Amaya managed to land safely on the ground falling to one knee but managing to get back up as she face planed herself when Nolan canceled out all the effort she and floe placed into having the sand mage frozen "Damnit Nolan! You completely ruined the frozen prison me and flow managed to catch the guy in...We had him!"She yelled angerly to the God slayer as she wanted to hurt him for ruining all she and floe did to try capturing the guy.

Amaya wiped some sweat from her brow. In this environment she was not the best person to have as she was currently fighting fatigue and the possibility of passing out from this heat. "Either help us and not destroy our attacks or stay out of the way"She added not managing it as a threat but this needed to end soon.

"oh great."she whispered digging her feet into the sand to get a better stance" ice dragon's wing"she said as she ran a hand along her arms encasing them in ice as the temperature in the sand storm around her dropped dramatically" Perfect"she said taking a defensive stance. She took deep breaths before striking out at each coil freezing each one in a large glacier soon having a small frozen hide away. She soon sat down the middle of the frozen glacier hideaway taking in the cold air,hoping that it will help her just long enough to get to the end of this fight. As snow literally began to fall around from the aura of this spell. Soon her small tornado was literally frozen. She sent a few slashes into the frozen tornado sending shards in every direction as she brushed off some snow" that feels better"she commented before darting towards the mage. Once amaya could manage to get close avoiding various attacks she sent several slashes and kicks attempting to possibly encase him in ice once and for all. The ground and area around was starting to freeze but not as quick as it should as she was really wearing down " you stupid sand mage. We are not this monster, we are from the Phoenix Wing guild!stop fighting us!"she added hoping to get him to quit this.

Spell explanation:
Ice Dragon's Wing:
The area around Amaya's arm is immediately frozen over and the air becomes frosted in her vicinity. The aura of this spell can instantly freeze anything that comes into extended contact with it, encasing it in a massive glacier. The use of this spell has the added effect of engulfing the surrounding landscape in a frozen tundra, the coldness of which is intense enough to create snow in the sky.

Angelo couldn't help but just smile at him as he talked Angelo just felt that even a bad conversation like this was still a conversation regardless and he talked about how they used to live where he was which was odd but Angelo didn't really care and when he talked about a gift being an appreciated curse and a curse was an unappreciated gift Angelo just smiled wider and he asked Angelo his opinion on it and Angelo simply said "a gift. have you ever heard the phrase nothing worth having in life comes easy? everyone in phoenix wing has a dark past and has felt some pain but you know what that's what makes us a family. Call your magic what you want a curse or a gift but a gift isn't given to you, you have to earn it. From what I can guess from that other mark on your hand that meant you paid your dues before and now you have magic. A gift most people would only dream of, never take it for granted because with magic you have the chance to change the world for the better and get stronger. I told you my goal so what's your?" Angelo said smiling gently patting his shoulder in a friendly matter, Angelo was a hard guy to piss off and in most situation he will just smile or laugh it off.

Sasha nkdded in acknowledgment to what Trinity said, her eyes on Lazarus. You shouldn't have to worry about your drink being tampered with. She knew she wouldn't leave any drink unattended again.

She frowned slightly as the train moved, and then rose smoothly. "whoever did this could still be on this train. Watching us" but she looked to Trinity, and then, rummaged through her satchel, taking out her well loved, battered sketchbook. She had been drawing since she was a kid, and first learned of her magic. She flipped to the first few pages, and then, showed Trinity a page. It was a somewhat clumsy drawing, made when she was nine years old, but you could still see what it was meant to be "is this the mark?" she asked softly

As Shujin spoke up, she looked over to him, and gave a shake of her head. "please. I can't get into this at the moment. We have to get home, and thats all I need to think about." She hoped she kept her voice level, and that she didn't let any doubts creep into her voice, but she wasn't too sure.

Jarvis looked to Jack, unnerved by the old Fairy Tail Custom of farewell. Uneasy filled him, and he scanned the room for Jamie. But he wasn't there. Jarvis knew if he looked in her office, she wouldn't be there either.

That damned Wes.

As Rose came over, and introduced herself, Jarvis gave her a nod, but the ineasy didn't disappear. "what has Jamie done?" he asked softly, to Rose.

Penny

Penny had come downstairs, and was furious at what had happened, and stood silently where she was. As the council woman came back in, without Jamie, Penny stormed over to her, fire in her eyes.

"get out of this guild, now." she stood in the doorway, blocking the woman's path, fury in every movement, her eyes glaring at her. The woman hesitsted, and seemed unsure what to do.

"you see this mark?" she pointed to her guild mark, in a quick movement "I will protect my guild, and you have no business here anymore. So get lost" she said, pushing the council woman pit the guild, "now" perhaps it was something Penny did. Or maybe the woman was just uneasy. She fled, and Penny watched to make sure she did. She looked back over the guild, seeing the young Elyse.

She seemed young to be in the guild, but if her mother was, you couldn't really tell the kid to bugger off. penny sighed softly, watching as Rose approached Jarvis, and spoke with him and Amelia.

She sighed once more. Looks like she couldn't leave just yet. At least not until Damian was back. Or Mayt woke from what seemed to be a coma. She went over to the unconscious Mayt, and poked him, not expecting a response. Well, he couldn't stay in a chair all night.

As for this mark, it is not because I paid back what I did. Rather, it is a mark for what I've done, a mistake I can never take back. No matter what I do, I can never take that mistake back. The mistake I made because of magic.

As for dreams, I have none. I simply seek something akin to redemption, though I will never have it. I am not foolish enough to think I will. I can simply keep working towards it but it shall forever be out of reach."

Amelia glanced at Rose's hand before reaching out and shaking it.
"H-hello." She said nervously as her wings moved to hide behind her back." I'm Amelia. Amelia Averyonna."

Elyse meanwhile and moved behind Amelia to look at her wings more and jumped up, grabbing one and causing Amelia to let out a frightened scream as she jerked away, causing Elyse to fall over.
"Owie." Elyse said, sitting up and staring up at Amelia before spotting the giant 'L' in the sky"Mommy, wha that?"

Amelia glanced over in the 'L's direction as well, and wondered what it meant. More trouble probably.

"So you're finally leaving, eh?" a voice came from Wes' side. Leaning against a building was the red-haired mage known as Maddox. His signature coat having been destroyed he now wore a sleek leather jacket, matching perfectly with the rest of his black clothing. A cigarette was already lit, held in his hand as he blew smoke from his mouth. His red eyes showed no emotion as he let a moment of silence take the conversation. "Didn't take you for a big-picture kinda guy."

He stopped leaning on the wall and approached Wes casually, taking a quick drag on his cigarette. "Ya know..." he began, moving his free hand into his pocket and removing a small, red cube that appeared to be made of plastic. "Just because you're leaving doesn't mean you're gone." Maddox gave the cube a light toss towards Wes, making it an easy catch. "I know you aren't a quitter. By the way... you've gotten older. You're older than me now."

"Did you get any stronger? Or does it not work like that?" Maddox flashed him a grin, before taking another drag on his cigarette. "I'm just playing. Anyways, you're a free man. You can do as you please. I'll be sticking around. Someone's gotta save these guys when they need it." The smile faded away now, the neutral expression from before returning in its stead. "I can do you one last favor. Blink to another town or something like that. I'm sure you can't just lead a normal life, considering your history, so you might want to think about where you're going."

Rose commented as she moved to Jarvis giving him a hug before she whispered" from what I heard the woman that was tossed out was with the council...I think Jamie has stepped down from being the guildmaster...which if that is true then that leaves you as the new Phoenix wing grandmaster."rose made sure not to let Elyse hear since Jamie was one of else's favorite people. She let go and looked to where Elyse spoke " God please say that isn't with what I think it is..."She commented gently picking Elyse up

“Well, I never really wanted or asked to be one. It just happened to be that way I suppose, being gone for so long and having people look for you really does mean a lot. But for the length that everyone, including you, had to go through just to find me, I should have probably stayed with the guild. But you guys can probably do fine on your own without me, I rather not be another cause problem for them."

As Maddox casually walked towards Wes, Maddox tossed something to him as he spoke. “Thanks for noticing, leaving Earthland for about three months and staying in Edolas for ten years can do that.” He smirked as he continued. “It’s strange; I would think being in Edolas for so long would cut my connection with my magic. You could also say that it could have gotten rusty. But ever since I returned, it feels like my magic immensely escalated in power. It could be that my body was always trying to find magic to recharge itself and kept doing that without noticing for years. And besides the simple training, the meta power that I received probably helps too.”

“And I’m glad that you’ll be around to help them. I wasn’t much use being gone hehe.” When Maddox expression returned to normal and offered Wes a favor, he only smiled as he looked out in the distance. “What exactly is a normal life? Like you said, with my history I probably won’t fit in a town or group for too long. I might carry my problems to other people if stay somewhere for too long. The outdoors has probably been more of my home than my room in the guild hall. So do you think we could save that favor for another time, I think walking would be a better choice for me.” Raising the red cube up. “What is this exactly? Is it the emergency thing that you mentioned awhile back?”

Jarvis looked up the the L as Rose spoke, horror swimming over his face, to disappear quickly, as Jarvis composed himself. He looked to Rose, and then to Young Elyse. He sighed softly. The child was going to be devastated.

"So Jamie's out there. By herself. What trouble is he going to get in without us to get her out of it?" Jarvis wondered out loud, before looking to Amelia, and Eylse, saying "It's an old tradition for the guild Fairy Tail. It means that where ever you go, you will be watched over. You aren't alone. You have friends, and a family." he explained, "essentially, it means 'Farewell, take care. We are here'"

Trinity looked around the train briefly when Sasha mentioned that the person that poisoned Lazarus could still be around. She goes back to her playing, though her attention is quickly caught again as Sasha shows her something from a sketchbook. She leans in to look at it before nodding softly. "Yeah, I think that was it. Hey, that's an ooold drawing, isn't it...?"

He glanced around at their surrounding, taking in the details and making notes of anything that could help guide him through this new place. Lord knows navigating would be his main issue for some time."Alright, lead the way."

Kaso's edge cut deep into Bert's flesh, not deep enough. Before Nolan could even cut further into Bert's stomach, the sand mage used his sand to protect his hand and pushed the blade away, leaving a gash of blood spurting out onto the sand. There wasn't even a chance to follow up with an attack; a vortex of sand surrounded Bert and Nolan leaped back to not get caught in the attack. The s-ranked mage appeared only a few meters away with sand acting as a makeshift bandage to keep himself from bleeding out. "Clever bastard." It was foolish to assume that it would be so easy to take his opponent down, an s-ranked mage, with only one strike. It was going to take a lot more than burying a sword in this man's gut to take him out, a lot more. Nolan swiped his blade against the air, leaving splatters of blood against the sand. Now that introductions had been made, the real fight was about to begin.

The desert was turned into a child's dream; a giant sandcastle. The desert was already his domain, but now he truly made a place that was fit for sand mage. Bert had slammed Fleo into a wall hanging face first and hung from it the waist up and pillars of sand flew at Amaya and Lucas before being blown to pieces by Lucas' Crash Magic. This guy was taking all four of them on, four powerful mages, with relative ease. When Fleo pulled herself out of the wall she sent blasts of dust balls at the sand mage only to be blocked by a shield of sand only to be froze and shattered by Amaya's Ice Dragon Slayer Magic. She had the upper-hand for that one moment, but she was blasted away by a sandstone pillar.

Dammit, what the hell was he doing just standing there?! Ashes collected around Nolan's hands and feet and with a burst, he leaped high into the air with the ashes propelling him higher than he could on his own. He kept leaping from pillar to pillar until he was of equal height to Bert. "Just die you nutcase! Ash God's Bellow!" Nolan breathed out a massive swirling blast of ash, searing hot ash that had enough force to obliterate hard objects with ease.

She looks around one last time before turing back to Ariel and smiles sheepishly, "Sorry, I just have this feeling I can't place even though it's familiar. Let's take a look at the place," she turns and walks into the building and looks around, "So do you need anything specific besides two bedrooms? Or at least two beds. Cause I don't. At least off the top of my head."

Angelo said as he started to walk and decided to stay quiet for the time being until he wanted to start a conversation again. obviously he and Angelo wouldn't see eye to eye for a while but hopefully if they see each other in action they will at least have some respect for each others abilities...

She glanced to Rose, but figured the mother wouldn't object too much, if it prevented the young girl being devastated by Jamies lose

"jamie will be back, eventually, child. We're Phoenix Wing, family. He will come back" she said, in what she hoped was a convincing tone. She pursed her lips thougjyfully, "do you like puppet shows?"

Jarvis

Jarvis didn't know how to answer. How did you describe your best friend? "I don't think Jamie is Master anymore, Amelia. If Jamie left, then I am the master. That's what we always agreed" he said, carefully, slowly. "I wish you could have met Jamie. Jamke is an amazing person, well" what did he do now?

Somewhere in the Desert

Bert could only tense himself as Amaya's Ice Dragon Roar swept through him, freezing his Supine Sidewinder in place and coating the rogue wizard in a thin casing of frost. Under normal circumstances he might well have been frozen solid, but it seemed that the insistent desert sun and quavering, arid air were taking their toll in his opponent. Breaking himself free, Bert prepared to cast another spell, only to find that Amaya had beaten him to it. Shards of ice careened his way, pelting several parts of his body and solidifying each in a frigid cocoon. Caught off guard and off balance, Bert began to topple backward.

It was then that Nolan made his move. Bert watched, trying not to let his fear get the better of him, as the Ash God's Bellow thundered toward him, a brutal amalgamation of heat, soot, and sound that smashed into him unimpeded. Instantly, the warmth of the ash freed him of Amaya's ice, sending up a torrent of steam. “S-Sand Wall!” In the wake of that steam a great quantity of sand flowed in, snaking in between Nolan spell and Bert's body to create a rudimentary shell that kept the full wrath of the Bellow from reducing Bert to a smoldering corpse. Instead, the kinetic force of the Bellow took effect, sending the sand mage flying from his perch, his shell demolished.

”Oh, no!” Fleo exclaimed as her target was enveloped in a tumult of ash and then bodily tossed out of her field of vision. Unable to see Bert any longer, Fleo was forced to release her Vacuum Rupture before it exploded on her, which roared toward where Bert had been standing a moment before and obliterated the now-vacant central tower of the enormous sand castle. She looked at Nolan accusingly. “I had a bead on him when Amaya froze him! You melted the ice and then blocked my shot!” It didn't take long for her to forgive him, however. “Aw, never mind. I'm hardly one to be complaining; teamwork has never been my fortè.”

Using her Sirocco as a boost, Fleo leaped to another pillar to regain vision of the enemy. Before her eyes, Bert smacked into another one of his own pillars and sank into the surface. For a few seconds nobody could tell where he was, but the next moment Bert rose from the top of that column, singed and angry. “For a single monster, your parts aren't working too well together, eh? You did manage to hit me though. Looks like we're getting serious.” He resumed his stance, his visage grim. “Sable Dance!” Sand began to whirl around each of the Powder Kegs, striking and slashing in small bladelike coils. Fleo responded with several Dust Bombs, whose explosions dispelled much of the Sable Dance around her, though two of the Dance coils raked across her unprotected back, prompting a gasp of pain.

Nero – Balsam Village

Nero cupped his chin in his hand and pondered the nature of Trinity's wish. Adults, he decided, always hosted the most complicated desires. How could he possibly help find someone, when all of his spells dealt with enacting a change on someone he'd already found? It presented a puzzling quandary, but it wasn't one that the genie would let pass him by. “Hm...I hear your wish, musician Trinity, but I have no Curse Law that can help you. But! Heehee. But because you've been nice to me, and a true genie never turns down a wish, no matter how hard, I will try anyway. I'll stick around with you until we find who you're looking for, or you get tired of having me around!“ He stretched back, placing his arms behind his head. “No need to thank me, tehee! I go wherever people need me. I expect that more Phoenix goons need wishes in the meantime, so I'll stay busy. Besides, free food? Can't turn that down.”

After that, the dark mage silenced himself to listen to the minstrel's song. He only interrupted it to reply to Trinity's question, “...maybe? I kinda saw his hand when he grabbed my homemade flyer away from me. There was something on it, but I didn't quite see what.”

Smiling she headed into the apartment front office. "I don't think I really need much. My family never really had a big home so you kind of learn to live with it. Not that I'm complaining or anything." They had a fairly short wait before they were able to be helped. Since it didn't seem that either of them had many specific needs Ariel opted for a more complete tour to see all their options. Obviously they only took a look at the two bedroom options. Much like the outside the apartments had a quaint feel to them. The first two were rather small and probably wouldn't work well if they wanted to have anyone over for a visit. There was one that was kind of medium in size which seemed to work out better and a couple larger ones that were even better, of course. The question was how much they wanted to spend or if they wanted to keep looking. "Mmm, I'm not sure what to do. I like how close it is to the guild hall is though."

Prince hummed as he forced Lazarus to drink as the others spoke, before his ears perks as they neared Magnolia. Soon picking up the white clad boy princess style once more and smiled at the little group. "Finally made it, hope you remember where those herbs are exactly, Ice Princess." he chirped before moving to the door and off the train. His long legs carrying him at a quick pace.

After all, he'd rather get the sickly man to a comfortable enviroment. It was better for the patients health. Of course, when Prince neared the Guild, something distracted him and his more serious demenor seemed to freeze and melt away. Ears perking, nose twitching and tail flicking frim side to side. Before he could fully react, he did smile brightly turning to the others and lightly giving Lazarus to Shujin.

"Apologies. Someone I know is here, carry him for me and find a bed for him." the feline chirped before face brightening in a almost childish glee and bolting/skipping/prancing to the Guild. Bursting into the doors with a cheerful expression and arms wide open.

"Maaaaaaaaasteeeeeerrrrrr~! Nyan~!" Prince suddenly yelled quite loudly before promptly glomping onto the Dragon Fang Guild Master, Jack. Purring loudly as the giant catman squeezed the human male wizard saint close. One could almost see hearts just float over his head.

Jack slowly dismissed the symbol in the air above his head, but meant it all the same. Jamie was his friend and one he would not abandon so easily. Still, in the end, perhaps she'd done the right thing in order to spare the guild the Council's wrath. At least until the next time they made a big mess.He turned as he heard the guild doors fly open, wondering what foolishness was about to come his way when he found himself in the furry glomp of Prince.

He stood there, unmoving and barely breathing for a good thirty seconds before an explosion of black flames erupted from him, knocking the cat man away. "GET OFF OF ME, YOU FURRY DEMON!" This, of course, only encouraged the now singed catman to chase his guild master around the hall as he yelled and screamed at the fur covered man. "Get away from me! How many times do I have to tell you that I don't like cats, even if they look like humans! Why did I even let you into my guild?! Gah, get away!" The entire scene was quite comical, the powerful wizard saint running scared from his own guild member. Eventually Jack decided to sheath himself in black flames, effectively keeping the cat man off him if not away. "Works well enough..."

Lucas was thankful that Amaya go out in time, he stopped propelling towards her as she was clearly taking care of herself, although her attacks seemed to be getting... slower and weaker. This heat must be getting to her... We need to finish this off quickly. Their opponent was a 'S Class' wizard, something not to be taken lightly. After Nolan, Fleo and Amaya had all attacked, it became clear to Lucas, Their from the same guild, but I doubt they'h even worked together before. Nolan canceled any effect Amaya put on Bert, something Fleo could have capitalized on. Lucas had an idea. Bert was right, they aren't working together to take him down. Lucas shot forward, landing next to the ash mage. "Nolan. I don't know very much about you, but you're strong. Maybe the strongest here. Given time you ay be able to face him one on one, but we dont have time. Look at Amaya. The way she was around in that carriage. She's a dragon slayer. This heat is making her weak. Work with me on this next move, and we will turn this fight into our favor. I have an idea." Lucas held out fist, his eyes glowing yellow once again, waiting for Nolan to punch his fist back.
