Meria is a familiar, right? If so, why does she have a Catalyst?

Lunarians are pretty BS considering (I think it was) Watatsuki no Yorihime beat Reimu, Marisa and others at their own game single-handedly in Sinner in Silent Blue when they went to the moon. The newest one is pretty much about the final boss Junko holding a grudge against Chang'e's husband and by extension her and the Lunarians for her son's death. Events of the story follow and whatnot.

Overall, I believe it was implied somewhere that Shiki Eiki is probably the strongest character in the series. It was in one of the written material. Yukari mentioned that Eiki would defeat her, Reimu and Yuyuko if they attacked at the same time. I mean, techincally Mokou and Kaguya (possibly Eirin as well) are Op because Immortal, but you know.

Overall powerlevels are relative otherwise as Spell Card bull makes it all about skill anyhow.

You can tell by the fact that she DOESN'T have a Catalyst, and that her manipulation of wind/ice/water stems from her nature as a Yuki Onna.

I won't lie and said I read your ENTIRE CS, but would changing the race make too much a difference? That's the joy of magic. It let's you break the laws of physics AND nature. Idk. XD

It wouldn't, honestly. She doesn't mention her Nightmare Eater stuff at all in her history.

Then again, if you're a mage, why would you have such weird magics the first place? They standardized and categorized magic, before teaching kids magic in the form of spells, didn't they? Nightmare Eating shenanigans sounds more like the weird type of 'magic' that Gigalomania is.

But these people have a point. You are probably going to have to either ditch your backstory and some of your non-magic abilities or ditch the baku part of your CS. It'd be better than trying to shoehorn stuff in.

EDIT: Being a demon would help, but who taught her that magic, and why? It only raises questions from me. Additionally, we already have two people who mess with dreams.

I don't think you need to change your magic, but you'd have to consider under what condition you'd even be TAUGHT how to use this sort of magic. Cause if magic is something that you learn how to do, it shouldn't exactly come to you easily at all. It's not like math, in which you can eventually figure out the basics by yourself, I'm assuming.

Perhaps the problem here is that I'm thinking that mages are 'wizards with spellbooks', while others are just thinking of mages as 'superhumans with special-snowflake abilities'.
