About 30 seconds after Cirka had survived who he could only assume was Okuu's attack, his relaxing was cut short by a bonk on the head. He glanced up to see that pink monster from before who had stolen his sword. The nerve of this thing! Hitting him and taking his things! He would beat the cuteness out of her! If he felt like moving at all, which he didn't...
He sighed and pulled himself up a little, leaning on a block of ice he had constructed for support. She had asked him what was going on? Not before scolding him, though. "Eye totally know what's going on. One a' you guys' evil or something. Eye'm sure of it." The mystical youth said with both an exhaustion, and a sense of conviction. He was pretty sure he was supposed to fight someone. Even if he wasn't supposed to, that wouldn't stop him, but it'd be nice if goals lined up.
Cirka took a cursory glance around just to see what was what at the moment. Nero was still kicking luckily, groaning and moaning. Jack, (or, was he the mayor?) had taken off the ring, simply holding it for now. Some other people were talking, too. A weird girl to the side, just standing around doing nothing. And Chickenman, who was lying down. Also maybe dead? Suddenly, a bright flash had interrupted Cirka's train of thought.
"Oh my. I leave for five minutes, and you've managed to do all this?"
A short man, couldn't be more than four feet, had just appeared. Dressed in a labcoat and odd squiggly glasses, he gave off that 'quirky smart guy' vibe. A small badge with 'Hello, my name is; Eddy' was clipped to his coat. The boy silently wondered to himself if that was who he had to beat up, but he didn't want another bonk from the blob, and it still had not given him his sword back. So, he stood still as the professor-looking man gave his speech.
"Hm. Has Alton lost his life?" The nerd asked, pointing his finger to the fried chicken. He didn't wait for an answer to continue speaking. "In that case, you'll fill him in later. I, am Eddy Gadd, one of the first people to enter here. The multiverse. By magic and coincidence far out of my reach, you ten have been chosen to lead the charge against an evil villain by my program. The villain is named Eden, and it holds the power to corrupt, destroy, and reshape the multiverse. I ask you ten's help in stopping it. Or, moreso, I shanghai you into doing it. With Eden on the loose like this, him or one of his cronies will surely destroy you on the way out if you attempt to leave. My deepest apologies for that." He paused for a moment, a sincere expression on his face. "So, do you accept?"
Cirka grinned and shook his head, while simultaneously turning it to the puff. "Told you Eye had to beat someone up!" He shouted with glee. "Eye'm down!" He exclaimed to the important looking man.
