Description: The leader of the Ghost Corp, who gives most commands and enacts the will of the Gilded Circle. Every strategic attack on Umbra Corp's supply chains and military bases within Dust was called by General Solen.

The general has a slight obsession with the Wilds, and tries to reduce the number of Ghost Corp attacks on the Wilds. Instead, he has asked their supplier to restock their raw material of Wild hearts through the Lawless. The general has even gone as far as to include some friendlier Wilds into their ranks.

Some Lawless have tried stealing from and harassing the Ghost Corp units, but General Solen is quick to extinguish these outbursts, often using lethal measures to drive the message home that Ghost Corp is not to be messed with.

He's a no-nonsense general, with a laser-like focus and hunger for victory. He is cold to mostly everyone except the few within his ranks that have earned his favour.

Absolutely! Mimi isn't properly part of Ghost Corp yet, they just sort of hang around them to keep them safe, but you're more than free to put her in there for her starting to work with them properly! She possibly could be following them while their on a mission from the shadows?

Abyssal Connection: Possessive Subjugation - Corvid Spirit

Arcana Abyss

A pack of 78 divination cards that can be used to read an individual's energy or attack them. The deck has two parts. The 22 cards of the Major Arcana can be used like Abysmal Energy bombs. While the 56 Minor Arcana can read surrounding energies.

It's imperative that Bastian figures out if he's up against a friend or foe before use. Once a card is used, that's it, it's gone. A new deck of cards will need to be acquired for further use. Simply recharging the deck with Abysmal Energy, will not work.

Holy Water

Water can be life granting! But it can also grant the ability for Bastian to become invisible to nearby enemies, if the water was filtered through Abysmal Energy. But as pure drinking water is scarce, it becomes a bit of a guessing game if the liquid concoction is going to kill him or not.

To use it, he can't simply drink it and viola- invisible man. No, he must take a sip and then hold it in his mouth. Things like running away from an enemy, become difficult, if you can't catch your breath with a big gasp of air. And while it might make him physically invisible, the sounds he makes can still be heard.

(Locked) Corvid Eye

Flight, albeit briefly. It's more like hovering mixed with gliding. Long distances are not possible, nor is achieving higher altitudes from a single low starting point.

Goal: The current goal is to continue his life with indifference. Bastian is done caring, but he's also done fighting- For any side. He just wants to live and let live in whatever shattered reality has been left behind.

Personality: He's quiet, but that's mostly out of not wanting the frustration of dealing with others. But he can be rather bubbly, under certain happier circumstances.

History: It's been a little over two decades since Bastian lost his little brother, Maddox, to an Umbra attack in his neighborhood. At first he was considerably angry and decided to fight Umbra by joining up with Ghost Corp forces. But over the years, he's grown weary of Ghost's bullshit too.

So, figuring he'd had just about enough, Bastian turned to religion one night after slipping away from a Ghost base he'd been stationed at. He'd heard the stories and desperately wanted to believe them. But the stories about the Benefactor turned out to be just a thing priests used as a tool to control the population... or at least, that's what he believes now.

So now, Bastian feels he's seen and been through enough. He just wants a break from it all. Now considers himself a truly Lawless individual, even among the Lawless.

Shapechange

Ability Description - Changer of Forms can alter her appearance, assuming the form of a person, the shape of an animal, or the semblance of strange, ethereal creatures that seem misplaced even in the dust-covered lands of the now. Minor alterations to her form, such as changing her hair length, eye color, or other simple features requires far less effort from the Wild.

Flaws - For all her talent, for all her mastery of changing shapes, Changer of Forms cannot change forms endlessly and without pause. She requires some time between each major change of her form. Fatigue mounts as she bounds between shapes and the mental challenge of embracing a new body will eventually begin to burden her.

Ghost Form

Ability Description - A being formed from immeasurable change, Changer of Forms is not constrained merely to shifting between physical forms. Instead, she is able to alter her body to like those of her ghostly kin. Becoming insubstantial, only her heart or chosen parts of her body remain corporeal. Those parts of her form that are incorporeal are rendered impervious to harm and can phase pass easily through physical objects. Appearing translucent and ghostly in appearance, when existing between the material and immaterial, Changer possesses an innate sense of direction and is capable of moving or rather floating in any direction, alarmingly to some, even up and down. In this state, Changer of Forms possess no weight and unless she chooses makes no sound with her movements.

Flaw - Even for a Wild, there are limits to what can be achieved, and Changer of Form’s heart remains decidedly corporeal in nature, regardless of the state of her greater body. Furthermore, it is no easy thing to flicker between the tangible and intangible, leaving Changer with limitations regarding the pacing of the incorporeality she weaves into her many manifestations.

These are words that Changer of Forms has carried proudly. She is a shark in the sea of sand, the sublime desert of the real. She is a predator, yes, but a creature who believes herself to be fated to help the weak humans. To guide them towards strength. To awaken the dreamers from their endless slumber.

Or so this current iteration of Changer holds.

Changer of Forms seeks pain. Changer of Forms seeks suffering. Not out of cruelty. Certainly not out of malice. She seeks to subtly push those around her. She aims to nudge them onwards. And she aspire to push them forwards into danger. All for change. All to help others change. For in changing them she changes herself...and the cycle continues.

Personality:

Changer of Forms...is a thousand forms, a thousand faces, and a thousand personalities. She is whoever she wants to be. She is whoever other people want her to be. She is whoever...whatever she needs to be

When madness beckons. When the heavy crown of ascendancy threatens, Changer simply discards her skin, reforms her soul, and becomes someone new. A new self, a different self, less burdened by corruption, not yet drunk on blood.

She hates no one. Least of all the humans. She views the poor wretched humans with a fondness unexpected of a Wild. She shines in their company. She relishes in the entertainment they provide her. She marvels at their stubbornness, their unwillingness to die. She studies them. She teaches them. She learns from them. Becoming one of them, she tastes the countless flavors of reality.

Changer feeds. Like all Wilds she feeds off of the emotions of the humans. Pain is delicious. Suffering divine. But it is change, change that Changer worships. And change that she believes in.

Changer of Forms wears many masks. She takes many shapes. She adopts many names. She creates many memories. She creates many histories. And she creates many lives. These simulacra never conceal the truth. They are the truth. The truth that there is none.

Changer of Forms is certain of this. She believes it even as she destroys that which she creates. She does not weep for her lost selves. They are the price she gladly pays. Her lives are to be spent, but spent wisely and well. Guided by signs and symbols, she seeks new stories, to memorize, to experience, and to show her the threads of reality.

History:

Changer of Forms recalls years upon years. Long decades and time beyond that of the short-lived humans. At least she did. However, change demanded otherwise. The needs of the many outweighed any of her own reluctance. Her self had to be shattered. Her soul had to be changed. Old memories would not do. The past had to be abandoned.

All that she was, all that she had been, was a relic. A mere vessel. She had only to let go. A new world awaited. A world teaming with new life. Creatures that needed her. Enlightenment beckoned.

The East whispered of mystery to her, so she set her feet to the road of the new. That night, bathing in the moonlight of new existence, she saw smoke in the West. She dreamed of burning temples and a gallows song on the wind.

Somewhere, sometime, she left herself clues to follow. She fuzzily remembers, uncertain whether such thoughts were once her own or simply remembrances, stories, she created for her current persona.

She is Changer. She has been Changer for some time. Changer is the kind traveler, Teresa, an unaligned idealist. A mousey young woman, a doctor with dreams of good, hiding beneath layers of azure fabric and a mask of gold.

Inventory:
Mask - The work of some long dead craftsman, Changer wears an Abyssal Energy powered mask that filters the air she breathers in. Although in truth, as a Wild, Changer has no need for any such protections.

Wasteland Traveler's Clothes - Changer wears a set of traveling clothes well-suited for traveling the inhospitable Dust. Dyed a bright blue, her clothes are lined with a golden trim and symbols, that mark Changer as a doctor of sorts or what remains of the once proud field of medicine. Her set of clothes, consists of boots, wool breeches, a sturdy belt, a shirt with a matching vest, and a strong jacket with a hood that covers her head, obscuring most of her features.

Revolver - Keen to avoid violence in her current role and wishing to appear discerning in her tastes, Changer carries an antique firearm with an esoteric design, a pleasant number chambered in .454 Casull that Teresa seems to easily wield despite her modest size.

Backpack - Changer keeps a backpack stocked with a bedroll, mess kit, tinder box, small miscellaneous items needed for the aspiring traveler.

Medical Kit - Within a waterproof plastic case, Teresa carries the medical tools and equipment necessary to provide immediate medical treatment.
