And that shit with Thawne randomly killing everyone. There were many universes. Due to his height and build, Thor is a very intimidating figure. Broad chested with biceps to match, Thor's stature hides a natural gentleness that can be found in the compassion hidden behind his ice blue eyes. His face is adorned with a tidy beard that matches his fiery auburn hair. While originally Blake had kept his hair rather short and trimmed, since resuming his life as Thor, he has allowed it to grow and become slightly more untamed than previously. Thor has a very disarming smile, considered by almost all who encounter the God of Thunder to be quite charming though it is almost never as wide as when the God of Thunder is engaged in battle.

S K I L L S :
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
COMBATANT: Thor is one of the most trained and experienced warriors in all the Realms. Thor often prefers to use brawling-type techniques when fighting beings of similar levels of strength. Despite being a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, Thor's greatest feats of skill come from his weapon expertise. He is easily one of the greatest and most versatile weapon experts in all the Realms, while Thor in his past life favoured his hammer, Mjölnir, he is skilled in the use of weapons such as an axe, sword, bow and arrow, shields and clubs.

TACTICIAN: Due to the fact that Thor is a Warrior God, he has had several millennia worth of experience with devising plans of war. Thor derives his great knowledge of war from Midgard as well as the other Realms, all of which the God of Thunder has done battle in.

P A R A P H E N A L I A :
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
JÁRNBJÖRN:The first weapon Thor ever called his own, the dual-headed axe was used in numerous battles until ultimately the weapon became cursed from spilling innocent blade. Cursed with an insatiable lust for blood, the weapon was banished by Odin until it was found during the first World War. The weapon became a scientific asset for the future S.H.I.E.L.D. and eventually found a home under the Triskelion where it was returned to Thor. However as the weapon was still cursed, he ordered it destroyed. Ultimately though S.H.I.E.L.D. upper brass deemed it too valuable to simply destroy and it was returned to storage. Where it remained until it was recently stolen.

MJÖLNIR:The weapon of Thor, forged from the heart of a dying star. Mjölnir was a nigh-indestructible hammer gifted to Thor from his father, Odin. Capable of focussing and channeling Thor's already impressive array of abilities, Thor ultimately came to rely on the weapon and considered it an extension of himself. It was lost to the Universe and the Nine Realms after his death.

▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
POWERS:
ASGARDIAN PHYSIOLOGY: Thor’s unique physiology of half-Asgardian and Half Elder God grants him the typical powers of an Asgardian God but he is much stronger than the typical members of his race. Thor is currently the second most powerful Asgardian within the Nine Realms and the cosmos surpassed only by his father. As Asgard's warrior prince, Thor trained in the arts of battle, which he has practiced for thousands of years. He is recognized to rely solely on his superior fighting ability, strength, and nigh invulnerability. Odin believes that Thor will eventually become even more powerful than him.

Physically the strongest of all Asgardians, Thor is recognized as the God of Strength. His incredible superhuman strength enables him to easily overpower hoards of enemies of lesser strength. Thor has even stalemated the hero Herakles in several contests, a hero of lore whose strength accomplished nine legendary labours that no other being had ever accomplished. None of these so-called labours, however, came close to Thor's greatest feat, when he lifted the Midgard Serpent, Jörmungandr. A serpent so large, its coils had wrapped around the Earth several times. For this reason, Thor often holds back his vast strength to ensure he does not greatly harm his opponents or the area in which they are in.

Thor can move at great superhuman speeds. Capable of sprinting distances fast enough to visibly appear as nothing more than a blur. Likewise, his reflexes react on the same level, allowing Thor to dodge and respond to attacks almost instantly. Thor's agility, dexterity, balance, and bodily coordination make him a great warrior for battle. He moves with incredible grace and speed despite his considerable size and body density.

His skin, muscle, and bone tissue have many times the density of the same tissue in the body of a human being and even more so than regular Asgardians. Thor is immune to all human diseases as well as its poisons and toxins and is additionally immune to electrocution or poison from radiation. Thor's metabolism is so great that it is nearly impossible for Thor to become drunk except for when he imbibes alcoholic beverages of Asgardian or equal origin. Thor is not immune to all forms of harm, however, and can be defeated by a being whose power matches or exceeds his own, or by high order magic manipulation.

Despite his astounding resistance to injury, it is still possible to injure Thor. However, due to his Asgardian physiology, Thor is able to heal at a rate significantly faster than a normal human and even much faster than most Asgardians. Like all other Asgardians, is not truly immortal. It is possible to kill an Asgardian and other beings in the Nine Realms. More accurately, Asgardians are extremely long-lived beings. Thor ages at a pace far, far slower than a human, and this longevity if further boosted by the consumption of Idunn's Golden Apples. Even in Death, Asgardians do not truly die as many return in reincarnated forms such as both Thor and his brother Loki.

Thor's endurance is much higher than that of humans and most superhumans. Thor has the ability to perform at his physical peak without tiring for very long periods of time. Thor’s body, unlike that of humans, produces almost no fatigue toxins. However, Thor does indeed require rest to rejuvenate himself, but sleep is luxury, rather than something he requires daily.

ABILITIES:
GOD OF THUNDER: Thor is the God of thunder born with the natural ability to control weather since birth. Thor normally relies on Mjölnir to control the weather with and release blasts of lightning. Mjölnir allows him to channel his natural abilities more easily, focusing on the hammer as an output. Using his powers without Mjölnir require more effort to summon and are more raw and uncontrolled. Thor is able to summon all elements of the storm, and can even create unnatural weather. He can even discharge lightning bolts from his hands that are lethal and raw in power, able to engulf his hands in lightning to amplify his punches. It is only without Mjölnir that Thor unlocked the full potential of his electrokinetic powers. His power over lightning allow him to generate electrical energy from his own body and summon thunder and lightning from the sky, all without the aid of his former hammer.

SON OF JÖRð: As the son of Jörð, the Pre-Mordial Titan, Gaea, Thor possess an innate, but limited ability to manipulate the Earth. He can create tremors and earthquakes, sink enemies into the ground or raise the ground in his defense. Though this requires great effort on Thor's part as the gifts of his mother do not come with the ease that his other powers do. Lastly, Thor can communicate with the Earth, sensing disturbances to the world through vibrations far too insignificant for most others to experience.

O R I G I N & B A C K S T O R Y
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
Thor is the second son of Odin Borson, the King, and Allfather of the realm of Asgard. His mother, however, was a giantess called Jörð, who in actuality was a Pre-Mordial Titan known more commonly as Gaea. Through his father, Thor has two brother whom he was raised alongside, his young half-brother Baldur and his older adoptive brother Loki who due to being adopted a bitter rivalry with Thor throughout the pair's youth and into adulthood. Growing up, Thor was close friends with Heimdall who would go on to also become Thor's closest ally. His circle of friends also included the future Warriors Three; Volstagg, Hogun, and Fandral. Lastly, Thor maintained a fledgling on and off again romance with the young Sif.

Growing to be a powerful and headstrong warrior, Thor grew brash and his thirst for battle was almost unsettling to those around him. Burdened with the role of Protector of the Nine Realms, Thor would often be away from Asgard for great lengths of times, putting a severe strain on his relationship with the Lady Sif, especially since Thor made other consorts in the Realms he visited. His favourite of these was jötunn, Járnsaxa, with whom he laid and fostered a child in secret from all but Heimdall's all-seeing eyes. It was also on these many adventures that Thor first ventured to Midgard, encountering the Olympian hero, Herakles and forming their longstanding rivalry.

However, Thor had a destiny far greater than any of his allies, and would eventually go on to confront the monster known as the Midgard Serpent, Jörmungandr. In order to avert the destruction of Midgard, Thor had to defeat Jörmungandr, and the two did battle for numerous days before the serpent finally succumbed to its injuries, its body releasing Midgard and plunging far below the roots of Yggdrasil, the world's tree. However, Jörmungandr's venom eventually caught up to Thor and after taking nine paces from the battle, he dropped dead. The battle between Thor and Jörmungandr had unwittingly unleased Ragnarok upon Asgard, and with Thor's death, the realm fell apart, swallowed whole and its people were forced to flee or perish. Departing the realm, the Asgardians left the ruins of their home behind as they sought to find a new place in the universe while Thor's legendary weapon, Mjölnir was lost to the cosmos of the Nine Realms, foretold to be waiting for the return of its master or another to seek it out and prove themselves worthy of its power.

But time was not a concept that Mjölnir worried nor even considered and in the late summer of the Midgard year of 1990, Erik and Marcy Donaldson unexpectedly found an infant left on their doorstep on the night their own child had been stillborn. Growing up on a farm in the American South West, Thor, now named Blake Donaldson, lived a modest life. But on the dawn of his eighteenth birthday, Blake began to be plagued with vivid dreams of a life he had never lived, the memories of his past life as Thor. The dreams continued to plague Blake for another decade while he left his home in Marville, Oklahoma, to attend Texas State University before returning home to open his own veterinarian practice. Thor was soon awoken when a man from Blake's past by the name of Carl Creel began to make trouble in Marville. Creel had seemingly developed metahuman abilities that allowed him to stand defiantly against the local law enforcement. Blake was struck by a near-fatal blow and while laying in the street was approached by an elderly man who took a hold of Blake's hand. In that instant, Blake was reminded who he was and Thor returned for the first time in thousands of years. Now, Blake balances his life in Marville while adjusting to the responsibilities of both his worlds. Acting as a protector of Midgard, the new King of Asgard must once again restore peace to the other Realms while rebuilding Asgard to bring his people home.

STORY ARC 01: LIGHTNING STRIKES

Blake Donaldson's former highschool teammate, Carl Creel, reappears in Marville after being disgraced nearly ten years ago with a strange set of powers. Immediately using his abilities to attempt to rob the town bank, Blake finds himself caught in the crossfire between Creel and Marville's Sheriff's Department as he rushes in to try and protect the love of his life, Barbara Norris. Injuried by Creel, Blake is assisted by an old man who reveals himself to be none other than Odin, Allfather of Asgard and Blake's biological father. Remembering a past life as Thor, Blake is transformed into the God of Thunder and defeats Creel.

But that was not the end of Creel as the origins of his powers are revealed to be the work of none other than the Trickster God, Loki. Released from his holding cell with his powers renewed on the condition he kills Thor, Creel goes after Blake's parents and Barbara Norris believing them the key to drawing Thor out. Blake arrives to the rescue and delivers a beat down on Creel that leaves him S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody and at Loki's mercy.

MAIN CAST:
BARBARA NORRIS:

HEIMDALL: Thor's dearest friend and longest ally. Though fated to die during the events of Ragnarok, Loki broke the cycle thus allowing both himself and Heimdall to live. Charged by Odin with protecting the reborn Thor, Heimdall brought Thor to Midgard and watched over him from a distance while the boy grew. Now he serves alongside the new King of Asgard.

CARTER HALL: A newcomer to Marville, the older man seems to know who Blake is but neither Blake nor Thor have any recollection of the man. Only time will tell if Carter Hall is a friend of foe.

LOKI LAUFEYSON:

ÚRNDALLR THE MAUL:

RECURRING CAST:
ERIK & MARCY DONALDSON: Erik and Marcy Donaldson are the parents of Blake Donaldson, Thor's reborn self. Erik had studied to be an architect before the early death of his father resulted in him taking over the family farm in Marville Oklahoma. Marcy, on the other hand, was a pediatrician with her own private practice. The life on the farm, however, never truly suited her and had it not been for the arrival of Blake, the couple likely would have separated long ago.

SSA JULIA PERRY:

SHERIFF DAN LAMB:

MAYOR ROY THOMAS:

LADY ELAINE MARSHE-MORTON:

MICHAEL COLLINS:

GUEST CAST:
ODIN BORSON: The Allfather of Asgard, son of Bor, father to Thor, Loki, and Baldur. Odin was the ruler of Asgard until its demise during Ragnarok. Like the rest of the surviving Asgardians, he was left to wander the galaxy in search of refuge. Confident in his remaining son's ability to lead and knowing one day Thor would be reborn, Odin charged Heimdall with delivering the infant Thor to Midgard, hiding him in Marville, Oklahoma until the time was right. Ultimately Odin gave his life to save Thor's allowing him to pass into Valhalla to be with his beloved Frigga.

TYR BORSON: Odin's younger brother and Uncle to Thor, Baldur and Loki.

BALDUR ODINSON: Baldur is the youngest of Odin's children and half-brother to Thor. It was Baldur's death which set Ragnarok into motion after he died to the treachery of his eldest brother. Baldur is believed to belong to the Goddess of Death, Hela, now.

LADY SIF: The former wife of the late Thor, Lady Sif is one of Asgard's mightiest warriors and was foretold to bear the children of Thor who would go on to inherit the mighty Mjölnir. However, Sif miscarried during Ragnarok, leading to the loss of her unborn child. With Thor's death, no other heir could be produced for Mjölnir. She is presumed dead along with countless others in the aftermath of Ragnarok.

SPECIAL MENTIONS:
KEVIN DONALDSON: The biological son of Erik and Marcy Donaldson, Kevin was a stillborn child. Delivered only hours before Thor was placed on the porch of the Donaldson farmhouse, the grieving pair were immediately smitten with Thor primarily due to the loss of Kevin.

ERIC KOENIG: An Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who works at the Triskelion in Washington. Agent Koenig is the direct grandson of an SSR Agent of the same name who was part of the team that recovered Járnbjörn. Agent Koenig is also Agent Perry's direct supervisor.

THE WARRIORS THREE: Comprised of Fandral the Dashing, Hogun the Grim and Volstagg the Valiant, the Warriors Three are among Thor's closest friends and companions. If ever Thor was on a quest, there was no question that the Warriors Three were right behind him. Sadly all three perished during the events of Ragnarok.

EITRI THE DWARF: A master craftsman and creator of both Járnbjörn and Mjölnir, Eitri is a close friend of the Throne of Asgard and has created weapons for the Kings of Asgard since before the days of Bor.

LORELEI, IDUNN THE MAIDEN: Sister to Amora, Lorelei had her sister framed in order to gain a position of favour with Karnilla, Queen of the Norns. This allowed Lorelei to become the next Maiden Goddess and keeper of the Garden of Idunn.

CARL 'CRUSHER' CREEL: A childhood rival to Blake Donaldson, Creel lost his football scholarship when Blake exposed him for using steroids. Ever since, Creel has held a grudge against Blake which was exploited by the Trickster God, Loki. In exchange for Blake's death, Loki promised Creel powers beyond his wildest belief. In the end, Blake, as Thor defeated Creel and Creel was forced to pay in his own blood for Loki's gifts.

JUNE MOON: A lover of the strange and bizarre, June Moon was an aspiring artist and paranormal blogger living in a destitute Star City neighborhood until a mysterious package was delivered to her door. Inside was a necklace unlike any she had ever seen before, curiosity got the better of her though and she put the necklace on, reading a note aloud that had come with it. Possessed by the Asgardian Amora, June was used as a pawn in Amora's revenge against Odin and his kin. Though Thor prevailed and destroyed the necklace, June was still possessed by Amora and escaped.

▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
For Season Two, I am planning on structuring my story a bit differently than in Season One. During Season One, I took a very 'Freak of the Week' approach to try and learn my character and get a feel for the world and the RP as a whole. Now having a fairly firm grasp on the character I'm playing and his lore, I'm looking to cover a wider arc story.

After fighting the Surfer, Thor has been left with several major threads to explore. Due to Odin's sacrifice, he has been crowned the new King of Asgard and will have to deal with the fallout and responsibilities that come with that title. Part of Season Two will indeed be a Game of Thrones as Thor is forced to contend with those who would take the crown for themselves. This, of course, leads to the next major thread that Thor has to deal with.

Loki is alive and active. While the Surfer wasn't entirely honest about who was the cause of Thor's loved ones' suffering, he was correct in telling him that Loki is behind the majority of mischief in Thor's life. As such, Thor will need to put an end to Loki.

Next, there's the theft of Járnbjörn and who could be behind that? Thor will be forced to come face to face with a foe he has not seen in a very long time. Additionally, a new face in Marville will challenge Thor in ways that he's never been challenged before.

Lastly, there's Barbara's pending answer to Blake's proposal, will she say yes? And if so, what stress and burdens come with planning a wedding to the King of Asgard.

All of this and more, in Thor: Season Two.

C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T:

"The world needs a Batman."
A M A N D A W A L L E R
The Batman is an urban legend.

At least, this is what the majority of the world has believed since rumours of a giant bat-like creature preying on the superstitious and cowardly criminals of Gotham City began in the late sixties. Since that date, the rumours have persisted, if not grown as the entity known as the Batman began its caped crusade against the crime families of Gotham. A one-man army, the man beneath the cowl, the renowned billionaire playboy; Bruce Wayne, had spent most of his youth training his body and mind to avenge the death of his parents. Travelling the world, he accumulated the skills and talents required to wage his war before returning to Gotham to strike fear in the hearts of those who stood on the wrong side of the law. But Bruce Wayne was only a man, and men eventually become old.

A life of masquerading as a charming billionaire and a growling vigilante took a toll on the heir to the Wayne fortune and it eventually forced Bruce to retire his cape and cowl. However, fate would intervene as a young man named Terrance McGinnis was pursued by a gang onto the Wayne Estate grounds. Outnumbered, McGinnis was surprised to find himself aided by an elder man as Bruce Wayne successfully fended off the gangbangers become succumbing to the strain of the fight. Helping the older man back inside his home, Terry stumbled upon Wayne's secret.

Enraged by the young man's intrusion, Bruce banished Tery from his estate. It wasn't until Terry returned home after school to find his father murdered that he sought Bruce Wayne again. Pleading for the elder man's help, Terry appealed to Bruce not as a man but as Gotham's Dark Knight. Still, Bruce denied the young man and when Bruce had fallen asleep that night, Terry broke into the Batcave and stole a prototype Batsuit.

On that night, the Batman was reborn.

My story will pick up a few years later, revolving around Terry's career as he transitions from not only being under Bruce's wing but also from a teenager into a young man. Due to the anachronisms in place by having Terry and Barbara operating at the same time, I will be cherry-picking from both Bruce's and Terry's rogue galleries as I tell a story of legacy in Gotham City.

C H A R A C T E R M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S:

While I had a solid story to tell with Namor, I struggled to stay above water with a character I honestly did not know enough about and was trying wholly to reinvent to fit a certain ideal I had projected onto him. With Terry McGinnis and the Batfamily as a whole however, I am far more versed in their stories, personalities, rogues and just Gotham in general. By doing Terry, I felt it would feel fresher than simply trying my hand at another version of Bruce which this game has already had two attempts at and additionally I couldn't likely do anything better than Master Bruce himself had done in UOU.

Instead, I opted to focus on a legacy and make Batman a character which spans the decades. This, of course, will lead to some anachronisms because of Terry operating as Batman while Barbara is still Batgirl, however, overall I feel it's a good fit for both the game and for me. As many of you are aware, Dick Grayson is my favourite character, however, I didn't feel as though he would be the right fit for the game especially with the Batman sized hole. Using Terry, he has enough similarities with Dick Grayson that I feel it allows me to scratch that itch while still playing a Batman and even being able to borrow from some of the Spider-Man feel due to where Terry is in his life compared how Bruce Wayne is traditionally portrayed.

The obvious influence of this story is Batman Beyond, but I'll also be drawing on The Batman, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman White Knight, Batman: Hush, Batman: Year One, The Dark Knight Returns, and The Nolan films. Additionally, I'll be looking at the newer DCAU films for inspiration and direction as they have a decent model for streamlining years of canon. Expect to see villains both familiar and redefined for this new continuity as I blend Terry's Neo-Gotham with the traditional city. Gotham has always been a city that transcends a definitive time era and this iteration will be no different.

WELCOME TO THE MASQUERADE

During the course of Season One, Terry battled the disturbed individual later dubbed the MAD HATTER. The Hatter, a Dr. Jervis Tetch had created the means to control the human mind. Striking a bargain with one of Gotham's reigning crimelords, the BLACK MASK, the Hatter allowed the Black Mask to use technology in exchange for payment. This payment came in the form of a young girl, a friend of Terry McGinnis'. Working together, Bruce and Terry managed to rescue the girl but not without gaining the attention of the Black Mask who has now put a price on the Bat's pointy cowl.

SEP PRESENTS:

Iris West as
T H E F L A S H

Character You're Playing: Iris West - The Flash

Powers And Abilities:
Connection to the Speedforce - Iris West is the main conduit of the Speedforce in our world but she is not the source of it. This connection grants her many different abilities, the main one is her Superhuman Speed. So far she can break the soundbarrier though Barry Allen, her confidant, believes that she can surpass that if she tries harder. Most of her abilities relate to her being able to travel at high speeds. From her body being more durable, to increased reflexes.

Journalist - She's an investigative Journalist, and good at what she does. Sure, Superspeed helps that. Though even before she became The Flash she was the best reporter in Central City (in her opinion).

Season One Recap:

Iris started Season One with the Revelation that in some future timeline she wasn’t the Flash. Despite being haunted by the ease at which Professor Zoom dispatched her and the news that this maybe wasn’t her destiny, she continued to be the hero that Central City needed her to be. Fighting multiple metahumans the first true test of strength for her was in the Silver Surfers arrival. Claiming to be on Earth to ‘test’ the mettle of Earths Heroes Surfer almost completely destroyed Iris. It took all of her skills and survival instincts to stay alive. Supermans arrival tipped the scales, and when the Surfer teleported Iris away she dug deep, going far faster than she had ever been before she punched the Surfer and the threat ended.

While Iris underwent some other minor adventures the biggest was the revelation that the man she had fought to be released from prison, Henry Allen, was the Reverse Flash, a.k.a Professor Zoom a.k.a Eobard Thawne. He had used his speed to kill Barry Allens mother and get away with it, with sufficient evidence he had planted. Try and she might Iris could not beat the Reverse Flash, who stole the speed of Jay Garrick - A speedster from World War Two. Giving the speed to Barry, Iris saw a flash of a life that could have been. As soon as she saw it however, it vanished. Barry killed Henry to save her, before turning to dust before her very eyes. Leaving her alone, the sole heir to the mantle of The Flash.

Heatwaves return, and the subsequent fight with the Surfer took its toll on Iris. She realises the necessity of the heroes having some form of cohesion, but at the same time. With her vision of Jay in an unknown place, she has more questions than answers. As Heatwave is broken out of a prison transport. Chaos is about to reign on Central City, and there’s only one who can stop it.

THE FLASH

Where Do You Plan To Take The Character This Season?:

Season one for me was really a proving ground. I wanted to take forth the idea of Iris as the Flash and run with it. I went with a storyline (Eobard Thawne) where I could have Iris fight my own, and other people's, misgivings about her holding the mantle of Flash. With her being deemed unworthy, she wasn’t meant to be the Flash… etc. As Iris moves past this, I want to go on to building Central City into a very real place. Like everywhere else there is crime, there are criminal elements that the Flash can’t deal with. At least not while also maintaining some form of normal life.

Iris in this season, now that she accepts her responsibility of the Flash is going to be struggling with what that really means. What it entails, how she has to be one of Central Cities finest reporters, and report on her alter ego without letting anyone know about it. Not only that but how it affects her personal life. All this is going to be going on when a very real and present threat is going to be lurking around the corner. Leonard Snart, the renowned criminal mastermind is back to claim his turf. Central City is his, and he has a plan on how to deal with the Flash.

Supporting Characters:

Jay Garrick: Until recently Jay Garrick was an old Speedster also known as the Flash - at least back in his hayday. Robbed of his speed Jay has resolved himself to helping Iris as a mentor, even going as far as renting an old office space to use as their ‘HQ’.

Joan Garrick: Jays wife.

William West: Her father, and rolemodel. William is a police officer in CCPD, and was formerly in the Army until his wife passed away from a drug overdose.

Harrison Wells: Harrison Wells was the first to learn about Iris' identity as the Flash. Known as the 'smartest man in central city' Iris' father brought him in to help her when she was hit by lightning. He disappeared when Iris needed him, going to help the Fantastic Four and since returning has been strangely obsessed with her speed. With his vocal disapproval of her use of her abilities Iris has seen less and less of him over the past three months, seeking more the help of Jay Garrick.

Heatwave/Mick Rory: Mick Rory is an arsonist, criminal and a danger to society. Most recently he was imbued with the power cosmic in a way that allowed him to generate flames at will. This left him with serious burns over most of his body. This hasn’t halted his love for fire, if anything it’s renewed his desire to be brought back to the flame.

Captain Cold/Leonard Snart: As of yet Leonards true motives are unknown. His skills, unknown. All that’s known is that Mick Rory owes him, and he’s after the city.

Weather Wizard/Mark Mardon: Weather Wizard was the first foe she faced. He used a piece of technology in order to rob banks and other establishments, the device was capable of controlling the weather. Currently residing in Iron Heights penitentiary.

Trickster/Unknown: The Trickster is actually the second iteration, and despite foiling his plans at destroying much of the city in what would be a 'trick' Iris has been unable to catch the Trickster and put him away for good.

Hydro-man/Morris Bench: Hydro-Man was the first Metahuman Iris ever faced. Currently serving in a glass box in Iron Heights he awaits relocation to the newly refurbished Raft outside of New York City.

Atom Smasher/Manfred Mota: Manfred Mota is an older villain, recently released from prison for serving his prison time he has been seeking out the one who put him away. The Original Flash - Jay Garrick. Iris faced him once, however was unable to defeat him. He’s still out there, somewhere.

"... Define witty?"

Peter Benjamin Parker was born to Richard and Mary Parker, out of an unassuming home in Queens. What would be a fairly ordinary childhood was cut short when his parents were killed in a random car accident. The other driver was never caught, but such as it is with New York City. The young Peter, only six at the time, quickly found himself in the care of his aunt and uncle, May and Ben Parker.

Peter has found himself in their care for the better part of ten years, now. Though the Parker family was never wealthy, they found their happiness in other ways -- Peter was always fascinated with little tinker toys Ben brought for him, content to fidget and experiment his days away, while Ben and May would dance in the living room to old records. It was never perfect, but Peter always found it a certain kind of idyllic. His parents' deaths were long behind him, and he took comfort in his life with Ben and May. Along the way, he made a fledgling group of friends in and around Queens: Gwen Stacy, child of a cop and a personal confidant, Harry Osborn, son a veritable super genius and still the only man alive to beat Peter at Mario Kart, and Mary Jane Watson, a girl with a fire in her heart like nothing else. Even Flash Thompson palled around with them in Elementary School, but he'd grown to be something of a bully in recent years. Peter always knew that High School changed people, but he never really found out how much until the day of the Oscorp field trip.

Thanks to some wheedling from the Osborn heir apparent, a school field trip brought Peter's entire sophomore class for a day at Oscorp Industries. They were touring the genetics lab, but anyone who was anyone knew what Oscorp was really interested in; an extra-planetary substance that seemed somehow capable of enhancing whatever it was applied to. It was largely inert, but the substance did seem to move on its own troublingly often. Such behavior was chalked up to residual static discharge by Oscorp Weapons Mechanics, an error in judgment they would come to regret. On the day of the field trip, the substance gathered enough energy to breach containment and escape into the wider world, riding whatever host it deemed appropriate. As the visitors from Midtown High were being evacuated amid the breach, Peter spotted an unusually large, black arachnid, not of any species known to him. Concluding the spider must be playing host to the escaped creature, Peter attempted to capture and return it. He reached for it, and --

Peter awoke the next day in his bedroom, Aunt May and Uncle Ben at either side. He'd suddenly collapsed at Oscorp, evidently from stress, and was brought straight back home. The following weeks were full of revelations for Peter -- he found he had enhanced strength, speed, and even the ability to shoot webbing from his wrists or crawl on walls. On top of it all, he'd gained the ability to seemingly transform the clothes on his body to any shape he desired. Somehow, he'd gained the abilities of a spider and more, and he wasn't about to let them go to waste. It was about time the Parkers had another source of income. A three-match wrestling career as "The Black Spider" was cut short when Peter allowed an armed robber to flee the arena. The man had an armful of cash stolen from the Tournament Organizer who refused Peter what he was owed, suspecting he had stacked the deck by being a "metahuman". Once allowed him to get away, the man shot his Uncle Ben in a carjacking; nearly fatally, too. Ben suffered permanent spinal damage. Doctors suspected he'd never walk again, and none of them could tell Peter anything useful that he could do. So he decided to make his own way, and hunt down the man was shot his Uncle, as... THE INDOMITABLE SPIDER-MAN!

C H A R A C T E R M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S:

My Peter is very different from the vanilla version. He's got the symbiote suit to start, and his Uncle Ben isn't dead, at least not yet. This is a Peter who hasn't quite gotten "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" through his head yet, and is hell-bent on bringing the man that shot his Uncle to justice, by any means necessary. On top of it all, he's very, very green to his job and has no idea what he's doing.

To be clear, these changes aren't made to have an angstier or edgier Peter, though there will be a sprig of that as is the nature of the symbiote. I want to tell a story about a struggling Peter, his family is sinking in debt under Hospital bills, he's unraveling the case of his Uncle's shooting while contesting a Police Department that refuses to work with him, all while dealing with the trials and tribulations of High School. This will be a story about Peter being pushed to his limitations and confronting them, a story about family and expectations, and above all else, a story about what Great Responsibility really means. He's going to make a lot of bad choices, and be thoroughly punished for them, to force him to truly become The Indomitable Spider-Man.

In terms of my grander aspirations, I'm certainly starting Peter in the black suit for a reason. In time, the symbiote will come to tinge everything Peter touches. His life, his work, his villains, and especially those closest to him. This version of Spider-Man will eventually take heavy horror cues, eventually showing a Spider-Man on the run from an encroaching array of symbiote-enhanced villains coming for his head, and secretly infecting those closest to him. Peter won't know who he can trust, and he needs to stay on his toes at every moment. He's just a kid that's been thrust into this terrifying body-horror situation with an alien being that has literally fused to his body, and this run will explore the consequences of that.

Origin And Backstory:

Fang Chu was born in Gotham City to a pair of Chinese immigrants on February 16th, 1990. He lived in a rather destitute area during his childhood, where he frequently got into fights with delinquents around the neighborhood and was lucky to survive with his head still on his shoulders. He had hated the poverty and crime he was surrounded by, but nothing disgusted him moreso than his father, an abusive drunk who eventually drove Fang's mother to suicide.

When Fang became an adult, he moved to New York and joined the police force there. The first thing he did was save up enough cash to change his name to Frank Castle, in order to distance himself from his father. At the age of twenty-four he met Maria Conway, the woman who he'd eventually marry and have a pair of twins with. Up until two months ago, life was good, with Frank quickly rising through the ranks of the department and the family looking for a nice suburban home on the Jersey side of the city.

But one day, when the family had a picnic in a park, they witnessed a mob killing happening not too far away. Before Frank could react, gunfire was erupting, and his family was gunned down in front of him by the gangsters. Frank survived, and the assailants were caught not long after the shooting only to be let off due to the weight their boss held.

Frank, disgusted by the ineptitude of the judicial system, has decided to take matters into his own hands. Enlisting the help of a friend in the cyber crimes division, David Lieberman, Frank has taken it upon himself to track down the men who murdered his family and bring down their boss in addition to the two of them. Not to achieve some twisted sense of joy in taking his revenge. He was going to make sure they got punished.

Season One Recap:

Frank's path to damnation began with a shootout at a night club called the Stardust, where he eliminated one of the men who murdered his family. He followed that up with a raid on The Royal Palace hotel, owned by Silvio Manfredi, where he killed the other man responsible for his family's deaths along with dozens of mobsters who were staying and working there. This might've satisfied most, but Frank wasn't through: he was going to topple Silvio Manfredi's organization or die trying.

But things didn't go too smoothly. The police uncovered Frank's identity and raided his apartment. He managed to escape, but only after accidentally killing two cops. From there, he was attacked by Spider-Woman, and the two got into a fight that resulted in an abandoned apartment building coming down. From then on, Frank operated quietly and stealthily, taking out Manfredi members one at a time, until he finally hit Manfredi himself at his manor. There, Frank learned that his family's death wasn't an accident, but rather done in order to prevent Frank's wife from spilling secrets she had learned while working at the DA's office. Frank executed Manfredi, and decided it was time to move on with his life.

But he was in for a rude awakening a month later when he was trying to do laundry. A group of thugs began causing a ruckus outside of the laundromat he was at, and when he killed them he realized that he had the chance to do something more than just wait to die. He took on his alias of the Punisher once more, and began to travel the country, where he met the likes of Vigilante and (unknowingly) John Constantine. From there, he made his way back across the country and began to form a network of vigilantes in the cities that didn't have them, all going by his alias of the Punisher. His group began with Rachel Cole-Alves in Bludhaven, and he's returned to New York while he has Micro look over reports of similarly ruthless vigilantes in nearby cities to recruit.

Powers And Abilities:
('Powers', he says)

Living Weapon - Frank has trained himself in the use of firearms and has also developed a hand-to-hand combat style mixing elements of boxing with down and dirty street fighting. From a semi-automatic pistol to a pencil, he's able to kill with anything. Needless to say, he's a dangerous man that's fully capable of taking on most (non-powered) people who get in his way.

Unbreakable Will - He will stop at nothing (short of killing innocents) to complete his goal and punish those who make a living off of other people's pain. It doesn't matter if he's stabbed, poisoned, shot, he will keep going until he's dead as disco. Couple this with the fact that he has nothing to lose anyway and the skills he already possesses, and it just manages to multiply his potential for violence.

What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?:
Aside from the race lift and change in background from Castle being a soldier to a police officer, this version of Frank Castle will be played in a style that's heavily influenced by the works of John Woo. A Better Tomorrow and Hard Boiled are the two biggest influences. Expect lots of flashy gunplay and body counts in the hundreds by the time he punishes those responsible for his family's death.

Where Do You Plan To Take The Character This Season?:
It should be noted that I'm only planning on playing Frank for one crossover with DocTachyon. From there on, I'll retire him. However, it should also be noted that he's set up a few other Punishers in nearby cities, and plans on expanding his vigilante network. Potential storylines for people if they want them.

Ignore that, that's for shit that happened two years ago. Punisher. DocTachyon's Vigilante. Building full of demon mobsters. Let's do it.

Supporting Characters:
David Lieberman/Microchip - A friend of Frank's since his days in the academy, Lieberman is a rather portly white man a year older than Frank who was assigned to the cyber crimes division due to his proficiency in technology. He helped Frank uncover the names of the men who killed his family, as well as the man they work for. He has stuck around as Frank's source for whenever he needs information.

Rachel Cole-Alves/The Punisher - The Punisher of Bludhaven and an ally of Frank's. An ex-marine whose husband was murdered in a botched robbery, Rachel fell into depression and didn't know what to do with herself... That was when Frank came along and gave her a reason to keep on living by punishing the type of people that killed her husband.

“This isn't a game, Kate.”
“Everything is a game if you don't take it seriously.”

Character Concept

For over a decade, Clint Barton has devoted his life as an Agent of SHIELD.

As contemporary superheroes and vigilantes became popular, it was SHIELD that kept themselves in the shadows, manipulating the flow of information as they combated terrorists, megalomaniacs, and despots. In Clint’s time he worked in foreign and domestic assignments; in the last decade or so he’s worked his own personal assignments as domestic threats have become exponentially more common under the guise of “metahuman incidents” and “extranormal criminal activities”. He has fought and detained (sometimes eliminated) threats such as Abraham “Abe” Jenkins, Peter Petruski, and William Cross. Within SHIELD's ranks he has worked with Jessica Drew, Bobbi Morse, and many others. He's pretty sure he has Captain America's autograph somewhere.

However, several months ago, things changed for Clint Barton.

On a summer afternoon, a wedding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral found itself under siege by Manuel Eloganto, an international terrorist, smuggler, and weapons trafficker. His men were sent to “clean up loose ends”, a situation that led to a massacre that even Clint couldn’t stop. The sole survivor, Katherine Bishop, would bring a heavy weight upon Clint’s conscience. With her entire family dead, Clint took it upon himself to mentor and adopt the sixteen year old. Those close to Clint questioned his decision. Bobbi Morse called it “reckless and selfish”. But Clint couldn't imagine any other way he could make amends.

He took a leave of absence from SHIELD and relocated from New York to California.

That's where our story begins.

This version of Vigilante alters his traditional origins, instead placing him in Warpath from the get-go. The idea here is to blend elements from many different versions of the character; literally the Ultimate edition. The main difference from those standard runs is its heavy focus on Saunders’ time in hell, which was otherwise just a bit of narration in a Jimmy Olsen comic. This version takes major inspiration from the raw weird that was Grant Morrison’s 7 Soldiers. There’s also the introduction of the Ghost Rider elements, which I did both to strengthen the idea of the DC and Marvel connection going on in this universe, but also to boost Vigilante’s power level, so he’s no slouch around some of the heavy hitters being brought in for this(as traditional Vig is just a grease monkey who is good with guns). On top of that, it lets Vig lean into the weird/supernatural that surrounds Hell and the West more effectively.

C H A R A C T E R N O T E S:

-Unlike with Spider-Man, I won't be posting Vig's backlog here. Instead you'll find it below in the post catalog.

BATMAN

"Your day of reckoning has arrived."
C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T

Given the clean slate of Batman, I wanted to try something different compared to the other versions of the bat. It's that Gotham is more corrupt than it ever has been thanks to the wealthy families living in the Palisades. The GCPD, led by Commissioner Loeb, has become the second most corrupt police force in the nation with their record high cases of police brutality and rumored connections with the crime families. And Mayor Hill does whatever he can to make the rich richer and poor poorer. With folks, like Jim Gordon and Michael Akins, getting punished for attempting to fix the problem. It seems like the citizens have lost hope.

But, one man plans on solving Gotham's problems: Bruce Wayne.

After losing both of his parents, Bruce was placed under the care of Alfred Pennyworth and Leslie Thompkins. Both his caretakers tried to hold onto the wealth amassed by his parents before the city took it all. Wayne Manor was left abandoned while Wayne Enterprises was left in limbo until the Cobblepots entered the picture. There wasn't much Alfred could do to stop the city from stripping apart what the Waynes built. Leslie, a close friend to the Waynes, offered them a place to her home. Still mourning for his parents, Bruce made a graveside promise that he would avenge his parents' deaths.

Bruce sent his later youth and teenage years training whenever possible. He was active in several clubs at his school, helped Leslie and Alfred at the clinic, and worked as a mechanic with Earl and Marva Cooper. Once he was done with high school, Wayne gathered his savings and announced that he was leaving Gotham to travel around the world. He didn't know how long it would take, but it was something that he needed to do. With his foster parents' blessing, Wayne departed and spent six years moving around and learning so much.

During his travels, one memory reminded in his mind upon returning to Gotham. During his time in New Mexico, he learned survival skills when he got lost and suborned upon a cave. But once he entered the cave, it became clear that he was lost. It felt like he had walked for hours until he found sunlight. When he started running towards it, bats were awakened and began attacking. At first, Bruce was terrified of them and tried fighting back. It didn't work. But it wasn't until remembering the lesson about maintaining fear that he was able to escape.

Besides the numerous bite marks and the medical bill, Bruce remembered how terrifying the bats were. And he wondered if it was possible to use that terror to his advantage, especially with Gotham's current state. Police corruption is at an all-time high with stories of their brutality being heard across the nation. Bruce understood that nobody was going to do anything to stop it. So he decided to do something.

C H A R A C T E R M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S

Look, I am going to be honest. I despise rich folks, especially billionaires, for various reasons (capitalism). So, I am going to write Gotham City as its truly meant to be written: a cesspool of greedy wealthy people that brought out the city. The City Council, filled with the same folks, maintains the status quo while avoiding pleads for meaningful change. And the current commissioner makes sure the police department protects the rich while punishing the poor severely. There's no way someone could make it to the top of the social ladder without getting their hands dirty. Money absolutely corrupts.

Bruce Wayne never grew up as Gotham City's wealthiest since the city took it from him. He had to live in the shadow of Gotham's skyscrapers along with everyone else. It was filled with struggle, but his custodial parents did everything to give him a good youth. Yet, Bruce still struggles with his inner demons. He wants to uphold his promise, but at what cost? That will be the question that he has to find out.

"When other guys go on a quest to find their place in life, they get into something like meditation or yoga or designer drugs. Me? I move to a city I've never been to before and go around town kicking teeth in."

Vic Sage wasn't a nice man. Hotheaded, stubborn as hell, and with a tendency to ruffle the wrong people's feathers. His unbridled ambition managed to land him a job working at the Chicago branch of Worldwide News Network, a small news network (ironic, considering the name) that had slowly been opening new branches in major cities in the East Coast and Midwest since 1998. Over the course of a year, he managed to work his way up from penning articles for their website to achieving a position as one of their newscasters. His career as a newscaster was rather short-lived, however; on the night of his first broadcast, he went off script and began to slam various businesses that backed the network, accusing them of having ties to organized crime on live television.

His superiors had their sponsors breathing down their necks, but the general public had loved it. The video of Vic's live rant had gone semi-viral and he attained minor celebrity in his hometown. They couldn't just fire him, so the best course of action was to send him somewhere where he wouldn't be a problem. That place was Hub City, home to the oldest (and most underfunded) branch of Worldwide News Network with the lowest ratings. No one would care about his rantings and ravings because no one watched it there.

Vic, for his part, has managed to take the move in stride. Besides, Chicago had been a little too quiet for him lately. He needs a new stomping ground if he wants to get serious about this vigilante thing, and Hub City might be just the place to start. Maybe someday he can actually do something about those corrupt corporate mobsters.

I'll be picking up where I left off and hopefully, just hopefully, I won't drop it again. But I have a feeling that with this format, I won't.

However, her torture continued to haunt her, and as such, she decided to finally get revenge once and for all. To do so, she sought to form a group of fellow members of the magical community in order to assist her in her quest. In doing so, she found herself pushed to her limits, encountering a number of foes, both new and old. The news of Belasco finding himself a new "Apprentice" rocked her to her core, leading her to finally redraw her sword once more.

The coming months became tough for Illyana, who found herself clashing against her mentor more and more. Despite his good intentions, Illyana felt herself pulling away from his teachings. Then, in the dead of the night, she left, intent on finding her own way.

Vowing revenge on her former captor, Belasco, Illyana Rasputin sought out members of the magical community in an attempt at raising an armry against Limbo. Her search led her to the Ragman, and his suit of souls. After assisting the Gotham vigilante with stopping a mystical being named Master Belaric Marcosa, Ragman agreed to join her. The two met with another potential recruit; the Canterbury Cricket, however, that just led to further peril. Just as he was trying to convince Illyana that she wasn't the blame for the bad things that had happened to her, he was slain by the Demon S'ym, one of Illyana's former captors back in Limbo.

After fending off S'ym and the rest of the Demon's Three, Illyana discovered that Belasco had kidnapped another mortal, trapping them in Limbo just as she had been. Before she had the opportunity to process this news, the United States of America was rocked by a vicious terrorist act led by the Metahuman Supremacy Front. Doctor Strange sent her to look over Star City whilst he helped handle the crisis within New York, leading to Magik confront members of the M.S.F. alone. The group brought her to her breaking point once they began to kill hostages, leading to her transforming her Soul Staff back into the Sword she had wielded down in Limbo. With the assistance of the local hero Green Arrow, they took down the terrorist group's presence within the city, stopping the crisis from worsening.

The morning after the attack, Illyana confessed to Strange about her plan to kill Belasco during an emotional conversation, leading to him walking away disappointed in his ward.

Illyana found herself battling to control the anger and pain that churned inside her during the weeks that followed. Sadly she succumbed to these feelings during an adventure where she brutally killed a group of fleeing enemies. Following the event, an argument broke out between her and Strange, leading to Illyana finally deciding to go her own way...

"S'just the way of it. We all sell our souls sooner or later."

Every time I've tried playing Constantine in the past, I've started slap-bang in the middle of his career as an occultist, exorcist, detective, magician, etc etc, and often include nearly every major event of his canon in the biography. And I usually end up directionless after 2/3 posts with no real plan or solid character development to pursue. No more!

This Constantine is young. He's just been released from Ravenscar after an eighteen-month incarceration, with no home, family, friends or life to return to. His sister is still disappeared; his mother is still dead; his father still may as well be. He's a blank slate to carve scars and stories into, and there's a clear vision to begin setting him up as the equally legendary and infamous mage we know from DC today.

I've had a lot of ideas for John over the years, varying from continuing the canon to retelling an old story to redirecting existing character goals. This is none of them; this is a new origin story, this is taking the themes and story notes of the character that I love and running them through my personal lens, and developing a brand new Constantine that can be definitively mine while avoiding a complete departure from the source material.

John is young; 20-something, still several years before 30. His sister disappeared over a year ago, and he suffered a nervous breakdown that got him sectioned; he has only just been released from mental care at Ravenscar. He's done a lot of introspection and reflection during his incarceration and has come out of it seeking to repair the damage he's done to his minimal existing relationships and at least come to terms with, if not solve, his sister's disappearance. Unfortunately, he is yet unaware of the supernatural brush his life is about to be stained by, and the events shortly about to unfold that will change John’s life forever, and force him down terrible, grievous paths for a greater good he will never live to see.
