Heyas everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend! I'm glad to hear you had a great time at Comic-con, Rex! I would say it's a shame you couldn't do ziplining, but it fucking sucks, dude.

Tales of the World: Naturally this one comes in first! I've never ran or played an rp that ever achieved this much consistency or success, and gotten as far as this one has before with the quality it's gotten, so I'm massively, massively happy about that. And of course, all of you guys. This rp introduced me to Fox and Kathi and it's been nothing but an awesome trip since the start! All of your characters and ideas and writing has just been so phenomenal and so much fun. You guys all make me so happy, so thank you for that. :)
Fox's Midnight Train to Nowhere: Whilst I wasn't a part of this rp for too long, I have to say it was one of the most fun and exciting experiences I've been a part of, and I managed to meet a lot of cool new people from it too, like Kei and Aki c| Fox, Kathi and Kei's story and world is so immaginative, exciting, creative and fun. The level of detail and forethought and planning is impeccable, and I still stalk it to this day >8D I'm personally hoping Fox's players pick the super wrong and horrible end. A part of me wishes I could have still stayed in so I could have been a nasty bastard and had my character help steer things to that end, but alas D| Keep doing what you guys do, because you're doing an absolutely amazing job.
Bentleee's Black Rainbows: This was the rp where I first met Rex on our old forum 8D It had one of the most interesting concepts for an rp I've seen yet:- Set within Hell, it details a ritual/game where the 'devil' offers a number of his denizens the chance to redeem their souls if they're able to pass three of his trials that each get successively more and more dangerous, something no prior contestants have been able to achieve. It was a lot of fun to play with, having a group of characters who were all essentially bad, evil or untrustworthy, have to work together or use each other in order to progress and survive the trials they were faced with... and genuinely exciting to see how things would turn, especially considering at the end of the day the game was being ran by the devil, and who can honestly take his word at face value?
Forest of the Future: This rp was interesting because it started with the rp creator writing one post with like two lines about a beautiful sunny day in a forest where anything was possible and then... vanishing. Normally an rp like that would be dead out of the door, but this one not only managed to keep going without a GM, but did so successfully. Everyone who was within the rp pulled together and helped communicate and set things up for everyone else, and together we managed to make a pretty distinct and interesting story and world. Anyway was possible was right. I literally felt a level up in my rping and GMing skills from that rp, hehe. The actual topic creator popped back for a post about a year later and was like 'WTF HOW DID YOU GUYS DO THIS?!', was fun. c|

BIG BRO DON CAPUELLO
I have never before created or played a character so fun and interesting and diverse and open for so many different possible reactions. I have so much freedom with Don, it's amazing. Normally it's super hard to write a bizarre and wacky character in an rp because it doesn't make sense or fit the tone of the rp, but Don does, and I'm super happy for that. I get to tap into my inner manliness, childhood stupidity and love for 80s rock and roll and come up with pure silliness. I mean, I've had him dance and sing like Michael Jackson, be dressed up and pretend to be a superhero, and have him perform the coolest rock concert ever. And it all fits within the IC context. Wtf. And there's still a deep character behind him. I've never been more satisfied with an rp character before then I have with Don. 8D I think every rp should have a wild horse character like him! He'll be back. c|
Jack
Jack first appeared in Black Rainbows as one of the trialers' antagonists, leading the second ritual. He's a lot of fun because he's over the top and bombastic- he allows me to really overplay formal, british characteristics, whilst at the same time... being absolutely psycopathic. He's sick and madly twisted. You all have a good idea of how evil I am... and Jack's the incarnation of that. Someone who's polite, pleasant and punctual, even whilst horribly stabbing you in the chest. In Black Rainbows, I had him give the cast a day of rest after the first trial, and even helped heal their wounds before he promised them that the second trial would start the following day. He kept to his word, by starting it at midnight on the dot and inflicting an entire massacre of the people staying at the hotel the trialers were at (all whilst he was playing the piano in the centre of it at the hotel's bottom). And to add insult to injury, he framed those heroes for it, and tasked them with proving their innocence.
What a jerk.
Jack made his comeback in Tales in our Vandrell horror chapter, although his actions there as the butler were a bit more muted. However that was all just setup and foreshadowing for the future, because when Jack makes his comeback, something I've already made great plans for... let's just say it's going to be one hell of a fun sick and twisted nightmare. >8D
Estelle Fenix
My shonen esque character >8D
I have a lot of fun writing her. I don't know why in particular, I just think her personality's infectious. It infects all of her companions and me too, haha. Being stupid helps a lot too. I don't know, I think sometimes it can be really dangerous and difficult to have a main character/leader who doesn't become overly mary sue-ish or cliche and trite. I don't know if I'm succeeding with Estelle, but I like to try my best and make her a fun character to read and follow. Hopefully I'm doing okay? Haha.

Elaine Wyfoot
Characters with fun personalities just tend to be whom I find fun, I guess? Haha. I didn't really write much for her, but I had fun with her concept as a woman who wants to be a mother but can't, asserting herself as a mother to others. She acts as someone a lot younger then she actually is, and acts kind of stupid and immature, but is actually incredibly serious and deep and skilled at what she does. Plus, chakrams are fun, and she's the one who forever ruined Lucien's opportunities to get a romance with a girl in this rp the moment she dubbed him Lucy.
She'll also be back. c|

I can't really contribute to this convo lmao, this is the only major RP I've been in (believe it or not I'm not someone who enjoys RPing normally, Tales is just an exception to the rule) and I haven't played enough chars to pick a favourite. Even including the minors though, Tales has them all beat in both categories. All three of them. Two of which had characters I've carried over to Tales in anyway.

No specific order, I just like numbering stuff. Also I noticed that I like fantasy/adventure rps. OTL
#1: Lies of the Thrones (discontinued)
Ugh, this saddens me up until now. Lies was just so... vivid, y'know. I loved how planned out everything was, including the political relations between the factions (people especially hated Lucciola, the assassin subguild (*cough* Lute was the unofficial secretary *cough*)) and the deities. It was so fun since there was so much to do, and that despite there having a set of abilities, everybody has different variations that read off pretty well! Not to mention the cast was so diverse and it was really cool to see a Crusader get snooty at a Keeper because of their different backgrounds, while a Freelancer steals shit and causes trouble for everyone. 8D
Also Tytus's descriptions makes my brain explode in awe. It died when he and Sobriquet poofed though. *sighs*

*blushus* I'm really glad I got invited to this rp. *blushing intensifies* Hahaha. It's really great and I'm glad how everyone just adapts for the current scene, there's great communication and a cool give-and-take system that's pretty new to me but I think it's pretty amazing :D *runs out of words* It's a real treat to read everyone's posts too, and I love the cast to bits! You're all amazing! I'm looking forward to more times with everyone! ^^

All the pain and suffering hiding under that fluffy facade. I'm so freaking happy it got this far I just- *breaks down and sobs*- I was so paranoid that it would die because I've been in a lot of great rps that just wither away, but I'm so glad we have such a dedicated cast! I love how they're so pleasant to change things that don't fit with the current plot device, that positive attitude is seriously one way to go to make someone feel motivated about stuff.
... Even if one of them has a character that is now missing a hand. :)
#4: Dream RP (discontinued)
Hmm. If I remember correctly... People connected to a certain incident underwent a phenomena where they enter a different reality when they fall asleep. They assume different personae and specie as well. Too bad it got cut off like a week after the start... I loved the descriptions of the places where the dream personae characters wake up in, and it was amazing since the place was different every time, even changing mid-battle just to shake things up. I think our first battle went from waking up inside a coliseum and then the surroundings shifted and became a swamp? Hydra boss battle!
I also love the character reactions in the real world. Somebody had a crush on my character because he was so thoughtful and reserved and it was funny/ironic since in the dream world he was several inches shorter and... a microphone-toting, star wannabe vampire.
#5: The Fall of Aven
Michi's infamous rp. It's so cool. And stressful. You can choose either to be on the side of the rebels defending the kingdom or the ones conquering it. Oh, the drama and the hype! Every post, you were at 99.9% chance to get smacked by a character from the opposing team, 90% if it's a good day and you're lucky. I think this rp really helped me get more flexible with my posts (not to mention double-check it in case they utilized a blind spot) because people kept trying to kill me, hahahah. So, it was a great experience! In time I think I got used to all the assassination attempts and didn't get that nervous when I read new posts.
I met a few good peeps while playing through this one too.
No specific order. I'll just number them to avoid mentioning their names. 8D
#1: Xerxes (Used Durarara!!'s Shizuo as character pic.) <-- I remember this because someone fangirled and shipped their OC with him OTL
He was the head butler in a mansion where everyone was frozen in time. I don't recall much since even the staff wasn't given details about the plot, but there was supposed to be a one day ball where people from outside could come in as guests. He's a strictly formal and cold person, and has a bad reputation to boot since he's basically the newest member of the household. The previous head butler died a day before he arrived and he doesn't talk about that. I... didn't think I did a good job with his character since the girl who was being shipped with him kept chasing after in causing the most inappropriate of situations... He ended up more talkative than I wanted. *sigh* Still, I recognize that he had great potential if only I had more time to play his story out.
#2: Songbird! (Used Minstrel job class model from Ragnarok Online as character pic.)
THUGBIRD IN THE HOUSE! It's always fun to play loose cannons and people who don't take shit from brats! 8D Songbird is so easy to write since our attitudes are very similar, and I always have fun writing as him because there's always something that he finds stupid! Songbird posts are basically me reacting to everything, hahaha.
#3: Victoria Sieghart (*sizzles*)
Victoria was a character for RP #5. She's a totally smokin' babe who knows her cards and deals them well. It was always great to see people underestimating her only to be whooped spectacularly. Unlike my usual play as a holier-than-thou person fighting for good, Vicky's totally on the "bad side" for the money. She also liked stealing from people. I think the trait I adored most about her was her bluntness. It was funny to see her trash a character for making a speech instead of just getting to the fight. She made me change my perspective of what was good and bad (I kept playing for the "nice people" back then) so it was a great experience.
#4: Skye Valtreion (Used Gino from Atelier as the character pic)
Skye just wrote himself, to be honest. My main concept was someone who can fight decently, but was more powerful out of the battlefield. Skye has connections everywhere... His IC interactions were cordial, and the way he spoke was naturally ambiguous. It was so much fun because what the stuff he said was perfectly normal, but there was this dark, subtle meaning to it that just felt off. I've never had a character who was more than capable of treating his 'companions' as pawns and then watch calmly as they fulfilled his commands, and that would've been Skye if Lies held on longer. Still, he has his blind spots... Bits and pieces of angst flying around everywhere just waiting to be revealed to portray the human underneath. I really wish I had the chance to write more as Skye OTL
#5: Lute (Used Logix from Atelier as the character pic)
Hehe.
I love playing as Lute. I'm not sure how you guys see him, but I like how his gray morality works. It's always fun to have a character who seems wimpy but actually packs a lot of conviction! I hope I've been doing okay so far that by now everyone has developed a 'feel' of Lute's persona. ^^
#6: Percy Jackson dude
I forgot his name but I made him for an rp about demigods. The parent deities were pulled from various races, and I like stalked it for days and got offended that nobody wanted to take Lidagat (Philippine/Visayan goddess of the sea) so I made an impromptu decision to join. He's a province boy (I chose Batanes as his homeplace, those are the islands at the very tip of the Philippine archipelago) and it was refreshing to play as him. Probably because everyone's so snooty and he's a pure little babu dragged away from his seashell-gathering life to protect the world and whatnot. So innocent.

THUGBIRD IN THE HOUSE! It's always fun to play loose cannons and people who don't take shit from brats! 8D Songbird is so easy to write since our attitudes are very similar, and I always have fun writing as him because there's always something that he finds stupid! Songbird posts are basically me reacting to everything, hahaha.
#3: Victoria Sieghart (*sizzles*)
Victoria was a character for RP #5. She's a totally smokin' babe who knows her cards and deals them well. It was always great to see people underestimating her only to be whooped spectacularly. Unlike my usual play as a holier-than-thou person fighting for good, Vicky's totally on the "bad side" for the money. She also liked stealing from people. I think the trait I adored most about her was her bluntness. It was funny to see her trash a character for making a speech instead of just getting to the fight. She made me change my perspective of what was good and bad (I kept playing for the "nice people" back then) so it was a great experience.
#4: Skye Valtreion (Used Gino from Atelier as the character pic)
Skye just wrote himself, to be honest. My main concept was someone who can fight decently, but was more powerful out of the battlefield. Skye has connections everywhere... His IC interactions were cordial, and the way he spoke was naturally ambiguous. It was so much fun because what the stuff he said was perfectly normal, but there was this dark, subtle meaning to it that just felt off. I've never had a character who was more than capable of treating his 'companions' as pawns and then watch calmly as they fulfilled his commands, and that would've been Skye if Lies held on longer. Still, he has his blind spots... Bits and pieces of angst flying around everywhere just waiting to be revealed to portray the human underneath. I really wish I had the chance to write more as Skye OTL
#5: Lute (Used Logix from Atelier as the character pic)
Hehe.
I love playing as Lute. I'm not sure how you guys see him, but I like how his gray morality works. It's always fun to have a character who seems wimpy but actually packs a lot of conviction! I hope I've been doing okay so far that by now everyone has developed a 'feel' of Lute's persona. ^^
#6: Percy Jackson dude
I forgot his name but I made him for an rp about demigods. The parent deities were pulled from various races, and I like stalked it for days and got offended that nobody wanted to take Lidagat (Philippine/Visayan goddess of the sea) so I made an impromptu decision to join. He's a province boy (I chose Batanes as his homeplace, those are the islands at the very tip of the Philippine archipelago) and it was refreshing to play as him. Probably because everyone's so snooty and he's a pure little babu dragged away from his seashell-gathering life to protect the world and whatnot. So innocent.

1.The Lost Humans:
I don't remember who the GM was, but I just fell in love with the concept. It was about a group of twelve humans who were taken away by the government during a time of war. They were experimented on and put into cryogenic sleep for fifty years. The group also had their memories wiped and their new purpose would be to serve as weapons for the government.
It was pretty cool since everyone had a power that was somewhat related to their lives before the experiment. My character used to help out at animal shelters so I gave her enhanced reflexes and a beast mode that she couldn't quite control. The character dynamics were really fun as well. It was a shame the GM just up and left us though :c in the end we couldn't keep it going and it died.

2. The Holiday Realm:
This RP will forever have a special place in my heart! It was made by a friend who went by Kyrianei back on tinierme. It was just so magical and whimsical <3! Ughhh, I still miss it. And the holidays were all so precious, even Friday the 13th.
There is a small town (I forgot the town's name OTL), it's an unassuming and quiet place, but on one day every year, a portal to the holiday world opens up. The holiday world is a colorful realm where the personifications of the holidays live. There's April Fools and Friday the 13th, and all the holidays that exist. The portal exists at the bottom of the pond and if you close your eyes and sink to the bottom, you'll find yourself in the holiday realm.
The plot revolved around a couple of humans who decided to test the legend. They end up in the holiday realm and get into all sorts of silly shenanigans. The group RP died really quickly though so Kyri and I ended up doing a 1x1 that lasted for almost a year.
It was amazing. Usually, I'm terrible at staying committed to 1x1's, didn't have that problem with this though. We twisted it up a little and instead of having the humans stuck in the holiday realm, we played two holidays each and had them stuck in the human realm. It was so funny! *sobs* We almost finished it, but then tinierme decided to shut down ;A; I still miss them so much.

Ughhh, I miss this one too. So much planning went into it, but we never even managed to get past the first mission. So much time was spent working on the political relationships, deities, and magic mechanics too.
The story revolves around one country governed by three factions. Each of the factions had varying opinions on magic and the deities and this caused conflict. The factions were created after a great tragedy. Basically, whenever someone uses magic, they open up a portal to the Neverworld. If a mage uses too much magic, they get possessed by the beings from the other world. People grew power-hungry and opened up a rift. It summoned a demon that nearly destroyed the country.
After it was sealed away, people had mixed beliefs about magic and the country was divided. The first mission in IC was supposed to have a cult planning to open up another rift with the use of some artifact. The RP was supposed to explore the relationships of the factions since they would be forced to work together in order to prevent another tragedy.
Fun fact: Lute, Aria, and Xan came from that RP xD and were all Keepers. Tales Xan became an entirely different person though.

4. Tales of the World:
The RP that showed me RP's could live long, healthy lives.
I love you all, you're all just amazing people and this is a grand, grand place. I've learned so much about proactive posting and dedication during my time with you guys. I'm really glad I bumped into this while browsing the site as Panda Chan xD! *Pulls you all into a group hug* The dynamics between the cast and the world and everything is just the bomb B) plus it has Don in it! Did I say I love you guys? *repeats it 100 times*

I think I started it a month or so after I joined tales. Recently, it had been dead RP after dead RP, but tales made me believe a RP could live as long as it had dedicated people. I thought maybe if I followed your formula (consistent posting rules/story divided into chapters) I could get something off the ground. And it worked :D!
I've always been a sucker for Alice in Wonderland, Coraline, and dreamlike places with darkness hidden beneath. The result was Nowhere, a crapsaccharine world of flying whales, chocolate rivers, and man-eating ducks. I've never GMed a RP that lived for this long, so I'm pretty happy and plan to see it through to the end. Kathi-chan and Kei-chan have been awesome co-gms and a massive help and I met a lot of cool people because of it <3 everyone is really nice.
Also, during chapter one we hit a rough patch and I asked Pach for advice as Fox :P (he didn't know I was Panda chan yet.)
I wanted to add a few more OwO but wow it's pretty long. I'm sorry, OTL.
Anddd I can't resist *throws in honorable mentions*
The Carriers: It was the first RP I ever did. I was too nervous to join RPs so I made my own, OTL. It was also where I met Kei-chan. It lasted for a good 5-ish months and had three parts. I don't remember it too well, but it was a ton of fun xD. It revolved around a group of 12-16 year old teens who found themselves at school during Z-day. They teamed up and somehow managed to survive with bats and sports equipment. I forgot what happened next, but for some reason they managed to get guns and knew how to use them perfectly. They also managed to grab cars and a couple of motorbikes and ended up breaking into a lab where they discovered the cure, haha. There was a lot of zombie killing.
The Last Embers: It was created by Lovejoy and was a beautifully crafted and dark, steampunk world. The Gods were at war and as a result fire was banished from the world. We played inquisitors who had just been ordained, they were supposed to be sent somewhere on a steam ark in order to find their comrades who went missing? I'm not sure if I'm getting it right xD
OTL, this post is huge. I had a ton of fun with it e.e! I'll post the character portion tomorrow.

I'm gonna shower and freshen up before I start working on a post. :) So I hope no one minds that I call next!
I've not been in many RPs either, at least none that lasted long enough for me to say I loved it, bar this one. I have some that I wanted to like but either died too quickly, or looking back on it were not as good as I remembered. Black Rainbows was fun while it was running, but once part 1 (of 3) was completed, I realized that the pacing was destroying my immersion. I enjoyed Pacman's setup with a hotel massacre, and the scenes that were supposed to follow from it, but it still didn't help the fact that everything took place in like the same four hours, IC-wise. Also, everyone posting once a month (with one guy posting twice a year) sucked too.
I really wanted to like For the Future We Fight too, another RP Pacman GMed, but that got cut off so disappointingly early. :( One RPer knocked every single one of my characters out (they were all villains) so I literally couldn't do anything when it slowed down to death. :/ We wrote both present/future scenes of our characters at the same time, and the future characters' goal iirc was to travel back in the past to stop the future from turning into what it did. It was cool to see changes. One guy's chars on present scene had a father and son, and the future scene was the son grown up. My three chars (incl. a pet cockatoo) were villains in the present, but in the future only one of them are there and is working as a spy for the protagonist. So it would've been interesting to see the development, but alas...
So Tales has the throne for my favorite RP hahaha
Character-wise, of everyone I've ever played as, I really like to write three (I don't have pictures lol).
Exandra, an obsessed, frantic, condescending psycho who is always sick (sneezes and sniffles all the time) and is engrossed with zombies. I used her for a few seconds in Black Rainbows but that RP I fucked up a lot in, so she didn't really go as planned. She debuted elsewhere though, kinda zombie-based RP so that was a lot of fun.
"Now hold still. *sniff* For science."
Valentine, who was also in Vandrell, was a lot of fun too. I like her a lot mostly because she's... different from most tropes. She's a stoic, no-nonsense badass, but instead of having a thin and serious femme fatale look, she has bubblegum pink hair and a stocky body. Regardless of that she wears skin-tight latex cuz she doesn't give a shit about her weight. :D Outside of Tales she controls shadow demons and not ghosts; just thought I'd experiment with the horror theme with her for this RP hahaha.
Crispin is my other baby, a pyro chef who fights with brass knuckles and fire-punches. He had a cameo in Los Paraisos XD. He also has a pet land-dwelling octopus named Bazooka who cooks too and makes more money than he does.

Ah, I'm loving this SO SO MUCH. I think I might have to actually turn this into a couple of threads in the Discussion section or at least post and ask the members of the Legends of Midnight group. So, so much fun.
All of your prior rps have such neat concepts! I love that Holiday themed one a lot (seriously, that's genius) and Lies of the Throne sounds like it had a really cool setup and love and attention placed to it. It's a shame it didn't get too far and that the GMs abandoned it quite quickly. Even then I wish I was around for the planning, since it sounds like you guys had such a blast doing that. I'm jealous >8D
I remember Fox's (or rather, Panda's) Aven rp too. I wasn't a part of it but it had a wonderful concept, and it's neat that you're reusing it for Midnight. ^^ We need to make sure we save these rp concepts for the future though, I wanna play some of these for definite. Fox's Carriers mention makes me really want to do a zombie rp again. :( They're such oldies, but goodies.
HOLY SHIT REX I FORGOT ALL ABOUT For the Future we Fight (F3). It didn't get as far as I'd have liked but the concept... hng. The general concept was, like Rex said, two timelines, one for the Present, one for the Future. In the present, it was set one week before the government would activate a worldwide broadcast signal that would inhibit people from criminal thoughts and activity, essentially wiping out crime immediately and rendering world peace. In the week up to that broadcast, tensions around the world were obviously growing and crime was, ironically, at its highest peak. And then, the future... well, something went wrong. There was peace, but at a totalitarian cost. Apart from a few rebellious individuals, the world's populous was rendered braindead worker zombies, going about their lives and jobs without really thinking anything. It was a peace, but not the peace that was desired, and any resistance to that was met with opposition by this sort of robot security, since something was governing and controlling things.
The rp was run with both timelines being shown with the same characters, except different from the ten year gap, but what had happened inbetween was unexplained/unplanned and part of the mystery in finding out. For example, in the Present my character was a gangmember trying to break out of the crime family he was a part of. In the Future, he was a rebel leader with a cybernetic arm and eye. In the Past, one character who he'd met was a law abiding, goody twoshers who was trying to be a lawyer and who took an immediate dislike to my character. In the future, he was a chaotic anarchist and close confidant and ally to my character. How did they get that way, etc? Such fun. And on top of that, there was a plot involving sending the souls of those in the future back into their past bodies to try and prevent this future from occuring (Third Birthday style) if they even could. So good. Unfortunately some people didn't really get this and would only play characters in one timeline, since they couldn't imagine character differences/development without plotting it all out beforehand. Kind of missed the point of the rp that way. D|
Also Kei, Rex, I love your chars so much <3 I'm glad we got Crispin and Val in Tales, we should Exandra in there somewhere too, even as a guest for a chapter! And Kei, the exact same for your characters! :D I want me some Victoria hnnnng

Man, I'd love to try F3 all over again, but I don't think a lot of players would *get* the premise. :/ I know it'd make sense to everyone here, because you guys actually know how to RP lol, but most other people on this site feel a little simple-minded, if not brain-dead. You know? It's out of the ordinary because that's partially the point haha, and I think things like this will just blow everyone else's minds too badly. XD

Also, Valentine's powers were boss B) I can't wait to see more of her and Jack, and Bazooka sounds like such a cutie. For the Future we Fight sounds super unique and cool, seems like it was a blast (^w^)/
And as for favorite OCs
1. Tobias Blac (Fall of Aven):
It's funny because he has Tobias' name and Dylan's powers. OTL, long lost child.
He was one of the rebels who fought against the empire to save the city of Aven. Playing him was interesting because while most of the people knew what it was like to live in a time before the war, he was really, really young when it started. His parents were rebels who were taken out by King Nevermore's men, so he lived with the rebels for as long as he could remember. (I still remember when Vicky gave him knife throwing lessons ;A; that was cute.) The war was normal to him, so it was cool playing someone who saw war time as just another day. I think my favorite thing about him was his twisted sense of justice. Tobias was generally a nice guy, but killing for the cause was pretty normal. He was as loyal as a dog to the rebels. Another thing I liked about his character was that he was always trying to infect people with laughter. One of his mentors kind of hanged herself so he made it his mission to never let the war destroy his or his friend's happiness.
2. Alina Alkaev (The Last Embers):
It was really fun, playing a healer who constantly tried to fix others while she herself was pretty broken.
Alina was one of the inquisitors who had just been ordained and she's probably one of my most serious characters. Training at the red seminary was pretty brutal and intense, mostly inquisitors came out more like weapons than human beings, and while most of her batch mates managed to resist growing cold and robot-like she embraced it because it was less painful that way. Since she was a healer, death was common and she had seen the most grizzly of wounds. Growing cold and distant was pretty much a self-defense mechanism. The mission they were going on was supposed to be super dire, so I planned to have Alina lose more of her humanity before finally realizing what she has become. It probably would have been fun.
3. Lucien Maddox (Tales of the World)
Ahahaha, I've been having so much fun doing idiotic things as this guy. With Lucien, it's pretty easy to do something weird and stupid and pass it off as normal. Plus having him blurt out comments that don't fit the situation is pretty fun too. He thinks he's so cool .__. but Elaine defo destroyed his reputation. Poor guy, forever paired with various dudes but never a lady, at least he has fluffy animals to keep him company.
4. Mr. Cuddles (Midnight Train to Nowhere)
An eight foot tall bear, who talks and wears a top hat that's a few sizes too small. (AKA: Xan's worst nightmare //shot) Mr. Cuddles is just a NPC, but playing as him was super fun, so I'm defo making him a main in the future. He runs a bakery and is one of the most famous cakesmiths in all of Nowhere. He's also very protective of his friends and is overly emotional. Aside from that, he totes around a giant Axe.
