Well, that was an odd sensation. The archer looked around the room, and saw that her arrows had both gone out and were now no longer turning like she wanted. A small test confirmed her suspicions. Something had shut out the use of her magic. Well, if that were the case, she'd just wait for it to come back. It wasn't that she couldn't fight without it, just that... that guy's pretty big. This made a good opportunity to rest, being sheltered by the water and the rock. She should be ready to dive in, though...
Edolas
"Aah, who's this you found? She's pretty." A white haired woman with highlights all in pink, purple, and blue emerged from nearby Beatrix and Edo-Karn. "And what a number she's wearing, whoo~" She grinned as she slid her arms around Karn's shoulders. Herself, she was dressed in somewhat less than her Earth Land counterpart. More flashy and showy.

Karn sighed relief as he was lended that assist as Penny gently picked children off of him and shooed them away. They pouted and some whined but others giggled before skittering away. Once he was free, the large beast lied on his belly sighing in relief. "Ahhh I was beaten down by children. Master would of scolded me." he laughed as he stretched before standing up and transforming back into his human form. "Thank you for the save." he said cheerfully.
Edolas
Edo-Karn blinked slowly before glancing casually to Edo-Trinity, whom wrapped a arm around them. They rolled their green eyes and shrugged their shoulders slightly at the question, indicating that Edo-Karn had no idea. "No idea, just came around threatening to bash my skull in if I didn't give her Lizzy and hold her hand in teaching how to actually ride him. So I wouldn't bother with all your flirtatious attitude, Highlights. Then again, you're clothing isn't much better then her. Is this what most girls are wearing now adays?" they said giving a huff, nonchalantly pulling strand of clothing on Trinity to emphasize the point of lack of clothing before letting go. "Man where did bloody Ice Queen and the Old Man go? Been looking for hours for the dorks." Karn grumbled as their emerald eyes scanned around the area for any more surprises.

"Oh God, you're one of them..." Beatrix muttered to herself once the Karn before her revealed he was with Phoenix Wing. She brought a hand up and pinched her nose, already accepting a fate of severe annoyance to come from this boy. "I'm not from around here you moron." Before she could continue berating Karn, another woman arrived. To her irritation, even Trinity was making comments on her body and clothes. Beatrix let out an exasperated sigh. "Okay, listen up," she commanded, pointing towards the two of them. "I don't know where we are and I need a way back to Magnolia. If you two aren't going to give me a ride then I'll be taking the flying lizard myself and find my own way. I have important business to handle and I'm sick and tired of people lying and getting me side-tracked. Consider yourselves lucky that my magic isn't working or I would've already given you a free knockout. Are we going to fly away peacefully or do I need to do this the hard way?"

"Eeeeh? You know I dress like this for danciiiing~" Edo Trinity smiled softly before dancing a little circle around Karn. Once she completed her little circle, she laced her arms around his shoulders again and leaned in to his ear. "If you don't like it, I suppose I don't have to wear it..." "Ok, listen up." "Oh, you're still here. I suppose that's not necessarily a problem..." Despite her jabs, the young dancer listened carefully. "Magnolia...? Wuzzat, some small town around here? I haven't heard of it. And..." Magic? That hasn't been a thing for a long time. Looong time. And... there was something strange about how this woman phrased it, wasn't there? "Are you feelin' alright, lady?" She gave Karn a vaguely concerned look.

"Well noooo duh but it's not like your being very cooperative either soooo what else but assume you're a idiot?" Edo-Karn said in response before glancing to their friend as she danced around them. At the whisper in the ear, the blonde mumbled, gently flicking her nose with a slight embarrassed flush along the earlobes. "Hey, you know I have sensitive ears. Little minx, seriously." They said before glancing to the stranger again. "Or maybe you can be polite and, oh I dunno, maybe say a name or maybe at least a please? And if your not from around here maybe ask where exactly you are. Ya know, things you usually ask when you don't know where you are. Isn't it the stereotype that girls always want to ask for directions?" they said sarcastically before their uncaring neutral suddenly turned to actually one of interest at the mention of magic and Magnolia. "What? There hasn't been any magic since about one hundred years, and there isn't such a thing as Magnolia. City wise at least that I know." Edo-Karn said before humming tapping their chin. Returning Edo-Trinity's look of concern briefly, Edo-Karn crossed their arms over their flat chest and thought for a moment, emerald eyes examining this stranger. Of course, usually, this woman would be called some sort of psycho or something. However, her clothes were odd and Edo-Karn hadn't seen such a trend, even in the more skimpy district. And despite the rude temperamental attitude, they didn't think she was exactly lying either. According to gut feeling and what they had listened to at least. Odd. Something about this seemed familiar, like something straight out of a fairy tale. Something about Prince Jellal, and some crazy monster took all of Edolas magic. Explosions, end of the world, blah blah blah. Feeling like they've heard something this before, Edo-Karn's expression grew a bit more serious. "If you're not from here, then where are you from? Country? World?" they asked, slightly hoping this girl would cooperate with at least those questions, and hoping they recongized anything she gave.

Penny, Location: Earthland
Penny smiled at Karn and said, "Children can be scary. Don't worry about it." She said, glancing at the crowd again, but all seemed well, especially when Master Jamie joined them. She was at ease, and glad she had this duty. It was easy, and she was starting to ache again. Something she didn't let show. But she was still glad as the crowd seemed to thin as the novelty wore off.
"Pen", Location: Edolas
The Young, tanned skin Man read the report he had been given. His shaggy red hair kept on falling over his bright red eyes. His expression was stern, serious. He sighed, and laid the paper down. "So, you are saying that a new energy has been sensed, for the last...how many years?" He checked the report again hundred years? And that it is similar to the "Energy" We consider necessary for some aspects of magic? How?" The scientist he was addressing was pale, but replied with a strong voice "We believe there is a...tear in the...lining of our world. Are you aware of the world parallel to ours called Earthland? They have a vast amount of Magic. We don't know what happened there, but we believe this magic is sweeping into our world, and recently, it has been increasing. With time...magic could be lush n our world" The young man leaned back in his chair. He had an oddly feminine look to him, but no one could deny that he was one tough gun. He rose, his body muscular, tall and lean. He was wearing red, and had a tattoo on his left bicep, in the shape of flames. "Alright. Keep this quite for now. I will let the King know. Thank you" as the scientist darted away, the man known as Pen looked out the window of Edolas. This could be a good day for him. If he planned it right, he, Pen could be a powerful man. He could stop being a simple, albeit somewhat powerful man, and instead...he could be the leader and have control of Edolas. Oh, yes. It was a good day. Pen smiled, and returned to the desk. However, as he opened a drawer, the picture flashed up at him. He stared at it for a few moments, and then shook his head. "If they wanted me, they would have found me. Obviously I wasn't good enough for our mother" He spoke to himself, slamming the drawer shut, and returning to the report, taking a blank piece of paper and beginning to right his own report.
Edo-Sasha, Location:edolas
"Man where did bloody Ice Queen and the Old Man go? Been looking for hours for the dork" At Karn's voice, Edo-Sasha stepped out, studying the scene, she let Edo-Karn and Edo-Trinity finish what they were saying to the stranger. Finally, she spoke up. "Well, Karn. I'm here" The young woman had her hair long, her bright eyes alight. She was wearing a black dress, that showed off her chest, and she stood with a cocky stance. "And if I am a dork, then what are you?" She said with amusement, shaking her head, and nodding towards the stranger, "Whose the weird woman?" She asked.

Beatrix
"I'm feeling just fine," she growled, crossing her arms impatiently. "It's you idiots that are off. What the hell kind of questions are those? This is Earthland, no? Moron." Another, more familiar voice sounded to her side, prompting Beatrix to turn and see the same woman that she almost fought in Magnolia. Only somewhat different. "Oh great, this one again..." Beatrix muttered to herself, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "You know what? I'm done with all this." She uncrossed her arms and leaped forward, landing on the Legion's back. After standing upright she faced the three before her. "Today I've only met freaks and idiots. I've been waiting for years and I'm not going to wait any longer." She gave the creature she was standing on a light tap with her foot before pointing towards the sky. "Fly!" The Legion didn't seem to react to her command, frustrating her further. She gave another tap with her foot, this time a bit stronger. "Go!" Now the beast moved a bit, but only so it could see who was standing on it. "Grrr. Forward! Up! Off the ground!" The Legion looked away now, apparently confused as to her intentions. "How do you work this damned thing!?" She gave a deliberate stomp of frustration, making the Legion let out a grunt from the impact.
???
The room was dark. There were no windows, only a single candle sitting on a desk. The low-light made it difficult to make out the features of the man sitting at the desk. He appeared to have no shirt, revealing a buff and defined body with several tattoos across it. His hands, however, had fingerless gloves and were easy to see as they were at work on the desk. He was clearly writing something on a piece of paper, using pen and ink. A door on the other side of the room opened, letting in a wave of light and illuminating some of the dark room. "Master," the intruder said. It was a large, burlesque man that appeared to be in his fifties that still retained a fit physique. "What is it, Ursus?" the man behind the desk responded. Now that there was more light, it was evident that he had spiky red hair that almost reached his shoulders at its longest point. A guild mark was visible on his right arm. "One of the spies got something." "He says that the old machine the kingdom has suddenly activated earlier today. It hasn't turned on in over a hundred years, since before the Demon King stole our magic." The man at the desk hummed to himself for a moment. "Interesting. I have my suspicions, but find out what it means. If magic is returning to Edolas..." He stood up and walked around the desk. As he approached the doorway the bigger man stepped aside. Once in the light, it was obvious who this was. His red eyes, red hair, and uncaring expression. It was the Edolas counterpart of Maddox Colburn. "Then I want to be the first to harness it." The bigger man nodded in agreement. "Aye. Power is everything. There are already few who can oppose us, master." After stepping out into the lit room, it was revealed to be some kind of hall full of people. It looked just like a guild. One could easily mistake it as such if it wasn't for the large board on the wall above a fireplace that was labeled: KILL COUNT, with various names and tallies underneath. "Listen up!" Maddox announced, ceasing the noise that was the rough and tough crowd before him. "I'm issuing a personal mission."

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Outside the Council Building Interacting: Penny, Jamie
"Very scary." Karn chuckled as he stretched and stood next to Penny in standing guard. It was kinda nice that they got the peaceful end of things, though he still worried about what was happening below and if those people who poofed were alright. He guessed he shouldn't worry too much about it though. As Jamie joined them, the boy cheerfully smiled. "Hiya GM!" he greeted.
Edolas
"There you are. We were starting to think the outlaws actually made a jump on you." Edo-Karn said as Edo-Sasha appeared before simply smirking at the playful question. "A ass?" Edo-Karn answered before watching as the stranger continued to rant about how they were idiots before attempting to take the Legion, who didn't really budge as the raving woman attempted to pound her foot against him. Determining that the woman was too much if a idiot to listen to any sort of reason, Edo-Karn turned to Sasha, while petting the Legion's leg and gingerly patting it downward, causing the large flying beast to lay down and continue to unmove. "Ya know, animal abuse isn't cool. Even if his skin is as tough as concrete." they said before turning to Edo-Sasha. "Idiot is trying to steal Lizzy here, while also having no idea where she is and seems to never seen a Legion before. Apparently looking for some place called Magnolia, and now apparently comes from a place called Earthland. It seems familiar, I swear I've heard of it before. But something from a book, nothing that is actually anywhere in Edolas. How about you Ice Queen? Anything sound familiar?" Edo-Karn asked the fellow guild member. "I don't think she's a part of the capital at least. Or the outlaws."

Edo-Sasha, Location: Edolas, Interacting with: Edo-Karn, Edo Trinity, Beatrix
"Oh great, this one again..." That seemed like Edo-Sasha was meant to know who this woman was, and that this woman knew who she was. Having never seen her before in her life, Sasha simply watched as she tried to get Lizzy to fly away. She shook her head, sighing heavily. "Outlaws will never get the jump on me" She said with mild annoyance at that comment, she listened as Edo-Karn continued speaking, "Well, I guess you have to be an idiot to try and fly a Legion not trained to you. And Lady, I have no idea who you are. But I suggest you get off Lizzy" She looked to Edo-Karn again, "Earthland is an alternative world to ours, so no, she isn't from the Capital if she is saying that. Still, if I were here, I'd get checked into a healer, or medic. She clearly needs some help" She shrugged, the guild mark on her chest seeming to ripple as her chest rose and fell with the movement.
Penny, Location: Earthland, Interacting With: Karn, Master Jamie
Penny was quite content just being outside, and being with Karn. It seemed less complicated then what was going on in the council building. Her thoughts went to Sasha, wondering if her sister was alright. Wondering what was happening in the guild hall. She was probably safe. She hoped so. Master Jamie smiled at Karn and replied, "hello, Karn. How are you two doing out here?" Penny shrugged, and said "Apart from Karn being attacked and tickled mercurially by children, not much" She said with a smile.

"Earth Land...?" Edo-Trinity blinked at the woman before turning to Edo-Karn. "Isn't that... redundant?" The dancer pondered it for a moment before deciding it didn't really matter. Edo-Sasha showed up just about then, and she turned her attention to greet her... and ogle her a little bit, in that dress. "Heeey sexy." She grinned and waved before turning back to her snuggles. "My ass. Hehehe." She smirked and gave Edo-Karn a slap and light squeeze. But, ahg, back to this... lady. "... So, what have you been waiting for, anyway? Crazy alien lady."

Beatrix crossed her arms, clearly flustered. "I swear I will break all three of you..." she grumbled, making a light hop and landing on the ground in front of them. "I can hear you all perfectly clearly, ya know." It took her a moment, but she soon picked up what they were talking about. "Edolas..." Beatrix brought her palm to her face, scowling and shaking her head. "They sent me to another world." She brought her hands back to her side and took a deep breath, serving as a method of calming herself down. "Bastards." Trinity spoke up, asking her what it was she was waiting years for. Beatrix walked closer to the woman, getting uncomfortably close to her face. "I was waiting to kill the bastard who murdered my father, my friends, and my life." Her tone was threatening, but unlike her earlier threats there seemed to be a more deadly sound to her voice. With that, she leaned back and gave Trinity her personal space again. "So now I know what's going on," she began. "First off." Now Beatrix pointed at the Sasha before her. "The you I met in Earthland was a total bitch." The final insult was out of her system and she brought her hand to her hip. "Secondly, it seems that I'm trapped in your world and can't even use my magic. I need to find a way back to Earthland... Somehow..."

Edo-Sasha, Locaton: Edolas
Edo-Sasha smiled at Edo-Trinity, amused, as she always was, by her behavior. She watched as the Earthland lady appeared to have a little break down, and as she got close to her, and said something about the Sasha she had already met being a bitch, Edo-Sasha just smiled, and said "a total bitch? That's good then. I'd expect nothing less from my other self, and if she disliked you, then she must have had a good reason for it. Pity. Seems like I dislike you too, Weirdo." She smiled, and chuckled, turning away, clearly dismissing Beatrix. "I ran into Jarvis on my way back, and he was saying that the Master needs us back in the hall. Something about something, or something a rather, or what not. Something serious" She said conversationally to Edo-Trintiy and Edo-Karn. The young woman knew that she had a good body, and clearly, this Sasha wasn't afraid of flaunting it, standing easily, and with a confidence that Earthland Sasha didn't have. Certainly she was more confident, and she seemed happy, relaxed, and just...sure of herself.

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Outside the Council Building Interacting: Penny, Jamie
"They were terrifying, way more than what we faced in the Council." Karn joked with a grin as Penny explained what happened moments before. Thinking a little, Karn pondered if now was a alright time to ask Jamie questions. It didn't seem much was happening on their side of things and the curiousity of the crowd had died a little. Might as well, considering there was little else to do other than the guard duty. "GM, do you know anyone named Rian Darkwalker? She was the last member of Chimera Flame." Karn asked, his smile disappearing at the serious question.
Edolas
At Edo-Trinity's antics, Edo-Karn grumbled and lightly smacked her handike scolding a child taking something out of the cookie jar. "You behave you bloody flirtatious woman. Or I'll punch you." they said as if scolding their teammate but gave a somewhat amused grin. Edo-Karn mostly ignored the strange woman's rants and complaints as they thought deeply on the subject. Earthland, it wasn't a common name to talk about really. As Bestrix got close to Trinity, the small blonde stepped in front, staring up at her with calm emerald eyes. "That's too bad then. Cause whoever that is probably isn't here. Except maybe another version here." Edo-Karn replied in the same nonchalant manner, but still stood there with arms crossed. They weren't worried over Edo-Sasha, but Edo-Trinity, flirtatious and so out there as she was, wasn't quite the brawler in comparison. At the mention of another Sadha and Edo-Sasha's response, Edo-Karn let out a laugh. "I'd like to see whose the bigger bitch outta you two. Just imagine, Ice Queen vs Ice Queen. I'd pay money to see that." Edo-Karn grinned before sighing as Edo-Sasha explained about Edo-Jarvis. With a sigh, Edo-Karn ran a hand through their blonde hair. "Alright, though I would of liked to stay and investigate this. If this crazy lady is actually telling the truth, there are probably more of them. And if they really are from Earthland... Then there is going to be a lot of trouble." They said before the short guild member looked to Beatrix. "Listen, if your words are actually fact, it will be better if you come with us. Wandering around here, even as a good fighter, without knowledge of this world won't go well. Especially with the capital. Or any others who might find out you actually made it here. But if you don't want to, fine, feel free to wander." Edo-Karn explained and suggested to the stranger before hopping on top of the Legion, who let out a pleasant pleased sound as it was petted by the blonde. "Come on, we better go before GM has our asses for being late." Edo-Karn said to their teammates.

East Forest > Phoenix Wing Guild Rutger Artz
The last few steps out of the forest felt as if he had stepped out from under a great weight. The presence of plant life, especially anything wooden, always made him nervous. It was the same with buildings, but out here, on the edge of Magnolia, it seemed that civilization was far enough from him to remain safe. There was only one building here. It inspired not fear, but hope. Phoenix Wing had begun garnering a reputation for itself in the past few months, quickly rising in the public eye. He hadn't known much about any of the Guilds when he left home. His village was so isolated he barely knew what guilds were, and out there away from the big cities where magic was so rarely seen, anything to do with it was seen with the same suspicion that had haunted the rest of the world for a hundred years. But his travels had brought word of this place to his ears. Other mages, powerful ones, capable of great feats. Surely they could teach him to control his power. Surely they could make his "curse" fade... But as the traveler grew closer to the hall, something did not seem right. He was still fairly far away, coming down a hill out of the woods, but shouldn't he have heard something by now? Weren't Guilds supposed to be lively places, full of hustle and bustle and noise and excitement? Not even a dull murmur was to be had in the air around the hall. He looked up, checked to make sure that this was indeed Phoenix Wing. He was in the right place. So...where was everyone? He approached the double doors of the entrance, and knocked with a firm but somewhat timid fist. Three raps, no more. He waited...nothing. Three more times he knocked, harder and louder now...still nothing. Slowly, he pushed the door open... "Hello?"

Lazarus nodded, agreeing with her. "Yes. It would be interesting to find some things out, before we survey our surroundings." He said somewhat calmly. "We will go to the version of our guild here, and try to find someone who can help us, once we figure out what to do. He turned to go in the direction Sasha was indicating to. "I wonder why the master didn't even acknowledge me." He chuckled a little. "Come on joshua," he called back. "Lets get 'back to the guild'". He grinned.

Edo-Trinity giggled mischievously as Edo-Karn slapped her hand. "Oh, you'll punch me, will you?" The dancer leaned in and nipped at her ear lightly before dancing her way over to hang on Sasha. "Aaah~, I poked a bear, help me~" One hand came to rest lightly on Edo-Sasha's waist, the other on the back of her shoulder as she pressed close in mock fear. "Save me~" When Karn climbed up on Lizzy, Edo-Trin leaves Sasha's back after tickling her sides a little. She climbs up behind Karn and snuggles up to her with a happy hum. The dancer reaches and pets Lizzy's side as she situates herself. It was then she remembered! "Oh yeaaaah, Earth Land. That's where the Demon King went, isn't it?"

Sasha, locaton: Edolas
As they walked, Sasha said to Joshua, "I'm sorry your first day with the guild has led to this. I'd say its not normally crazy like this...but then I'd be lying" She smiled, looking about them. Edolas seemed totally different from Earthland, and it unnerved her slightly. "In any case, Lazarus and I are happy to stick with you. Hopefully Jarvis and Amelia are alright, and end up where we are going. I hope they are both safe. It seems we all got split up on the transfer" her town was worried and concerned. She looked over to Lazarus, and said "Not everything is going to be the same here, maybe you aren't part of the guild here" She said, wondering if they were even friends in this world. How were things here? How did they do things here, without magic? She wondered. She stopped suddenly as she looked ahead. In front of them was a large building, made out of wood, and surrounded by trees. Painted on it was the Guild Mark of Phoenix Wing, and it seemed a haven of activity. "Wow" She said, and would have said more, but a voice called out. "Sasha! Saaaaaaasssshhhhaaa!" it broke as it went high then low, and Sasha froze, her eyes following the direction the voice had come from. A young boy, with the same blue-black hair as her, the same eyes came running towards her. He appeared to be 14, 15, and he smiled brightly. Ben. He was slightly taller then her, and thin, wearing a top and pants that were wrinkled. He practically slammed into her, hugging her tight. "B-b-b-Ben" She whispered, tears stinging her eyes. The last time she had seen him, he had been running across the ice with her. And then disappearing into the cold, cold water. Never to be seen again. He was alive here, alive in Edolas. He was safe. She didn't know if she could do this. Could do this, could act like she knew who this boy was, could act like she didn't know that he died in her world. She swallowed, and broke away, just studying this boy that was her baby brother. It came back to her, like being hit with a brick. Running, laughing, having fun. Ben was right behind her, running on his little legs, concerntration on his face as he tried to catch her. She skidded on the ice, laughing. just as their parents called to them to be quite, the ice cracked. Sasha spun, to grab Ben, but he fell into the water, as she herself did. The water knocked the breath out of her, yet she still tried to get to Ben. But the water washed over her. Somehow, she found herself on the ice. Tears fell, and she looked away, turning away, towards Lazarus. "help" she whispered.
Master Jamie, location: Earthland
Master Jamie was silent for a few moments after Karn asked that question. "Someone once told me that I shouldn't ask questions I don't want the answers to. My reply was Questions need to be asked, to let us grow. So" She turned to Karn, his expression blank. "yes, I knew Rian Darkwalker. I know a lot of people Karn. A lot of guilds have come and gone, as they try to bring a foothold into this magical world. Things happen. I do not know where Rian Darkwalker is, if that is your next question"

Lazarus was also shocked at what had happened next. He didn't know what to say. Being her close friend, Sasha had told him about her family, and its destruction. He clamored for a moment, trying to find his words. Eventually he embraced her and whispered those words. "Sometimes... its ok to be selfish. I know what you are feeling right now, but that little boy knows nothing else. He won't know why tear drip down your cheeks." He gripped tighter. "Right now Ben is calling for his sister. And that's you right?" He paused. "Go and see your brother. Let him fill the hole in your heart." He let go and smiled. Flicking his eyes towards Ben, telling her to go to him. He folded his arms and took a casual stance, before admiring this world's guild building.

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Outside the Council Building Interacting: Jamie
As he listened to the Guild Master, Karn thoughtfully frowned a little in thought. The blunt answer was, that Jamie knew her but had no idea where she currently was. Another dead end. He had hoped for some sort of clue, but to no avail. After searching everywhere for her, and finally coming to Phoenix Wing where she had told him to go, nothing. The young boy guessed he had little hope left and should just accept his fate. Still, he had a feeling she was alive, but she always seemed to have some sort of grand plan ready. Maybe she just grew tired of him or ran out of magic because of him? Perhaps that was alright then and he shouldn't be selfish. After all, she did so much for him, so if she didn't want to be found.. Maybe he should respect that.

[i]It was the middle of nowhere, among miles and miles of nothing but brown earth and rock. A small orange cat slowly padding along a dusty path, struggling to keep on all of its paws. The fur was ragged and filthy, and was nothing but skin and bones. Any energy or magic it had was gone, and a pathetic tired weak mewl before falling on its side. Emerald eyes tiredly stared at the empty wasteland, it felt so weak... It was dying. Instincts screamed that it was dying... And there was nothing it could do to fight it. Eyes slowly closing, it accepted its fate and waited as death embraced it. Ears twitching at the sound of thundering steps, it opened its eyes weakly to glance up to see a large creature. It looked a bit like a lion with its brown mane, but it was sabertoothed with black horns and scales and long flowing whiskers. Golden eyes staring down at the smaller feline and giving a soft little roar. The cat didn't have the energy to respond to this creature. Was it going to get eaten? The beast then lowered its head and sniffed the bundle of orange fur before opening its jaws and wrapped them around the cats waist and picked it up before starting off in a direction. The cat, thinking it was going to get eaten, closed its eyes again before losing consciousness. --- Everything was dark and painful, he could barely move. Was he dead? He couldn't see, he couldn't move in this darkness, and he tasted the rustic taste of blood. If he could taste things, then he was alive? It was then he heard a door freak open and some footsteps followed by voices, but he could barely make it out. "How...he?" a adult female asked. "N.... Good... Damn it, Rian! What are you thinking of bringing a wizard here?! You saw what happened with Chimera Flame after their star member left for ten years! I rather not have anything to do magic anymore! They'll exterminate all wizards! Especially one like this one! He's probably lost it! You should of just left him out there! Especially since your the last survivor and refuse to debrand!" "The guild may be gone, but its spirit lives on. Just because you forgot what it means, doesn't mean I have. He's a kid, and nowadays child Wizards don't have anyone to help them. I can't just leave him to die. Kid deserves to live his life as far as he can." "Well good luck with.... Die.... You idiot!" "Friendly as always." Unsure if he should open his eyes, his emerald eyes slowly open to find he was in a green forest. Blinking, he slowly sat up, pupils slitted like a cats and cautiously looking around. The blonde boy in brown rags then saw a large brown beast laying down by a tree, watching him. Instinctevly, the boy stood on his feet, fingers clenched tightly and growled and spat at the beast threatenly. Hissing like some feral animal and growled. The beast however simply stood up and gave a roar towards the right. Not too long, a black cloaked figure stepped out from behind some trees. They dropped guts hood to reveal a woman, with long black hair and golden colored eyes. The boy looked at her before snarling as she stepped closer. Kneeling down, the woman smiled softly. "Now calm down beast boy. It's alright. I'm here to help." she said gently and moved her right hand toward him. The boy cautiously looked at her before biting her hand, growling. Blood seeped from the injury, soaking his lips, but she didn't flinch as she used the other hand to wrap around him and stroked the mess of long blonde hair. "It's alright. I'm here. You're not alone anymore. I can help. But you need to calm down and relax." she said gently as she petted the young boy. Growling, the boy bit a little harder, before slowly relaxing against the gentle touch. Letting go and gently licking the injury he caused, eyes slowly returning to normal. A choking sob emitting from his throat. "Are you sane enough to remember your name?" the stranger asked gently. The boy glanced up at her before looking away, seeming to try to figure out what just happened. "...rrrr....mmmreow....uh.... K-Karn....." he managed to growl out before finally finding his voice again. A smile appeared on the strangers lips softly. "Karn. Nice to meet you. My name is Rian Deathwalker."
~Present~
Karn sighed softly but soon smiled brightly. "Well it was worth a shot I guess." he chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.
