Amelia Payne

Location: Johnson Ave
Skills: Sneaking(x1), Athletics(x1)

Amelia was continuing to move east on autopilot almost, heading towards Hill street. Frankly she was tired, thinking was hard and moving was even harder. She lost friends, she didn't know if Riley was alive and that was just without the crushing fatigue that was currently eroding on her willpower to keep moving as they did.

“Nothing, Ray... just tired is all...” She mumbled a reply as the man asked how she was. There was also the new woman – Sam. She looked like a good enough person as she did help them out. Another set of hands and legs was a good thing considering the situation. Amelia looked about, looking for some kind of shelter they could use. The kind of shelter that didn't have the chance to crumble on top of their heads, but frankly it wasn't looking like it was happen.” I don't think there will be anything good enough within at least 5 miles of Newnan... the quake was quite strong and... yeah. We need to walk a lot more till we are on the green...” She stated, looking about as she moved with decent pace, sort of quietly enough.” Let's walk as long as we can... which probably won't be long before it's dark.” She said and pointed forward towards Hill street.” Maybe there we can see something better...” She added, not really wanting to be the pessimist, but frankly she just didn't care anymore.

'Please, Riley, be alright!' She begged in her mind, hoping it was going to all be fine. The survivalist policies were against them now. If they had not completely ransacked this place they would have a better chance... No it didn't matter no one could predict the earth would rebel like that.' Focus... focus!' She thought, finding her mind wandering into subjects far away form the current goal of survival.

Alexander Polawski

Location: Outside Eden, Golf Course: 8 treeline --> 7 treeline
Skills:Navigation x2

Everything was hot and wet; the napalm dropped on the village, sticking to every surface it could and burning with an evil intensity; the humid jungle that surrounded the village on all sides, clinging to your skin; the blood pouring out of wounds of the soldiers littering the battlefield; the sweat rolling down the radio-operators forehead. Everything, except the cold grip of the M1911, tightly clutched with his sweaty fingers. If anything could be described as Hell, this had to be it. Except the cold sensation of the gun was similar to the cold...of his feet.

Feet were wet, yes, but not cold in Soth-East Asia in the middle of combat during the summer.

His eyes shut tight, shut open and tight again a few times before remaining open. Alexander was back to where he was before; where he had to be. Resting his head in his hand for a few moments, Alexander had to take deep breaths. The flashbacks, they were returning at an alarming frequency, like when he...he had lost Her...No, he had to keep going.

Alexander looked across the open grounds of the gold course in front of him, his vision still hazy after...That. The patches of snow and ice littered the whole field. It was no wonder he'd fallen over as he did, especially without any spikes on his boots. But slow and surely, as the fog lifted from his eyes, he saw it; a path! He saw what he believed to be a few patches where the snow was thinning enough to be stepped through without slipping. He hoped so at least, because he had already wasted enough time sitting on his bum in that treeline.

He made a run for it. Axe still wielded in his hand, he took the first running steps out of the treeline and onto the snowy golf course. He had the path visualized before him, and did his best to place his running feet within said path. And it finally paid off. As he moved across the open ground between the two treelines, he saw another icy patch where he would certainly have slipped if he'd just made a straight sprint. But he had little time to celebrate his little victory, as he continued his run until he finally stood in the treeline at 7.

The treeline was similar in nature to what the old vet had just ran from, except that he didn't fall flat on his ass. To his surprise, the snowy ground covered up no underbrush or malignent forces that grabbed his feet in order to halt him. The only things that were holding him back there, were the trees themselves and Alexander's heavy breaths; he was far from being in great shape. But Gramps kept up his pace, pushing through the 7 treeline and coming to westward edge of it. In front of him was a similar landscape to what he had just traversed, but much bigger. Perhaps two or three times as wide. "...great..." Alexander muttered under his breaths, giving the open grounds a good look like before. As he scanned the grounds, he thought briefly that he perhaps had learned something useful back in 'Nam after all?

Alexander began to run, turning left and right as he saw which path would allow him to keep up the pace without falling. With every step he took, his heart beat faster of fear of taking a wrong step or being spotted by Eden. That, and him still being out of breath. The longer distance didn't help in that regard either. But Mugsy made it! Alexander leaned up against a tree as he tried to catch his breath, when he heard it; the sound of war. In the distance, muffled by the surrounding trees, he heard the unmistakable sound of an explosion. Had it been any other day, he would have tried to get the hell out of dodge, but this time Alexander smiled. "Give them hell, Kiwi." Alexander whispered, slowly getting back his breath as he tried to get back on track.

Now to find Thana and Thalia, and raise some Hell themselves.

Ash Holloway

Location: Outside of the Hordebuster, Sprayberry Rd, in front of train tracks
Skills: Knife

Ash found that he was in total agreement with Niesha. Desperate people would definitely do anything, even if it seems crazy. Her follow up was sobering in its own, massively accurate way, reflected in the sincerity of Ash's response. "Yeah. Yeah we do." Of course he knew about crazy. He'd been swimming in it for a while now, to the point that accepting his dysfunction was the best way to continue holding himself together, and by extension, holding his people together. He had a lot fewer people now, obviously. But the voice inside of his head was still present and/or accounted for, sir. It was part of him. Sometimes he wondered if, during those times that it was quiet for an extended period, the it was actually the dominant force behind the wheel of his consciousness. It was the part of him that was pure, logical soldier after all. Of course, that's where the idea fell apart. It had been a while since he'd heard the voice-that-was-him, and he was under a lot of tense stress. This would be the ideal time for the voice to take over, were it to. Yet here he was, wondering if his persona was being diverted by a chunk of his own psyche.

Nope. He was still a little crazy. But functionally so.

He didn't flinch when Niesha's arrow sailed past him, taking out one of the Dead approaching him. He had instructed them not to use bullets unless they had to, and true to word she did not. As she crossed the distance from the Hordebuster to his location, he gave an affirming nod. It was a clean, one shot takedown that he couldn't have done any better, personally. When she offered to handle the second one, he shook his head. "No ma'am, I've got this one." Maybe she knew that he needed to engage in a little stress relief, and merely offered as a formality. Ash tightened the underhand grip on his knife and took a couple steps forward, presenting a closer target for the attention of the shambling corpse walking up to them. He waited for a few seconds until the thing was upon him, dug in his heels for a traction, and hammered the blade of his knife into and back out of one of its eye sockets in a solid, utilitarian motion. It dropped to his feet like a rag doll.

About that time, Ash heard the sounds of Riley's minor misadventure. He looked back to make sure she wasn't hurt, then turned his eyes back to his initial goal - scouting the obstacle. "Give me some cover then, Niesha. Approach at a wide arc. Riley? Please secure the 'Buster. No uninvited guests, living or dead."

Thalia Carmichael

Location: Near Eden, Golf Course (14 -> 15)
Skills: Stealth, Survival

Thana wasn't there. She must have continued ahead, which means that either Thana got a little ahead of herself, or Thalia was late to the party. She wasn't the type to be fashionably late for anything. Hell, she wasn't usually a fan of being particularly fashionable. Or late. Or alone in hostile territory when she was supposed to be with a group. This was not the plan. Her mind flashed back to a movie she caught just before the world imploded, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Thalia hadn't read the books, but she had meant to, eventually. She was particularly fond of the part when Slartibartfast mentioned to Dentarthurdent, "Best laid plans of mice, and all that." It seemed fitting.

So again, the direction was south. Other options put her out in the open, or into a lake. She moved quickly and quietly, keeping the water to the right of her, steadily toward Eden proper. Or what she calculated must be Eden proper. Hopefully, she would meet up with the rest of her group and go a'hunting. She wished she had her uncle's ability to track. It wasn't something she took particular interest in back before, being as she was mostly an urban sort of girl. Wires and circuits, take out Chinese food, DVRing "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" (not that she'd ever admit that last one out loud); these were her areas of interest when not boxing or working in her office. Had she known that this highly inconvenient Apocalypse was going to happen, she would have very likely paid better attention in Girl Scouts. Or attended Girl Scouts. Lord knows she could go for some Thin Mints right about then.

She shook off thoughts about cookies and things that used to be, settling back into her present, horrifying reality and the reason she was participating in an assault on these people. She wasn't the rude, antisocial urbanite she was four or five years ago. No, she was the rude, antisocial survivor of today. At least for right now, as the day wasn't over yet. Lots could go wrong. And speaking of going wrong, Thalia's path was suddenly blocked by a large, flat, reaching WALL. It might have been expected - it let her know that she had arrived. But still, Thana wasn't there, either. This was mildly annoying. Scanning her surroundings, Thalia looked for a way over, around, or through this obstacle, as Thana must have.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a startling BOOM, sounding from a distance. That was the signal. It was Game On. Thalia had to get past that wall while attention was diverted. She looked about with urgency, trying to locate her ticket inside quietly.

Niesha Burkstein

Location: the Hoardbuster
Skills:N/A

Niesha looked behind them towards the Hoardbuster, seeing that Riley was having some difficulty standing. Watching her, Niesha gave her a smile when all seemed okay, even if Riley’s movements were a little comical. ”You okay Riley? That seemed oddly cartoonish.” She said in a light voice. She knew she shouldn’t be treating all this with a jovial heart, but after everything, being a light light-hearted was actually quite… relieving. Or maybe she was just bat crap crazy. Who knew? She looked back to Ash, and smiled. ”Alright.” she said, shifting her bow to be ready to use it. It felt like forever since she had been called Ma’am, and she wondered if Ash was alright.

Well, they all weren’t alright… pushing that thought aside, she turned her attention to what they needed to do, watching Ash toy with the undead, bringing it closer until he could stab his knife into the things skull. As it dropped, she relaxed slightly. They could do this… they could survive. They could find other survivors… it was going to happen. She just had to keep thinking like that. She turned towards Ash and nodded at his orders. She could give him cover fire. Shifting her stance slightly, she knocked an arrow, ready to fire if she needed to.

She glanced about them, seeking any sign of walkers. She was no longer worried about the living- if they were around, surely they would have seen some sign of them already. And there wasn’t much they could do about living anyway. She turned her attention to covering Ash, the bow ready to use.

Tiffany Lyle

Location: Walking Towards Arnco Mills

Tiffany took the hand offered her as she stood up and brushed herself off of Walker bits. She took a long look around her. There were no immediate threats they needed to worry about, but they would have to find someplace to spend the night. The buildings around them were destroyed and not a guaranteed safe place to rest. However, there was more to the town than these buildings. Perhaps they could find something towards the center.

"Let's find a place to rest then. Nothing around here seems to be up for it." Tiffany began walking towards the center of town, hand near her knife in case one of the Walkers got too close. She brushed too closely with them for her to be able to rest easy and she knew if it came down to it, her exhaustion would be the death of her. She had Jack to rely on, thankfully. She couldn't imagine going through all of this alone.

Update

Alright, Eden map has been updated. Please remember to post EXACTLY where you are in your header. Not where you are headed. Also, when you request a roll you HAVE to give me all the information. I am ignoring rolls from now on without all the information. I won't even tell you it is wrong now. It is listed out with examples provided in the Zeroth post now.

Eden

Location: Eden: 18 -> 22, Tank, Near Bridge Road
Skills: Survival, Tank Operations, Land Navigation, People Reading

Well Eden knew they were there now. It wasn't every day that someone came rolling up to the place, much less in a tank firing and blowing up their walls. Adamm had expected that Newnan might come at them one day, it never really settled with him that they would just let things go. Hell he wasn't. Even though Zoie was dead he was just buying his time. Yet what was rolling up on Eden from what he knew was NOT Newnan. Newnan didn't have a tank. He knew they didn't have a fucking tank. He knew.

Yet, there was Lola rolling up in her tank and Beatrice firing a large hole in the wall on the north side bridge. Effectively opening up a way in for them. Lola grinned from ear to ear as she kept pushing forward. "Aces mate. Reload if ya haven't and be ready. Think that hole is big enough for us for now. Better hold off until we get closer," she said as she drove.

Gavin laughed as the shot tore through the wall and took out an Eden scumbag. "Oh that be as sweet as cornbread smothered with honey," he said to himself. Looking through the scope he kept an eye out. He wanted to move behind the tank and come up slowly but he held position right then. He swore he saw movement over on the lakes edge on both sides of the wall there. He wasn't sure where Thana was right then so he held position to make sure any of their folks coming in from that area were in the clear.

Thana kept low and looked around slowly, scooping out the area as best she could. She was within the wall and every military fiber in her being was screaming at her to hold position and wait for the others. They were to do this together. Yet there was a rogue aspect about her, the same that once ran through her sister. They were twins, they were identical. Circumstances had been what made them different but at the base they were the same and that same jump before you look ran heavily through both their veins.

From where each person that was attacking Eden was, other than the few on the wall that was just blown, no one else could be seen on the Eden grounds. At least for now. One was speaking into a walkie talkie but with the big badda boom that just occurred there was no way in hell anyone knew what was being said. Hell the smoke and rubble that was kicked up one couldn't even attempt to read lips if they were able to. But hey at least one was dead from what they could see coming in on the bridge. So that was something.

Lola looked and rose her brows. These idiots that were left either on the bridge or on the ground now that were still alive were actually taking aim at the tank. And firing. "Wow, that's fucking dumb," she said as she chuckled. She could hear the bullets hitting the tank. It sounded like little marbles clinking away against the steel. "Think we pissed them off?" she laughed as the sound kept clinking away.

Gavin had seen some stupid things in his time. Really stupid things. Like a drunken cowboy trying to rope a ride a turkey on Thanksgiving. Oh wait, that was him. But either way. That still wasn't as stupid as a couple of idiots trying to shoot down a tank with pistols. That was a whole new level of cheese slipped off ones cracker. Sure, it was better to fight than flee most of the time but it was a goddamn tank - they had a better chance of out running it than breaching the steel with 9mm....

Thana didn't know what was going on, all she knew was that genes over rid common sense even for her right then as she dashed forward from where she was. Straight across an open road, straight across an open green and right into the woods on the other side. Apparently stupid paid off for her at least right then because she made it. Whether or not she had been noticed, she had no idea. All she knew was that she was that much closer to the building she had been told was where the Eden people called home.

Samira

Location: Johnson Avenue, Newnan
Skills: Areobic and Anaerobic Capacity

5 miles? Sam thought quietly, as she didn't want to voice her disappointment. Well, 5 miles isn't so bad. I usually run it in under 40 minutes, so walking distance would take twice that. Sam didn't factor in the snow and ice and the fact that they were all injured and exhausted. She couldn't quite decide how much time it would take them to make it to safety, or when the sun would set. "Well, let's get as far as we can and we'll make do with what we have." Sam soldiered on quietly, hissing every few steps and cursing under her breath at the constant pain in her ribs.

She wished her father was there with them, he would know what to do. Sam missed him immensely. There was something about her father's presence that made her feel safe and confident. Even if the firefighter had her fair share of confidence, there was a tiny part of her missing from his absence. She only hoped he found shelter somewhere safe and that she would see him again soon.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Sprayberry Rd.
Skills: None

Riley managed to finally get her footing down, as she looked towards Niesha and gave her a slight nod rubbing the back of her neck slightly a little bit embarrassed. "My pride's hurt other then that just peachy." Riley said jokingly as she looked around the area before them. Crossbow in hand as she made sure that it would be ready to fire if it came down to it, and knife in one hand as well, she moved the strap to her crossbow over her back so that it was resting against it. She watched as Ashton took down the second walker that was close by, seeing it's body going limp the moment that Ashton managed to kill the poor bastard that ended up dying.

Her attention turned towards him and gave him a slightly sarcastic salute as she brought her crossbow back over her shoulder again, ready for just about anything. "Aye, aye Captain Tightass." Riley said with a slight smile as her attention went up and down the road, there weren't that many walkers currently. But she kept her eyes trained on Ashton and Niesha for a long while before turning back to her surroundings, Riley certainly wasn't expecting this day to be an utter and complete shit show.

Riley shuddered for a moment as an image of watching Chloe dying in her arms again. Looking down at her slightly bloodied clothes, she sighed slightly trying to get those thoughts out of her head now, she just wanted to focus more on getting to a safe and secure location, she really hoped that Amelia was completely alright and she did make it out alive, her hand lightly reaching for the cross for a moment before letting go of it and setting it back into her pocket.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Johnson Ave.
Skills: Stealth (Ninja)

Raymond decided to follow the roads and using them as landmarkers were a good way to go, as he decided to head south on Johnson Avenue, then head onto Mary Ann Street from there. Ray remained pretty quiet as he looked around the area, they wouldn't be able to find shelter just yet which was bothering him a little bit. "We should at least find a spot to lay low once the sun goes down." Ray said looking between Amelia and Sam as well. Ray's mind started to wonder how many survivors actually had made it out, his mind went back to Tiffany the only person that he truly did care for in this world.

He didn't see any walkers that were near them, which was a good sign at least they were most likely heading towards the epicenter of the sudden destruction of Newnan. Ray really did miss his home that he had with Tiffany, and that comfy bed that they had shared the night before. Ray closed his eyes letting out a slight sigh before continuing down Johnson Avenue.

Alexander Polawski

Location: Outside Eden, Golf Course: 6 --> 15
Skills:Navigation

Even for the fair dose of pain in the ass trees had given him by now, Alexander was starting to feel confident that he wasn't going to fall into a Viet Cong bamboo trap anytime soon...no, wrong habitat; underbrush, man-made or not. The bigger problem in the woods was to go the right direction. Sure he had to run across open fields of snow and ice, but there he had visibility on where he was going, which was more difficult now that he looked into the woods he now entered.

Alexander tried his best to look ahead, watching for any paths or clear signs of an easier path as he made his way into the woods, doing his best not to fall over a branch or something stupid like that: "Being stupid gets you killed, you idiot." Jackson told them over and over again many years ago, and perhaps there was some merit in it? Then again, Alexander was walking there alive and well - as well as one could be during an apocalypse -, while Jackson was long dead. It was best not to think about it. Alexander made his way to a road going through the woods, looking forward to make out the best route.

What he didn't see until it was too late, was a walker catching sight of him from down the road, which gave pursuit. Alexander, quickly making his way over the road and into the woods, saw it lumbering towards him just as he made it across. "Well shit." Alexander swore under his breath, making it into the woods again. He wanted to run and get as far away from the walker as possible, but he couldn't. Did he run too recklessly away from it, he knew he'd get lost and really screw up their plan. No, he had to get to Thana and Thalia, and either fix the problem before or after that. So he kept stepping over branches and roots, zick-zacking between trees and heading south to the best of his abilities, while keeping the walker some distance away from him.

But in the unlikely turn of events, he finally saw something he thought wasn't going to give him more trouble, or somone. Hopefully. Thalia.

Beatrice Decker

Location: in a TANK
Skills: None

"Already done," Beatrice replied confidently. The first thing she had done after fire off the shot - besides feel a rush - was get the next shell loaded in. Now, all there was left for her to do was to wait for the next target to come into range. It was absolutely incredible, manning the gun of a tank. Not only could she cause such beautiful destruction, but they were incredibly safe and protected in the tank as well. She didn't know much about tanks, but she had to guess that the biggest threat to a tank was another tank.

Beatrice chuckled slightly as she realized the small little pangs were bullets. It sounded like moderately large hail hitting the roof of a car to her. "Definitely. But hey, the more bullets they waste on the tank, the less ammunition they'll have for those on the ground," Beatrice pointed out. She was already itching to fire on the next target - something that was usually unlike her. She never had any feelings of bloodlust. Maybe it was just a little bit of the weirdness of the day - maybe it was her way of honoring James and Ryan. Or maybe it was just something that had been lurking under the surface for a long time. The thing is - Beatrice knew that she could have survived in Eden. She didn't have the strong moralistic compass that most people in Newnan had.

She was on the side of the angels - but that didn't mean she was one of them.

Jack Hudson

Location: Duncan Street - Headed North, near the Mt. Zion Church
Skills: None

Jack nodded in agreement. But truthfully, what else could he do or say? The earth had swallowed Newnan whole, there was a near army of walkers going in towards the area, and his wife (and child) were either missing or dead. He couldn't decide which one would have been better. As much as he tried to keep on putting one foot in front of the other, he could only just barely keep his emotions locked away behind a dam. He could practically hear Tatiana scolding him for that - using her skills as a counselor to tell him that it was okay to feel everything he was feeling.

But it would be so much easier to just give up - to just lie down and let whatever happened happen. He took a centering breath for a moment - it wouldn't be fair to anyone if he did that. It wouldn't be fair to Tatiana, his kid, his Newnan family, or hell, even Tiffany. Even if he had to just keep on going for the person immediately next to him, then it'd be enough of a motivator for him. Just enough to help him keep on walking towards their goal - towards the bug out location. And if he was lucky enough, maybe Tatiana would be there waiting for him - maybe she had made it out of Newnan alive.

He never really was one for religion. Sure, he would celebrate Hanukkah and Yom Kippur with his mom - but he rarely ever went to temple. But if Tatiana made it through this okay, then maybe there really was someone out there watching over him.

Amelia Payne

Location: Johnson Ave
Skills: Sneaking(x1), Athletics(x1)

Amelia's mind was trying to get into high gear and process everything, but it was just so hard to think through the fatigue. Every muscle in her body was screaming to rest, but she had to continue still. It was in a weird way it was a method to train one's body, but she couldn't think about that. All she wanted was that rest, to get to a bed ideally and then fall asleep. She was still hoping in the back of her mind that it was all one great nightmare she'd wake up from in her bed. See Riley after she wakes up, go and get a meal with everyone.

“...” Amelia didn't even react to the words from Sam and Ray as they commented on simple courses of action like that. She had at least realized that the wouldn't be heading east now, but south instead towards Mary Ann street. So had found herself making a surprisingly sharp turn as she headed south instead. With one hand she held the bottle of water form Ray and with the other she held the baseball bat still. With that and tired gait, she walked east, somehow managing to overtake Ray as she did. A feat she barely registered actually. At least she was quiet enough, considering. Why did this place have to be so run down... weather... humanity shoddy construction and then the tremors.' I want to rest...' She thought, focusing on her steps, trying to keep up proper walking pace.

Samira

Location: Mary Ann Street, Newnan
Skills: Anaerobic and Aerobic Capacity, Scavenging

At this point, Sam had no idea how her sore legs covered in cuts and bruises was still able to carry her ass across the street, but somehow they did. She had started to dream about a big juicy burger two streets down, now she imagined the full combo, super-sized. She could almost smell it, and it made her mouth water for a moment. The small game and protein bar she had been living on gave her energy, but that's about it. Taste-wise, it was pretty horrible. She wished she would have packed salt and pepper when the outbreak started, but those luxuries were all distant memories, burger included.

Sam took a moment to watch her surroundings and scan the backyards and wrecked cars for something useful, but unfortunately just as Ray and Amelia had both stated earlier, everything had been picked clean. She wondered if Miami had reached this state of decay yet, if there were still people holding up there, and if perhaps her father had gone map. He had their map after all, and having good nav skills he would know how to go back. She just wished she could communicate with him somehow. She decided if things didn't work out here, she'd go back to Florida. Perhaps her friends would enjoy the warmth over this icy terrain of death, but that wasn't even planned B right now. It might be close to plan D.

Ash Holloway

Location: Outside of the Hordebuster, Sprayberry Rd, in front of train tracks
Skills: N/A

"Aye aye, Captain Tightass"? Ash tilted his head back in Riley's direction, giving the slightest questioning glance at her. He had heard this muttered under her breath some several times back in Newnan, and had let it slide on account of various factors. Her difficulty with authority was well noted and she needed some time to adapt to her new surroundings. Truth be told, he hadn't expected much different from her, considering her celebrity status from Before. So long as she did her job well and wasn't overtly insubordinate, Ash was willing to deal with her tiny bouts of sarcasm.

That was when there was a Newnan, however. As of that day, there weren't even two bricks piled on top on one another that could pass as a former settlement. They were on their own, without so much as a secure base camp. The concept of Ash still being a Captain over anyone was supported only by the rank insignia on his patrol cap and in his pocket, right next to Leann's old Lieutenant Colonel's oak leaves. Maybe one day when he felt less ethical, he'd attach those to his lapel and cap, then proceed to refer to himself as Colonel Ashton J. Holloway. Or not. The thought was fleeting and silly. Just like Riley's comment to him a moment ago.

"Ridgeway?" he remarked quietly, trying to get her attention, "Highly inappropriate. 'Aye Aye' is Navy. I'm an Army man." From his tone, it was difficult to tell if he was joking or being serious. One might assume it was a dry attempt at humor, even sarcasm of his own coloring the air. He had a talent for sarcasm, once upon a time. Still did, but it rarely left his mouth anymore. Reality had suppressed it somewhat. What it had heightened was his survival instincts, however, which he intended to delve into over the next few minutes, circumventing the roadblock and keeping his own posterior intact.

The thought occurred to him, and not for the first time, that maybe their efforts would have been better put to use helping Thana's group with Eden. But he had his own job to do now, as bitter a pill as it was sometimes.

Thalia Carmichael

Location: Near Eden, Golf Course (15 -> Other side of wall from 15)
Skills: Stealth, Survival

Okay. Thalia had his. She was quick, she was strong, she was motivated. This was a wall, literally a vertical obstacle to overcome. This was nothing. She'd seen some parkour videos on YouTube, back when there was a YouTube. It seemed easy enough for those skinny beardo guys with man-buns to pull off such an ascent, and she was pretty confident that she could beat the crap out of guys like that, up close and bareknuckle, quick, dirty, and quiet. Yeah. Thalia had this.

The enigmatic Miss Carmichael took a step or two back; just enough to get a few quick taps on the ground before launching herself up along the side of the obstacle as a swift, controlled ascent. She made quiet connection with supports, to pivot and push off of it to make solid connection with the next. Unfortunately, Thalia completely forgot that parkour was an acquired skill, not a thing one may just step into like a comfortable bathrobe. This lesson was sorely learned as she found herself promptly hurled toward the ground from about seven feet up, gravity claiming dominion over the situation with iron resolve. Luckily, her butt broke her fall. Inertia shoved Thalia on her back, shield first. The handle made an interesting impression near her spine, promising to make a tender mark in the near future.

Thalia lay there for a second, then noticing Alexander's approach. Wordlessly, she raised a finger in the air and shot the veteran soldier a harsh look approximating "not a word, old man" before pushing herself off of the ground. She looked at the wall with fresh eyes, and pondered another way past it.

It was inevitable, of course, that she have to get in the water. She tried to avoid it, considering the season. But she had to get in that place. The first, impressive round from the tank had gone off, signalling the sneak attack from the flank. Their already tiny group was short a person - the other person with actual military training - and nightfall was approaching. With haste, Thalia untied her hiking boots and cuffed up her jeans as high as she could, then ventured into the water to the right of her, her footwear laced together over her shoulder. She had no idea if it would help in the slightest.

The water was cold. Damn cold, influenced by the season and the melting snow. If they managed to actually do this, she was definitely scrounging up a new pair of pants from the wreckage. That was a trail of "ifs" to follow, and she had barely made her first steps down it. Thalia hugged the wall on her approach, quieting as best as possible as she neared the edge. There was little to be done about the spreading numbness in her legs until she found dry ground and warm environs to recover, else she gets some adrenaline going. The latter seemed more likely. She was almost around when she snagged on something in the water. If it was a foot trap then it was long neglected, but it was something, and it took more than a little quiet struggling before she pulled free. Then finally she was at the edge.

Peering around, Thalia saw a line of trees coming up to the water's edge. This wall was apparently constructed with Zeds in mind, moreso than people. Perhaps it was a favorable sign. As quickly as she could, Thalia traversed the open space on the other side of the wall to solid ground, unrolled her wet jeans, and threw her boots back on. It didn't seem like anyone took notice of her yet, and she aimed to keep it that way. She hunkered in the trees, pistol at ready, and took a quick look around.

Tiffany Lyle

Location: Heading Out of Town
Skills: N/A

Tiffany walked forward. She was sure they were heading in the right direction. Although the buildings nearby were broken down and definitely not habitable for their pursuits, she knew going forward they would be able to find something. Was the damage around her caused by Newnan's destruction? If so, they were lucky to be walking out of it alive.

What gave her some semblance of hope was during her time outside of Newnan's walls. Before this chaos, she remembered that there were cars around with keys hidden. If they could scrounge some gas up and find a workable one, they could make their way to a home for the night, which would be a mile or two out.

"There should be some cars coming up with keys hidden around town. We can probably find one and gather enough gas to get us to a safe house, at least. I remember that from my time before I got into Newnan." She hoped with all she had they would find something soon. She was getting tired. Even more tired.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Sprayberry Rd.
Skills: None

Riley looked towards Ashton for a moment, when he called her by her last name she really hated when her last name was addressed rather than her first name. But he was her boss so she did have to let him call her that if needed, even if she didn't really show it Riley did respect the man, but it did remind her of her father as well, the name was incredibly bossy and controlling everything that the family did. "What would the proper saying be then whoraah?" Riley asked softly enough so that he could hear, and not to draw any attention to walkers or the living that could be nearby. Riley's hand went into her pocket lightly holding that cross that Chloe had on her before she died once more.

Riley would watch Niesha who was walking along next to the bossman, Riley would then turn her attention behind them, she ran a hand through her hair letting out a slight sigh. Riley started to pick at her nails, still her attention was alert to things that were around them. She really did miss Amelia as her thoughts went back to her girlfriend again, she didn't think that she'd fall for anyone in the outbreak. "I hope your okay Amelia.." Riley said quietly to herself,

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Mary Ann Street.
Skills: People Reading

Raymond started to lag behind on the girls, his leg was feeling a little bit heavy for being on the run for so long today which was making him breath and grunt to himself. He noticed that Amelia walked past him as they turned up on Mary Ann Street, this was really unideal for him. They were all injured, sore, tired, hungry, he looked at Amelia, he could tell she was feeling it most likely the most out of them all she did drag his ass through the rubble of the Newnan Wall after all.

Ray's eyes then turned towards Sam, she to was incredibly exhausted as well he could easily tell that she was in a lot of pain as well from the slip'n slide to. He could also tell that she was hungry, looking towards his pack he thought about pulling out an MRE from there. But decided against it, they weren't in a safe location there weren't walkers nearby as far as he could tell.

Alexander Polawski

Location: Outside Eden, 15
Skills:Axe fighting

Alexander wasn't sure whether to laugh or worry when he actually saw what Thalia. She sat on the ground as if she'd atempted to climb the wall and promptly fallen down. At least he thought so, perhaps only because of the look she gave him. Yup, that was the same type of look she'd given him several times that day already, and he could only assume it meant something serious like she was going to kill him or he should shut up with his asocial comment. For now Alexander went for both, before remembering something very important.

There was a walker right on his tail.

The Vet turned around and saw the shambling corpse get closer to him. Within the short amount of time he had left to think, he saw two options: 1) Try to get past the wall and continue the mission but run the risk of getting his ancles bitten like some Irish beer or Norwegian viking, or 2) Take out the walker now and deal with the wall later. The second option became the plan as soon as the walker got within grabbing distance, as Alexander tried to push it back using the shaft of his fire axe.

Normally that was a good idea, except that Alexander simply pushed the walker into a tree just behind it, which meant the walker was soon right back at trying to grab the old Vet, and he himself was at the risk of falling over something. With both his hands at each end of the axe, he held the shaft against the walkers arms, keeping it from grabbing it. Barely. Alexander kept quiet as best he could as he held back the walker, but mentally he just kept repeating the same word over and over again; "Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!" If he kept going like this, he would more and more time he didn't have. He had to act now, or else...

Moving swiftly - for an old man - Alexander pushed the walker back one last time and pull back his axe from it, before raising it high up in front of the walker. And then he let it fall down, hard. It was not a pretty sound to hear, and certainly not a pretty one to behold. The axe cleaved its way into the walkers skull just above the left eye, nearly popping the eyeball. But more importantly, its arms stopped their clinging assault towards him, slumping to the ground with the axe still stuck in its head. But it was dead...as dead as the undead could be.

Alexander stood over the body for a few moments, his chest heaving with every breath he made. This was the closest he had been to death in a long time. But for now, he was alive, and needed to get going. Still holding the axe tight, he put his boot against the head of the walker and pulled the axe out. He had to find Thalia again, because when he turned around, she was gone. And there was only one option that seemed sensible then; the other side of the wall.

Update

Please remember to update your locations in your header with roads and such. (Remember heading to, on the way to, etc general locations are NOT accepted. I need information in your headers to keep the maps updated as quickly as possible.)

Newnan Folk - Do me a favor and get to the end of your maps as quickly as you can. You don't need rolls from me currently unless you are wanting something special, something outside of the box, etc. So you should be able to knock this out without issue. Make sure to refer to the maps for placement of ice and walkers. (If you go passed a walker without word in your post, LLA will bite you in the ass. >.>) - let me know via tag in chat when everyone in your group is at the end of your current map. (We will be getting new maps as soon as you do.)

Eden folk - there are yellow dots on your map now - those are Eden asshats - they will be tougher to kill and will require a roll if you come up to one. Just drop me a line real fast saying you want a fight roll. It will be quick and easy.

Eden

Location: Eden: , Tank on Bridge Road, Behind the Tank on Bridge Road
Skills: Survival, Tank Operations, Land Navigation, Hunting, Rifle, Sniper Rifle

Thana knelt down and ducked under the shrubbery, looking out towards the main building. It seemed that Lola had made herself known. At least she knew that one of the trio of the splinter group was still alive. Granted if Lola was alive there was a decent chance in her mind that Beatrice and Gavin were still kicking. Things had been pretty quiet until that point but now she heard the sounds of gun firing out.

It was amazing just how far and clear noises traveled now adays. Before the breakout, before the world had gotten turned on its side, it was hard to hear anything that wasn't close to you. The background noises most didn't pay attention to really did cause a lot of noise pollution. Cars and trucks on the highway. Airplanes over head. Just the gentle hum of electricity could cut down on a lot of just general nature sounds and drown out water running. That wasn't exactly an issue right now. Everything was pretty simple to be heard.

Lola of course couldn't hear shit in the tank besides the tank and Beatrice. "Aces mate, I like the way you think," she laughed as Beatrice mentioned they were just wasting bullets on the tank. Driving the tank forward she kept it at a slower pace. She had spotted Gavin coming up to the side of the tank and then falling back as she drove through the blown open hole in the wall. She figured instead of gunning it, it would be better to keep a slower pace he could keep up with on foot. At least then he had some cover.

Gavin was glad she did. It made it easier for him to slip up behind the tank and do just that. Using the monster of machinery as cover as he took aim. He didn't kill anyone yet. Not being able to get a clear shot. Yet it was good to keep an eye open. Mostly just to try to see if he could see any of the others. He knew Lola and Beatrice were safe in the tank for now. But Thana, Thalia, and Alex were another story. He didn't know where they were.

Taking a breath Thana was about to dash out from under the brush but she ended up holding position as she spotted a few starting to pour out of the Eden main house. Seemed their attention was gotten that was for sure. This was going to get interesting really fast. She wanted to charge but something in her told her to hold her position. Turning around she glanced behind her. She would wait another few before she made a move. Just in case Thalia or Alex caught up with her. It seemed clear behind her from what she could see but for all she knew someone was hiding in the bushes just out of sight like she was.

"Wonder if the other mates have made it passed the wall," Lola wondered out loud as she leaned back in her seat and pulled out some lip gloss. splashing it across her lips and puckering up. Just because she was in the middle of war she really had no stake in, didn't mean a girl should let her lip stick be all faded and smudged. Lola was just like that, granted it wasn't all just because she was as weird as they came. Part of it was a distraction so her mind didn't ponder if Thalia had bit the big one because that would really suck to lose her tank mate.

Gavin grinned as he spotted in the woods Thalia. At least one had made it over the wall. It gave him hope that Strawberry had made it over as well. He couldn't find her yet but seeing one was better than seeing none. No, Strawberry was fine. She was military. This was war. She could handle this. She had survived this long, he knew she would survive today. There was no way in hell that god was going to bring the Texan back to his angel and then take her away. Nope, baby Jesus was going to be good to them today. He just knew it.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Tank on Bridge Road
Skills: Tracking/Stalking, Tank Gunner Amateur

With the tank already reloaded, there wasn't much for Beatrice to do beyond check out their surroundings from the scope and wait for the next volley she needed to fire off. She noticed that they were moving a bit more slowly and imagined it was likely to help out the Cowboy. They were functioning as both a giant target and a giant shield - one of the more versatile features of this rolling hunk of metal, she imagined. She couldn't help but wonder what the gangs in Justice would've given to have a tank. Though come to think of it, she wouldn't have been that surprised if one of the gangs did have one. It seemed right up their alley.

"Thanks," Beatrice said curtly, giving a small smile to Lola. "For what it's worth, your special brand of crazy reminds me of home - so thanks for that." While some people would have meant your crazy ass reminds me of Justice as an insult, it was a compliment to Beatrice. The only other person she had met during the outbreak that met that profile had been Ryan - and he was six feet (or more) under. She was keeping a vague eye on what was going on through the scope, but it'd be a bit until it was time to unleash the next wave of violence.

And besides, there was no point in wasting ammo - that was Eden's specialty, after all. "Hmm... I think at least one of them would have by now. Logistically speaking, my money's on Navy Blue," Beatrice said. She used to stalk and track people for a living. Getting a rough idea of how much ground they could cover in a given area was one of her specialties. And to her, Thana was the obvious choice to get through the wall, if any of them did. Cowboy would probably fall into more of a support position. Thalia would be faster than the old man she imagined - age was a bitch when it came to physical condition.

"How long do you think it'll be till they stop firing bullets at us?" Beatrice mused. The people of Eden may have been cruel - but from what she could see, they were idiots. No wonder Ryan left.

Jack Hudson

Location: Duncan Street ---> Parking Lot Behind the Mt. Zion Methodist Church
Skills: Survival

Jack nodded for a moment, pausing as he did a double take at the church to his left. There was a walker behind them, as well as a few in front. Thankfully, they weren't close enough to be a problem just yet. They had a clear path to their left - one that would allow them to get to the church parking lot. If they were lucky, there'd be a car there with a working engine and keys. If not, they could continue up what looked like a side street - maybe they'd hit a residential area. At any rate, he wanted to get off of Duncan Street. Too many walkers for his tastes.

"C'mon, there's a pahkin' lot back there," Jack pointed out. He motioned towards the Methodist Church and began to carefully make his way in that direction. There was a little bit of ice that hadn't melted yet, but he kept it safe, moving slowly yet methodically. By the time he got through the ice and made it to the parking lot, he let out a slight sigh of relief. He really didn't want to fall on his ass again today.

"Hopefully one of the cahs look goods to ya," Jack said as he rounded the corner, coming into view of the small lot. If they were lucky, there'd be a car there - and one that wasn't horrible at that.

Amelia Payne

Location: Mary Ann St.
Skills: Sneaking, Athletics

'What time is it? How long have we been walking?' Amelia vaguely wondered as she walked forward and forward almost on autopilot really. She moved her feet, but barely registered any feeling from the act anymore. She breathed heavily, somehow keeping decent enough pace for the moment and alright noise levels, probably not attracting too much attention, but for the luck of them at least for the moment there was nary a walker in sight. So at least that was going for them which was good.

Since they had reached Mary Ann, the next step was to reach the connection with Price street. From there they could follow it south and then continue onward without issues across MLK. Thus Amelia stepped forward, but they were on a huge patch of ice. Hell it was all around and was probably going to make things harder so she huffed and prepared to move as good as the ice allowed her to, but stopped in her place after the single step and looked south. She didn't really even turning to look at the others, she could barely focus, but Amelia realized they didn't have to use Price street really.” Let's cut here... south. Should save time.” She mumbled, and turned and properly started walking south instead of East towards Price. She directly started walking south through the backyards towards MLK, making alright distance considering the situation, until she found herself just between the south end of the two buildings.

Samira

Location: Mary Ann Street, Newnan
Skills: Anaerobic and Aerobic Capacity

Sam's shoes crunched on the snow below her feet, each step was careful as she knew this terrain was extremely treacherous. She barely registered Amelia's voice over her own ragged breathing - it felt like they had been moving through these backyards for days. At least, that's what her body's aches and pains were telling her. More like screaming at this point. "Aye aye, Captain." Sam breathed with a really lazy two-finger salute that Amelia wouldn't see anyways since she was leading the pack. She clutched to her axe still, it didn't seem like many walkers roamed around too close to them but Sam had promised Amelia to take care of the next one that got too close and she'd uphold that promise no matter how tired she was.
