Personality: Chloe has become a lot more blunt and carefree than she was in high school. She's developed a bit of a "give 'em hell" attitude, constantly cracking jokes and being defiant in general. She's also obsessive, something that once helped her achieve straight As, but now is causing her to become more and more susceptible to drugs. Addiction comes easy to her. Of course, that doesn't mean she isn't witty and clever--she's incredibly smart, but she doesn't always use her brains for the best purpose now.
She's also incredibly sensitive, needing to please people. This caused her drive to do what her parents wished, becoming the perfect child while her sister became the trouble child. Prison caused her to grow a bit of a tough and snarky cover for this, but she still craves that acceptance, and can easily be hurt by criticisms. She hides her pain and fears behind humor, searching constantly for something that will truly make the pain and heartache stop, no matter the cost. She's the perfect child who fell off the bandwagon and refuses any help, but the apocalypse has forced her into a rigorous detox program that can give her near mood swings from time to time.

Your First Walker Encounter: Chloe was in the federal prison in Los Angeles, when reports started coming in about the undead rising. The inmates were growing more and more restless as each day passed, and eventually, they organized. They had a riot planned, and managed to execute it almost perfectly, trampling several guards as they fled the prison. Chloe still remembers perfectly one guard, killed in the riot, chasing after them, entirely unhinged. It wasn't until later that she realized he was, indeed, a walker.
History Before Outbreak:Growing up, Chloe's parents were incredibly demanding. They pushed her towards excellence and perfection, constantly taking her to ballet lessons, self defense classes, and violin lessons. If there was another parent taking their kid to the activity, Chloe was forced to do it. Among all of these other activities, her parents expected her to read "great" novels and keep up with politics, and maintain perfect grades in schools. At the age of three, they decided for her that she would become a surgeon.
Of course, Chloe tried to please her parents. She studied as hard as she could, and became a mess whenever she received a lower grade than an A. Forgoing a social life and sleep, Chloe managed to meet her parents expectations at the sacrifice of her sanity, and ended up in therapy for an anxiety disorder in her later high school years. She quit therapy soon after graduating, having been accepted to numerous universities, and while she wanted to go Indiana State, her parents decided for her that Stanford would be the appropriate choice.
She attempted to graduate with honors and holding an internship at a local hospital, and she turned to Aderall and energy drinks in order to be able to stay up and study. However, she soon became addicted to the drug. By her second year in college, Chloe was hooked. Falling in with the wrong crowd of people, Chloe began smoking weed, before progressing to heroin and cocaine in her final year of college. She insisted that the drugs were merely to help her focus, and while she did graduate successfully, she lost her focus and her drive, instead spending her days with the comforts of LSD and anything she could get her hands on.
Shortly after her college graduation, Chloe was arrested for the use of heroin, as well as auto-theft. Chloe served her time at a minimum security federal prison in California. When she arrived, she was asked what her name was -- but thinking they asked for the day of the week, she replied "Tuesday." Until the outbreak, Chloe always went by that name--Tuesday. In prison, she mostly kept her nose clean, and attempted to go sober several times. She was sent to solitary once, but beyond that, served her time with her head down.
Her parents had already disowned her, and unable to muster the courage to go back to medical school, Chloe--still going by Tuesday--fell in with the wrong crowd once again. The only contact she had with her family was listening to her twin sister's songs on the radio, and she spent her time going in and out of prison. Each time, the charges were more serious than the last.
History Since Outbreak: Chloe ran back to the relative safety of her kingpin, once she got out of jail. Only problem was, once she arrived at the old headquarters (so to speak), no one was there. Giving in to her craving, she did what little drugs she could find, before recalling that her sister, Riley, was in town. She sent a call to Riley, using a stolen phone, and made arrangements to leave L.A. with her sister.
It took some clever sneaking around the city, in order to avoid death from the riots. Once Riley had an established group in the apartment, Chloe--still called Tuesday then--managed to make it there. She arrived practically just in time, the very day that Riley and the group packed up into Riley's car, and fled L.A. before the bombs dropped.
Surprisingly enough, there aren't drug dealers hanging around during the apocalypse. Chloe went through a rather painful and agonizing detox process, involving a lot of heart-to-hearts, as well as excessive vomiting. At one stop on their trip east, as they ran into a hostile group, Chloe ended up being left behind, the group assuming that she had died from her illness. No one could have known she was still alive.
She played dead until the group left, and as she was entirely alone, Chloe did some hard thinking about her life. She had a keychain with her then, with her prison name on it--Tuesday--that she carried around for good luck. Chloe buried the keychain there, letting go of that old name and that old life. She was ready to be herself again. It was slow moving, but Chloe spent her time initially getting better, and once she was mostly recovered, she went back on the move. She had to find her sister, Riley, and she knew that she had been heading east.
Teaching herself how to drive, Chloe used abandoned cars to make her east. She figured that Riley would have been taken in by some larger group, and she knew that her sister would survive, somehow. She's been hoping in cars, abandoning them, looking around, and traveling as best as she can from place to place, all in the hopes of finding her sister. She had spent her entire life before being an idiot, rather than focusing on perhaps the one person in the world who still cared for her. She wasn't going to let an outbreak stop her from finding Riley.
