@ErmineI find it funny that Noon is trying to keep her crush on Psyche under wraps when she's a telepath, and thus, probably already knows or has an extremely good hunch.

Edit: Also, can you tell me a bit about Noon's people, possible paces where accidents or incidences might have happened that would expose my Janus character to a lot of their technology while near death. I've got ideas, but I want to get a better idea of what her people are capable of.

- We defeated a dangerous enemy. Who or what was it?
I'm open to ideas from others.

- We destroyed our surroundings in the fight. Where was it? What did we destroy?
I like the idea of a containment building being destroyed and villains escaped. Gives us multiple people to fight against.

- We didn't trust each other at first, but that changed. How? Why?
For Psyche, it would be the fact that the others would accept her and want to work with her. It would take time, but eventually she'd grow to trust and enjoy working on the team.

- We saved the life of someone important, either to the city, or to us. Who was it? Why are they important?
Hmm. I like the idea of saving the Mayor. Gives us a nice starting off point.

- We paid a high cost for victory. What was it?
As above, if the containment facility got destroyed, we let loose a bunch of villains. Would also give us a mission right off the back of tracking them all down and stopping them again.

- All things considered, we did well and impressed an established hero. Who was it?
I think I can get behind Double's idea of Silver Hawk. I only hope that Silver Hawk paid attention to everyone and not just Max and Kiante (as in, he noticed all the heroes, not just those two and decided the others were ok at best).

@Raijinslayer Could have been a Beacon before, and maybe one of the first Noon met. Hence why she brought him to her people to save him when he was near death. <.<

@ErmineThat could work, a guy with little power that did his best, than got caught in something way above his skill level. My thought is that he'd always had the technopathy, but it had been so minor that he just thought he was good with computers and that was it. However, as he was dying, his powers would begin to kick into overdrive in an effort to keep him alive,looking for any and all material that could help, basically causing him to absorb the alien technology and grafting it into his bones, organs, even his very DNA. This would make him kind of like a cyborg, but more like an organic machine. However, it'll be a rebirth kind of thing, in which it'll seem like he died, only for him to comeback later. Since he never told anyone about his superhero side, his family would just be confused by why he'd disappeared for so long, and he'd take on a new identity to avoid drawing attention to himself. Might consider telling Noon, but he basically doesn't want people to know what happened to him.

So apart from Kiante... it doesn't look like Max will have any particular connection to the teammates individually. Guess he'll be detached somewhat at the start. That's gonna make keeping to the Legacy a lot harder, but hey, no one ever said the superhero business would be easy. It's not like he's being pressured to maintain the tradition and reputation of an entire family... oh wait. <_<

Yeah, Max will probably seem very privileged on the surface, but you can bet he's gonna be getting a heaping helping of pressure pushed on him by both Joel AND Jay. And I'm guessing the only person who will even be remotely aware of that fact is Kiante... who also happens to be the one person who likely cares the least about it. xD

@DoubleI feel like Kiante would probably tell them to back the duck off from time to time. He is a proponent of living your own life, not the one others want you to live. Thus why he clashes with Joel from time to time, probably more with Jay whenever he's around because they're likely to similar to get along on certain aspects.

Well, the other slight issue with the Hunters is that, yes, they share the Legacy and they each follow it, but they tend to do it under different methodologies. Joel staunchly believed in being as much of a role model as possible, while Jay tended to stick to the "be a leader" aspect of things, hence why he now works with entire teams within law enforcement (at this point he has a hand-picked team of regular human law enforcement personnel from both HPD and FBI that give him the same kind of support Batman would get from the likes of Oracle and Commissioner Gordon). As such, because they adopted slightly differing ways of keeping to the Legacy, they're each sort of wanting Max to follow in their respective footsteps. What may look like the perfect American family to outsiders does in fact have its flaws and issues the public doesn't see. Just like real life celebrity families now that I think of it.

This brings something to mind, how much does the media factor in this world, I wonder. It never really gets touched on by comics, but current social media would be interesting in a superhero setting.

It can be a thing if it has to be. May make GM posts as news stories and various social media. Supervillains using twitter could be super awkward. Will totes happen with appropriate ones.

@ErmineI imagine most wouldn't unless they're extremely confident/stupid/or crazy. I could definitely see the Joker leaving a bunch of weird, disturbing tweets through a barrage of fake accounts.

Memory Questions

When did you first learn of your doom?

When she got her first memory. It was of her being cursed by a man she had read about the paper: Aphosis. He had explained her doom to her, but did not explain how to undo it.

Where did you get your sanctuary?

It wasn't too hard. Due to her lack of money, she wasn't able to get an apartment the conventional way. So she used her memory manipulation to make everyone associated with the building forget about the apartment room in the basement level of the building. This, being a lot of work, is what caused her first Doomsign.

How is your nemesis tied into your doom?

Aphosis was the one who doomed her. Simple as that.

Who, outside of the team, is crucial to facing your nemesis?

She doesn't know of anyone yet.

Why does the team matter to you?

She knows she cannot undo what Aphosis did to her alone.
