from having to shovel elephant poop.

"Hey Alexia." Emily said with a smile. The engineer was an interesting cookie. Em liked her well enough, but honestly, it wasn't hard to be liked by Em. As long as you weren't an ass, her naturally sunny disposition made it easy to chat with her. "Not much here. Other than the usual fifth cohort life." She grinned. "Got some nice manure from Hannibal for this seasons planting." It was dirty and gross, but hey, it was good for the plants.

"You know I don't think it is black coffee when you add creme to it." Emily joked, then shrugged. "But who am I to talk about the fine balance of coffee blends. I could talk about wine all day, though." Emily's grin grew. She was known for skating the edge of rule-breaking, though she opted for coffee while in New Rome, everyone knew Emily had two future career options. One was psychology, and one was becoming a vintner. She'd be fantastic in either.

"But enough about me. How has your morning been so far? Anything interesting?" Her tone shifted, became softer and caring. Emily always sounded like she cared about how other people were feeling. Unless they decided to bring up politics, then her brain would shut off, and she'd zone out. It seemed she was incapable of processing politics.

Leandra Lovelace

Location: New Rome - Outside the Senate House
Skills:

Leandra winced as she felt the infant yank down on her hair. She was just as down for a little hair-pulling as the next person, but not when it was a child, and definitely not while she was on the clock. Despite her displeasure, however, her only reaction was a grunt as she began unwinding her hair from the baby’s hand. Once she was free, she ran her claw-like fingers through her locks to straighten them out once again. She didn’t respond to Maggie when she insisted Leandra call her by her first name, only nodding when the older woman voiced her intention to go start looking for volunteers. Leandra was readying herself to go and get her people ready, when Maggie spoke up. Leandra turned to her, her smile giving way to a frown. The woman was pleasant enough, and she didn’t want to antagonize her. Usually, she chose to play friendly with her, allowing the woman’s vilification of her during the praetor elections to go unspoken. But the fact that Maggie brought it up seemed to sour Leandra’s mood a bit.

”You’re asking me to grovel at the feet of those in power. That’s something I cannot do, and something I should not be asked to do. The role of a leader should be to serve the people, and whether they like it or not, that includes me. If you’re suggesting I fear their fury, then you are casually admitting to the corruption inherent in the system.” Her words were ridged, without room for doubt left in them. She paused, letting out a soft huff from her nose. ”I will help them, but I will do so in the same way always have. When it comes time for them to make those difficult decisions you spoke of, I will not hide my opinion on which they should make. And if they choose wrong, I will be the first to ridicule them when their decisions cause our people harm. That is my duty. To New Rome and her people.” Leandra turned her back to Maggie, raising a hand in farewell. ”’Till next we meet, Maggie, darling.” with that, she sauntered off to gather her cohort.

Argo III Upper Deck:

Alannah looked over at Demetri when he asked if there was a way to get an Iris Message out to Kristin, Zeke and Janelle she could understand his worry for they group especially Janelle who was new to the group. "You could ask Leda or Kiera if you could send out an Iris Message to them, or if you can find a way to make a rainbow of your own you could send one yourself. Though seeing that the two girls have gone off to the lower deck to train probably wouldn't be the best to disturb them." Alannah said as she went over and sat down at the captain's chair to take part of her watch. "I'll keep watch over here if you two would like to patrol on the outside." Alannah said to both Mary and Demetri. "Oh and technically no one is a sibling unless you are from your own godly parent. Otherwise some of the couples around camp would be just really weird." Alannah mentioned cringing slightly imagining a kid of Poseidon and Athena actually being blood related would be just really weird, blood relations with other demigods didn't really matter either.

Argo III Crew Deck:

Arthur, and Andy would be able to find both Rebecca and Jason still within the galley, Hecate had disappeared nothing remained from her little presence to the group, and Lauryn had gone off to the engine room to tend to things down in there.

Camp Jupiter Outside of the Senate Building:

"I was not saying to bend the knee to them as it were, all I am saying is trying to publicly push their buttons like that is not very professional. The way that things happened in the senate floor weren't professional, disputes are completely understandable but doing that to your Praetors is not right." Maggie said as she held her little kid in her arms, elections were a little bit different in New Rome when electing new Praetors.

There were elections like usual and then special circumstances when a Praetor stepped down for whatever reason, they were sometimes given in the middle of a battle or sometimes after it as well. "Madalyne and Nancy received their Praetorships when they went on their quest a year ago, that is also why I gave them the Praetorship once the votes were made official within the senate as well." Maggie said as Leandra turned to leave letting out a slight sigh. "Also I believe Alexia is within the coffee shop if you are looking for her." Maggie called out before she turned and headed off in the opposite direction.

Camp Jupiter New Rome Coffee Shop:

Alexia smiled once Marco handed her the cup of coffee for her, and started to take a sip from it, enjoying the taste of it. "I'm doing well thank you." She said giving him a friendly smile before turning and taking a seat at a nearby table that was close to the registers so that way she could keep chatting with Emily and Marco with ease. "Eww I remember being a Probatio and having to do Hannibal manure removal that isn't a fun job at all." Alexia said cringing slightly, everyone who was new to the Legion had to do the horrible jobs except for First and Second Cohorts they usually got away with doing some of the more manual labor around Camp Jupiter.

Alexia shrugged slightly she wasn't a connoisseur of coffee, her usual order was what she always had. "And I could talk about tech and engineering all day." Alexia said teasingly and she shrugged slightly. "The usual stuff, running drills telling the other Legionnaires and the lower ranks to do their job usually, you know how it goes." Alexia said shrugging slightly. "What about you two love birds?" She asked.

Kiera Donovan

Location: The Argo III, Upper Deck -> Third Deck Engineering.
Skills: Hydrokinesis, Swords

"Well i'm certainly open for any kind of pointers." Kiera said with a playful smile, as Leda charged at her first, feeling the wind getting knocked out of her, and being knocked down on her ass. Letting out a slight groan as she looked at Leda's sword pointed right at her neck. She certainly wasn't expecting to get knocked down so quickly, as she started to get a bit of an idea and smirked back as she held out her hand and a blast of water came rushing out. Sending Leda backwards, drenching the daughter of Iris completely with water in the process.

Kiera then swung her sword, managing to disarm Leda, and smirked at her before offering her hand to help Leda back up. "You look a little bit wet." She said with a slight laugh, and then kicked Leda's sword back over towards her, she was certainly having some fun as well, Kiera turned towards the door to the engine room seeing Lauryn sticking her head out seeing the two sparing and smiled slightly. "Sorry i'll let you guys be." Lauryn said as she closed the door to the engine room and made her way back towards the upper decks now.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Jupiter, The Augury -> New Rome, Coffee Shop

"Okay you three can go now, god you two really suck with current lingo." Alexandra said feeling better now as she looked at Madalyne, Niah and Nancy. "If anything else comes to mind i'll let you three know." She told them, as Madalyne laughed slightly she already pretty much adjusted easily to modern day things, though she still found the current lingo just really weird in her own opinion as well. "Alright we will leave you now." Madalyne said shaking her head slightly she turned and started to head out. "Oh i'm sure Leandra would love to really change her schedule around again, seriously she has some weird fixation with that." Madalyne said shaking her head slightly she didn't understand how any of that was interesting or fun at all really.

She made her way out of the Senate building, she didn't really care that she was still in her Praetor robes right now, she really was itching to get some coffee and caffeine in her system or just a hot chocolate as well. She walked along the streets of New Rome, seeing Terminus stopping some Legionnaires at the city limits requesting their weapons. "So, whos paying this time?" Madalyne asked jokingly as she made it to the coffee shop and opened the door, seeing Alexia, Marco and Emily in there and waved at them all.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: On the road again.

Kristin looked at Zeke and nodded towards him as she cringed slightly holding the arrow heads covered in Zeke's blood. "Eww Zeke blood nasty." Kristin said sarcastically as she dug into her pack and pulled out her water bottle and rinsed the arrow heads in water and tossed them back to Zeke. The nectar would kick in rather quickly for Zeke as the wounds started to heal now as well, Kristin gently nudged Janelle and smiled. "You did great Janelle." Kristin said as she made her way towards the bus now that the tow truck was going to repair the bus's wheels and replace them temporarily.

There was then an announcement from the bus driver. "Sorry about that folks, we will be driving to the nearest rest stop where another bus will be there to take care of the rest of you all." He said, once Zeke and Janelle got onto the bus and then the driver was on his way again, like nothing had happened The Mist worked really well for the mortals and didn't even see the three kids fighting the monsters.

Janelle was glad that the remaining centaurs were gone, and she shifted her bo staff back into her standard cane to allow her more easily move about. She turned her head towards the direction of the voices of the others, and just shrugged slightly. "I mean, you 'ave to learn to do de best dat you can wit what you 'ave. I can't see, so I 'ave to trust my other senses to deal wit movin around, it's nothin special really, joehst a standard din for me," she said simply as the others complimented what she had managed to do. To her it wasn't a big deal, after all, it was just something she dealt with normally.

When she heard that they could get back on the bus, she spoke up again, "Let's get goin den, no time like de present to get back ahn track fahr de quest. it's gonna be a bet o' a long ride stell if we 'ave to swetch to a different bus," Janelle said to them before she headed back onto the bus and took a seat by Kristin. "So... That was fun to deal with wasn't it?" she said towards her, not really too sure what else to really say regarding the situation and just hoping that they could get on with the quest and move on from the centaur attack.

"Honestly at this point Leda I'd probably prefer Zeke's company to this idiot," Mary called after her friend as she left the wheelhouse to go see about sparring with Kiera. The fact that Leda clearly had a thing for Kiera definitely made everything even more hilarious as she watched them go off. Turning towards Demetri and his comments about redheads, she rolled her eyes at him, "As for the red head comment you would definitely be surprised, and if you want to make that comment again I'll see about knocking you out cold without a care in the world, so how about you stop being a bit rude about it?"

"Yeah, you need to have some sort of rainbow or whatever in order to pull that off, though I can understand the wanting to know how they're doing. But I mean, we can't exactly do anything right now and interrupting Kiera and Leda right now I doubt would be a good idea," Mary said, shaking her head slightly as Demetri also made a comment about everyone being related. "Yeah, please don't mention all of that, since otherwise there would be a lot of incest or something like that," she added to what Alannah said making a bit of a face as she took to Alannah's suggestion and headed outside to keep watch out there.

Jason Gauger

Location: Flying Ship - The Galley

He was somewhat glad that Lauryn agreed with his thoughts relating to the entire thing that Rebecca had mentioned about altering the memories of the kids. It was nice that someone had flat out agreed with him on the subject, since there were so many things that could go wrong regarding that, not just Arthur and Andy getting their memories back later on, but they'd probably ask about Mona the instant they got back to camp, and then having them find out the truth then. It just was not going to work out at all, no matter what people thought about it. At least Rebecca seemed to be understanding the issue of sorts with that whole idea.

After Lauryn left he listened to Rebecca's words as she more or less somewhat explained things about her mother Hecate and how things sort of worked regarding Camp Half-Blood in relation to the more minor gods. "I'll be 'onest... Dat kind o' sounds weird, dat de minor gods don't get de same recognition as de main ahnes. Or at least dedn't as you said. Dat whole din wit wantin people to fahrge their own paths makes sense too, boeht den again if dat was de case she prahbably wouldn't quite just kell someone right ahff de bat like dat, though I totally get de whole din dat dat girl kend o' insulted a goddess to 'er face. Dat's kind o' just suicide," he said, before he glanced over at Andy and Arthur as the pair came back into the Galley, falling silent.

Rebecca nodded slightly as Jason spoke. She didn't really know what to say in defense of her mother, but then again, her mother didn't need her to defend her. Just like any other god, Hecate had multiple sides to her, varying aspects that governed her decisions. Andy and Arthur reentering the galley saved her from having to continue the conversation with Jason anyways. She opened her mouth, about to ask Arthur if he wanted to begin his necromancy lessons now, but she then closed it again. It wasn't the right time. Arthur and Andy were clearly grieving, with two of the demigods they had come to Camp Half-blood with dead.

"Blessed be, Arthur, Andy," Rebecca greeted softly. "How can I help you?" she then asked plainly. She didn't know what would provide them comfort. Everyone grieved differently. Maybe they would want to hear stories of Greek Mythology, maybe Arthur would ask if it was possible to raise the dead permanently, maybe they would want to continue to learn to manipulate the Mist. Maybe they would just want to play a game and pretend they were normal kids for a while, although normal was an impossibility now. Their lives had changed permanently, for better or for worse.

She paused for a moment. "Did you know that in toddlers, their adult teeth are right underneath their eyes?"

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - Third Deck / Engineering
Skills: Rainbow Manipulation

Leda was pushed backwards by the roaring wave of water, completely soaked. Her blonde hair looked almost brown from the water it had absorbed. Her clothes were clinging to her skin and her shoes had filled up with water. Her feet felt like a spongey, mossy mess. She tried not to focus on that sensation too much, instead paying attention to the fight. She grabbed her sword as Kiera shoved it over towards her, standing back up to her feet. "I don't think I'm the only one who's wet," Leda said coyly.

She then held out her hand. Her skin started to glow various shades of the rainbow and sparkle like a Twilight Vampire. She shot off a beam of light at Kiera, missing at first. "That one was a warning shot," she said, giggling. "This one's for real," she then added. She let off another shot, this time hitting the daughter of Poseidon and blasting her backwards. "Happy Pride Month, by the way." Even though June belonged to Hera, one of the nastier gods, it was also Pride Month and Leda was determined to enjoy it. Her mother after all was pretty much about as queer as a goddess could get, flying around and creating rainbows and pissing off homophobes across the world. It was a shame that not a lot of people knew about Iris.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: New Rome - the Augury -> Coffee Shop
Skills: N/A

"If we run into Leandra again today, I'm going to need an icepick lobotomy," Nancy complained. She couldn't stand the daughter of Cupid. Nancy knew that Leandra was jealous of her for being made praetor and likely believed that Nancy didn't have to work for a single thing in her life - even when it was the exact opposite. Her struggles and her accomplishments were her own - the only help her father had ever given her was the letter of recommendation for Camp Jupiter. Everything else she had to fight for - every bit of power she had to earn.

It wasn't that long of a walk from the Augury to the Coffee Shop. Nancy could walk the route to the shop blindfolded practically at this point, she went there so often. She usually went before and after Senate Meetings, first thing in the morning, right before dinner, after dinner... It was entirely possible that a significant portion of the profits came directly from Nancy's patronage. She didn't really have anything else to spend money on though. Meals for the Legion were provided, she had a bed to sleep in, and she wasn't really big on the new mortal tech and consumables. "I can pay," Nancy offered.

She spotted Leandra's partner, Alexia. Alexia didn't seem to be in support of the praetors or her co-centurion's actions, so Nancy was fine with her. Emily always put her on edge, as she was the child of Bacchus - one of Nancy's least favorite Roman gods. She got in line and once it was her turn up at the counter, she placed her order with Marco. She didn't know him outside of his function as an amazing barista. "I'll have a venti iced caramel mocha with three extra shots of caffeine and three extra pumps of caramel, please," Nancy recited. "And then, whatever Madalyne and Niah want," she added, gesturing at her companions. Nancy reached into her wallet and pulled out enough Denarius to pay for them all, plus a tip.
