Edo-Beatrix
The young woman took a step back when she saw Sasha begin creating a dragon out of ice. "Wha-what?" she let out nervously, skipping back slightly as it shot boulders of ice at her. She dodged most of them but threw a punch at the last one, shattering the ice and spraying it across the courtyard. Despite handling the immediate threat, Edo-Beatrix was clearly rattled. "Was that magic? How can you have magic?" Mayt began approaching now, and Edo-Beatrix seemed worried.
A scowl formed on her face as she dashed forward, fist first. Rather than punching his lights out, some strange magic circle appeared just inches away from his face underneath her fist. "Wha-?" The reflected force of her own attack sent her flying backwards, hitting the ground with her back first and rolling a few meters before bouncing onto her feet and sliding to a halt. "You can't use magic," Edo-Beatrix said. "That's impossible." She looked over to the twins for support, creating a silent staredown.
"Well, I'm outta here," the talkative twin said, booking it toward the Legion and hopping onto its back. His silent brother remained in the same spot, hands still in his pockets. "You fucking coward!" "No, I'm doing my job. Something you wouldn't understand. Hya!" The Legion flapped its wings once and began to lift off, leaving his comrades to fight on the ground. Edo-Beatrix returned her glare to Mayt and Sasha. "Don't need help anyways. Even if you have magic you have weaknesses somewhere." She raised both her hands over her head and brought them together as a single fist. "I'll just have to find them!" The tan woman slammed her fists into the ground, creating a directional shockwave toward Mayt and Sasha, destroying the ground underneath their feet.
The big, armored man made no effort to dodge Edo-Damien's counterattack. His claymore smashed into the armor, but went no further in than a dent. "You cannot break this armor," Grade said, bringing his sword back in a lower sweep this time. "The thickest armor you can find in Edolas. I am one of the few strong enough to operate under its incredible weight. And I specialize in killing swordsmen." After his slash, he leaned in with a shoulder-charge to knock Edo-Damien off his feet. Though I am concerned, the armored man began to contemplate. With the opponents using magic, we can't win this battle. None of us are equipped to handle that.
Maddox
The red-haired mage crossed his arms over his chest. "The Anima," he began to explain. "I don't know how it works, but it is responsible for the transfer of objects between our world and one parallel to ours called Edolas. Many regard it as a mere myth, but it is a land similar to ours but with a different history and only a small, finite amount of magic." Maddox turned to face Trinity now. "Our guildmate, Wes Gusto, was sent there some time ago. Our reason to come here was to find a way to get him back. Now it just seems that even more of us have been sent to Edolas."
