Zenoram
Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
Interacting With: Gideon, Mithera

@soren@Burthstone

Zenoram couldn't help but marvel at the sight before him. Gideon put on quite the display even if it wasn't intentional. "Wow." He said, his eyes large in wonder and amazement. "That... That was amazing Gideon!" He exclaimed, a positively giddy look upon his face. "How did?! And then! But why?!" He just couldn't believe the sight before his eyes. And then the sword became a girl. She spoke about them having a job to do and them getting a move on. Then she was gone. Just like that. "Um... Kay..." He spoke before Gideon spoke again. They had to go to Jarvis first. That's right. He was the guildmaster. They had to let him know if they were going.

"Right Gideon." He said just before Gideon said something about him backing out now if he wanted to. It was apparently his last chance. He laughed a bit. "Don't worry. I'm going." He said with a calm smile. "Besides, Master Jarvis said you couldn't go alone before didn't he?" He asked calmly remembering since Jarvis had called out over the crowd. It was a bit hard to miss after all. "We'll handle this together. And I'll do my best to help." With that he began walking back in and straight towards Jarvis. "I think you can count on Mithera to." He said cheerfully.

Karn
Fiore || Hargeon Town || Harbor >>> Arikalia Estate >>> Train Station

Everything was quiet and peaceful, it was nice. It felt warm and safe, like it was back when he was with Ru. He could remember it now. How he'd always curl up against the large beast as a human or as a cat. Enjoying being bundled up against the warm fur, tail wrapped around him protectively to keep him safe and warm even in the thickest of blizzards. It was a time he didn't feel alone, when he wasn't afraid, when he didn't worry about his fate to die. Where he had a family. Master Rian, Ru, and Claire. Together and happy. There was no strange buildings, no people, no laws, no injustice, no worries of the past, just them. Living happily together.

Yet, when his emerald eyes opened, he found a clear blue empty sky, his sweeter memories disappearing from his vision. Leaving only harsh reality. Blinking slowly, he found the bundle of large fur that belonged to Ru, resting on top of him, covering him entirely except the head. The empty skull resting beside the blonde's on the sandy beach. Karn didn't wished to move away from the warmth, but slowly he sat up to examine his surroundings.

What had happened? He had gotten mad.... and destroyed the ship. Falling into the water and passing out. He thought for sure he would have died, and joined his mother in the sea. Yet it did not seem to happen. Had Ru protected him from drowning? No, he was gone. Nothing left in life other then his skin. Perhaps he had just gotten lucky once more, or had gotten so afraid he lost his mind to save himself. He didn't feel that tired though. Sure, the effects of using Eastern Chimera magic was still there, his frail body having difficulties handling it. But it wasn't so bad. Maybe then, Ru's spirit was still watching over him, protecting him.

Reality sunk in as he looked to the fur, gingerly holding the massive hollowed skull. Feeling tears well up in his emerald eyes, dripping down his cheeks and falling upon the fallen beast's muzzle. "Why? Why did you leave? Why did you and Rian leave me? I... I thought I would see you again and we could... be together again... Why? Why did you die and leave me all alone again? I.... I'm so lonely.... please... I'm so lost.... I don't know what to do anymore. Everyone at the Guild is so friendly and nice but... I don't think I fit in so well... but you always were there for me. You knew me. You were like my real father... I wish you were. Don't leave me alone......" Karn spoke through choking sobs, allowing himself to simply cry there on the beach. Holding the skin of his father close to his shivering body.

No one was there for him to put on a smile, to assure he was okay and pretend he was strong. For now... he could just cry. And when he returned, he'd be okay for everyone. It will be alright. He had to be strong, he had to. Otherwise he was a disappointment. A failure to everyone.

Sitting there, bundled in Ru's fur like a kitten attempting to cuddle up against its mother, Karn stayed their and sobbed into the warm fur. It was cold though, compared how it was when he was alive.

Karn didn't know how long he stayed there. It could of been seconds, minutes, hours.... he didn't know. All he knew was that his heart ached and his eyes throbbed and burned from the amount of crying he did. All the way until he ran out of tears in his body. No matter how much he searched and yearned for comfort, Ru wasn't able to grant that anymore. Slowly, Karn struggled to his feet, heaving the huge pile of fur in his arms before he started walking. It was way bigger than him, but he struggled to keep it from touching the ground as he walked along.

What was he to do? The job was to return Arikalia's rare item. But that rare item was the skin of his adoptive father. How could he just give it away like some sort of trophy? Would the Guild be disappointed in him if he failed the job? It seems his job record hasn't been so well at this rate. Yet, he had to confront his family. Not as Maddox, if he was going to question them and take Ru's fur... then he had to do it himself. Just in case something bad happened. Karn was technically, stealing a item by law at least. It wasn't like fighting for people though, people would just think that this is just over a beast. Not over human lives possibly in danger like those in the Council. Or Wes in another world. No... people.. wouldn't think twice on this. Just because Ru was considered just a mindless beast. So if he was arrested for this, so be it.

Reaching back to the mansion, Karn took slow strides toward the front doors. Feeling his heart pound with each step he took, Karn took a deep breath, rubbing his reddened eyes as he attempted to seem a bit more confident. Pounding his fist against the door, the loud bang causing the blonde to jump a little as he realized how hard he hit it. It was a accident, he didn't mean to use that much strength in it. Yet it got the job done as the butler from before opened the door before looking surprise as he had to look down a little to see the face of the blonde before looking to the fur.

"Ah, are you from another Guild young lady? Seems you got the job done quicker then supposedly the great Blink. Oh well, as those say... you snooze, you lose. Now please hand me the fur and I shall pay..." The butler started before jumping as a fist slammed sideways against the door on the left.

Karn's emerald eyes glared up at the butler at his words, a soft instinctive growl emerging from his throat. "Where is Erik?" the blonde said slowly, his fist sparking with a few golden flames, causing the butler to shiver and back away a little. In which Karn slowly strided inside, feeling the hair stand on the back of his neck as old familiar scents entered his nose.

Soon enough, a voice called out, seeming to be surprised. "Maria? Maria is that you?" A older man said with short auburn colored hair and a neatly cut beard and wearing a brown suit. His blue eyes staring in utter shock at the sight of the blonde before him. Shakily walking closer, the older man tried reaching out.

Tensing as his eyes widened at the sight of the hand. Memories flashing in his mind on how a outstretched hand clasped around his throat and shoved him beneath water so many times. Causing him to flinch back in fear and taking a step back. The man looked confused before a younger man came forth, looking similar to the older man but was younger and only had a light stubble of a beard on his chin. The young man was bigger and muscular, wearing a beige suit. Broad shoulders, and thick muscles.

The opposite of Karn.

Erik Arikalia looked just as shocked as their father, but his blue eyes soon calmed. Seeming to just stare through his younger brother, just like they always did. As Erik seemed to reach out for the fur, Karn snarled and took another step back.

"Where did you get this?" Karn asked slowly, trying to stay calm, but his brother only blinked slowly. Not talking to him, not answering, just... like he wasn't even there.

"It can't be... you're dead.... I.... You're a ghost." Erik's father spoke up as he stared at Karn in utter terror before he quickly turned to the butler and pointed to Karn.

"G-Get this monster out of here!" The older auburn haired man ordered.

As the butler approached the blonde, Karn growled before transforming in his Chimera form. Causing those around him to gasp and take a step back as a massive beast took the place of the small blonde. Growling to the butler, he flicked his tail lightly against him and knocking him on his ass before charging. Slamming his paws against his biological father's and older brother's chest. Pinning them to the ground with a snarl and giving a frightening roar. His father screamed bloody murder in utter terror, but Erik just looked mildly shocked, that blank uncaring stare remaining the same, despite how they both attempted to struggle out of his grip.

"I am not Maria, I am not my mother. I am your son, your brother. Whether you like it or not I am blood related to this family and I'm not dead yet. Now answer me. Where did you get this fur?" Karn snarled, baring his fangs at them.

Erik said nothing, but his father struggled to answer. "A-A-A.... S-S-Someone s-s-sold it to us! W-we don't know who but it was a good buy!" he managed to stutter out.

Narrowing his golden eyes, the beast searched for any lies but sensed none so he got up and stormed out, tail lashing from side to side. Ear flicking a little as he heard the butler call after him. "If you take our property, we will be sure to notify the authority for thievery." the butler said.

Karn paused, but only to glare back at them. "Go ahead. But I refuse to give Ru to you." he growled before started off running. Bounding through the town at a rapid speed. Slowing to the train station, knowing he couldn't carry this heavy fur by flight.

Sighing, he ignored the people who stared at the massive beast before gasping as he reverted to his human form. Struggling to carry the skin, he went and bought a ticket before getting on the train heading to Magnolia.

Prince
Fiore || River Town

@Oblivion666@Caits

At Zephyr's excited suggestion, Prince chuckled in amusement. The man was always quite excitable but he was fun to be around. They were quite like kindred spirits in a way. Out to have a little fun. "Mhmm well that magic doesn't change magical power so... yes, you would have the most powerful machine duck probably." the feline chuckled before blinking as a spirit popped up, in which he had to tilt his side in mild surprise as he recognized the figure and the scent of magic.

"Ariel? Geez, just keep bumping into Phoenix Wingers. Never stay out of trouble." he mused with a chuckle, deciding not to really question it before he looked to Zephyr at his suggestion of where the village leader could be.

Humming, the feline shrugged and grinned. "Well, it sure doesn't hurt to try it out." Prince said as he grinned toward Michael before he started walking through the village, giving a wave without looking behind him.

"Whenever you all are ready and done with magical contracts, feel free to follow before I get jumped by either beautiful women or bandits. Hopefully the first." He called jokenly as he softly laughed.

Mithera -- Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
Mithera glanced up at Zenoram. "Of course you can count on me!" She would jump from Gideon's shoulder and glide onto Zenoram's before clambering to the top of his head, peering down at Gideon. "I can be the Mascot!" She thought on that phrase for a moment before leaning down again to take up Zenoram's view. "Hey, since Karn can turn into, erm, your dad now. You me and him should make a team and give a title like... Team Dragonfly! Ooo, that sounds nice, doesn't it?" Her tail would lift into the air and wave about a little bit as she suggested it, excited about the idea of being on a team about dragons. After thinking over her suggestion for a moment Mithera would sit upright on Zenoram's head, thinking the whole idea over entirely, and wondering if there were any other mages with dragon-related abilities.

Gideon laughed at them both and looked puzzled as to why Mithera might be talking about an all dragon power team. Shrugging it off Gideon ran over to Master Jarvis. "Alright sir I have my team for this job. Mithera and Zenoram will be joining me on this! As well as a new spirit I guess." He was ready to get going and was hoping to get a move on as soon as Jarvis gave them the ok.

Damian Gerard|Mount Hakobe

Damian watched as Penny headed down to the ground ahead of him and smiled. He never got to do the cool dismounts that he did during his solo training for anyone, so he decided he was going to do one right now as he swept low to the ground. He counted, just like he did when training back in Magnolia and, about ten yards from Penny, back flips into the air, twisting and spinning several times, before landing at a kneel as the Striker Blade disappears a little ways past Penny. Despite it all, he had a goofy grin on his face as he stood and walked over to Penny.

"I know, I know, that was a bit of a showboat. But I've never done it in front of someone before and I figured now was a good chance. Will I dismount the thing like that in combat? Maybe, since all the twisting and spinning does make you harder to hit. Anyways," he grinned again and gestured at both Mount Hakobe and the surrounding mountains, "you ready to get to training?"

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

James watched the familiar take form and, despite the boyish appearance, could tell she was female. However, her asking him to choose a name made him wonder how long she'd been a familiar. Still, he thought for a moment before smiling. "How about Artemis? It seems to fit you well."

Ammy Silver|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Ammy blushed slightly at Shujin's compliment but nodded. "I have been told I'm the most intimidating woman most men have ever met and that they don't always feel comfortable with me. As for Jake, I'm sure he's on the reserve, but I do make him do a lot of the work for representing the guild, so maybe he wants me to do it this time." She had no idea what her fellow S-Class wizard's feelings towards her were and she wasn't going to go prying just to satisfy a curious guild mate. Shujin could do that himself.

Hunter Jorgenson|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Hunter shook his head and smiled fiercely. "There isn't another wizard out there I can't handle, even another Dragon Slayer. You can sure as hell bet I won't loose." Hunter couldn't wait to see what the competition was going to be like from the other guilds and was already planning how he would beat any of his opponents. Then it occurred to him that he could end up facing off with Phoenix Wing's S-Class wizards and grinned. Now THAT would be awesome. Maybe a fight I'd loose, but awesome.

Jake Ronan|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Jake chuckled as Zev became very sober again very quickly and shook his head. "Nah, Master Jack refused to let me sit completely out, so I'm on the reserve team. I'm not too worried though, some of our strongest fighters are already going, so the only way we loose is if they field someone stronger and that's gonna be hard to do."

michael
@T2wave@silver fox@oblivion666

"Oh!"Michael said with a laugh, at his own forgetfulness "I just have to know when I can summon you, and if there are any conditions, and then, well...you need a name." The spirit must be quite a new one, if they didn't have a name. "Well, I'm sure we can come up with a name, once I see what you look like. Unless you're happy with Cloud!" He gave another laugh, giddy to have another spirit to work with. He smiled at the spirit, waiting for an answer Flicking a glance at the other two, wondering if they were annoyed that he was holding them up.

At Prince's comment, Michael gave a frown. Phoenix Tail wizard? Ariel? A wizard couldn't be a spirit. He looked back to the spirit, blinking, "uh, well. Um. So when can I summon you?"

He gave a nod and a wave to Prince, assuring him that when he had finished here he would catch up, as he waited.

Penny
@zarkun

Penny watched Damian's performance, with a smile. She knew that it gave them glances from people going about their business, but she didn't care. They were well known in anycase, so people would stare anyway. "you ruined it with the grin, but it was still a cool landing" she said with amusement, glancing to the mountain, "let's go" she said, eager to train. She checked her pack, and her clothes, making sure either hadn't been dislodged during her flight, and with a casualness that surprised even her, took Damian's hand in herseld, starting to walk.

She assumed they'd find somewhere to stay later, but Penny didn't care if they camped out. She liked the outdoors, and if there was snow, she always had her flames to keep them warm, so long as there was wood. And she was sure there were caves besides.

sasha
@yipeeXD

Sasha nodded at Lazarus, and was ready as he Attacked, muttering to herself "ice make: bear shield" she poured magic into it, creating it large, and quite solid, so that when the attavk landed, the bear imitated a roar, barely damaged. Suspecting another attack, Sasha kept the bear shield there, and then summoned her butterfly cage, around her, several layers over it, protecting her from all sides, watching Lazarus, studying him. Perhaps working and training with someone she knew well wouldn't give her the training she needed, but for now, she merely wanted to strength her magic.

"is that all you've gor?" she said cheekily

Jarvis
@j8cob

As Maddox room a job, Jarvis nodded "be careful. Dark guilds are around, so you may wish to take someone else with you, just in case. I really don't want to have anyone injuried" and then Gideon came over, all excited and happy about the job and teaming up, and Jarvis nodded "alright then, just be careful."

Artemis - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
"Artemis..." She seemed to think it over for a bit before nodding. "I like that name. From now on you may call me Artemis." There was a light smile that quickly faded. It occurred to her that, now that she had a form she wasn't sure what to do. Or as a Familiar what exactly her job was. She stopped looking around and glanced at James. "You may need to explain to me what exactly a Familiar does. I've only existed for, like, ten minutes."
@Zarkun

To Michael's question of when she could be summoned and perhaps any conditions she rolled around some ideas in her head. She was probably more used to this world that the spirit one so that didn't really make much of a difference. "I guess you can summon me whenever you want. Except when mother needs my help. Then I will go to her." To the name Cloud she chuckled a little bit. That would be a silly name. "Let me see if there is a form I can take. Mythical right?" It was not a rhetorical question than anything and she leaned her head back.

Briefly she contacted the Celestial Spirit world. There had to be something that wasn't yet represented. Rather than she finding it though it found her. Gasping at the sudden rush of magic stripes of cloth burst up from the ground and began to wrap around the clouded figure. Effectively mummified for thirty seconds her form filled out to fit the wraps. Upon completion the cloth retracted away to her back, vanishing into her body. The spirit had taken the form of a Egyptian Jackal god not unlike Anubis. Some might find her new appearance somewhat intimidating. Dark skinned her arms and legs were furred with hands more like clawed paws. Having Straight black hair down to her shoulders pointed dog ears were now adorned on her head. Perhaps the most striking feature of her face was the golden glowing eyes that seemed to look through you. Being a Celestial being must be nice because she had gone from a loosely formed cloud to a well toned woman in seconds.

@Caits

Ariel - Phoenix Backyard
As the last of the spirits seemed to leave her Ariel stopped floating and fell over on the ground. Her magical reserve was severely drained. She did however managed to pick herself up and get to her feet. What exactly happened she wasn't sure. Something was different but she couldn't quite place a finger on it. That didn't quite matter at the moment since she was wobbling ever so slightly as her legs did their best to hold her up. "Oooh, I feel sick." She leaned against the door jam of the back door and caught her breath. It seemed that Fleo and Trinity were training. For now the weakened mage would just watch.

Fleo Plector – Phoenix Backyard

Still advancing, Fleo heard Trinity call out her spell, and hypothesized that several arrows would be coming her way. The explosion of the first fire arrow against her bulwark left a dent, as well as several small chunks of fused dust that resembled quartz, but left the shield itself intact. Now sure of her plan of action, Fleo continued to push forward, until a slightly whistling noise alerted her too late. Though the stunning cold of the minstrel's ice arrows eluded Fleo, their effect remained, and out of nowhere she found her progress completely stymied. Looking down at her feet, she discovered them entrapped in ice. A quick solution immediately popped into her mind, one perhaps doable given that she was hidden behind her shield. At that moment, unfortunately, Trinity's barrage of fire arrows pounded the bulwark, trying its cohesion and strength. It wouldn't last her much longer.

With a shoving motion, Fleo pushed the shield Trinity's way. It glided along the ground toward her, rather quick but with no capability of changing trajectory. Taking a chance, Fleo severed the connection between her dust legs and her dust feet, allowing her to step out of the encumbering ice and immediately form new feet for use. Some of the bandages around her ankles tore slightly, but at this stage in the long con, it was practically instinct to manipulate her bandages to recover the exposed area in less than a second.

That obstacle dealt with, Fleo refocused on her opponent. Undoubtedly Trinity had dealt with the thrown shield by now, so a new defense was needed. “Dust Craft: Orbitals!” Miniature, more compacted shields form around Fleo in the air, six of them in fact, and began to orbit her. Relying on them to catch any arrows sent her way, via straight shot, trick shot, or whatever, Fleo slid forward on a Sirocco to finish closing the gap. “Dust Craft: Morning Star!” In the dusty woman's hand appeared a macelike weapon with a round head covered in nubs. While a typical morning star would have had metal spikes, it seemed that Fleo didn't want to hurt her guildmate.

If Angelo was paying attention, and had any knowledge of Fleo's abilities, he'd know that she was both playing mostly defensively and using the weakest variety of her spells by making her incantations in English.

Edith Riggs – the Frenzy Fort

Though the sight of Thor succumbing to her Avversario Adagio sparked a great joy in Edith, her happiness was short lived. Her newly-gained speed boost served her poorly against an attack like Shockwave, which covered the whole ground at once, despite the terrible conductivity of wooden floorboards. Edith almost tripped and fell flat on her face when the Shockwave surged through her ankles, flaring a sudden pain. “Agh!” Just as quickly, however, the pain died away, courtesy of Thor's self-control. Another chord was on Edith's lips as Thor's Lightning Ball impacted her, jolting electricity through her torso. Unprepared for such a blow, the girl staggered.

When it came to attack power or defending herself, Edith knew she was beat, but sustain was her strong suit. From the get-go, it had been her plan to try and afflict her opponent with status effects while boosting herself, and to let Thor exhaust herself, or at least open herself up for Edith's few offensive chords. Cautiously deciding it was time to recover, she straightened up and sang, “Stesso Guarire!” The notes she played sounded out a reinvigorating tune, and it washed away Edith's hurt and fatigue to let her face Thor with a renewed smile. “Nothing like a good heal, right? Try this on for size: Vivace con Fuoco!” A strumm of Edith's lure sent a lively but searing red-hot wave at Thor.

Nero – Train Station near Iron Enigma

It never ceased to fascinate Nero how Ayame reacted to various things. Her spirit, though unlike that of most children, shone large and lively. More than before, he pondered whether or not the girl had magic; he had always assumed so, since wizards tended to associate with wizards and normals with normals, but even at Iron Enigma the young one hadn't shown any trace of her abilities. And maybe if I do a swell job of looking out for her, she never will have to.

“Well, we're bound for Dragon Fang in Shirotsume next. That's a couple of hours by train, so we'll have plenty of time to figure out how the hex we're gonna deal with the cat moron.” Though nearly closed, his eyes twinkled. “Get it? Hex? Because a hex is a type of mag...ah, I forgot to never explain my jokes. Jokes are a kind of magic too, you know; depending on how well you cast them, you can make people think the world of you or hate you forever.” Looking at Ayame now, Nero was almost startled to see the utterly wonderful expression on her face. Perhaps he wasn't the biggest smiler on Fiore after all!

When faced with Ayame's following question, however, Nero couldn't help but feel confused. “We're here...to take the train? Yeah, that's definitely it. Er, after that, I dunno. I went to Frenzy Plant before going to Phoenix Wing. With FP, PW, IE, and DF out of the way, I'm not sure who else is participating.”

Not long after, the dynamic duo were seating on the train, and with a thundering whistle it began to move. Nero grinned at Ayame as the vehicle picked up speed. “Is it everything you dreamed of?”

Zephyr
River Town

With Prince pretty much telling him that his idea would probably work out, he pumped his fist a bit in complete happiness. "Awesome! The pranks we can pull off with this would be immense!" Zephyr said already wanting to use the idea for joke purposes. Zephyr then stared at Mikey who was chatting away with the spirit, Prince decided to give Zeph's idea a go. Mikey then waved at the two with a nod to tell them he would catch up later. So Zephyr gave him a thumbs up and as he started to walk away saw the spirit take form. "Huh... didn't see that coming." Zephyr said before shrugging and chased after Prince.

As he did catch up he looked up at him squinting his eyes. "You know I've always wondered something.... Are you naturally that tall or are cat people just big in general? Like I'm six feet tall and that's as big as Im getting. Also..... can you lean down." Zephyr said, but with the last part he had a more sinister smile. One that just shouted he was up to something, however it was certainly not going to be evil that much could be assured.

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

James stopped a moment to think about how best to answer Artemis's question. What did a Paladin's Familiar do? Well, according to the texts that he'd been reading, some only appeared when their Paladin was in a battle, others hung around whether there was a battle or not and yet others were incredibly fickle, appearing whenever they wished and disappearing at the most inconvenient times, such as in the middle of an important battle. So, with that in mind, James answered. "Well Artemis, that is up to you. You can only appear during times of battle and conflict, you can appear and leave whenever you want, or you can hang around all the time. I am alright with with whatever you choose."

While he waited for Artemis to reply, he got a glass of soda and took a sip, already moving on to the next spell he had in mind. It was an attack power boosting spell called Might of the Almighty, and it gave a massive boost to an ally's attack based spells at the cost of making their defense much weaker than normal. Of course, there was likely a spell that worked conversely of that, but he hadn't found it yet.

Damian Gerard|Mount Hakobe

Damian let Penny take his hand and lead him further up the mountain, taking the time to clear his head of the memories the place had for him from the recent past. Somewhere on this mountain rested the blade he'd used to mark where Hemlock had died, vanishing before the group in a bright white flash of light. I intend to make good on my promise to you Hemlock, but first I need to get stronger and faster, so we don't risk a repeat of before. Shaking his head, Damian smiles as he looks at Penny. He didn't need to worry, he had a hell of an influence for staying true to his promises now.

After about an hour of walking, Damian stopped Penny and set his pack and Durandal to one side, summoning his Ares Blades and sliding into a ready stance. "OK, here's a good spot to start for the day. You wanna go first or should I?"

Zenoram
Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
Interacting With: Gideon, Mithera

@soren@Burthstone

"Haha yeah, Mithera is what I'd call a perfect mascot in this form." Zenoram laughed a bit as he glanced upward to try and get a look at Mithera who continued to speak. Soon he didn't need to as she was back in his line of vision. Her idea and everything was pretty amusing on paper, but... He wasn't sure he liked the idea of Karn turning into Hemlock. And he wasn't sure Zero would like it much either. But he didn't wanna ruin Mithera's idea or good mood. "That would be so fun." He finally responded with a small smile. "Maybe... Hmmm... She would be a good addition." He said thinking immediately of Amaya. Though he hadn't spoken to her since before he and Zero left to go on the job with the others. He hadn't even gotten to ask Hemlock about her mother. Not that he thought Hemlock would know. He hadn't even gone to visit her or speak to her in a while.

He stopped though, pulled back from his thoughts when he saw the puzzled look on Gideon's face. That's right. he didn't know about Zero, or Zero's dragon slayer abilities. Well, it could be a nice surprise for later if Zero showed up. Or a completely baffling surprise. Maybe Gideon might even freak out. That could be funny or terrible depending on how things played out. Looks like some of Zero's mischievous ways have rubbed off on me. Though it was considerably less aggressive and angry. Which was good for Zenoram.

Soon Gideon had gotten the okay from Master Jarvis. "Welp, I guess it's about time for us to be on our way huh?" He said with a cheerful almost excited smile. It was his first time really going out since two weeks ago. He was ready. So ready he had just about forgotten about his motion sickness. The one thing he and Zero shared regardless of their separations. Surely it couldn't be as bad as before right? Still, he was walking again, leading Gideon who he assumed was following further towards the exit.

Lazarus

He sighed. She had gotten stronger since he had tested her last. Come to think of it, they hadn't spared in a very long time. "Fine. I'll show you what I've been working on." He grinned, making a little noise as he formed his wings, flying upwards. "You know... defensive magic is great... except it has draw backs... it takes up a lot of your focus..." The ground little up with light around Sasha and magic rings formed which he had drawn. "3 layered magic, tower of judgement." The column of light energy and air blasted downwards, bombarding its area with air. He flew upwards above the column, gathering light around him. "Below of the light god!" He boomed the same beam of light energy as before down into the tower of judgement column. Light magic crossed with light god slaying magic was a good combo, so the magic fused, attacking with the power of both. The descended as the dust started to settle around Sasha. He rubbed the back of his head looking at all of the dust which had been kicked up.'Jeez... Maybe I went a little overboard.'

Shujin

He folded his arms. "You dont intimidate me Ammy. I see the real woman in you, not the fighter." He chuckled. "It's good that Jake is on the reserve team. That means if one of use gets knocked out, we get replaced by someone strong." He grinned. "I like it." he overheard hunter getting pumped up. "Hunter... if we fight together... and we come up against the phoenix wing light god slayer... he's mine... you got that?" He glared at him, before rolling his eyes. "Besides... there are 2 god slayers among there ranks. Dragon slaying magic has it's limitations when coming up against the gods you know..."

Thor

Frenzy Fort

Edith

Thor had landed both their attacks on the girl who took it pretty heavy from the looks of it. However the girl was still in the race. It didn't look like she had much offense nor defense but one thing she did have was fighting spirit. She smirked a little but was quite suprised that what had just happened. Healing magic. The girl just healed herself from her own magic. Thor had to reconsider the plan again. This healing magic could be a real pain when it can be used a lot so the best thing to do would be to try hitting the girl large attacks and putting her down or not giving her any apace to work with. If she could land her lethal close hit she would likely win in one go however with this annoying slow buff on Thor, Thor didn't have a option to do so. So Thor had to improvise.

The thinking time Thor took resulted in anoyher attack for the other mage. The girl sended a heat attack towards Thor. It was hard to dodge but she had something reliable as backup. Thor placed their hands in front of them and softly talked again "Force Field" a few sparks of lightning went sparking in front of her as a transparent shield came into view. The shield was just barely big enough to defend atleast the upperhalf of her body. Thor gritted their teeth as the heat attack went over their legs. Thor's legs felt burning hot but there was no timr to think about that. Thor manned up and talked again "Lightning Body." The sparks flew around her body before completly covering her whole body in one go. It didn't help much qua speed but it was something. Thor walked over to the girl at a pretty average speed and tried to shoot her once more with a lightning ball to immobilies her for a short period of time "Lightning Ball." If all the attacks had hit up till now Thor could slowly walk over to her. When Thor got closer to the girl Thor put both their hands near the girl her chest "Electrocution." If the attack indeed hit the place around them would light up a few times before she released the girl her body from the immense torture.

Ayame

Train Station -> Train

Nero

Ayame resumed admiring the big train as she kept switching gazes between the small toy train and the bigger version of it to see what was the same and what not. Everything looked resembled the only thing that was diffrent was that the train itself looked more alive and prettier. Ayame slowly walked along sides the train near the edge of the platform and ran her hand across it leaving dark whipes all over her hand. She looked down the shaft between the train and the platform but was taken off guard by Nero his talking. As shivers went down her spine a disgusted face was trown at Nero again "What does that cat man have to do there." She pouted and started talking in a annoyed voice "I don't wanna see him again. He is way to touchy!" She folded her hands over each other and looked away just like a small child who didn't get what she wanted.

However when she was still off guard she suddenly felt rather startled by the smoke puffing out of the train. And to even think it was puffing out right in her face. She stammered back further onto the platform and coughed a few times before regaining her composer, blushed a little at Nero watching her and cleared her troat to conitnue like nothing happened "Maybe you can use your curses to remove his touchiness, maybe he'll become bareable then." She softly talked for getting him on ideas even though she was so against pestering other people thay was the one person she wouldn't mind "Most people don't like jokes about suddenly turning into a penguin." She lightly giggled and hopped over to him "But other people think they are rather funny when it doesn't happen to them." She blushed a little having said that and thought back about it. At first she didn't look that trilled with the penguin guy but now looking back at it, it was rather funny. Maybe she was changing a little bit with her behaviour. They say children learn from others to behave diffrent then theg are used too. Ayame jumped a little hearing the good news from Nero "W-what we're gonna actually ride it!" She grabbed Nero his hand and pulled him along over to the train "What are we waiting for then!" She tried to get him walk over with all her might but that wouldn't even let the man flinch probably.

After a few moments of staying outside she got up into the steam train and got lead around by following Nero around the train. As she trailed behind him her attention was completly gone from Nero. She stared around her with quite a big smile on her face and tried to catch all the interior to be able to think about it later again. They both moved over to their seats with Ayame still holding her train toy tightly on her lap. She was still dazed by it and already felt the train moving a little. The nerves got up to her as the train was making all kind of noices and whisteling. After they got up to speed just a little bit more Ayame was blankly staring in front of her. She was silent for a while and suddenly exploded "N-nero it-it is going so fast." She pressed her face against the glass and even opened the window. She dropped the train toy on the chair and poked her whole upper body out of the window. She was brightly laughing and went inside again. After a few more moments she was a tad more quiet. Ayame slowly turned her head to Nero with both her arms wrapped around her own belly "Nero..., I don't feel so good." She quickly placed a hand in front of her mouth as she almost was about to puke. The train ride went on as she sat next to Nero.

Michael
@t2wave

Michael made a note of that, glad it was easy. Some spirits, you could only summon on certain days, at certain hours. With Uriel and Balthazar, no one else could have contracts with them, and so, all Michael had had to do was earn the contract. Uriel had been easy. Balthazar...not so much. He watched as the Spirit took form, eager, wided eyed. He had never actually seen a spirit take form, like this. Most of the spirits he used, had already been around for a while. this seemed to be a relatively knew spirit. He smiled unafraid of the spirit.

He smiled, and then appeared thoughtful. "Just a name then, so I know what to call you when I summon you" he was thoughtful for a few moments, wanting to try and come up with a good name, a name the spirit would like, and a name that matched his mythical theme. "How about Wadjet? Or Kebechet?" While he didn't know the spirit, nor what she was capable off, he did know a lot about mythology. And Wadjet was a goddess of protection, Kebechet a goddess of purification. Both seemed like nice names, but having never named a spirit, Michael was unsure. ?Of course, we could just go with the obvious Jackal, but that...seems a bit...bland" He didn't want to offend the spirit, nor get off on the wrong foot.

His friends forgotten for now, Michael waited to see what the spirit would say.

Sasha just smiled, as she watched Lazarus. She wasn't afraid of his magic, nor afraid of getting seriously hurt. As he spoke, Sasha shifted slightly, and above her, formed her ice dragon, lifting it's head up, it shot the rocks into the sky, instead of just dropping the like a rock slide, and as Lazarus's light god attack came, Sasha was already taking an effect to counter it. "Ice Make: Ice Queen" The crystalline ice structure formed over her, covering her entire body once more, transforming her into the Ice Queen seen a few weeks ago. Some of the ice shattered upon impact of Lazarus's attack, and Sasha was left panting, her bear destroyed, her butterflies scattered, but she used the dust to her advantage, forgetting that she was just defending for now, "ice make: Snake stairs!" The stairs formed, the snake flicking out its tongue, as she ran up the stairs, panting, covered in dust, sticking to her ice armor.

She ran, and when she saw Lazarus, she leaped, tumbling through the air, her training the last few weeks, indeed since their return to edolas, had been more acrobatic's focused, as she sought to not rely on her magic so much. She lightly touched Lazarus, not wanting to throw him out the air, and then "Ice make: Hawk arrow" the hawk formed beneath her, and shot towards the ground, away from any counter attack. It landed with a shatter of ice, and Sasha stood, the ice queen completely destroyed now.

Penny
{@zarkun]

Penny dropped her pack, out of the way, so neither of them would accidentally trip over it, She knew that this would probably be intense, but Penny had never fought any of the guild mates, having come too late for the S class exams, and then the second set of Exams had merely been decided by Damian on Master Jamie's orders. And there really hadn't been much time since then to spar with guild mates. So it should be interesting.

Penny readied herself, fiery whips forming without a word from her, knowing she would need to practice the Phoenix Slayer magic by herself, and that even if she could create a fiery sword, she was no where near skilled enough to use it. Whips however, you didn't really need to be skilled in. But Luckily, Penny could use the whip quite well.

They didn't burn her as she wrapped them around her wrists, and gripped with her hands, and she was sure they wouldn't burn Damian either, just hurt like anything would if it impacted and landed on you. "You go first"

Karn
Fiore || Hargeon Town >>> Magnolia || Train Station >>> Karn's Home >>> Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

Karn sighed as he felt the train start moving, his emerald eyes fluttering close as he held the let himself be utterly covered by the large fur. Flopping against the train and leaning against the window. His head hurt, his heart hurt, and his stomach hurt. He was probably still bleeding. Maybe he could have Jarvis patch him up a little when he got back. Wonder what he would say? That he completely refused to do the job and instead took the item stolen? Still... first he had to get home. Time passed by quickly as it wasn't long before he reached his destination.

Mumbling, the blonde slowly stood, heaving the large bundle fur on to his back before started off the train, transforming into his Chimera form in order to make the trip easier. Soon enough, he was bounding through the city, people quickly getting out of the transformation wizard's way as he sped through and headed directly to the forest. Smoothly weaving through trees and bounding over obstacles, it didn't take long Karn to reach his home. Transforming back into human, he opened the hidden door on the ground and lifted it before climbing down the steps. Clapping his hands together, the magical lanterns instantly lit up, lighting up the underground home. It's gotten more things now that Zero and Zenoram came to live here, feels a bit more homey really.

Going to his room, he gently set Ru's skin on his bear fur bedding. For a moment, Karn sat down and started to gently stroke the head of the Eastern Chimera beast, running his fingers along the black horns and through the thick mane. Feeling tears well up in his emerald eyes, he quickly rubbed them with the back of his hand. Trying to rid them, but when he opened his eyes, he let out a squeal in surprise. Seeing a small brown colored creature with wide emerald green eyes. It was about the size of a cat and had a scale underbelly but was furry everywhere else, besides the dragon like wings it had. It looked like a smaller version of Ru almost, except it had more dragon features. Wearing a odd looking silver necklace vest thing with a red gem in the center.

It sat there on top of Ru's fur, staring up at Karn who couldn't help but return it. Obviously confused where this cute little creature came from. He hadn't sensed anyone here, it was like it appeared in thin air. Still, the blonde gave a smile and reached his left hand out and gingerly stroked the top of the creature's head. It made a cooing sound, rubbing its tiny head against the hand. "Where did you come from cute little guy?" he chuckled before blinking as the creature let out a cute little squeak like mew before bounding across the room.

Karn blinked before standing and walking closer, chuckling, thinking the creature was playing. "Now where do you think your.... AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" he let out a scream as the ground from underneath him suddenly collapsed when he reached the little creature. Causing him to fall through and go tumbling further underground. Landing with a loud thud on his back, Karn let out a groan as he sat up and rubbed his aching head.

"Ow. That hurt a bit. What's with that? I checked and everything seemed pretty stable." The blonde grumbled, blinking as he saw the creature on his lap. It gave another squeak before bounding away. Looking ahead, Karn blinked a little as he noticed not everything was quite dark down here. A soft light was emitting from what looked like a mirror that rested against the stone walls.

"What's that doing here?" Karn murmured in confusion as he stood up and walked toward it, sniffing at it curiously and cautiously. It smelled of magic, some quite... calming ethereal magic almost. How odd, weren't magic mirrors just a myth? Was he going to see who was the fairest in all the lands? Reaching his right hand gingerly, he tapped his fingers lightly tapped against the surface of the supposed glass. A almost drop of liquid could be heard as ripples lightly moved from where he touched. Like he had just touched water. It made him nervous at the realization, but something drew him closer.

It was then the small creature suddenly charged, jumping right into the mirror. But instead of crashing into it, the creature completely disappeared in it. The blonde blinked in surprise before simply staring at the mirror hesitantly, slowly reaching his right hand out and shoving it into the mirror. His hand disappeared and it felt light and feathery but warm. Removing his hand from the mirror, he gingerly rubbed it as he thought for a moment. Should he go tell the Guild about this first before simply jumping ahead? Despite what some thoughts might have held him back, the blonde's curiosity just grew and it grew to excitement. Wondering what this mystery he found was and before long he found himself jumping through the mirror.

Opening his eyes, he gasped a little as a lush of green appeared before him, mountains circling around and a giant green leaf dragon shape plant hanging in the distance. Karn blinked as he walked foreword, turning a little to see the mirror seeming imbedded into pinkish purple petal covered tree behind him. Continuing to walk, he saw what looked like to be a large training arena just at the edge of the cliff. Pawmarks against the each post surrounding the arena. As large as Ru's. Walking to the edge of the cliff, he gazed around in awe. What was this place? It felt so... magical yet so familiar. His body felt lighter, like magical energy was just flowing into him.

For once, he didn't feel sick nor did he feel pain. It seemed this place seemed to be some sort of training ground, or something. He wasn't quite so sure. He then saw the little creature flying about, looking toward him before flying away

"Wait! What is this place? Karn called, but received no answer and he sighed as he thought for a moment before smiling. "I wonder... if Ru and Rian did this? It feels... like their magic. Maybe the others will know more about it. Maybe Zero will like training here as well." Karn smiled, feeling a little more confident, and maybe even a little comforted. Transforming into the little creature, he looked himself over before eagerly bounding back through the mirror and returning to his home.

Scurrying up through the hole, he looked to Ru's skin, bounding over and touching noses before bounding out of his room and climbing out of his home. Shutting the door before taking off into flight into the sky. It wasn't long until he flew into the Guild, flapping his wings to land on the bar counter. Before scanning the area with his emerald eyes.

Prince
Fiore || River Town

@Oblivion666

Prince glanced back at Michael as he continued conversing before looking down to Zephyr at the curious question. The feline simply smirked as he seemed to ponder for a answer before chuckling a little. "Well, supposedly, I'm short compared to the average height. I should be around perhaps ten feet tall. But I'm still growing so many I will hit that mark." he answered with mild amusement before his ears twitched at the command he could only laugh and comply. Slightly leaning down so the two of them were more face to face.

"Mhmm what? You want a kiss Zeph?" Prince grinned, putting in amusement.

@Silver Fox
He knew that he needed someone to train with and it should be with someone in the games as well...But maybe it wasn't worth it. It seemed like the only available mage at the moment that is participating in the games was Karn...The feminine man that had gave Nolan a panic attack a couple of weeks ago just from hugging him. At this point he had learned that Karn was indeed a man or so his guild mates claimed. "Okay Nolan you can do this. He's not a woman, he's a man, he's a man, he's a man, he's a man, he's a man." The God Slayer muttered to himself over and over again, pacing back and forth like some crazed lunatic. It was then he saw some strange dragon, cat creature fly down onto the bar counter. "Huh, what is that?" Nolan approached it and cautiously he scratched it behind the ears. "Where did you come from?"

@Zarkun@YipeeXD
ZEV

"Well I was going to tell you that Phoenix Wing has two God Slayers, but a certain someone had already beat me to the punch. Spoil sport." Zev chuckled and leaned forward on the counter, resting his arms on the wooden surface. "But I can tell you much more about them. For starters, the Light God Slayer's name is Lazarus Rex and utilizes Heavenly Angel Magic, quite fitting for a Light God Slayer. The other one's name is Nolan Waltz, an Ash God Slayer with a phobia of women and leader of the newly formed Team Powder Keg. It seems that he learned Swordsman Soul and another magic that utilizes souls to what extent I don't know. Both of them are A-Class mages so tread carefully." The man smiled at his allies with his casual grin. How he knew all of this information was probably beyond them, but then again when one was once the chief agent of Fiore's special ops on gathering intel and spying on enemy nations as well as being secretly the top information broker in the underworld it shouldn't be all that surprising that he should learn many things ahead of time. It was kind of eerie how he knew much more ahead of time.

The man chuckled and sipped a glass of water that the bartender slid over to him. "I figured that you would be in reserve Jake, but why not put you in the main team already? It would make a lot more sense than keep you in reserve."

Damian Gerard|Mount Hakobe

Damian grinned and rushed Penny head on, shifting at the last second to avoid her counter attack with her whips. As they grazed his right cheek, he lunged in with a series of rapid strikes in quick succession. First he struck high, then low, and then from the left and right. He attacked in a whirlwind, his strikes coming fast and in quick succession. He augmented a left hand strike with a Piercing Blade. He in return, however, had to dodge the whips and dodging something that could more like a snake to get you anyways was not an easy thing, and his blitz attack earned him several bruises and light burns.

Back flipping away from a series of whip strikes from Penny, Damian slid to a stop and kept one blade in a reverse hand grip behind him and the other in a normal grip in front of him. "You know, I forgot that I've never asked what kind of magic that is that you're using," he ducks a flurry of whip strikes and rolls to the side to avoid them again when they shift direction. "Because I don't recognize this as your normal magic."

Ammy Silver|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Ammy shook her head as Shujin yelled at Hunter about taking the Light God Slayer and returned to her duties, mulling over his words about seeing the real woman inside her. Then you don't know me all that well, Shujin. Magic is all I've ever known to be true...

Hunter Jorgenson|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Hunter's grin only grew at the mention of the God Slayers from Shujin and Zev. "Then I'll have to beat both God Slayers too! Shujin, if you wanna fight him, you'd better hope that the Game Planners want to see you fight Phoenix Wing's Light God Slayer then!" He listened closely to each one as they were described and grinned at the mention of Nolan's fear of women, looking Ammy's direction ever so briefly. "I know who'd be a perfect match off against him. Know anything else about their team?"

@zarkun

Penny's attention was all on the fight, on defending to the best of her abilities, she moved quite gracefully, due to her skill in dancing, and managed to avoid being sliced too badly, nevertheless she received numerous cuts and bruises herself, when she wasn't able to either dodge, or deflect the blows. His rapid strikes came more quickly then she would have known, and it took all her effort to maintain and be a good partner.

And then Damain asked about her magic. Penny forgot that Damian hadn't been there, when they had been fighting the Rider, the female Jack, and therefore hadn't been there to see her Phoenix Slayer magic. The whips fell to the ground in a stop, as she stopped her attack.

She took a moment to answer, because she actually had no idea how to explain it. How did you explain magic that hadn't been seen in years, let alone the mythical creature based around it? "it's just my fire transformation mahic, mixed with Phoenix Slayer magic" she said quite truthfully, her own cuts and bruises seemed to be faded, old as her magic stopped the bleeding and pain. She didn't even notice it. "I chose to use it, so it wouldn't burn you seriously. Phoenix Slayer magic works sloghtly different to fire magic, and it can basically be used against allies without serious injury"

She tried to explain it, but felt like she was doing a poor job. "I suppose it just gives me more options" she said

Phoenix Wing Yard

The shield stopped, though only for a moment, as Trinity's attacks found their targets. The shield vaulted at her, propelled from its source, and Trinity found herself with little other option than to dodge. She rolls to the side, drawing an ice arrow and unleashing it as she rolls to her feet, out of the bulwark's path. Her arrow careens past behind Fleo, and the archer is stunned to see that Fleo was already free of her trappings. Fast! But, no... The ice clumps were still intact, so Fleo couldn't have broken free. She didn't have much time to think, however. Fleo was already reforming her defenses and preparing a charge!

The archer's response is to leap away from her position yet again, firing another ice arrow at the place she'd been standing, leaving the ground frozen and slick. She counts six orbital shields around her sparring partner. That's a lot of shields to get through, if she couldn't confuse her opponent. Hmm. She could try making a smoke arrow, but Fleo could probably just control the dust from it anyway. Hmm... her attacks are dust...

Trinity twists to face toward Fleo as she lands, staggering back a bit as she draws a Wind Arrow. "Triple; Repeat!" She fires three volleys of three in quick succession. It didn't really matter if they hit her (she wants her to block, and two were even aimed at the leftover bulwark behind her), and they're just uncalled wind arrows anyway), she just hoped there was enough dust packed in those things to act as a smoke screen. To follow up, she dashes off to the side and draws an ice arrow and pulls it before duplicating it with a "Ice Double!" She doesn't wait to loose them, hoping to lock Fleo down long enough for her to stop and draw her newly combat ready Lightning Arrow. She draws and calls "homing!" before loosing it. A bolt of lightning fires from her bow, turning to home in on the nearest magical power that lay directly in front of her. So, Fleo, unless she moved.

Artemis - Phoenix Guild Hall
So she can choose when to come and go? James did make a good first impression with the summoning though. "Alright. I'll probably stay around most of the time. At least until I get a feel for everything. I'm not even an hour old yet." Stretching a bit she stepped out of the corner they were in to look around the guild hall. There were quite a few people mulling about. Many of them seemed to be busy getting ready for various jobs or trips. "Huh, thing place looks kind of familiar. Maybe mother's been here."
@Zarkun

Akila - River Town
Staring for a moment the newly formed spirit shook her head. "Neither of those. They sound too... familiar. Perhaps I should name myself." Lifting an arm she lightly tapped a claw against her chin. Her ears swiveled to one side, hearing the others moving away. Thinking she should get things wrapped up she stepped forward to Michael. Her key appeared in her hand, the head contained the Akh symbol. "I am Akila the Embalmer. I gladly accept our contract." Handing him the key she bows slightly.
@Caits

Having heard herself mentioned the sword appeared before changing back into her human form. "That would be me. I'd tell you my name but slowpoke here hasn't given me one." She playfully pokes Gideon in the arm along with the not so subtle hint. Having jested enough for the moment she glanced around to see all the activity. To be honest she had no idea what was going on right now. Slightly bored she lifted her arms and put them behind her head. The only one that caught her attention was Artemis that had just stepped into view. Somehow she knew this person, but how?
