Jason Liu

Pausing for a second as he heard someone else speak, Jason turned to his side, only to see a man with a rather abnormal amount of snacks in hand. Ignoring that, though, the comment about Gawain's capabilities made enough sense to the high schooler. The 'Sir' given as a title in regards to the defeated knight made him feel as if the man in front of him wasn't as unassuming as he let on. There was no particular reason to pry deeper into matters like that, though; that tidbit of information was enough to let Jason understand how it had gone... More or less.

"Is that so?" he asked, half-minding the cashier as he swiped his card to pay for his food. "How long has it been since Gawain entered the brackets, though? I don't think every match takes place in the day..."

Trailing off as he picked the sandwich back off the countertop, Jason instinctively flinched as he heard the sound of someone spitting out their drink not a few feet behind him. The cashier sighed and rolled his eyes, motioning for someone else to bring a mop over to clean the place up, but Jason was far more unlucky.

The soda had, after all, hit the back of his pants and some part of his backpack on its way out.

"Oh, come on..." he groaned, moving off to the side of the walkway to assess the damage done to both objects. After a few seconds of scanning them over, the young man turned towards the culprit and the student beside her expectantly.

An apology would be nice, but something about the way they kept themselves made him feel like that wasn't exactly going to happen.

Alter Ego - Meltryllis

"Spring... 2019..."

The year her Master stated confirmed Meltryllis' suspicions, and the mention of a metropolis built in the middle of the ocean immediately caught her attention. This state of affairs was completely separate from the data she had received about Earth; it was almost as if she had been summoned to some alternate reality in the past.

Which, all things considered, made most of what she had seen in the past few minutes make sense.

"Hmph. So it's one of those situations, then? That BB... What the heck is she planning this time...?" the Alter Ego muttered as she pushed herself back to her feet. "In any case... If you want a name to call me by that won't cause you to stumble like a child, 'Melt' shall do. I shall be gracious enough to accept your offer of guidance, but is there really a need to change clothes? Am I not fine as I am?"

With an all-knowing smirk, Meltryllis walked towards the door and quietly left the apartment, half-waiting for her Master as she took a few tentative steps around the complex's hallways. The mention of a 'technological wonderland' in this mana-infused world gave her more than enough reason to think that there was merit in attempting to connect.

In her mind, there was no way that BB wasn't in some part responsible for this whole mess.

"Do you want to take the elevator or the stairs, Master?" she called back, waiting for a response. By now, her heels were leaving considerably lighter dents in the ground, if any... Which meant that the only casualty was the floor in her Master's room.

She could deal with that one way or another.

Oda Nobunaga

@KoL@PKMNB0Y@Raineh Daze@VitaVitaAR

Walking in a casual jacket and T-shirt combination, a dark haired girl that could be your girl next door was walking down the high street, a hat that reminisced the feudal era was planted firmly on her head accompined by a pair of headphones that were playing a loop track of as much rock music as she could find.. Of course the way she was acting wasn't really telling of the warlord she actually was considering she was clutching her head after an onset of brain freeze from eating too much ice cream which she had brought from a stall set up by a master-servant pair.

Still, disregarding that. She could honestly say she was happy, There wasn't a war going on for her to have to fight in, and she was quite bemused by the presence of so many servants. Perhaps then the only downside for her currently was the lack of her family and close friends. Her brother, her niece. Okita... Well, it seemed that she couldn't have everything, but that was to be expected.

Staring at one of the TV's in a window shop her lips curled into a smile at the sight. As she saw the two servants dance back and forth. True, she admired peace time but given whom she was... A little fighting was pretty fun to enjoy too and she watched as sword met sword, NP clashed against NP. It was thrilling to see the underdog prevail and Nobunaga was pressed up against the glass watching. Seeming intent on concentrating on it regardless of the few other stragglers trying to see. "Good on you Sigurd!" She'd cry out as the Saber class servant would win in such a spectacular fashion. Such a cry would get her a few glances and a few more sighs of annoyance but a person acting eccentric in the streets was bound to be expected on an island of servants.

Happy at bearing witness to such a fight through one of the greatest inventions of the modern era. Nobunaga continued her trek onward, red-eyes fixated on her destination. The dreaded convenience store where people were forced to wait in line and she wasn't allowed to pillage, frisking her pockets for the spare change her master had given her, she'd step inside. Walk straight through the crowd of servants that were talking and head with a straight beeline towards the sweet aisle with a "Excuse me." and a "Apologies" The change gifted to her, jiggling in her pocket all the while with a soft noise. Coincidentally was quite close to the crowd, and if one would happen to look, one would see Nobu making one of the hardest choices of her life.

Kobayashi Seria

Given her Servant's nature, the rather explosive reaction made plenty of sense. It only made sense for Mordred herself to find amusement in the fact that one of the Knights of the Round Table, especially one of the notably powerful ones, had fallen on his face in battle. Still, Seria had followed the battles somewhat, and it was a surprise that Gawain had been taken out. To be honest, Mordred's laughter was almost contagious. Almost. Seria found herself smiling a little bit, at least. Taking the opportunity to think about anything but the letter from her parents, the short girl decided to pursue that line of thought.

"My guess is that Sigurd likely stalled until Numeral of the Saint couldn't function any longer, and Gawain's Master was too arrogant to think that was a possibility," she commented. Indeed, she was proud of herself, and of her Servant, but Seria most certainly wasn't an idiot who would allow something careless like that to happen. Just getting by on brute force, no matter how strong your Servant was, wasn't a possibility. When you were up against opponents out of legend, you had to keep that in mind, "Certainly, if we had been in the fight, it... would... have..."

The petite girl trailed off. For some reason the boy that had been in front of them had turned towards Mordred and herself, looking expectant. For a moment she didn't exactly understand what was going on, until she realized that Mordred's outburst had sprayed his bag and pants with soda.

Seria sighed heavily.

"Saber, it looks like he wants an apology," she said, "And I guess it's hard to deny him one, after you sprayed him with soda like a fire hose."

Mihama Nanako

BB...? Who was BB?

Nanako was barely given time to try and contemplate that name, or initials, or whatever it was, before her Servant proceeded to attempt to leave the complex as she was.

Was... was her butt even covered properly?!

Nanako followed as quickly as she could, only to realize there was another casualty of her Servant's unusual prosthetic legs. That was, the floor of her kitchen, living room, and hallway. Less so the further that Melt walked, but the fact was that she was still leaving a trail of dents as she walked. The floor of Nanako's kitchen, on the other hand, had been mutilated in a violent fashion, stabbed several times by the sharp spikes on the bottom of the Alter Ego's metal feet. Speaking of which, those legs... they seemed somehow dangerous. Nanako wasn't sure how though... but something about them...

"Melt-san!" she called to her Servant. At least the purple-haired girl wasn't completely running off without her, but at the same time it seemed as she she was only barely waiting.

"Hold on! Er..." she paused for a moment," It's not that your outfit is... er..."

She trailed off. How did describe that outfit? The jacket was actually pretty fashionable and cool, but... covering up your most private place with a metal plate...

"... Your outfit isn't bad, but... actually, do indecent exposure laws even apply to Servants?" she questioned, suddenly uncertain, "Er, it's just that I think everyone might stare..."

Aaah, she had a feeling that Melt wasn't going to agree to wearing her spare outfits, but even if the Servant didn't care about being seen like that it was possible law enforcement would. Certainly, they'd turn a blind eye to Servants in battle if something like that happened. But just walking around casually like this...

As she approached the elevator, Nanako turned towards her Servant again after calling it to their floor. Certainly, Melt seemed fine walking on her prosthetics, but potentially damaging the stairway just didn't seem like a good idea.

"If you don't want to wear my clothes, there's a shop not too far away, so maybe we could go there instead?" she offered. Certainly she wanted to start a good relationship with her Servant(even if Melt definitely had an attitude), but she also didn't want her to walk around just barely covered up. "I should be fine buying anything you want!"

Hopefully that would work. It was a pretty good offer, wasn't it?

Sir Lancelot

The Saber turned around on hearing the laughter, sure there was something familiar about it--and wanting to reprimand whoever it was that didn't even swallow their drink first. But on seeing who it was, the knight almost dropped the snacks. Almost, but not quite--because his first impression of who was there would have been quite irate about the wasted food. What he did do was drop the supernatural blandness, his features becoming more distinct and recognisable.

"Ah, your majesty, I thought we were supposed to meet later--wait..." he started, trailing off and looking confused. It was almost right; the face and eyes were the same, without the armour and heavy clothing from Camelot they were definitely female... but the air around them wasn't the same. There was no kingly attitude, the hair was too messy, and they were wearing far more red than Artoria was liable to.

Gilgamesh

Lounging on a sofa with a glass of wine, the King of Heroes radiated a feeling of idle, unearned wealth. Even summoned with nothing, it was impossible for him to remain destitute for long--in a matter of days, some fortuitous change and a lottery ticket had catapulted him to a comfortable living standard, and the stock market had done the rest. It was convenient how quickly modern humanity allowed him to acquire wealth.

Though a good part of that had simply been reacquiring all of his holdings from Fuyuki.

Normally, he would have no interest in a teacher, whether a magic user or not, but there were loose ends from his last summoning around... perhaps this was one of them. To ensure that his mercy was still deserved. "What is the name of this teacher?"

Oda Nobunaga

&

Hye Kyou

@13org@1Charak2@KoL@PKMNB0Y@Raineh Daze@VitaVitaAR

Flashback: The Summoning Ritual

"Home sweet home..." Hye thought to himself as he opened the front door, taking off his hoodie and throwing it on the couch that was in the living room.

The apartment he had bought to himself using part of the money received from betraying the Kyou family wasn't as big and luxurious as some others where important families lived in Fusang City, but it had a medium size, being undoubtedly more spacious than your 'common' apartment. It was comfortable and Hye was happy with it. Truth be told, he had bought it by impulse but it ended up not being that bad. Now, he would say that it was definitely worth the money.

After pushing the couch out of the way and opening enough space to draw the magic circle, Hye took the bottle of fresh chicken blood he got on his way back home. It was already enough that he would have to deal with cleaning all that blood when the ritual was finished, no way that he would bring an entire chicken here and have to clean it's carcass, feathers & etc. Too much work...

"Finally done. Can't say I'm looking forward to the next step though..." Hye said, with a clearly annoyed expression as he stood up in front of the circle he had just made as he got the bottle with the chicken blood.

The blood was still incredibly warm on his hands, after all... the animal had died only a few seconds ago. Even though the slaughterhouse wasn't that far from his apartment, he ran all the way back the second the chicken died as an extra precaution.

"I hope it still works..." Hye thought to himself, pouring the chicken blood inside the circle.

The magic words for the ritual came naturally to Hye's head as he started the chant, thanks to him carefully memorizing it on his way home. Due to his defective magic circuits (and partially due to his complex regarding being a 'failure' as a mage) Hye was sure to put as much prana as he could in the ritual.

Much to his own surprise, the circle started glowing, a sign that the ritual was indeed working. Despite that, Hye was careful to not interrupt the chant, afraid that any disruption, no matter how small could stop the ritual. And if it happened, who knows if he would be able to do it again.

As the circle grew brighter, Hye felt the surge of energy coming from it. Light flooded the living room, making Hye close his eyes as he eagerly awaited for the result.

Unfortunately... nothing happened. There was no one inside the circle, nothing that could be considered a 'success'.
"I honestly don't know what I was thinking..." Hye said to himself, sighing with an frustrated and annoyed expression.

"The only thing this was good for was to give me more work... I'll deal with it later. The lecture was incredibly boring and I spent a good deal of magic for nothing... I need to rest a bit." Hye mumbled, as he threw himself in the couch.

Unsurprisingly, it was only a few minutes before Hye fell asleep. What he didn't knew though was that the ritual wasn't in fact a failure...

Nobunaga whom had a prideful look on her face, a hand on her hip and a grin. “Are you my Ma-” She blinked at the empty room, having manifested in the apartment above where she was supposed to appear, it took her a minute to gather her bearings. She was certainly contracted to someone otherwise she would be losing mana by moving around. This was strange indeed. Walking over to the doorway she peeked her head out of it. Noticing herself to be in what the grail seemed to impart on her as a ‘apartment complex’ “Well that's just great.” She’d say walking over to the steps briskly and going down stairs to where she felt the tie to her master was strongest. Kicking open the door. About to make her grand entrance and show her master a thing a two!

Then she saw him asleep and threw that plan out of the window immediately. Her smile turning in a gratification seeking pout [color=red]“If your not going to stay awake to deal with me.” Nobunaga would say as her eyes spotted something in her hoody. “I might indulge myself in the modern traditions at your expense for you to apologise for me.” She’d say writing a poor written note in japanese saying she was off to see the stores taking his wallet with her. Before leaving the building.

One hour after the summoning ritual Hye thought it was an utter failure, he finally woke up from his nap. After such a frustrating and disappointing try, he was indeed feeling a little better, but his good mood immediately went sour when he realized that he still had to deal with the mess left by the ritual in the middle of his living room.

"Oh... great... I had almost forgotten about this..." Hye said to himself, sighing as he stood up from the couch. The moment he did so though, more specifically when he grabbed his hoodie, he realized that there was something wrong...

"Wait... my wallet?" Hye exclaimed, raising an eyebrow as he put his hand on the pocket where his wallet should be.

Even as he searched the couch, thinking that his wallet could possibly have fallen from his pocked when he threw his hoodie, he wasn't able to find it. Not only that, but the door which he clearly remember closing when he entered his apartment was wide open.

"What the... what just happened here?" Hye asked himself, clearly confused about what was happening. It was then that a small piece of paper on top of the table drew his attention. After further inspection, he realized it was a note left by... someone... saying that it would go to the stores and was taking his wallet with it... Whoever that 'Nobu' was.

"Nobu huh... figures... The last time I checked I lived alone..." Hye said with a sarcastic chuckle and an annoyed tone as he finished reading the note and put it inside his pocket, heading towards the door.

Truth be told, he had absolutely no idea where even start searching for that Nobu thief who had stolen his wallet. On the note it said only that it would go to the stores and nothing more...

"I guess I should start searching on the stores nearby... By the time I get back the chicken blood will already be smelling... great..." Hye said as he got of the building.

After having entered in at least 5 different stores that were relatively nearby his apartment searching for anyone acting suspiciously or anyone carrying his wallet, he finally arrived on a convenience store. His already normally intimidating stare was now particularly annoyed, making it even less likely for others to approach him. The scene he encountered when he entered the convenience store wasn't something he was expecting though... A rather loud blonde haired, punk looking girl who had just spit soda all over a male student that apparently was rather calm despite being completely soaked and a petite red haired student that was reprimanding the blonde one in a rather polite and dignified tone.

It didn't take much to know what was the cause of the commotion, as it was clear to anyone who wasn't deaf thanks to the blonde girl's loud voice and laughter as she mocked the result of the servant fight that was being transmitted through the radio. Despite not being his business, Hye couldn't help to chuckle at the extreme difference between the two girls.

Other than that strange scene, the convenience store was surprisingly crowded. Given the amount of people that were there, it would be impossible for Hye to analyze every single one of them since he had no idea about who he was searching for. Instead, he choose to go to the closest aisle to ask the cashier if he had seen someone holding a wallet similar to his pass by.

When he was about to ask the cashier, his eyes wandered to a black haired girl looking intently to the sweets in front of her, almost as if she was making an incredibly hard decision. Normally he wouldn't have paid attention, but a strange hat that was similar to those used by feudal era warlords was standing firmly on top of that girl's head. What was maybe the first drop of luck that had graced that day for him made him look a bit better at her as he approached the cashier and when he did so, much to his surprise, he saw his wallet on that girl's hands.

The distracted girl would only realize what happened when she saw Hye's wallet being grabbed by a hand coming from above in an agile and swift movement.

"And here is the one responsible for breaking in and stealing my wallet..." Hye said, looking at the girl with a penetrating stare.

"You are honestly the first thief that I've met that actually left a note... Wait... You did spend my money!" he said as he looked inside his wallet only to realize that most of the money that he kept in his wallet was gone. Thankfully she didn't know his debit card's password… Hopefully…

Blood Iron Princess

“That makes sense...yeah it does. And r-right, gotta show you my place. Just for the uh record, incase the World or whatever didn’t give you the information on manifestation, we’re not in the middle of a grail war.” Serene wasn’t too sure how the whole incarnating as a servant worked, her father had mentioned before that servants tended to be influenced by the era in some way, usually in minor, often unnoticeable ways at first. Some were more major. That said, given where they were, Da Vinci would likely enjoy the situation immensely. Serene gestured for the relatively modern, age of man Caster to follow her, as she turned around, and walked towards the doorway, leading out, internally fist pumping. Yes, it had worked. She could handle this “hurdle” of one of the greatest genius’ in human history being a woman, it made sense. She had a tool...no, not a tool, she had an ally, a comrade. With a servant at her side, they’d be able to handle nearly anything. Assuming no divine servants started tossing anti-fortress NPs around at least… “While I had my people set up a space for a workshop, if you don’t like that space, we can convert any other room, short of the security, kitchen, and communication rooms into one. Or I guess you can, given the whole Territory Creation skill that I’m assuming you have.” She grabbed the door, opening it, making it clear that Caster was welcome to go on ahead. Heading forward would, of course, reveal a collection of other humans, almost none magi, but at least in on the whole deal, watching in wide-eyed shock at who stepped out with the Blood Iron Princess. Dress to impress, people.

Alter Ego - Meltryllis

"Stare? Why should I care if people stare? Actually, let them stare, for all the good it shall do them."

The Alter Ego's reply was tinted with arrogance, almost as if she had expected something far more dire to be at the tip of her Master's tongue instead. There was no particular reason for her to change her outfit—at least, not in her eyes. Changing was far too troublesome beyond the coat she wore, oversized as it was, and her form was something that had no reason to be hidden thus.

"But you wish to take the elevator, then? I don't mind," the Servant responded, halfheartedly pressing the button in turn. "As for clothing... Is there really any need to go shopping for clothes?"

There were a scant few seconds before the elevator doors opened and Meltryllis stepped inside, not bothering to wait for her Master as the doors closed soon after. If she got in, she got in; if not, it wasn't her problem, anyhow.

At the very least, she'd follow her Master's lead while she explored the place. For all the good Independent Action was, wandering around like a lost child was far from ideal—doubly so without a minimap or something to aid in her exploration, anyhow.

Mihama Nanako

Nanako sagged. She had been worried that something like that would be the response. Meltryllis seemed very proud of herself, of her appearance, of absolutely everything about herself. That meant trying to get her to comply with indecent exposure laws was going to be difficult, to say the least. But surely there were other Servants who might have wanted to show off their form out of pride, right? How was that sort of thing handled before? There had to be some way to persuade Meltryllis to try another outfit!

"Well... there's these things called indecent exposure law-ah?!"

Melt was already going through the elevator door, and it was already shutting! Nanako quickly hurried inside, not wanting to be left behind while her Servant wandered the streets without any kind of guidance. No matter how Meltryllis seemed to simply not care about getting any sort of help at all, the brunette still didn't feel right letting her wander off on her own and try to find her way around the city.

"Aaah... Melt-san, it's a lot more important to at least try and wear something that's less... er... erotic than that... Are you sure there's absolutely nothing else you'd want to try on?"

She paused for a moment, shifting uncertainly. At the very least, Meltryllis's jacket would help keep her somewhat more covered up and less likely to violate indecent exposure laws. Hopefully. Maybe they could talk about that later.

Nanako found herself glancing at the Alter Ego's legs again. They were honestly beautiful, in a strange way. Not like how the human-like parts of Melt were beautiful, but more like some sort of abstract work of art. At the same time, she was getting that hint of danger again.

She couldn't keep quiet about it any longer.

"So... your legs, are they your weapons too?" she asked, "I guess I'm just curious..."

Da-Vinci Chan~!

Drakos Estate; Summoning Chamber

Da Vinci’s response to this being something different to a grail war was the immediate sigh of relief, mostly because she had sensed the lack of seriousness of the situation on her masters face and had come to the worst possible idea that her master might have been truly and utterly inept! Now however she came to realise her master was just socially inept. Something that was much more fun.

As they stepped out of the room, Da Vinci would be walking with a prideful deliberate stride would not even stopped to look at the others, merely letting them bask in her beauty as she stepped past. Confidence exuded in every step she made as she followed her master. She knew that people would look, in fact she liked it when people did. Admiring a work of art was only natural for the human mind.

Still the concept of a workshop? To get back to inventing such a thing was most joyous to the inventor, although of course the most pressing matter would be augmenting her gauntlet’s capacity in order to fit the terrain she was in. It would quite do if she and her master were caught without proper planning. It’d be a failure from this world-renowned genius indeed! “Might I ask Master.” Da Vinci would say with deliberation speaking, eyes of brilliant blue looking at her master once more. “What do you aspire for?” They would say simply, while they could get a good judge of her masters character from a mere glance, Da Vinci certainly couldn’t read minds even if she had an inclination to want too, and the servant certainly had a pressing interest in what drove the young pink-haired woman to act.

Nobunaga whoms eyes had only scope for the candies on display would be lost in the thought of tasting such delectable treats Would of course have the wallet taken from her loose pocket, however the detectable clinking of the few pennies left in that wallet would break her from her sweet induced deep thought.

Her wrist would shoot out clutching the arm of the thief trying to take her master’s wallet. She wasn’t going to let some charlatan take her masters things. As she raised her eyes to become level with the individual that had just picked on the wrong gi-

“Oh... ” she’d say catching herself before continuing “Hi Master…” She’d say with a half open mouth that resembled a hint of shock and at the same time a slight smile of sheepish admittance to guilt. She stood there as she closed her open mouth letting him level his complaints at her one at a time as she simple nodded her head, appearing to take it in, when really she was just waiting for him to get to the point.

It was only after she felt she had given him a sufficient enough time to get it all out, and to catch his breath (she didn’t want her master dying of a heart attack when she barely knew him at all.) that she finally opened her mouth to speak. “You were asleep almost immediately, during the day no less! You expected me to sit around and wait for you to wake up. That didn’t seem really fun at all.” She’d say because to her she was completely fair not waking up her sleeping master and disturbing his rest. The loudness of her voice would make the conversation pretty audible to the rest of the store

Mordred

“Oh heck,” Mordred said after she realized what she did by being careless about her surroundings. If this were any other circumstance, she would expect the guy she spat on to try fight back and then they could solve this issue with their fists. However, the bitter look in the guy’s eyes as he turned made Mordred recall something she didn’t want to be reminded of. This guy was just like them — the people who betrayed her father not because they wanted to change the system like Mordred, but rather because they were bitter and hateful towards the world itself.

“Sure, right,” the blonde knight replied to her Master, lightly shaking her head to dispel the frown that had found its way to her face. “It was my bad, kid. Here, take this,” she said as she reached into one of her pockets and offered him a surprisingly feminine looking handkerchief that didn’t look like it belonged to a rebel like Mordred. “If there’s anything I can do just tell me—”

Before she could finish her last sentence, a voice coming from a little behind the boy caught her attention. Who in the name of her Father would call her Majesty? Much less say that they had a meeting scheduled for later. It was only after she looked up and saw who was standing before her that Mordred connected the dots. Of course Sir Perfect would be here in this city as well, wouldn’t he?

After taking a moment to get a hold of herself and avoid another potentially damaging outburst, Mordred put on her best confident grin and said, “I’m sorry to burst your bubble, Knight of the Looks, but the King you are looking for is in another castle.” A moment later, a crackle of crimson lightning flashed inside the store as Mordred summoned Clarent, resting its still sparkling blade on her shoulder in a relaxed way. She wasn’t trying to look threatening to anyone around her but if she had to let these bunch of randoms know who she was, she might as well do it with style… right?

Hinami Asakura

Well, that was unexpected. Gilgamesh taking an interest in her actions was already rare; he doing so when it was a perfectly mundane matter was doubly so. Hinami couldn’t help but feel curious about his reasons, but questioning this man’s whims was all but pointless so she just let the question go unspoken.

“It’s Lord El-Meloi II,” she answered after a short pause. “He's a very progressive figure in the ranks of the association who rose to prominence after being the sole survivor of a previous Holy Grail War. His real name is Waver Velvet if I’m not wrong,” she concluded, adding a bit of context to go with the name.

Kishinami Hakuno

"Different fillings, huh?" Hakuno forced herself not to salivate at the thought. She never considered herself a massive fan of rice balls before, but when Saber made them, they were simply divine! Honestly, a life of just sitting around, eating Benienma's cooking was far too tempting a prospect, and Hakuno had to summon great will to dispel the fantasy.

"We could probably eat them on the go, then..." Hakuno mused, looking for a valid excuse to bite into one as soon as possible, but to her surprise, a young girl had approached them. Despite her apparent distress, the cute girl was still polite enough to curtsey. Hakuno was a little taken-aback by the urgency in her voice, but she eventually leaned down a little, offering a kind smile.

"Hello there," Hakuno greeted kindly. The way she spoke was a little unusual, but she'd already met a few Servants that spoke in third person, not to mention her appearance in general was a little out of the norm, so it was safe to assume this Alice girl was a Servant of some sort. "You've lost this Dorothy person? Your Master?"

The weak magus indicated the small Saber at her side, figuring her own Servant's appearance would at least give Alice someone more comfortable to talk to, if she needed it, "this is my partner, Saber. We'll find your Master together, okay?"

The prompt reply from both the culprit and her Master was a bit of a pleasant surprise for Jason, and with a nod he took the handkerchief and attempted to dry out his backpack. The amount of soda wasn't to the point where it would necessarily have damaged anything save possibly his notes, but even those could be salvaged... One way or another.

It was a bit unfortunate about his pants, though; that would require a bit of extra laundry once he got home. It wasn't as if he had planned to clean his clothes today, but this incident was as good an excuse as any to handle that. But for once, the young man's worries weren't wholly focused on his day-to-day life.

No, this was far more troublesome. With the summoning of the Saber's blade and her reaction towards the man behind him, the pieces of the puzzle in front of Jason rapidly fell into place, and the young man had the overwhelming urge to just back away from here.

Mordred and Lancelot. It would be an understatement to say that they likely held animosity towards one another, based on what he knew about the tales of the Round Table.

"A-ah..." he trailed off, unsure of how exactly to excuse himself from this situation. Fights weren't particularly uncommon, but at the very least most people in this district had Servants of their own to protect them to some degree when one did break out, and it was usually only a matter of time before someone arrived to put a stop to things.

Sadly, Jason didn't exactly have that buffer of safety, and so the best he could do was stand off to the side and try to not get too involved in this confrontation. The option to leave also existed, yes, but there was something about watching this unfold in the back of his mind that made him decide to not run like a coward.

Alter Ego - Meltryllis

Meltryllis frowned at the increasing desperation of her Master's attempts at getting her to change attire. What annoyed her more than the constant begging was, of course, how ungraceful it all was. To equate it to a child begging their parent for a toy in her mind wasn't far from the truth, and the Alter Ego still had no intention to cede any ground on the matter. Though she might stand out, that in and of itself might be for the better. The sooner she could figure out why she had been summoned to this odd alternate past, the better.

She had no particular reason to listen to her Master, though; given her Skills, the purple-haired Servant could just as easily walk off and leave her Master in the dust. But that ran the risk of losing a source of information, and Meltryllis couldn't accept the idea of simply leaving something so valuable behind.

That didn't mean that she wouldn't make the most of this chance, though.

"Hmmm? Less 'erotic', you say? But I don't particularly care for what you think. Or what anyone else thinks, for that matter," she remarked, raising her arm with a smug smile on her face. The jacket in question wavered ever so slightly, unclosed as it was, before the question Melt had been waiting for arrived.

"But my legs, hm...? Well, yes, they are my weapons," she began, raising one leg and pointing the spike at her Master's forehead. "Absolute, unforgiving, streamlined tools of murder that shall pierce any human that catches my ire. But... Hm... Well, since you're my Master, it wouldn't hurt to tell you. I have a special skill, an id_es, named 'Melt Virus'. Just one prick from these legs, and I can inject any fool full of it. With enough of it, they'll melt into a pile of 'resources' for me to absorb. Simple, right? For a monster like me, this is only natural."

With the spike at the tip of her knee less than half an inch away from her Master's face, Melt decided to leave the matter at that and put her foot back on the floor.

"So? This is an elevator, right? Push the button so that we may leave. You can do that much, can't you?"

Saber - Benienma

Ah, eating on the go? But wasn't it best to savor a meal properly, sitting down to appreciate it in its fullness? Certainly there were foods designed for eating while walking, but Benienma hadn't intended for that to be the case with her sampler bento. Still, she wouldn't necessarily protest, her Master would ideally be enjoying her meal anyway. But would she enjoy it as much if she wasn't sitting down to savor it?

"I-"

Before she could express this opinion, however, her attention was immediately taken by the approach of an absolutely adorable little girl. She was so fluffy! Her hat was so cute! Of course, her presence made her immediately recognizable as a Servant(meaning Dorothy was most likely her Master), but that hardly changed the fact that she was extremely cute.

Her distress, even though she had managed to curtsy, was obvious.

"Your name is Alice-chan?" Benienma asked, giving the girl a friendly smile and stepping closer to the other little girl, her ponytail swaying as the bird in her hat adjusted its position, "You don't need to worry dechi. There's no way we won't be able to find Dorothy-san dechi! Where did you last see her?"

Kobayashi Seria

Good. Mordred might have been the rough and tumble type, but she was also a knight. An unorthodox, aggressive, delinquent knight, but that sort of mindset meant that if she genuinely had to apologize, she would. Seria wasn't above berating someone for something that was clearly their fault, but in this case the boy had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. That wrong place had been in front of Mordred, and that wrong time had been when she was doing a spittake after hearing about Gawain's defeat.

Just as she was about to depart with her Servant from the situation(she really rather would have not ended up engaging the boy in any further conversation), a man with purple hair approached and began talking about... Majesty? Wait, wait... Seria was certain she remembered now. The commotion when a certain Servant had been summoned, a certain Once and Future King. It was only natural she'd be aware of such a thing given who she had summoned. On top of that, Mordred's response, the summoning of her blade as she swiftly realized who it was she was speaking with...!

It was Sir Lancelot, wasn't it?

"... Saber, we can't have a fight in the convenience store," she quickly said, urging Mordred not to do anything else. She would hope one of the Knights of the Round Table, especially one renowned for being the perfect knight such as Lancelot, wouldn't try to engage anyone in combat somewhere like this. She knew Mordred most likely wouldn't, for all she had chosen to flaunt her sword, given that the red knight also considered the safety of those around her. But it was still suddenly a somewhat tense scenario. Seria was briefly aware of an argument occurring somewhere behind them, but at the moment the potential standoff was a far more pressing matter.

Mihama Nanako

Well, the attempt at arguing for Melt to try out putting on more clothing had certainly failed. Maybe she'd try again when they got to know one another a little better.

And Nanako wasn't getting even more flustered over the way Meltryllis seemed intent on showing off her body whenever it was remotely possible. She could feel the heat creeping into her cheeks again, there was no way the jacket's swaying had been unintentional. Either the purple-haired Alter Ego was so proud of her looks(admittedly not something Nanako could honestly blame such a beautiful and cute girl for) she wanted to flaunt them at any opportunity, or she was trying to embarrass the brunette. Or both, for that matter. Both was very possible. Given how Meltryllis had been acting so far, both frankly seemed like it was the most likely possibility.

This more lighthearted train of thought dissolved when Meltryllis began her explanation of her legs, pointing the sharp spike one one of her kneecaps directly towards Nanako's forehead. Any embarrassment about Meltryllis's shameless manner of dress suddenly evaporated as Nanako went still. She didn't want to act frightened of her Servant. She truly didn't. But hearing her explain how dangerous her legs were, how close the spike was to piercing her head and ending her life... it was difficult not to simply go still, and silent.

And yet...

When her Servant put her leg back down, Nanako drew in a deep breath. She was no longer one wrong move away from dying horribly.

She hadn't expected her Servant to be so prickly. She hadn't expected anything, to be honest.

But that wouldn't make her give up. She knew Meltryllis wasn't going to be happy with what she was going to say. Being alone with her for any length of time would have made it obvious. But it was necessary. Not only for the sake of others, but for Meltryllis herself.

"... Melt-san, to begin with... I don't think you're a monster," Nanako said finally, "That power is really scary, but if you were a monster I don't think you would have bothered telling me when I asked. You would have just waited until someone got hurt, or worse. So, thank you."

She gave the other girl a smile. But now... here was the part she knew her Servant wasn't going to like.

"But now that I know just how dangerous they are, I can't take you out for a tour around Fusang like this. Someone might be killed if they touch your legs, right?" she continued, "Even if it's an accident. There's a clinic not too far from here, they have prosthetic limbs. Given how opposed you are to changing your outfit, I know there's no way you're going to want to accept this. But I'm not pressing that button unless you do."

Nanako paused for a moment. There was no way Meltryllis wasn't going to be angry about even suggesting that she change her legs. But there was no other option in the schoolgirl's mind.

"If someone were to die from touching your legs, just by bumping into you on a crowded street... it'd be horrible. No-one deserves to die from something like that," added the brunette. She paused for a moment. Would Melt's pride even let her acknowledge that possibility? Would she just blame the potential victim because she would be too proud to admit any fault of her own in such a thing? Nanako had learned plenty from trying to convince the Alter Ego to wear something less lewd.

"But that's not all. You'd become a target for the city's law enforcement. For all the Servants on Fusang, not just the ones who've volunteered," she explained, looking up towards the other girl, "You'd never learn more about what's going on, and I wouldn't be around to show you anything."

Arsene Lupin

In the patio area of a coffee shop, an elderly man in slacks, the green jacket of a tracksuit, and a New York Mets baseball cap sat sipping a cup of coffee and looking over a list. Though written in code, disguised as a shopping itinerary with a few doodles, the man was keeping track of something. As always, Arsene Lupin was plotting his next heist, and wanted a crew. After all, if he was going to be a Servant, it only made sense that his escapades would need to reach an entirely new level. He moved the unlit cigarette in his mouth to the other side, tapping the side of his head with the pencil as he went over his candidates- largely other thieves and previous teachers.

Sherlock Holmes: Notify intent, it's fun watching him sweat. Caster? Owes Watson a hat.
Ishikawa Goemon: Legendary ninja, grandson recommends. Assassin.
Giuseppe "Cagliostro" Basalmo: Absolutely down for it, will likely inquire about Jr and his daughter. Caster.
Alfred Nobel: Good man, taught chemistry, would not answer summon. Caster.
El Coyote: Mexican Bandito, gentleman thief, man of class. Maybe. Rider.
Louis Pasteur: Knowledge of microbiology extensive, not likely to help. Unknown.
Robin Hood: Absolutely down for it. Likely to showboat. Archer.
Victor Frankenstein: Classmate at University of Vienna. Not likely to help, rather broody. Caster?
Ned Kelly: Hell yes.
Lord Edward Lister: Owed over the matter in Edinburgh. Contact if possible. Lancer?
Hong Gildong: Gentleman thief, bandit king, master of korean martial arts. Possible. Saber?
Nikola Tesla: Taught me everything I know about electrical principles, not likely to help. Archer.
Zenigata Heiji: Name sounds familiar. Seems like a nice guy. Notify of crimes. Archer.
Edison: Thief, but no gentleman. Hard pass.
Billy the Kid: Good candidate, likely to shoot off early. Maybe. Archer.
Blackbeard: Weeaboo. No. Rider.
Zorro: Unknown quantity, seems a decent sort. Saber.
James Moriarty:

Lupin had to think a moment. Though he was indeed a master criminal, and one of the only other men Holmes considered a worthy opponent, he had decidedly different visions of crime than Lupin. Lupin committed crimes for amusement, to redistribute wealth and treasure. James Moriarty did so for personal gain and power. They both matched wits with Sherlock Holmes, but where Lupin and Holmes admitted begrudging respect... well, he didn't know Moriarty that well, so he couldn't weigh in there. Eventually, after heavy consideration, he was left with his answer, writ large in red ink, circled three times, and underlined six. It had been an easy choice- after all, he preferred to work with men he found likable.

James Moriarty: Asshole.

Folding the paper, he put it in the pocket of his pants before getting up with a huff and starting off. It was a nice day, and he'd made a point of showing up in this disguise to the park around this time. Today, however, it looked like there would be a brief detour- a few small girls, two of them Servants, were apparently having some issues with locating a "Dorothy." While he was a thief, he was also a gentleman, and not prone to leaving children in despair. He adjusted his hat and headed up, speaking in an impeccable Brooklyn accent as he scratched the side of his head.

"Now, my hearin' ain't what it used ta be, but I heard the little lady's lost somethin'. I ain't gotta meet my buddies til' late, you want I should give ya a hand lookin'?"

Hye Kyou

@1Charak2

No... No matter how innocent and adorable expression that Nobu girl tried to make, it wouldn't change the fact that she somehow had invaded his house and stolen his wallet. Despite that, Hye simply couldn't understand the small cat burglar's actions. Not only she left a note but she wasn't trying to run after being caught...?

Before Hye could say anything though, his thoughts were interrupted as the girl started loudly complaining about him being asleep in the middle of the day. Despite that, Hye noticed a small commotion happening a few steps away with the corner of his eyes. That punk looking blonde girl from a moment ago had just summoned a big, dazzling sword, resting on her shoulder. Hye didn't need to look again to know what it was. She was a servant. Probably had a misunderstanding or held some animosity towards another servant that was present. Judging by the small exchange of words that Hye overheard, they were likely to be knights of the round table. That sword summoned by the blonde girl... That silvery blade, the crimson glow that flooded the convenience store when she summoned it...

After thinking for a small bit, he finally remembered where he saw that blade...

"Mordred and Lancelot I suppose...?" Hye mumbled, to himself, quickly grabbing one of the chocolates Nobu was looking so intently at and handing over the money from his wallet, that was now almost empty.

He had a lot of things to ask to that girl, but that wasn't the time. He definitely didn't want to be in the middle of a fight between two servants and seeing how the moods were, things could get really dangerous, really fast...

Immediately after mentioning the two servants' names, Hye grabbed Nobu's hand gently enough not to hurt her, but at the same time, firm enough so she wouldn't be able to escape as he pulled her outside with a serious expression on his face.

After walking for a brief while, enough so they were far from the convenience store and wouldn't have to deal neither with the trouble that two servants would cause nor with the aftermath, Hye turned to the girl, whom he was still holding.

"It's defintely not my lucky day... First someone broke in my house and stole my wallet and now those two servants..." Hye said, sighing heavily as he turned towards Nobu.

"Now... With one problem already dealt with... What do we have here? What an adorable little cat burglar... Unfortunately, just being cute or making a cute expression won't work with me. So, what were you thinking..." Hye started, but interrupted himself when he realized how she had called him a while ago.

"Wait... did you just call me master back there...? Before those two servants started all that mess?" Hye asked, the confusion was clear on his expression as he put his hand on his chin, clearly struggling to understand the situation.

Could she be a Servant...? But the summoning ritual he tried ended up in a failure... didn't it? At least that what he previously thought but with her standing right in front of him and calling him master like that could mean only one thing. Somehow, the ritual he performed indeed working, albeit not as well as it should have. But who was that girl? Someone from Japan's feudal period judging by her hat... But who exactly? Nobu... No... She couldn't possibly be that person...

Alkyrieaze von Einzbern

It was a nice day, and Alkyrieaze didn't have any classes to attend. Though, she supposed, it might be more accurate to say that the child didn't have any useful classes to attend; even when it came to tertiary education, magical instruction could be extremely limited. There was no reason for her to ever attend anything related to Alchemy unless she wanted to spend a few hours criticising the teacher. Maybe if they got Paracelsus in to teach something, but then it wouldn't really be her attending in the first place...

Instead, the girl had looked through a map of city attractions, marked the more exuberant activities as for a time when she didn't feel under the weather at all, and then set off to the zoo. Because of course Fusang had something like that, and she'd even heard that people were discussing the chance of adding dinosaurs to the mixture.

The homunculus had liked the snakes she'd seen the most, though tigers had also been impressive (if alarmingly big from her perspective), and she was still putting off the petting zoo as she didn't want to seem childish, but for the moment...

It was an interesting sight: the palest figure in the zoo, dressed in cream and burgundy, staring into the exhibit. Inside the exhibit, the object of her attention stared back, but slightly off to the side. It snorted threateningly.

"Diarmuid, the piglet thinks it could beat you," Alklyrieaze surmised, continuing to look at the tiny boar.

Blood Iron Princess

“...That’s a good question.” Serene’s response was a strange one. She’d been raised to advance her family’s plans, to advance the corporation. But to be asked what she herself aspired for? That was a tough question, but after what felt like an eternity of thinking, she turned her head to look back at Caster. “Knowledge, to uncover the mysteries of the stars, to keep pushing the foundation of mankind higher and higher. I want to send us beyond the stars. We’ve sent spacecraft beyond our own solar system...why not mankind itself? I want...the future, I guess.” A strange statement, but understandable perhaps, to someone who believed in raising humanity to new heights, to birth a new era. She doubted it would be done by her in her lifetime...but she’d push onwards no matter what.

She paused for a few moments longer, then sighed softly. "If you don't want to do something immediately involving your workshop, since we're not in a rush...you wanna go into town, or something? I mean, we're in the city but...I just got here earlier." A light red dusted Serene's cheeks, a clue to her own lack of social skills, coupled with the overall...new kid deal. She'd have to report in that night to her father, so the former magus hunter turned tech mogul wouldn't get too worried. Last thing she needed was for her parents to come to town...especially her mom. The thought of her mother made Serene shudder, sure, great woman and all, but...she had her reasons for not wanting her mother to go to the trouble of coming. But enough. She turned back to Caster, looking towards Da Vinci, before then looking towards the short maze of corridors that led to the front of the estate. "If you want, we can go out via the front door, or we can exit via the kitchen...hopefully the guards won't mind. Then again, not like they can stop us from doing what we want...and hell, I wanna go find some chocolate, there's like, a convenience store not too far from here, I think? Dunno...saw it on the drive. And the arena...I wonder if we can catch a match later."

And just like that, Serene was immersed in her own thoughts, the kind that would require more than a loud voice to knock her out of it. Could one blame her? First time being able to...be herself really, and she was already, like the kid at heart, trying to come up with things to do. Perhaps...no, the odds any of the mages that taught would teach her weren't exactly good presently. Came with the whole Drakos family thing. Or perhaps she'd be lucky? One never knows. So much to do, so much to see, so much to say...

//Well that got a bit more filler than intended. Whoops.

Sir Lancelot

There was something going on in the background, but even with confusion etched onto his face, Lancelot reacted instinctively to the sword--Arondight's gleaming length materialising in his hand and shining with a faint radiance even as it did so. Or possibly it was merely reflecting the light of the shop in an unusual manner. He didn't attack though, eyes widening some more whilst looking at Clarent.

"M-Mordred!? How can..." the other Saber started, before thought took over. He knew the story as well as anybody else, how Mordred had tried to be acknowledged as the king's son but been rejected, the rebellion following on from that. Of the many knights, he was one of the few that knew the secret of Artoria's sex, and the idea that the King could have had a son was one that raised confusion. But now with Mordred before him, and knowing Morgan as a witch... "... of course. There can be no other explanation. You look exactly like her."

The sword lowered further, resting easily on the floor. "You, me, Gawain, and the king... I wonder how many more will be summoned."

Gilgamesh

His inkling had been right after all--it was that boy. A man, now, no doubt vastly more experienced than that day--or even the time of the last Grail War. Was that loyalty still left untarnished by the politics of magecraft and daily life? Was nearly three decades enough to forget the final command? Or would the magus use this chance to play the good subject and summon his king?

"Interesting..." Gilgamesh stated, rising out of the chair and placing the glass aside, "I shall be attending this meeting."

Without waiting for the reply, he walked through the door ahead of Hinami. Perhaps he knew the exact place to go, or perhaps not--his Master would know better than to dawdle, and if Gilgamesh was uncertain, discerning his Master's destination would hardly be difficult.

Alter Ego - Meltryllis

At the mere mention of not being called a monster, Meltryllis scoffed and leaned against the back wall of the elevator car. 'Not a monster' was something that she couldn't accept. She was certainly more than human, yes, but her own encounter with a certain Master on the Far Side of the Moon made her confident in how different she truly was. To treat her as anything but a monster was a fool's errand, and it just so happened that she had a fool right in front of her.

"You really don't understand, do you?" she asked, her voice a bit quieter this time around. "We Alter Egos—though I guess that only I exist at the moment—were made to deny humans. If you called me here not to seek my power as a weapon, then I can only assume this entire summoning was a fluke, an unfortunate stroke of luck."

The turn of the conversation towards getting prosthetic limbs—in other words, throwing away her very identity—caused the purple-haired Servant to immediately flare up, though. Though she hated BB as a being at her core, to simply throw away a fundamental part of herself was something that she wouldn't accept.

"Listen here, you—" she began to say, only to hear that her Master had finally found the resolve to stand up to her. Even if it was for something as simple as pressing a button on an elevator.

One from which she could not leave without either breaking through the doors (and causing another set of problems to arise) or breaking the image she had been trying to push onto her Master up until now.

She had boxed herself in, both figuratively and literally, without even realizing it.

"...Fine, do as you wish," she hissed, cross with herself more than she was with the girl in front of her. "I just want to leave this cramped space already; unless, of course, you'd like me to slice those doors open instead?"

Mihama Nanako

There was at least one thing there that Nanako could agree with. And that was that it had been a weird fluke of luck. How had she summoned someone so clearly from outside of human history? Someone who couldn't possibly have existed within the human order? There was definitely no Meltryllis lurking in the past, even without the way she had spoken about herself. She was someone who just had to be foreign to this entire timeline.

But wasn't that kind of lucky, as well?

Aside from that... Meltryllis claimed to be a monster made to oppose humanity, whose entire existence was indeed the opposition of humanity. It didn't seem like she was lying about this being the reason she came to be(and that alone was a lot to take in) but at the same time...

A Master could understand certain things about their Servant just by summoning them, and one of them was skills. One of those skills was Independent Action at A-rank. If Meltryllis was as terrible as she said, why did she even bother listening to Nanako? Wouldn't a monster just kill her and then make a new contract with someone else who was more cooperative? She was hardly the only person without a Servant in the area.

At least... that's how it felt. That's what she hoped. Nanako wanted to have a good relationship with her Servant, and no matter what Melt said that didn't include treating her as a monster in the brunette girl's mind.

Nanako pressed the button to take them to the bottom floor.

Even though this was a matter of life and death for the people who could potentially bump into Meltryllis, and certainly she didn't want anyone to get hurt or worst, Nanako could sense how upset this outcome had made her Servant. It wasn't difficult, just hearing the tone of her voice change was enough. It was clear her legs were part of the core of her identity... but they were also exceptionally dangerous. No wonder just being close to them felt kind of scary.

"I'm sorry, I can tell you're not happy," she said, finally, as they approached the bottom floor, "But it's the only way I think I'd ever be allowed to take you around the city. Even if you're careful. The clinic isn't too far away, so at least it won't be a long detour..."

A few of Nanako's neighbors were in the lobby. When they went to wave to her, they fairly quickly noticed she was being accompanied by what could only be a Servant, and a rather unusual one at that. They were mostly rendered speechless.
