Eve had been walking on the road for quite some time, her legs were sore, her clothes were covered in cracked mud with her face giving off the same impression. However, she was all smiles on the open road as the idea of bringing people happiness sounded good for her torn up heart. It had been only a few days since she had left her village as she felt she needed to bring some happiness to the world with her very own special magic. She giggled as she imagined what kind of crazy adventures her little village was having with her gone, her dad telling those wild stories while her mom would be baking something delicious! She missed them from the moment she had left the village, but it was for the sake of humanity that she should go out in the world and explore every nook and cranny for those sad people.

Eve was about a few miles ahead from her last thought about her parents until the aroma that she was so used to arrived in her nose, the smell of life was in the air and she needed to see what was happening. She jogged over to the side of the road to find a poor little dog rotting in some trench. Eve put her hands around her heart to find such a sad scene and the girl jumped down into the trench, landing right next to the corpse. Her eyes were watering, not from the stench of the corpse but from the sadness she felt in her heart at the dead dog, "Aw. Poor little puppy was abandoned. How could someone do this to you poor little puppy?" Eve gently grabbed the snout and with a burst of her magic, the dog slowly started to get up from the ground, the decayed legs trying to find balance while the entire body was trying to crack itself into position to stand once more. Eve clapped her hands to find that the dog was back to the world of the living and found a name for her new pet. "I think your name shall be Fluffy!" She exclaimed, petting the matted fur of the creature. "Ok..." She looked under the dog to determine the gender but the underside was too, disfigured, for even Eve to determine, "Fluffy, follow your new owner!" The corpse looked up at Eve with its glassy eyes and obeyed the order. Eve clapped her hands once again, "So much discipline! You and I are going to be great friends!"

Eve's new source of joy trotted along side her, she occasionally bent down to pet the head with the eyeball coming out here and there, but quickly put it back in while giggling. Her nights were spent in the small campfire as Fluffy laid beside her, not sleeping, but staring out into nothingness, waiting for another order. As another day passed, her excitement to find another town was growing as meeting another person has been on her mind for quite some time. She knew that the people she reanimated were normal people, but it was just that humans always had troubles that she could fix! Rather than her utopian village she had lived for an entire year. So, as she passed a sign saying that there was a town called Shirotsume just a couple miles ahead, she was ecstatic! Eve screamed in excitement and hastened her pace to finally find another village.

Eve was at the outskirts on Shirotsume and she was excited to meet other people and help them with her special magic, she looked at Fluffy noticed that the sun was starting to make the flesh boil and small pieces of meat sliding off of the body! She couldn't have that! Eve quickly tossed Fluffy an extra set of her clothes, covering most of the exposed fleshy bits before heading off into the town. Now, as she looked like a dirty hobo from both the smell and dirty clothing, people tended to avoided her. She smiled and waved at everyone, few waved back at Eve and fewer to respond back to her small inquiries. Eve noticed that people were trying to avoid her, and she smelled herself and found there was nothing unusual about her odor. Maybe it was something that she couldn't notice herself, she tried to walk up to people, but they looked sickened whenever she got near. Eve entered stores to figure out what was wrong and was promptly kicked out for some reason. Well, Eve wasn't discouraged by the rudeness of the town, that actually made her more determined to make this place better with her magic. However, she needed to figure out what was wrong with this inhospitable town.

Countless shops refused her and people continued to gag at the sight of her, "I don't know what is wrong with this town. Maybe they just don't like strangers?" She questioned to the covered Fluffy, but it did not respond back, only staring blankly at her. Eve sighed, she stopped at another building called the Dragon's Fang? Such a peculiar name for a building, but it sounded fun! Eve entered the guild, looking around before stepping further into the building, Fluffy silently following the girl several paces away. "Hello! Don't kick me out like the other stores, please! I just need to figure something out!" She yelled into the building, hoping someone would finally answer her questions rather than kicking her out in a rather rude manner.

Lazarus

He chuckled at her as she drank before being taken a back in shock, face clearly showing it. "Scary." He whined, taking the glass back. His jovial attitude had immaturely changed. "You can't have anymore. It's mine." He sipped away at it, enjoying every drop. After a whole he sat back in his chair and smiled. "This is nice."

Sasha smiled, "Ice wizard. Can water it down easily" She said with amusement, nodding in agreement. It was nice, and Sasha was glad to have a little time, to relax, and just...be happy. It had been pretty much non-stop since the ragged brotherhood incident. "It is. Its nice just to put everything aside, for a time"

Lazarus

He had finished the drink now, and he placed his hands behind his head, resting back. "When we the last time we weren't working? Or nothing was kicking off?" He thought. There was once a time where phoenix wing was so chilled out. He missed it. He sighed. "I'm starved." He called the waiter over, order his own food, before passing him onto Sasha. "I haven't eaten anything all day you know." He smiled sheepishly.

"Before the ragged brotherhood incident. Things just seemed to pick up, after that. More jobs, more dark guilds...It just escalated" Sasha said, musingly, ordering her food as well, "There are so many more wizards, which could mean more people are accepting magic, and accepting the fact we can do jobs for them. Its great" She smiled, "For which I'm glad. Even if it does keep us busy!" She laughed softly

Donna didnt even give Gideon a chance to say anything else as she took of with Cat. Gideon turned to see Zenoram's expression and what he could see off Mithera. Both of them looked more than displeased. This whole trip he never scene Zenoram act this way..plus his new magic..He would have to get Zenoram alone at some point and talk to him. Fate however seemed unfazed about Donna and her story or her just taking of. Gideon put on a happy face and nodded to Fate as she told them to come on. He and the others made it through the island, got back on the boat, and took the coach back to Donna's house. Gideon was starting to wonder if she did have some kind of teleportation magic or item that allowed her to do so. Strange how she got to the island like she did and running off. He hoped as he climbed out off the coach that Donna and Cat would actually be at the house. Going up the stairs and to the door Gideon knocked on the door. "Hello? Miss Donna we are here." He said as he looked back to the coach.

Bytan Brass and Thor - the Frenzy Fort

Though dull and damp, the old man's eyes remained sharp enough to see the hooded figure running straight toward him with relative ease.  As Thor approached, the size difference between the two wizards became obvious; the lightning mage's five-foot, three-inch height did not stack up against Bytan's 6-foot flat.  Thus, when Thor went to kick the man, even when coated by lightning, her lack of range made it easy for Bytan to step back out of its sweep.

He watched, mildly intrigued, while Thor made as if to run away, only to circle back and attempt to kick again.  This time, Thor's Lightning Body had fully taken effect, and it was not a hooded girl that Bytan faced but a bolt of electricity coming straight for his back.  Fortunately, the man was well versed in the turning-around department, and as he pivoted in Thor's direction he quickly pondered the situation.  Knowing that he'd take a hit anyway if he tried to evade again, he brushed his hand off his shoulder, and a yellow shimmer briefly shone beneath his fingers.

The air in front of Thor's bolt thickened into a yellow-tinged circle, which shielded Bytan from the blow.  Before the old man could retaliate, the fleet-footed lightning wizard was off again, and this time somehow jumped twenty feet to the Frenzy Fort's first floor ceiling and stuck there.  Apparently, she was trying to gauge the effectiveness of her attacks.  Bytan sighed, and touched two fingertips, that of index and middle finger, against several tattoos all over his body.

"Grand Almanac: Engage."

Suddenly, the tattoos vanished.  Around Bytan, several figures began to appear, manifesting at equal and opposite speed to the departure of his tattoos.  Two of them appeared to be himself, although younger, and with fewer tattoos.  The third, however, stood taller, and with no semblance of humanity save for bipedalism.  It appeared to be a sort of dragon, though smaller, and made of earth.  Bytan also brushed a tattoo that depicted a fireball before extending his arm upward, and a fireball zoomed up to slam into Thor from below.

-

Thor was quite surprised when the old man simply stepped back and avoided their kick relativly easy. The old man didn't seem anyway impressed about her and it even looked like he didn't even give a crap about Thor's attack. The second kick didn't seem to harm him either. Thor could barely see why the attack didn't hit Bytan. The old man was protected by some sort of barrier that came out of nowhere. Thor tried bursting through it by tensing up the electricity in their foot which also resulted in a bright light coming from the traction between the barrier and Thor's foot, but no harm was done anyway "Tsjh" Thor jumped up but still couldn't figure out what kind of magic he used. The barrier didn't say anything about his magic but it was clear to Thor that things needed to go the other way around.

Thor felt quite irritated by the sigh of the old man. He just didn't care in any possible way. He was finally preparing himself to do something back to Thor. Thor stand guard on the ceiling and carefully watched what the old man was doing. Multiple figures came flying off his body. No to be exact he used his tattoos to summon them. Were they illusions or real? This might have resulted in a slight problem for Thor. If Thor can't even hit the man and only fight the creatures for distraction how is it possible to beat him. In deep thought Thor could only barely evade the fireball that was being thrown at them by quickly walking along the ceiling. Thor's magnetism to the ceiling wasn't that big however and already made them fall down after the second step.

As Thor fell down Thor cast another spell at Bytan "Lightning Ball" The ball flew off straight towards him. Thor could use this bare moment to safely land on the ground and immediately roll towards them. As soon as Thor was near them Thor casted another spell "Lightning Shock" This was ideal for multiple targets. Thor quickly stood up again and only made their feet out of lightning with "Lighting Body" to dash towards the man. Thor tried punching the man with three quick strikes that probably didn't help much since their strength wasn't all too great but would at least hurt him a little.

-

Any disappointment in himself Bytan might have felt for whiffing his fireball was drowned by disappointment in Thor as she seemingly failed to recognize the dragon's constitution.  He made no move to defend against either her Lightning Ball or Lightning Shock, and his two copies echoed his nonchalance.  The electricity arcing through the air toward them suddenly diverted into the earth dragon, attracted to ground as all electricity was wont to do.  Bytan had specifically chosen his earth dragon for this occasion in order to test his opponent's versatility, but it seemed she hadn't too many tricks to offer.

As she approached him, her feet aglow with brilliant sparks, Bytan issued a command to his copies via gesture, and they stepped away to allow Thor to close the distance.  The old man crossed his arms in a defensive position just in time to catch Thor's punches.  Their electric infusion was not good for his raw nerves, and for a split second he was paralyzed.  In that second, however, Bytan's two copies stepping back in, and Thor found herself surrounded.  The two reached for the lightning wizard's arms to restrain her.

-

Thor smiled a little before looking at all the damage they had done to the opponent but to her surprise none of them seemed harmed at all. Thor stared a few moments at them and had only just noticed the dragon standing behind the group. The dragon didn't look like anything special at first glance but he seemed to have absorbed all of the electricity. Thor was taken off guard after just punching the guy for a few times and was locked in place by the two copies of the old guy. Thor struggled getting out and even tried raising the power of the electricity that was automatically emitting from her body. After a few more moments of struggling Thor spoke a few soft words knowing that the two copies were holding onto Thor tightly "Electrocution" Thor was starting to get slightly mad about being taken so lightly.

This time, without the dragon in close proximity, Thor's lightning took effect.  Bytan, recovered from paralysis, was able to move backward fast enough to avoid some of the punishment, but received a nasty shock nonetheless that caused his withered heart to beat painfully fast.  His copies, meanwhile, were not so lucky.  Supercharged with voltage, their skin crackled and burned, and they melted away into mist.  Already, however, the old man was working on his next move.  He rubbed his shield tattoo again, and a yellow barrier formed that he then thrust outward to bash into Thor and make some room.

Bytan crossed his arms and shouted in a guttural voice, "To be a soldier it is not enough to throw around power with no direction.  One must also use the mind.  Just as water trumps fire, earth diffuses electricity.  I have not shown you the full extent of my power, and I do not intend to.  If you figure out a way to defeat my earth dragon, however, you will prove yourself worthy of training, and I will concede.  Go!"

The dragon growled and charged forward.  When it got close enough to Thor, it swept its long, orange-pointed tail toward her.

Thor felt the grip of the two fade away as they disappeared into a thin mist like form. This was almost fair and square again. As Thor wanted to land another hit against the old man his face Thor widened their eyes. The Yellow shield appeared right in front of their eyes and thrust Thor backwards. Thor could barely shield themself with the side of their arms. Thor left a long dust trail under their feet and straightened theirself again. Thor felt a little startled after the man raised his voice. Thor carefully listened to the man, it was more like a lecture then a real fight. But it was true the man himself must have been an S-class in his young years. He hasn't moved a finger since they had started fighting. In his serious mode Thor would probably not even be able to scratch the old geezer. Thor gave a small nod accepting the challenged and turned around to face the dragon while not keeping the corner of their eyes of Bytan at the same time.

Thor immediately felt the large orange tail sweep their feet away, Thor released a small gasp out of their mouth and used their hands to push theirself away from the ground. Thor made a handstand and jumped up with their hands to stand on their feet again. As soon as Thor was on solid ground again they dashed forward towards the dragon. Thor didn't have as much of a plan in mind yet but Thor was sure electricity wasn't gonna work. Although Thor didn't use much other fighting styles apart from their electricity it was still possible "Lighting Body" There at least was a way for Thor to move faster. The body of Thor was surrounded by lighting once again as Thor tried to strike the legs of the dragon. To surprise they were harder then Thor had originally thought.

The physical integrity of the leg did not, however, mean that its owner didn't feel the attack.  Though the electricity of course dissipated on hit, Thor's blow staggered the creature, causing it to nearly stumble as it moved left, trying to maintain its balance.  Bytan raised a snowy eyebrow, wondering if Thor had figured out that the two-legged dragon was top-heavy.  Angered, the dragon swerved back toward Thor, and lashed its tail at her. For a creature with such a large head and jaw, it didn't seem very eager to attempt to bite its opponent.

Thor had already noticed the body of the dragon was way to big for those legs to properly fight on. Despites of his lack of balance he was still pretty hard and was way to heavy for Thor to kick over just as simple as that. The weight of the creature could clearly be felt as Thor was hit in the stomach by the creature. Soon Thor found themself flung towards a nearby wall. Thor coughed up a little bit of blood as Thor hit the wall. As soon as Thor got back to their feet Thor immediately used the wall to jump towards the creature with great speed to get momentum and use the bottom of Thor's shoe to kick on one spot so that the creature would be thrown off balance. Thor immediately jumped again and two times more on the walls around them to get to the other side of the creature. Thor used the same method and gained momentum again but this time used Thor's full body to tackle the creature's upper body.

The series of attacks on the speedy lightning wizard's part took a toll on the earth dragon, but not as much as it would have had Thor not been so small and light.  Her second, full-bodied assault, caused the beast to topple to the floor with a crash, but aside from being knocked down it didn't seem too much worse for wear.  Its head, however, lay on the ground, momentarily stunned by the impact.  It snarled and began to rise; if Thor planned to act, it would have to be soon.

Thor gave a smile of triumph as the creature fell down towards the ground. For a few moments it looked like the fight was over but before they could celebrate the creature rose again. Thor was a little dumb founded when the creature was almost happy and about again. Thor had to act quick or else everything that was done up till now would have been wasted and would only make Thor more tired. Thor jumped up towards the ceiling again and had to quickly come up with a critical spot before dashing down again. The legs would only delay the beast from standing up again. The body would take too much force and the arms. Well the arms weren't as much of a target. Thor dashed down again aiming their legs at the head of the creature. Thor braced themself for the impact and striked down on the side of the head of the creature causing it to bounce towards the ground again. Thor immediately fell down along sides the creature and immediately started to heal their legs out of reaction of the pain.

Thor's downward kick did little damage in itself, but fortunately the sudden collision of head and ground was another story.  As the dirt dragon's chin smashed into the sturdy training-room floor, it crumbled, and the lightning mage's do-or-die attack had paid off.  The earthen body slumped to the ground before dissolving into mist.  From the other side of the hall, Bytan's voice reached her.  [color=A45A52"A bold move.  If it had failed, you would have been destroyed.  A wiser option would have been to target its eyes first to guarantee it couldn't see you coming and dodge.  That is what I did when I slew the real version thirty years ago, and had a tattoo of it made to immortalize the memory.  A promise is a promise, however.  I concede."[/color]

Another dignified round of applause circled the room, ending with Zander.  The knight had seated himself during the battle, and rested his chin on his fist.  "An admirable job, recruit.  If Lieutenant Brass thinks you have potential, I will echo the sentiment, and promote you to B-rank.  I would not, however, advise that you take on an A-rank tester just yet.  The only A-rank currently in our training hall is the noble Hyun..." he indicated a somber-looking woman, clad in a formal, violet garb of foreign origin.  "...And judging by the attention you're paying to your legs, you've developed a serious weak point.  Hyun's own skillset, I fear, is far beyond your own.  Will you accept your worthy accomplishment, rest, and improve yourself for next time, or squander a winning streak on your first day?"

Thor rolled around on the ground a little full of pain trying to heal their own legs so that it would hurt at least a little bit less. After a few short minutes of healing Thor's legs seemed to have healed at least a little bit. Thor slowly tried standing up and headed over towards the tattooed mage, Thor showed the paper of her notepad to him "Are your arms hurt?" Thor heard the old guy out and started writing again to follow up on his last few sentences "I know but I would never try to hurt someone permanently." Thor gave a stubborn look and bowed short after showing another note "Thank you for the fight." Thor smiled slightly at the man and faced Zander again.

Thor felt glad Zander had taken a liking to the fight they just had and the old geezer did some serious damage to Thor that would have a big impact on the next fight. Thor shook their head a little as Zander gave the option to rest a few days and take the A-rank exam once Thor would be ready for it. Thor walked closer over towards Zander and showed a note to him "I came here for an A-rank exam. I'm gonna finish the A-rank exam today." Thor didn't look overconfident or anything like that but was just sure that this fight could be won with every drip of sweat on the line. Thor stumbled over towards the ruby line again and waited for the other mage to stand across Thor.

Hyun strode, with immaculate posture and graceful step, to the ruby line across from Thor.  Her face was drawn in solemn resolve, and with a practiced hand she removed two katana from their saya on her waist.  "In time, Lieutenant," she told the exhausted lightning mage in a faint but distinctive Sevenese accent, "You will understand why you have lost.  General Zander, I await your command."

"Be merciful but firm, your former highness," the Ruby Knight advised.  Where there had been whispers about Bytan Brass, there were none concerning Hyun.  Only one outcome seemed possible.  "Begin."

"In a single drop of moonlight I seal your fate.  Mundane Spark."

The swordswoman drew her katanas across one another, and a pure white gleam appeared from beneath them.  It darted toward Thor, homing in on her at a rate, while not quite lightspeed, nevertheless proved impossible to dodge.  As the splash of white touched Thor, however, nothing seemed to happen at first.  Already tired, Thor would not notice a weight settling over her heart when her focus was distracted by Hyun charging straight for her, blades ready.

Thor's breathing was heavy already before the fight had started. There was already some sort of haziness developing in the eyes of Thor, everything was harder to see and Thor's reactions also dropped dramatically. Maybe Thor shouldn't have taken the fight with the next mage. There was always plan B Thor could just be a stationary turret on the roof and beat her that way.

Only a few seconds later the opponent mage began making less room between the two by charching at Thor. It was an easy dodge for her, Hyun could be seen coming to her from a mile away and Thor simply activated Lightning Body. As Thor wanted to dash away Thor had noticed that absolutely nothing was happening. Thor scammed their eyes over their body to see what in the world was happening. Did her magic pool run out? Thor started panicking and tried dodging the now pretty close girl who was about to strike Thor with her sword.

Thor didn't succeed in getting anywhere far away from the girl and tried a few more spells "Force Field, Lighting Body, Lighting Ball, Shockwave" Thor rapidly waved their hands around not to being cut by any of that. This was not what Thor was suppose to be doing now. Acting like a clown in front of her toughest opponent up til now in this guild. Thor couldn't do any more moves and took the risk to have one cut at the very least.

Hyun allowed herself the briefest of smiles at Thor's confusion, and delayed her sword swing.  Instead of attacking, Hyun followed Thor's dodge, and when the lightning mage's momentum trailed off, the swordswoman swept in to place one katana each in front and behind her neck.  "Surrender now, Lieutenant.  I will not kill you, but it will hurt if you do not comply.  In this guild, wins and losses find all of us in equal measure, and you must greet both with good grace.  I do not require one of your notes to inform me; a simple nod of the head will suffice.  Do you surrender?"

Thor was found dumbfounded by the girl her next move. From one moment to the other Thor found themself stuck between the two swords of the girl. Thor wasn't able to move in any way now without hurting their own neck in the progress. The girl began her speech basically saying if Thor didn't surrender that it was sure that Thor wouldn't leave this match without a single cut. Thor their feet were just able to reach the ground from this position so it wasn't all to comfortable staying like this the whole time. Thor shook their head in denial, such a match couldn't simply end just like this. Thor grabbed ahold of the arms of the girl and lifted their own legs up towards the girls neck. Thor could quickly clamp the girl her neck between Thor's two legs. Thor immediately began crushing the girl her neck between their two legs. The girl couldn't simply cut Thor's throat without receiving punishment from Zander or any other members so Thor would simply have to take that blind guess for now and win this fight with her own strength instead of relying on her own magic the whole time.

So it seemed that she'd be taking the 'firm' route after all.  It had been a mistake to assume a position typically meant for fatal threats, but not an irreparable one. She had expected retaliation, but the reply she'd received astonished her only in its lack of forethought.  Thor's move was to try and choke out a woman in armor, with her petite, already-wounded legs nonetheless, while holding onto Hyun's arms to avoid falling onto the floor in a heap.  "Perhaps your mind...is not as developed...as the Lieutenant guessed."  Thor's was a compromising position.

Hyun descended to her knees.  Now Thor's head rested squarely on the floor.  When the swordswoman raised her arms, the lightning mage was forced to hang on to them to keep her purchase.  And when Hyun dropped her arms, Thor's head smacked against the hard, wood floor.  "Burns...force trauma..." she recapped as she repeated the action, beating Thor's head against the floor once again.  With every repetition, the girl's hold grew weaker.  "You chose poorly when you defied me, and you chose more poorly when you decided to use your damaged legs in your last-ditch attack.  A soldier must know when to yield!"  Bonk.

With that, it was done.  Thor's misfortune, audacity, and refusal to admit defeat resulted in a limp, robed form lying on the floor.  Whether unconscious or not, Thor had lost against the queen from another land.  This hardly surprised the onlookers; Hyun's personal style capitalized on opponents who were physically weaker than she.  Morimato Tsubano, one of the guild's healers, approached Thor as the crowd dispersed and Hyun stalked away.  Leaning over the girl, mask and bear fur clad, she inquired if she needed medical attention.

Mayt --- Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
Mayt smiled a little. "Hey, that's what I started didn't I? Activating your magic may have been the goal, but we need to see what it's capable of." He moved his foot back, taking up a defensive position, and he placed one hand on the hilt of his sword, like he was going to draw it. In truth he had no intention of using the blade itself, the scabbard could serve in place of it, and he didn't want to hurt Sin or Virtue. "And since it seems to be wrath, it's no large leap to guess that it would be largely combat oriented magic." He glanced at Virtue, expecting her to say something negative about them fighting, but kept his eyes mostly on Sin and what he would do.

Mithera
Mithera held her tongue, deciding to think about what she thought of it all. It wasn't until Gideon went to collect their payment that Mithera answered Zero's question. "What I think, is that the stories don't add up. Donna said that the job had been up for four months, but then her husband was killed last month. That doesn't make sense to me. There's something here that seems fishy, and I don't like it. Do we happen to have a communication Lacrima? I want to stay here and make sure everything's alright. If it isn't... Well, I can always try to get them to move to Magnolia and join Phoenix Wing. That girl really is powerful, and dark guilds are going to notice sooner or later." She growled softly, more to herself than at anything in particular. "While I don't enjoy the idea of taking someone from their mother, especially a child so young, if the mother's story is true she has no hope of stopping anyone who really wants her daughter, and an untrained wizard of her apparent caliber could be a danger to everyone around them. Intentionally or no." Sighing, she took off Zero's shoulder and flew over to a window into Donna's home, looking inside.

Phoenix Wing Hall

"Oh, please, Fleo. It wasn't your fault. I flubbed the maneuver because I was doing too much at once. But yes, at least I didn't wreck anything." Trinity giggles softly, grinning at Fleo as she pushes herself to her feet from the bar. "Well, the bacon was a treat. With all the exercise I got and magic I spent fighting you, I gotta eat well. Those full incantation arrows are draining. Though... I have a hard time gaining weight, anyway."

The minstrel walks with Fleo on approach to Annalise and Ariel, "yeah, I getcha. We should probably ask to see the flyer, ourselves, too." She turns her attention to Ariel as they come to stand before her, smiling warmly. "We sure would! I was just thinkin' I should take a job, and I was going to take Fleo with me. If you need someone to go along with you, we'd love to."

Sin chuckled, cracking his knuckles and for style points cracking his neck in a cool manner like the people you would see in action movies. Sin's gaze soon drifted down to Mayt's sword, he was reaching for it which seemed strange as Sin and Virtue were weaponless. "Hey! If you are going to use that sword, you better give me one to so I can swipe that stupid look on your face!" The boy smiled brightly, his red aura vibrating with excitement until the aura suddenly popping two swords in his hands. Sin gripped them tightly, he wasn't even going to question what was happening as this was going to get really interesting. "I hope you were actually planning to use that sword as these things don't look like they can break!" Sin readied himself to dash towards the target before Virtue put her hand on his shoulder.

"Sin, do you honestly want to harm this man?" Virtue asked him sternly.

"What? No... Well, not kill him or anything. Just want to wipe that smirk off his face and show him that I can be all cool too." Virtue looked into Sin's eyes hard, determining if he was saying the truth or not by staring basically into his soul. Sin didn't blink once, he knew what she was doing and she knows that he was telling the truth. Virtue continued to stare before backing down and groaning loudly before looking back at Mayt.

"If you plan to spar with my brother, I have no choice to step into this fight. I will try to make things as peaceful as possible, but I must keep my brother safe from harm." Virtue stated before her pink aura suddenly started to dance wildly and soon creating a shield, her face was serious and her brothers was playful as his blades suddenly lost the sharp edge and both sides becoming dull. Sin and Virtue both looked at each other and nodded at the same time.

"Time to party!" Sin screamed out before launching himself at greater speeds than his last charge on Mayt and for some reason, Sin knew how to use these swords in an actual proper manner. He could feel that these were basically apart of him, this aura has basically took over his body and could make him fight with so much speed and ferocity, however, Mayt is still a powerful wizard with the ability to do many things. Sin closed his eyes for a split second, and when he opened it again, his eyes were glowing red. The powerful boy with several great strides was in front of Mayt and he raised both of his swords high above his head and threw them down as hard as he could towards Mayt.

Virtue was on stand by, she was floating high above the two with her new wings, still trying to get used to those and looked at the fight below from a birds eye view. She looked at her shield, curious on what it could do, Virtue let go of the magical shield for it only to float in mid air. Virtue eyed this suspiciously before moving her finger around and actually made the shield move on itself, and this surprised her immensely. Virtue quickly looked down to the fight and commanded the shield to move down towards the fight and made it basically hover above Sin while he was in mid-jump and she was ready for any counter measures Mayt was about to use on Sin be it offensive or defensive.

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Jack regarded the wrinkled face of the man before smiling and nodding. "Some of our more interesting members are out on jobs or getting ready to go train for the Games, but I'm sure they can find the time before they leave. I myself am available whenever you wish to speak, so feel free. Enjoy your stay, Mister..." He realized he hadn't asked for a name when the man arrived, a habit he needed to shake soon. Most job applicants ended up in this awkward position. Then someone else came in and two smells struck the God Slayer.

The first was that of someone who'd been traveling the road a long time with no bath or proper care. It happened on occasion, people needing jobs put up but not taking the time to care for themselves before coming in. The second, however, was much more worrisome. It was the smell of rotting flesh, a smell that meant one of two things; either the person had recently buried an overly dead body, or there was living dead in his hall. And it appeared, unfortunately, that it was the second. The undead mutt found itself burnt to a crisp in seconds as the black flames enveloped it before he approached the girl. "Why, necromancer, are you in my hall and not at home with your dark guild friends?"

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Training Field

James had reached the training field ahead of Mayt, Virtue, and Sin and had taken a small section of the field for himself to work on a couple of newer tricks that he'd also discovered in his research into his magic. When they came out, he was in the middle of transferring his smite into his sword, an attack called Paladin's Holy Blow. He stopped, however, as they began sparring, he chuckled at Mayt taking advantage of Sin's inattentiveness.

He was about to return to his own practice when he felt the necklaces activate and the sibling's magic energy come alive. Sin became enveloped in a red aura and his sister in a pink one, giving the paladin just a moment of pause. Wrath is Sin....meaning...Ah, patience. That must be it. This theory was confirmed a moment later when Virtue stopped the murderous Sin from, well, murdering Mayt and brought him back to a clear mind set. That was all the confirmation he needed. Sin needed Virtue to balance him out for sure, but did she need him to balance her out?

As Mayt beckoned Sin forward to attack again, Virtue and Sin had a small discussion before Virtue rose up into the sky and Sin rushed Mayt, James was content to sit, and watch, thinking Virtue would do the same until she sent her shield into the fray. "Oh no, keep it fair. Blessed shield!" His own shield slid on to his arm the flew through the air, meeting pink one mid-air and knocking it back towards it's owner. His returned to his arm and he drew his sword from it's scabbard. "Rule one of fighting for peace, Miss Virtue, is that peace is not possible without a fight. As a Paladin, I accept this reality and strive to make sure that at some point in the future, the need for my order will no longer exist." Preparing a spell, he throws his shield again. "Shield of the Righteous!" The shield filled with holy energy, but rather than acting like the rebound attack it normally does, it hits once and then explodes with the holy energy with the shield returning to James. "Can you come to terms with the same truth, Virtue?"

Eve - Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Eve was excited, this building wasn't kicking her out right away! She knew that great things would come from the people who are the most determined. She eagerly stood in one place, waiting for someone to come and greet her and finally answer her questions on why this town was so grumpy. In the corner of her eye, she saw some man walking towards her, Eve smiled brightly waving at the man, "Hey there mister! I just want to ask a quest-" Eve stopped mid sentence and wave as she felt something had just died, something that she had revived. She was panicking, it was no way that Fluffy just died, no way that her new pet just burst into flames... No way, no way, no way. The girl slowly turned around, completely ignoring the man that had just killed Fluffy and saw of what remained. Eve dropped to her knees, trying to grasp what remained of her dog and tried to infuse it with her unholy magic, it didn't work. She tried again, and again, and again before tears were streaming down her face. "Come on, get up. Get up, just like I told you." Eve stammered out before trying once again. As she was putting all of her attention upon Fluffy, she had forgotten about the murderer right behind her and she was at his mercy at this point in her life.

Virtue - Phoenix Wing Training Field

Virtue looked down as her shield was heading towards Sin to protect him, she was ready to help Sin out with the fight be it blocking attacks or balancing him out. However, she didn't imagine someone else entering the fray and it was none other than James, the holy paladin. As her shield was coming back straight at her with incredible speed, she made it dissipate back into energy before another formed around her arm. She looked down at James as he was giving her a philosophical discussion in the middle of combat... Was she always like this? Virtue shook her head from the confusion and looked back at James to give him her response. "Your statement is hypocritical. You fight to make peace? Peace is a very hard concept to stand by in its true manner, you may have good intentions, but you are going at it the wrong way. Fighting may be inevitable, but you can't be the one to start it, you must sheath your sword and let them find the error in their ways. And if I can't win on this virtue, then I will die with dignity." Virtue soon threw her shield at the magically charged shield that James had threw and an explosion of holy energy exploded above the fight below with Sin and Mayt. Another shield apperead in Virtue's arm and she raised it towards her face, her eyes peeking over the shield.

Mayt --- Phoenix Wing Training Yard
Mayt simply put his hand in the path of the blades. "Reflect: Motion." The magic circle would appear again, and send Sin's attack backwards a second time, this time probably throwing Sin onto his back if he wasn't braced well enough. "Seems you forgot I could send your attacks right back at you." Once Sin had regained his balance and his feet, Mayt would move to strike him across Sin's stomach with his scabbard before Sin could mount a defense. Turning quickly, Mayt would then go for a second strike across Sin's back, his scabbard making an obnoxious 'clack' sound as it collided with the sword within. "So a good tip would be don't throw your full strength into an attack, so that if it fails you aren't left completely open. This is true for any fight." He took a step back, watching for Sin's move now, instead of pressing his advantage. "The best way to beat an opponent is look for their weak spots, and try to use them." Taking a deep breath, Mayt prepared himself for an attack from two directions. That was the most obvious maneuver for Sin to try, in Mayt's eyes. He barely registered James keeping Virtue from intervening.

Sin - Phoenix Wing Training Yard

Sin had fallen for the same trick twice! As his blades were about to meet with the soft flesh of Mayt, his swords slammed into nothingness before he was blasted back by his own force. Now, as he was putting all of his strength into that, he did a back flip into the air before his body slammed onto the ground. Sin expected to feel pain at that moment, but all he felt was a light sensation on his back... Nice, this magic numbed his pain. As Sin started to get up, he didn't expect the scabbard to the stomach and yet again it didn't feel that bad getting hit! However, it still wasn't nice as on pure instinct his arm quickly parried the strike to his back. Sin smiled as this fight was getting really interesting... and fun!

However, Mayt had to ruin it all as he was now lecturing him in the middle of combat and he listened to the advice, but wanted to get back to the fighting. Sin gripped his swords tightly and charged once again at Mayt with both of his swords ready to strike at the annoying man. It also seemed that Mayt had read his mind or the rather obvious tactics that Sin was using. The boy now swung his swords at the same time, one heading towards his head and the other towards his knees as Sin thought that he can't block his attacks from two different directions.

"im known as the time lord, dear guild master" Timelord said with a chuckle, and for now he merely observed deciding to talk with some of dragon Fangs members in the morning.

When the group returned to Donna's house, she had cat in bed, and the reward ready for them, and gave it to them, before sending them on their way, with a gift basket of food.

penny
@zarkun@expolar

As the fight continued, Penny was suddenly worried that the loud noise, and the crashing to the ground would cause an avalanche. Mt hakobe was a fickle mountain, and it often snowed.

As if her thoughts had summoned it, she felt the vibrations of an avalance. The white wave of snow tumbled down the mountain, and Penny gave a sigh, snatching up their gear, she shot of into the air, and put them in a safe place, before returning, seeing the wave of snow crashing into Damian and the Wizard katlyn.

She studied it for a moment, following where both of them went with the show as well as she could, but she soon lost track of them both. She hesitated, debating, but at times, Penny was a selfish creature, and she figured that the strange wizard could look after herself.

She wasn't about to let damian get lost, hurt or killed in a damned avalance. So she took off in the last direction he had gone, finding him eventually. By then, the sun had disappeared, the sky darkening. Penny hoped that her flames might act as a baecon for the lost katlyn.

@zarkun@expolar

As dawn rose, Penny began a search for Katlyn, feeling guilty now that she had gone after Damian, and hadnt continued to search for the lost wizard. She had retreated their gear when she had found Damian, and thus wasn't worried about it, but now she was concerned for the lost wizard. Penny didn't get cold easily, but she imagined that the snow from the avalance had been cold.

She soared across the sky, wondering if there had been something that she could have done, to save them both from the avalance. It had come quick, but could she have shouted out, before taking their gear to safety?

She didn't known. She twisted through the air with ease, the sun on her back, her flames flickering as she searched. She hadn't slept, worried and guilty. She was weary now, but decided she wouldn't stop searching, refusing to believe she bad condoned the wizard to death.

sasha
@yipeexD

As the new day rose, Sasha dressed, tying her hair back, she smiled at her reflection. how is your life going, Edo Sasha? Are you happy? Do you have the games, there in Edolas? Has your jamie left, like ours has? So many questions, and wonders they were like To go unanswered, Sasha knew, although her eyes drifted to the book, the book with Fairy Tails guild Mark on her desk.

She shook her head, and then headed out, and pounded on Lazarus's door, decided that they needed to really get into training, even though they had two months before the games.

"Lazarus!" she called cheerfully

michael
@silver fox@oblivion666

Michael woke to a weight in his chest, and a hissing in his ear. Cleopatra was standing by his head, heckles raised, hissing, batting at something. The little kitten had class out, and as Michael moved, he found he couldn't get up, looking to the weight on his chest.

Hermes sat there, grinning foolishly, some string dangling Just in front of cleopatra, teasing her with it. Michael shoved the spirit of his chest, grumbling, he sat up.

"what word from Gabriel?" he asked the spirit, who had resumed his play with the kitten.

"Gabby is doing okay. He has successfully joined Frenzy Plant, although I understand there was some difficulty, but isn't there always with him? Still, he seems well placed."

Michael nodded, it was what he had suspected. As Cleopatra pounced, Michael sent Hermes back home, relieved his brother seemed to be doing alright. He scooped Cleopatra up when she landed, gave her a hug and a pat, before rising, rolling up his sleeping bag, he quickly dashed to the bathroom to change clothes, soon returning.

"hey!" he said quite loudly, to ensure the others were awake, excited to head back to the guild with a successful job under his belt, and the claim a room and get settled.

gabriel
@Lugubrious

Gabriel rose early, an unsual habit for him, and headed outside. He summoned both dog and rat, smiling at them. "well, guys, we made it! And now let's get to training, so we can get stronger! So that when I seek advancement, we can kick butt without me feeling like im taking advantage of you guys!"

Zephyr
River Town

With birds chirping to bring the arrival of the next day, laid Zephyr in bed sprawled out sleeping through every bit of it. He was even more oblivious to not hear the kitten hissing or hear the spirit Hermes talking at all. Some might say his conviction to sleep was impressive though, what was even better was the fact he didn't snore despite the fact he slept like he would. Yet the conversation, the hissing, and the sounds outside weren't what woke him. It was Mikey saying hey loudly enough that made Zephyr jump out of bed. "Im up!" He said as he walked to the bathroom and came out shortly after dressed. He took his headphones off the desk and put them back on his head.

Looking around he couldn't see Prince at all, but then it hit him that his cat instincts were higher than his human ones. So walking outside he looked up at the roof and sure enough, there was prince. "You having fun up there!?" Zephyr said projecting his voice loud enough that Prince should have heard. And while they waited for Prince, Zephyr walked back in an wrapped his arm around Mikey's shoulder. "Hey buddy! I have a question for ya. And you are the only one that can help me with this. You can sense spirits right? Well in my sleep last night, I decided on what kind of takeover I will achieve! God takeover! And since you posses spirits that are pretty damn close to deities. I was wondering if you had any tips?" Zephyr asked while now peering closely at him with wide eyes and again attempting his best puppy dog face.

Black Rose of the Phoenix
At a local cafe//alone

Rose was sitting at a small local cafe across town stirring her cup of coffee lost in deep thought. She had yet to even attempt to sleep for atleast 24 hours now. Last night she kinda did the usual routine of cleaning up the guild hall of dishes and trash, clean the kitchen and prepare tomorrow's meals, get inventory counted and ordered before doing her next routine of getting Elyse to bed. Last night she did her first training session in a view long time in her guardian element of darkness, in the dead of night in a field outside of her town. Training just reminded her why she never used her magic tons because of the darkness she could feel awakening with every ounce of dark magic she allowed to flow from herself. "Should I even take part in these games?"she asked herself under her breath as she idle stared out the window lost within her thoughts as the one that wouldn't go away was her past finding her once again.

Eve - Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Eve's eyes fluttered open as she had awoken from her slumber... Strange, she didn't ever remember going to sleep. The necromancer was still groggy as her head was throbbing in pain from something that had happened. She tried getting up, however, she couldn't move? She tried moving once again with something restraining her. Eve's eyes were still blurry, but she could tell something was holding her in place, she then tried to thrash against the restraints causing only the chains to rustle, but not budging one bit. She started to panic, her breath quickening with her heart rate, she didn't know what was going on. However, yesterday suddenly hit her like a truck as she suddenly remembered what had happened. Some man had randomly burnt Fluffy into nothing with black flames and while she was mourning him, she felt something hard hit her in the back of her head and now she was here. What kind of messed up town was she in? First they ignore her then kill her only pet and kidnap her? She started to thrash once again on the chair, screaming for someone to help her as the room she was in was pitch black with no source of light.

Sin & Virtue - Pheniox Wing Training Field

Sin was sore, his muscles ached from constant exercise and he was angry at the fact that Mayt had basically beat him with only a scabbard and Sin's own force. He was determined to show that guy up, he wanted to beat him so his powers could finally be appreciated as he had some awesomely amazing skills! However, he could only do that if he trained enough to actually get good at fighting rather than a fish flopping around on the ground. Sin opened his eyes, he was on the grassy training field with Virtue looking down upon him, "Sin. You really have to look at all directions. It was quite easy to distract you and knock you over by swiping another shield at your legs." She smiled before offering her hand to the fallen Sin.

"Whatever, if I can finally get through that impossible defense from your stupid shields, then I will have the upper hand!" Sin mischievously grabbed her arm and then pulled her down onto the ground with him, "See, with no shields I have the upper hand." Sin started to laugh before a pink shield slammed onto Sin's chest, keeping him pinned on the ground and Virtue started to laugh.

"Pay attention to your surroundings is the second tip I was going to give you because I had that shield hovering above you even before you pulled me down!" Virtue continued laughing as Sin was flailing his arms and legs trying to get out while screaming at Virtue to let him go which only made her laugh even harder.

The tune Knights had appeared, as they were wont to do when a suspicious mage was caught, contained or seen. They were the magic councils army, although the magic council were reluctantly to let them go, so many had been injuried when Phoenix Wing Attacked that now the magic council only had a handful of senior Knights and were often guarded by green boys, or Knights untssted or undertrained, whenever they let the senior Knights go.

They had been tracking the necromancer for some time, drawn to the unusual magic as well as the somewhat...odd why Eve put it to. Her containment had been brought to their attention, and now, they were here to take her back to the magic council. That was their job.

Damian Gerard|Mount Hakobe

Damian was still sitting by their campfire, Durandal sitting on his lap as he sharped the blade's edge. When he'd realized that they'd been about to be buried in a mountain of white snow, he'd activated his trap prematurely, trying to stem the flow around him and Katlyn. It had sort of worked, but in the end, nature's fury beat out nature's prime gift and sent the white flood rushing towards the pair. He reacted by using his Blade Shield Bunker to avoid being buried and waited until he was certain the avalanche had run it's course before raising himself up on a Striker Blade and using the Bunker to push the snow out of the way. When he'd reached the top, he just waited for Penny to spot him.

Now, as he sharpened Durandal's blade, he wished that he'd pushed to go find Katlyn before the snow had had a chance to settle. Even though she had her...unique and interesting magic to help dig herself out, a night on the snow wouldn't have been good on anyone. And Penny had insisted he stay by the fire while she went out to look. He'd argued she needed to rest, but she'd refused and flown off anyways. With a heavy sigh, Damian continued sharpening, hoping things were alright.

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Guild Hall

Jack welcomed the Rune Knights when they arrived, smiling and nodding to each in turn before he was approached by their captain. "Welcome, Captain. If you'll follow me, we put her in a storage room with some chains to keep her from escaping. I...don't know how stable she is. When I destroyed her undead pet, she was more concerned with that than she was confronting me." He reviewed the previous day in his mind as he lead the way to her.

Once she'd turned to address her now charred pet, Jack had spent a couple minutes trying to get her attention. At least until he felt her trying to raise it again and the magic that didn't work on the dog seeped away towards the remains under the hall. So rather than take chances, he had knocked her out and had her contained in a storage room with a leech lacrima to keep her from using her magic to raise help. "I would keep her magic energy as low as possible, to prevent an escape." And with that, he opened the door to where she was.
