Martin halted, dodging the silver gun wouldn't be too difficult, outrunning an explosion this size however, not that easy.
The digital mind stated it's facts with.. pride? Strange, what could be the upside of artificial intelligence with vices? Maybe he could use it against them.
His adversary was confident because it thought it had all the variables. Let's remedy that.
"Your math is more or less correct, there's a few things that might make you reconsider detonation.
First of all, we are currently in the largest storage room of SOLDIER Kilo Point headquarters. While this means that the place is packed with enough explosives to blast me, you and maybe even part of the titan up there into the void. You will also take... I'm counting 312 human souls within blast area? Give or take a few. You'd be responsible for their sudden demise as well." Martin grinned widely at the thought, he casually flipped the switch on the vapor machine on his back. It came alive with a soft hum and started to spread red puffs of thick smoke.
"Second of all, with me and many, many poor innocent souls you'll take out most if not all of SOLDIERs equipment. When the 2nd wave of night-walkers comes, and the tsunami of relentless death will come trust me, SOLDIER will be hopelessly outgunned, even if you and your friends on the floating beast pull out all the stops.
Last of all.." Martin pointed at himself as he started to be enveloped by the blood cloud more and more. "I'm just going to turn into mist and be off."

Terebithia and its drones did seem to have a very low regard for human life. Mithias narrowed his eyes in hatred as he watched building after building get demolished, casualties be damned. Instead of finding Magnus, Who had yet to reveal himself, Mithias changed course and went after his brother. Finally, he caught up with him.

Without warning or announcement, and before Martin could change form, Mithias suddenly appeared behind the drone that had Martin cornered. Both Martin and Terebithia's BIOnet had been too preoccupied in their chase to notice him. With a stern look in his eyes, and paying the drone no mind, he walked straight past the drone at a clip toward Martin. Moving into the building, swords already drawn, and with no introduction or hesitation, Mithias simply impaled his brother.

Not through the heart, of course. He wanted him alive. Impaling a fledgling, even one of Gabriel's creation, would surely cause it to lose consciousness. Mithias couldn't afford to apologize or reveal any emotion as Martin bled. The drone was watching. He just stared into his eyes until he was adequately incapacitated.

Picking Martin up in his arms, Mithias turned to face the drone. "I'll spare you the expense of ammo... and lives." Mith narrowed his eyes again. "Take him. He was made by Gabriel, and Jack will have use for him."

Rhyss heard the explosions, lots and lots of explosions, the first being two rockets fired at Terebitha. He didn't know who fired them, but soon after Terebitha began firing at the town and at Kilo Point's HQ area. Rhyss grabbed his radio "Jack, Stop those damned machines they are going to blow up the entire fucking town as well as our equipment and medical supplies. Stand the fuck down and don't fire those rockets anywhere near our equipment stores." It would help Rhyss's plans partially if Jack did blow up Kilo Point, but then again he DID need the equipment as well as many people to survive as possible. His target was SOLDIER and any that refused to join him, not hundreds of innocent people. Rhyss got in his Jeep and began surveying the area for SOLDIER and any stray vampires, he had to keep up appearances ya know? Steering wheel clutched with his left hand, and Grim in his right he went along at a steady pace keenly surveying the area. In due time he would eliminate the entirety of SOLDIER at this base that refused to join him, so long as his plans went off without a hitch. He spotted a vampire, probably Mithias, get into a chopper with Miller. So..Magnus had released him? Or perhaps Mithias subdued him? More than likely the former rather than the latter, but why?

Magnus covered his ears as one of the rockets landed a few hundred feet from him and exploded, he was a vampire but vampires like to hear too ya know? He peered out from the rather large boulder he was looking at, something was tracking Martin, or someone else. Camera's, equipment, something. He looked and saw a faint movement, the moonlight bouncing off. A surveliance camera? Was this how he was tracking Martin? He grinned, he loaded his rocket launcher and took aim at he bit of machinery, he fired and watched the rocket soar making a rather small explosion from the distance the ship had moved too. He watched as rockets hailed down seconds before he fired, rather persistent.. No matter. He would take the ship down, regardless.

Cold steel slithered into Martin and took his breath away. Suddenly all was pain, then that pain made place for something less pleasant. What insult what this?
Martin felt the red mist cling to the wound, cover everything around him like a delicious blanket. But mostly, and more and more he felt a growing hatred. Slowly and strenuously he raised his arms high. "I called out into the void." A deep breath took in a big gulp of blood. His hand went into the bag behind him to quickly fish out a syringe. The vampire that assaulted Martin naturally dodged the swing with the needle, but he wasn't the target. Martin was. His mind soared as his heart rate went up dramatically. The adrenaline rushed trough his systems and replaced the left over pain for wrath. "I called out for help." Martin leaned forward to prevent the sword from being removed to block, he took the crimson blade from his back with a single hateful swing at Mithias. A swing he couldn't block with one sword. A swing meant to take both arms. The swing followed by a swift kick with spiked boots to the solar plexus. Taking out the sword and shoving Mithias away from him and at the drone. "You aren't helping!" Martin charged Mithias, Aiming to take his head off but planning to run out, the swing was to force Mithias and the drone to take a defensive stance so he could pass. And they'd better defend themselves or be cleaved mercilessly.
"So I'll let the Valkyries take you instead!"

"Estimated human casualties are no higher than 300. An acceptable price." BioHIVE is confused as it's prey is attacked by another Oldblood, registered as Mithias. However, it seemed BioHIVE would need to interject anyway. Firing a short burst, the entire complex explodes, a ball of fire moving rapidly outwards from the center of the store-room area. Rockets and grenades create brief explosions within this wall of fire, which grows with every barrel of gunpoweder it hits, with every store of bullets consumed by the heat. The two drones in the building are instantly wiped out. Terebithia, still at 30 meters high, however, is unharmed, as a large part of Kilo Point is wiped out. BioHIVE watches with the detachment of a machine, as the humans are destroyed. Humans are insectlike, odd beings. While he himself had been created by Jack, Jack was above human, his intellect his greatest weapon. Human and vampire alike, however, remained both intellectually and physically inferior to robots.
Jack leans back as he recieves the message from Rhyss. What a joke. The fool ate people for a living, and yet had the gal to lecture him on human casualties? However, Jack knew he had a much more fitting argument for the situation. "Rhyss, did you know I can detect an oldblood for over thirty kilometers? I can calculate their movements, and how wounded they are." Jack smiles, behind the communicator, as he taps his fingers on his desk. "I don't care if you work with Magnus, for my part you can bring all of SOLDIER crashing down. They're a means to an end, nothing more. However, SOLDIER isn't the one you should be afraid of. Speak to me with such a tone again, and not only will I blow your cover, but I will blow you into a million pieces." Displayed in high quality on a large screen, Jack can see the explosion. "Ah, look. It seems a [i[vampire[/i] has sabotaged the weaponry. How horrible, isn't it?" Not waiting for a reply, Jack hangs up.

Mithias stood on an open field of long white grass. The skies where filled with turmoils black clouds with crimson lightning bolts running among them slowly like veins.
A warm breeze ran trough his hair and he could taste blood on the air. There was a valley in front of him, beyond that valley was a series of hills with burning crucifixes on them, an unsettlingly familiar sight. To his left was a gargantuan cathedral, one that looked like it had been constructed with no regards to dimensions, religion or common sense. On his right he saw in the distance a city in flames, over it hovered a black whale with a thousand red eyes. It was bleeding from the side, the blood dropping on the city melted the buildings and boiled the citizens.
In the sloping valley in front of him stood two rows of bare trees, chalk white, reminding of a rib-cage cracked open. In the middle, slightly to the left was a large boulder sized ruby, uncut and flawed. On it sat Martin, he had both his eyes and was drenched in blood. As was Mithias himself. Scattered on the ground around him lay thousands of small chips from the gem.

Mithias realized he was staring at the gem shards up close, he looked up and noticed he stood in front of Martin. Did he walk closer? Martin sat on the ruby with a calm smile.
"Are you dead? No. Although.. Yes, we both are. But not anymore than you were just moments ago. Undead." Martin said before Mithias could open his mouth.
"But... I guess we are a lot closer to the edge than we've both ever been." Martin made some physically impossible gestures.
"But the point is, we are!We exist, in some way. Our bodies are almost gone, but we still exist, so there's not enough of us for us to have a conscious us... So for now we are just minds. Welcome to mine." Martin spread his arms as a child presenting a class project.

Just as Mithias was certain Martin was weakening, the young vamp pulled out a syringe. Mithias recognized what it was, but couldn't stop Martin before he plunged it into himself. He tried to grapple him, to hold him, but in a surge of power that surprised Mithias, Martin was able to throw him off. Mithias knew immediately that things were going very, very far south. The fool child should have given up, but how he could he blame him for not trusting him? The drone spoke its confirmation: causalities below 300. Using both swords to barely parry Martin's crimson blade, Mithias bolted for the exit where he had come in. Martin was right behind him, probably still oblivious to their imminent death.

Mithias' mind raced desperately. Mere seconds to live. Mid-stride he grabbed Martin again and jumped into a mostly-empty, giant, steel dumpster, pulling Martin in as the explosions began to go off. The whole place was a bright inferno. In an instant, the dumpster was thrown sky high. That was the last thing Mithias remembered as he found himself in a field of white grass.

Mithias stood in the grass, staring at Martin atop the unhewn ruby. The appearance of caked-blood dissipated off him, and he stood in shining half-plate armor, adorned with a leather cloak and hat, long black gloves, and riding boots. His black hair hung unevenly about his waist in back, and his eyes were a very human dark-brown. As he walked toward Martin, the grass beneath his feet began to turn green. It appeared his mind was also present. He stopped just in front of him.

"Problem is I have no idea in what form we exist right now. My guess is that there's currently two motes of life floating trough desolate Kilo Point, looking for drops of energy to reform ourselves and return to a physical form." Martin ranted on as he stared at the grass turning color, clearly amused.
"But we can take this opportunity to come to a better understanding of ourselves, maybe learn my name, do you know your name?"

A simple grid pattern scane, thought BioPILOT, as it located the remains of the vampires. BioHIVE's methods had been destructive, even more so than the missile bombardment that BioSOLDIER 1 and 3 had attempted, but it could not be argued that they were ineffective, if a little wasteful. Hopefully, some tissue had remained for basic sampling, that could be detected through Radiation Scan. However, to it's significant surprise, it found that not only one, but both vampires had in fact survived. Two active large blocks of organic compound, producing large amounts of radiation. Jake would be pleased to discover that he not only got one, but two Oldbloods for his testing facilities. BioPILOT informed BioHIVE that he should retrieve the remains.

Jack smiled, as he learned of his specimens. Beautiful. He'd later tell SOLDIER that Mithias and the other Oldblood had died in the accident. He always had an excuse. To prove the Mithias had been present, Jake had made BioHIVE leave some cells, and the remnants of one of Mithias's swords. Luckily enough, a quite magnificently engineered sword, presumably wielded by the new Oldblood, had also survived the explosion. He would have to keep it, and perhaps give it to one of his special operatives. They did need the best equipment available, after all.
The two would-be-corpses are laid in special containers, fresh blood injected into them in order to hasten the regeneration process and ensure a full recuperation. Each lay in his own special tube, made of bulletproof glass. It was connected to several tubes, which could serve to perform several experiments. Currently, a large scanner was hovering over each tube, monitoring brainwave activity. It would be quite interesting, being able to monitor two Oldblood brains, esspecially sons of Gabriel. No doubt each would have powerful psychic abilities.

Miller was inside the HQ during the explosion, which was quite close to it causing it to collapse. After a while Miller was able to get him out of all the rubble, he sighted as he saw the armory and the new equipement in ruins, before he grabbed his radio to call Jack. "Jack, I know you have your own business and stuff, but could you please do your thing without wrecking my whole equipement over and over again? Last time I worked with you on a mission you did the same. I mean you are not the one who gets charged with the costs and stuff, I can't afford ordering Tanks, weapons and equipement just for you to turn it into scrap metal as soon as they arrive, you know? So pleeeease hold back a little next time, mkay?" Miller said a little bit annoyed but still with a calm voice.

The human version of Mithias drew his longsword and held it in front of him, pointed upward as in salute. He looked at Martin across his blade. "I am Sir Mithias Aldaric Varomere, of the Order of the Holy Cross in Zeigsturhl. Defender of humanity. Vampire hunter."

Perhaps, the dear boy had taken a hard hit to the head.

He blinked for a moment. "You... I do not know your name, but... I believe we have met before." Seemingly making up his fragmented mind, he slashed the air downwards, ending the salute. "I will not allow you to take anymore innocent lives, I...Wait." He looked around as if waking up from a delusion. "No. I remember now. No!!" He clutched his head as he remembered the explosion. "Do we live?"

Martin stood up upon the ruby and bowed deeply. "An honor to meet a real knight. My mortal name would be Martin Saltz. And I think in the way you mean it yes, yes we live,"
Martin got off the rock with a small hop. The bell on his hat jingled for the first time. "I figure some sliver of our corpses must have survived the blast. Then we must be regenerating. We are stuck in our own mind until we have enough body to be conscious... And we are able to cross over because.. I don't know, there must be some link between us."
Martin seemed troubled, he'd lost track of time so he had no idea how long he'd been here before the knight showed up but it had felt like years. He wondered how long it had been in the corporal world.

Mithias didn't know what to say. This was a first for him as well. He looked at the surrounding elements in Martin's mind. Crosses burned surreal on the horizon.

"We're brothers, Martin." Mithias returned the bow. "Please forgive me, and call me, Mithias. 'Sir Varomere' has been dead a long time. Currently, I am an agent of SOLDIER, and like them, I work to maintain balance between the species." Mithias took a few steps and returned his weapon. "The balance has been terribly thrown off as of late, and it must be restored."

Martin looked at the crosses for a second. "That. That makes sense. But what needs to be done? I've come to understand this place and it's secrets. But at the cost of my humanity. It seems you've managed to hold on to it all these years though." Martin shook his head. "When I turned, all of my plans came to completion. All my goals were met. Suddenly I had anything I've ever wanted. Then I realized I had nothing else to want. So I asked our father what came next." Martin pointed at the ruins of Kilo Point. "That."
"You seem like the noble sort, so while I have lost the ability to tell, I'm sure you'll know. Was that good for the balance?"

Mithias glanced back at the representation of Kilo Point. "Father ordered you to kill humans at Kilo Point?" Mithias scoffed at the irony. "It seems SOLDIER is happy to do all the killing itself. Just trying to bring you down, they wasted scores of their own, hundreds, and even their supplies and buildings. I don't know why he put you in harm's way, but the truth is, we can't afford to lose him. I've learned that SOLDIER's true purpose isn't peace and order between the two species. The Blood Pact is a lie, a facade for the annihilation of all vampires from the world. And yes, I served them." He added with regret. "In clinging to my humanity, I have been blind, used like a fool." He turned away. "Killing the helpless and innocent is still wrong, Martin, but we must fight for our survival. We specifically cannot allow all of our wise and powerful elders to be vanquished, or our race will fall. I am not so human anymore that I don't believe vampires have a reason for being." Mithias nodded over to the nightmare-fuel whale. "SOLDIER doesn't know I am onto them, and with my status as an agent, I believe I can get myself in position to take down that thing from within. I need to live, and I need you to lay low. I may yet have a shot at redemption."

"The helpless and innocent had to be sacrificed to the dark being above. Now time has come for that being itself to be sacrificed for even greater purposes."
Martin stretched out his arm in the direction of Kilo Point and the grass bent to the sides to make room for a stone path to appear from the ground.
"Let us make a trip down memory lane, we will find what we need to know down there no doubt."
The path crawled erratically trough the hills. The wind had picked up and the scent of blood on the air had gotten stronger.
On the hills before Kilo Point was a forest of white chalky trees, at the end of that forest, on the last hill. Slumbered an armored monster, next to it's master's grave. The grave's tombstone was the crimson blade, there as if it never left.

A clouded morning sun weakly shines over the blighted remains of what was once a prosperous town.
The entire city is in ruins, a diseased ghost town burned to ashes.
With the smell of smoldering earth and flesh cutting sharply trough the mist.

Orange sunlight is met with the pale blue glow of cinders that float trough on a soft breeze
Bits of bleak flame dance on small torches besides a slender path that leads into the streets.
A road of footprints follows a long route, along every house.
Accompanied by grim lighting we wander along the skeletons of houses.
Scattered around town lie the charred remains of its denizens.
Hundreds of bodies laying on the ground, feel as a million pair of eyes watching.

Above the city floats the Terebithia. Her skin like the void so black it pulls in the sight around her. She reveals herself to us as the leviathan.
A thousand eyes glow deep in the darkness of her skin with a blood red shine. These eyes stare deep into your soul and see all your petty mortal secrets.
From these eyes comes the hive. From the world she holds within. The endless souls she holds crawl and soar trough and around her. Each mind part of the greater, all part of her.

Over every deceased floats a sapphire flame, slowly dying out.
Martin stops near one of the bodies and plucks the flame from the air. As he holds it in his hand he stares at her as he remembers what she looked like. A light frame, dressed in a hospital gown, short blond hair with a hint of pink, green eyes.
Martin bit his lip.
"I saved this girl's life last night. I didn't know why at the time, I had faith that there was a good reason. But now I see that I was wrong. I saved her so I could kill her without a thought later..."
He held the flame up, it didn't seem to burn. Was this her spirit? Or was this just another trick of his mind? Martin opened his mouth and swallowed the flame.
He felt stronger, more confident.
Maybe he found a way for their lives to not have gone to waste? Or he was wasting his time...

Jack smiles, monitoring the brainwaves of the two vampires. His tests had already confirmed a theory he had had for a long time. Oldbloods had always been a seperate cast of vampires, a leading group capable of killing hundreds. :Lords of the night, to be feared by the common rabble. However, the common idea had been that any vampire, were he of sufficient age, might become an Oldblood. The silly delusion that somehow, one's powers became greater with time. In reality, of course, it works quite differently. Only the vampires that are Oldbloods survive to become so old. It takes a while, of course, for a vampire to reach it's full strength, flexing it's muscles to full potential. However, Martin's genetic makeup made him an oldblood, far more powerful than other vampires.
The main target of his research was, however, the most mysterious elements about vampires. An element that no science had been able to grasp and understand. Vampires seemingly possessed psychic abilities, which had long been the source of mysticism and superstition. It was one of the greatest mysteries of the modern world, something that some believed to be proof of the existance of magic, and through it, whatever foolish and superstition beliefs they might hold. As such, would it not be the greatest achievement of science if he were able to unveil that mystery? And would it not be the greatest achievement in military history if he were able to apply it? A force said to be supernatural, capable of influencing the very thoughts of others. He would unveil it's secrets.

Matt was outside the HQ making preparations for tracking down Magnus when the drone detonated, the blast forced him forward a few yards into a tree knocking him unconcious. He woke up about a hour later unsure of what just happened and stared at what was once the HQ filled with their equipment and important documents, as well as quite a few of their personell. He would find out who did this..and kill them himself. He struggled to his feet and leaned against the tree "Any and all surviving SOLDIER in the area bring what equipment you can and come back to what's left of HQ ASAP." He said into his radio. It's possible judging by Jack's past that he had did this for some odd reason..but he wasn't certain. All he knew was the person..or vampire..responsible would pay.

Rhyss was driving around shooting any stray vampires he could see when he heard a huge explosion and looked in his mirror to see the equivilant of a mushroom cloud in the distance. He slammed on the breaks, turned, and went full speed back towards Kilo Point. He was about halfway there when he got Matt's radio. He had a very good idea of who it was judging by Jack's previous response, had he meant this as a warning? Looks like Rhyss just got a new target...

Magnus saw the explosion, he also felt Mithias's and someone else's presence dim, not dead.. He also knew where the blast came from. Perhaps he could now reason with SOLDIER...if they..no if he..could take down that warship his plans would be rather trivial. Magnus grinned and gathered up his things, circling around the mountain through the forest. If he could sneak up on someone important or that SOLDIER valued and held them hostage, perhaps they would listen to reason.. He reached the area of the forest near where his original cave was, thankfully he had relocated.. He could sense a Oldblood such as he as well as a human relatively nearby. Unsure if the Oldblood was with SOLDIER or not he decided to go for the human. He circled around the other presence and came up behind the human as quietly as possible, he lurched up behind him and put his left arm across his chest and his right claw to his back. "What the hell?! Get the fuck off me!" The man said. Magnus simply grinned "If you are wise you will stay still and let you and what's left of your men hear me out, it would also be wise to limit your movement. See, that cold spot on your back would be really sharp blades, make a wrong move and oops, there goes your spine. Got me?" Unable to move due to his captors strength the man simply grunted in response. "Now, move." Magnus said moving forward, keeping the man in front of his head but to the side enough for him to see. If they wanted to shoot him, they'd have to shoot this guy too.

He had heard his voice before, people listened to his commands when he spoke, he figured he was of importance. Magnus walked with him till they were on the front side of the HQ standing in the middle of the street. "Put down your weapons and calm yourselves or this man dies. I'll assume you know who I am, yes? I merely wish to speak with you for a moment, perhaps enlighten you. At the end of this conversation once we all have a better understanding I will release this man, and be on my way should you dis-agree. You see, I have a plan that cannot be done alone. I know you will most assuredly dis-agree at first, but I believe it is in your best intrest you hear me out till the end..yes indeed."

"You see, SOLDIER is not what you brain washed little monkey's think it is all about. Sure, they wish to maintain order, THEIR order. Have you not noticed the decrease in Oldblood's such as myself? We Oldblood's hold much knowledge of the world and how it works, we were here before most of you were ever even born. Some, even before me, we refer to them as Ancient's. I do believe quite a few hold high politcal power and standing in the world yes? What would happen if they knew SOLDIER's true intentions of eliminating the whole of the vampire race? War would surely be immenient. I can assure you there are those older and far more powerful than I that wouldn't hesitate to destroy the entireity of SOLDIER and anything and everyone associated with them should they know this. I'm sure a few of you know about Jack and his experiments? Some of his SOLDIER's yes? Well, one of them just so happens to be a friend I long though dead. Turned against her will, into a machine barely human, stripped of all her memories. Yes, she was human, the one human who understood me. SOLDIER wants nothing more than Vampires to be eliminated so they can experiment on our kind and yours alike to fully control the world as a whole. Can't you see the bigger picture in all of this? They could give a damn less about balance, protecting humanity, any of it. All they want is the world and everyone in it to be controlled to do their bidding."

"Already SOLDIER is increasing their ranks, their armory, everything in the States and other countries. Now, step one is taking down that flying eyesore above me. Anyone who wishes to join me, feel free to do so. Anyone who still believes SOLDIER is for the better good, have fun being enslaved." Magnus grinned inwardly, he knew those with higher intelligence would side with him, just as Mithias did. Rhyss had pulled up at the edge of the forest minutes before Magnus started his speech, he silently walked up beside him and said "I'll join you, Magnus. It had been my plan all along to find you for the same purpose." Rhyss told him and thought 'more or less'.
