Mental Health: She was fine until the witch started toying with her. She didn't understand why she was hurt and confused, but it hurt and confused her. Though, like a lot of other bad things she just suppresses the thought and doesn't think about it. How else do you think she stays so chipper? The kid is pretty much unhealthy and she doesn't even know it. //shot

Well, she doesn't think badly of anyone. In fact, each of them have been dubbed as a comrade. She trusts them enough...Ace won't admit that she'd trust them enough to depend on them. Ace is independent, and even being a team player now she wouldn't just ask for help.

Harper : He and Jasper were the first that she could officially call friends. Harper is a buddy to her, and his care to make sure she didn't kill herself is kind of funny. She admires his spunk and leadership when the going gets tough.

Jasper : Ace feels like a big sister to Jasper. Ace will occasionally have the urge to protect her, but she's been getting a lot of attention from the others- mainly the guys, so she stays out of the way.

Leila : She's never had a real conversation with her, but she has the urge to protect her as well, like Jasper. Ace doesn't know if they're relationship will change or not, she'll let Leila decide.

Riley : They are the redhead duo. Of course Ace thinks she's fun. And it's nice to have someone that may agree with her recklessness from time to time. They are 'bro fist' worthy pals.

Inadi : She could've sworn there was a time he tried to get to know them all our something- and the mushroom guy appeared. Anyway, Ace thinks of him as a more serious version of Harper. But then again, he's completely different. One of these days she'd figure out Inadi. But, he's pretty cool from their light hearted conversations.

Lesley: Ace still doesn't know his gender, but at this point she couldn't care less. Though she leans towards guy a lot more than girl. Ace doesn't care though because he's also a chipper fellow. She has yet to actually talk to him much, but maybe that'll change.

Toby : Ace will probably enjoy his excited company. Though, even she'll think it's weird if he acts really childish. (According to his wish and all) Other than that, she'd be happy to add another optimistic face- just as long as he knows she was first.

Ran aka Momma-Ran : Ace honestly won't know what to make out of Ran. She just won't. Ha, not at least until some interaction is at hand.

Guides : Ace hasn't gotten attached to any of the guides. She doesn't know them too well. And now after the spat, she honestly thinks they'll probably leave. Songbird and Brandy don't seem to care for her 'overly optimistic' -ness. And Martini seems more inclined to fashion and Lesley than anything. But the mermaid thing will probably start a conversation between the two, if Martini is ever close enough. Maybe she'll get to know them more.

I had no such influence over the relationship chart!

Harper:
Just...a very nice person? He's younger than Leila is by one year, but he's probably become the only person Leila came to see as a peer. He just gives off an aura that makes Leila feel it's okay to not put up any facade when interacting with him and having someone to open up to may prove valuable later when she breaks (even when Harper is not okay with talking with her because he'll be in his own depression pit).

Depending on what happens to Harper later on, Leila will probably either grow a bit fond of Harper's personality (friendship!) or turn him into some kind of role model-ish figure and end up building up a distance between them.

Ace:
Despite her being all optimism and fighting hard and all Leila doesn't really know Ace well. For now she's just grateful because Ace saved her life. But then just like very much everything else in the witch fight, doing that probably took its toll on Ace as well and Leila knew that, so whether the life-saving incident would spark interaction or just worsen that guilt complex she's starting to develop is yet to be seen.

Inadi:
Leila doesn't really like Inadi. Not sure exactly why - probably partly the same mindset on her end as everyone else being uncomfortable with how Haku acted. He's been a really tough fighter - she saw that back at the caves and with the witch, but that combined with him not showing much emotion (at least not perceived to) probably also caused the impression that he's prone to violence, and that's reinforced at the cabin when he speared the guides and all. Then he lacks that 'interesting mind' part that was why Leila was pretty blind to Haku's other potential personality flaws.

This might change, though, since those are really just initial impressions.

Lesley:
Just. The pink hair. Gorgeous.

That aside though, Leila's a bit...intimidated by Lesley? 6 feet 4 and long pink hair isn't really the most approachable image you find of a person.

But then again, him being a rainbow mage is just awesome and fascinating to an extreme.

Jasper:
Interesting thing: Leila probably thinks Jasper the most "ordinary person" out of the entire group, even though some things she does Leila cannot comprehend. Not as much affinity there in comparison, but yeah. She's interesting, to say at least.

Riley:
A bit like Harper? Just...very friendly and it probably feels really secure being around her. Riley being hyped over things and the whole "dragon tamer" thing probably will make Leila a bit uncomfortable though - which means she'll feel safe staying with Riley but she's gonna be very insecure when Riley's around along with other people? It complicated.

Guides:
Major aesthetic crushes. Songbird especially. Leila has an odd concept of "pretty", so whether that's a good thing remains to be seen. There's also that persistent intrigue because they're beings from another world? Although Leila probably will have growing emotions towards the guides after what they've done for the humans.

Others:
The dead ones - she didn't really get to know all those people up until the events of Sol, so no especially strong feelings towards Emily and Eric's deaths. Vincent, not really, either, since the only interaction between them was Leila crashing into him on the catbus and that wasn't exactly pleasant.

The one person she interacted the most with was Haku, in that some of his remarks sparked Leila's interest in his mind. His personality that got on the nerves of so many others didn't really bother Leila that much, instead she seeked identification with him through shared perception of certain things about the world. But of course, Haku's dead now. Leila's mostly just...confused over it.

Not that Leila doesn't feel grief over people dying, it's just that her lamenting is more of "I don't want that happening to me as well" and less of being genuinely sorry. Haku and Avian's death were otherwise significant in the sense that she perceived them as the strong ones, so it's harder to imagine them dead, having believed they'll be okay on their own all this while. Bonus "valuable research subject lost" points to Haku as well.

Also regarding Harper and Songbird and everyone else's injuries: for the people she cares for she actually develops a strong sense of empathy towards those she got to know. And as much as she's scared of dying she doesn't like to think of people dying - so she'll make efforts to help if given the chance and capability, but it could be ultimately still be mapped onto a selfish intention.

Yehp, Leila a terrible person.

Leila doesn't know what to make of the newcomers yet, so impressions are to be made.

The part on mental health:

Feels are happening and she has no idea how to deal with them. Not good. This fight might as well have just pushed her over the despair event horizon, but not just quite yet. At one point she was willing to kill the witch and only didn't do so because she wasn't capable of doing so, and when she realizes what it means to want to kill something that badly in retrospect it'll make her start doubting a lot of things.

The rest time after the fight though, she'll probably just...try very hard to think things through. Certain parts are sure to require "enlightenment" from the other Lost Souls because many events deal with things she isn't familiar with, so that's to be looked forward to. Whether she'll accept that she can't figure it out or just break down because that fact depends on the circumstsances. In general though, it's likely that she'll put back on the attitude back at the start of the journey, when she had nothing to care about but her own mind - re-embracing that attitude is probably going to be used as a way to prevent further damage because she didn't care about what's going to happen to other people if she stays okay. Well we all know you can't exactly "un-feel" things so the best she could do this time around is pretend she doesn't care. Having a hard time persuading herself about things is probably an unavoidable scenario. This can go that bit bittersweet or simply full out traumatic, again, depending on the circumstances.

But yeah. The whole "developing feels" thing might go either way and we'll just to wait to see what happens.

Mental: She's still sane for the most part but she's just severely drained and weakened. The deaths have really sucked out her hopes and she is no longer afraid to die there. Her only motivation is to survive for the others and maybe get home, but she doesn't think she'll make it if the items to acquire keep getting harder.

Past Life and Fam

How was Jasper's life a year before boarding zeh train?

At 19 years of age, Jasper was living a simple life she was completely satisfied with. Rosen had passed a little under a year ago, but she was coming to accept it. Making coffee for the cafe and coming home to a quiet apartment was all she knew. Due to her fear of social interactions, she avoided leaving unless necessary like needing to pick up groceries or heading off to work. To pass time she'd rent movies and watch them on her own or listen to music.

Basically a satisfactory lifestyle alone.

Does she regret going on zeh train?

Absolutely. She's hated it since day one. But of course she's come to realize how much it had pushed her to emerge from her shell and shown her that she is wholly capable of making friends. Jasper hopes to stay close with the Lost Souls if they're able to return home.

Family thoughts and reactions?

Jasper's only real family was Rosen, but since she is no longer alive, the girl has no one waiting for her.

By now, her apartment has a new tenant due to missed payments which the landlord was really surprised about since Jasper was a responsible renter who always paid her fee on time.

Her boss at Tea Leaf Cafe is probably the closest person she has to someone who cares and the old lady wonders about her everyday. She knows that Jasper enjoyed her job as a barista and wasn't the type to just quit, especially without saying a proper goodbye.

Relations

Harper: Seeing as Harper was also meek in nature since day one, Jasper had a natural tendency to gravitate towards Harper. She considers him a close friend and feels really comfortable with him aside from the awkward vibes every time the mutual thought of the kiss pops up. Jasper would risk her life to save him and also holds the longest relationship with him.

Riley: Though she hasn't spoken to Riley much, from her observations, she has an admiration for the girl's optimistic persona that's alike to Ace's. She hopes to get to know Riley better.

Leila : Jasper thinks Leila is a little too quiet and somewhat of an air head. The albino has never spoken to the girl and doesn't think a conversation between them could even work, but if the situation ever came up, she is prepared to be the one driving the convo, which she never does.

Ace : From the red head's large chest to her never-failing determination, Jasper really looks up to Ace and feels close to her. She hopes to get to know Ace better since Jasper can detect an aura of suppression underneath the girl's outer character of cheeriness. An older sister figure is what she views Ace as, even though she is actually the older one.

Lesley : Though she feels a little intimidated by the pink haired man's bizarre personality and excessive openess to expressing himself, she feels that she can open up to him. Though she had ticked him off in the past because of the puking thing, she knows that he'll be able to forgive her and plans to apologize for her mistake. I can see her starting to show her silly side to someone for the first time, this someone being Lesley.

Inadi : Having been saved by him a few times, she feels safe and protected around him. She appreciates his caring nature, but also feared his forward aggression towards the guides. "Like" may be a word to describe how she feels about him, but it will take a bit more interaction for her to feel comfortable around him.

Ran : I think Jasper and Momma-Ran will be good friends one day and she'll definitely question him about "weird" topics someday... muhehehue （ΦωΦ）

Toby : I'm not sure how Jasper will handle the guy's childish ways yet, but I think they'll be able to get along. Her motherly instincts might even kick in, who knows XD

Song : She sees him as a protector and feels like he is the older brother in the relationship. Respect and also fear could be meshed together on her views about him, especially when he's angry or grumpy. Jasper loves his cooking and hopes to one day learn his ways in the kitchen.

Martini : Like Lesley, she finds the mermaid's fanciful nature to be a bit much, but overall feels comfortable with her. She hopes that the fight in the cabin won't cause Martini to close up.

Brandy : Right now she feels really intimidated by him and he doesn't look too approachable to her, but I think she can learn to make tea from him and she could teach him how to brew in return.

*Gives everyone a big hug* Dang, both Jasper and Ace don't have any real family members waiting for them and while Leila has her family, the people who actually give her the time of day are the workers tasked with watching her.

It's supposed to be a couple of snippets (is this the right word?) focusing on an AU where the lost souls die in Nowhere. Their existence ends up being erased but for some reason the important people in their lives end up remembering things they shouldn't.

Thingy

His mother hates the color pink.

She loathes it with her entire being because it is a painful color. She doesn’t understand why, but it feels like heartache. It’s the color of loneliness, and each time she catches a glimpse of it, she can’t help but feel strands of hair slipping between her fingers.

It smells like bubble gum, but feels like a knife straight through her heart.

There’s a spare room in their home. She and her husband don’t remember what it’s for, but the room is filled to the brim with canvases and unused cans of paint. It’s a little strange, considering that neither of them are the artistic sort, but sometimes she dreams about a sweet child with his fingers wrapped tightly around a paintbrush.

Like most dreams, the details are hazy, but she remembers his hair.

It’s pink—the color of shattered rainbows and broken hearts.

Riley

“Do you have a roommate or something?”

Kim almost says yes. She has never had a roommate, but the place is littered with books and writing magazines and a rusty old bike is parked out in the yard. For some reason, the books and the rusty bike feel like old friends.

In the dog-eared pages of books, she finds horrible puns. She doesn't know why, but the absence of the person who penned them down, it makes her feel lonely. “No, I’ve never had a roommate before.” Strange, she finds it extremely hard to believe the truth.

I'll do something for all the Lost Souls and the hooded figures in the future. *Runs away* OTL I don't know what I'm doing.

Also, at this point, they've been missing for almost two months already.

Have their families given up hope? And have some even thrown funerals for them already?

Songbird

Songbird and Brandy are very close. He personally thinks that Brandy needs more sleep.

Songbird repeatedly mentioned his opinion of Martini's fashion "obsession" IC, so I won't repeat. There's a protective undertone to their friendship though. He likes it when she's happy so anything that makes Martini sad is a big fat "NO" in Songbird's opinion, unless if it includes him wearing one of her designs.

The humans that Songbird "bonded" with the most are Leila and Jasper, mostly because their behavior didn't irritate him. He thinks they're nice and has already taken on the "big brother/protector" role for the two, but for the others... He thinks Riley jumps around too much but doesn't have an issue with Ace since they hadn't interacted a lot. He thinks Harper is "cute" like a tiny little dog trying to bark at a much bigger one, but that's probably Martini's opinion rubbing off on him.

Is currently holding a grudge against some of the humans, namely Lesley, Inadi and Leon (ehhh). Doesn't actually mind the spear jabbing since he can just go and break Inadi's arm if he actually made true on the threat and is angrier at having seen Martini cry.

He regrets being a guide because the humans flipping out at them like that was a shitty thing to do, but deep inside he's worrying about how to fix their relationship and maybe go back to at least working terms since he knows they'll need his help.

Avian

Avian and the other guides were okay. Victoria is a fan of Martini so Avian knows who she is, and he bumped into Songbird a lot back when he was still a traveler.

He thinks of all the Lost Souls as his kids and adores them. :D He thought that Inadi and Hakuren just needed some time to thaw out, and that Ace and Lesley showed great fortitude despite the trying situation. He's basically the fine with everyone even after that bit with the fight, since he understands that they have questions they needed answers to, but he thinks that it was seriously the wrong time to have done that.

Avian and Victoria were pretty much war heroes both in Sol and Aven, so they have a comfortable and peaceful life with the occasional couple spat. Avian, unbeknownst to Vicky hahahaha, was from a minor branch of the royal family in Aven; his parents were renowned dragonlords and most of the members of his family worked for the government as knights or ministers. He wasn't "compatible" with any dragon so he just ended up traveling all over Nowhere, which is what he wanted instead of being tied to tradition and all that royal fancy-shmancy stuff, but he returned during the War to protect Aven.

Before being assigned as a guide (and dying, may I add), Avian was having a "fun" life. Workload was infinitely smaller since Sol was a tranquil place to begin with, and he was starting to settle in on their new home. He was also considering asking Vicky about children, but always chickens out of it because lately she seemed pissed off at him for some reason.

I'd love to say that he regrets being a guide because it took his life, but he doesn't. Really. That's how golden Avian is OTL

(Up in fluffy Nowhere Heaven) Avian's happy Lesley is alive and that his death amounted for something, but feels depressed that he wasn't able to help more. Also feels horrendously sad at the fact that he and Vicky parted on angry terms.

Papa A's proud of his babies for surviving that mean ol' hag, yo!

But he's dead and the aforementioned feelings are simply my ruminations. I don't know if that's what he's feeling up in Nowhere Heaven ahahaha.

... Because there's no Nowhere Heaven.

Numair

I'm not Numair's creator so I'll try to recall what SilverWishes wrote for him, but these are my stuff...

Gary!
The first time they met... He had a tiny crush on her but then she told him to strip.

Gary pretty much broke Numair down with her hyperactivity and constant demands to see "the buns". At first he couldn't deal with it and stayed as far away as he could from her, but eventually got accustomed to her presence (under threat of death from the pole).

Thinks she and Sacha have that platonic soulmate thing going on.

Also doesn't like it when Gary beats him within five moves in dama. Dislikes it more when she counters his insults with "That's ad hominem and it isn't a real argument, ignoramus". Thinks if she wants people to respect her she should stop thwacking with the pole and just show them how much of a genius she is.

Sacha!
Numair thinks Sacha's amazing in a St. Bernard in the mountains a.k.a "I'll save you from the evil pink-haired hobbit" sort of way. Sacha keeps Gary away from the kitchen which means less poison for him to ingest one way or another, so he's really thankful for that.

He goes to help with Sacha's chores and enjoys the quiet cleaning time.

Luke!
BRO! BROOOOOOO-

They're chill. They talk about games a lot and their sense of humor is pretty much spot-on hahaha

They shiver in fear together when Gary's in a bad mood. He winces whenever Gary kicks Luke in the nuts.

She's okay. He just finds it weird when she spaces out and mumbles something to herself. Sometimes he thinks she's asleep and then she suddenly perks up and looks at the curtains... e n e

In his first days with the HF he thought he would wake up in the middle of the night to see her standing over him, a pipe in one hand and that constant apathetic look on her face. Combined with a near death experience and a lot of broken bones, it took him days to calm down, which aggravated his condition. They eventually "poisoned" Numair just to get him to sleep.

He's the pack mule whenever C goes shopping for home decor.

A year before:
Numair was just about recovering from his surfing accident around this time, I think. This was the period of time where he basically dropped everything and remained inside his room, depressed about everything in life.

When he recovered, he joined another surfing competition to show everyone he was back, and he felt okay enough to go through the event. He thought he would be able to do it and joined the other competitors out on the beach, but the sight and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore just sent memories flooding back and he was unable to move.

After bailing out on that event, he resumed living as a hermit, appalled at his weakness and inability to do the one thing he loved the most in life.

Regret?:
He'd do anything if it meant getting over his phobia.

Missing:
Numair lives on his own since his parents are working abroad, and they don't keep communication... A handful of friends would probably be concerned, but would think he was just holing himself up in his house since he pretty much shut everyone out after the NDE.

Mental Health

Up until battling the witch, Lesley was enjoying himself and rather fascinated by Nowhere. He was curious and saw it as an opportunity to experience something way out of the ordinary. But now that he'd come to know the true nature of what he has to do to get back to earth, a grim overlay is now beginning to encircle his usual upbeat ways.

1 year ago

Life:

Some could call him a bum of sorts, but he doesn't consider himself that way. His parents babied him therefore allowing him to hold off on college after highschool and had no problem letting him stay at home even at 23. At least he had income, though sporadic, it was enough not to get him categorized as a leech child. Modeling opportunities were common and he never turned them down. Odd jobs were top contributors to the cost of paying for Empire.

All his experiences he accepted with open arms and viewed them as a chance to grow.

Lesley's daily life consisted of waking up at any time he wished, strolling into a kitchen with already made food, and going down to his basement to draw and paint to his heart's fulfilment. Some days he'd head out to wander downtown, buying clothes and knick-knacks here and there. Different art lessons were available at the community college near his home so he'd sign up for as much of them as he could to pass time and acquire more experience until he felt that he was good enough to audition for Empire.

Regrets:

His only regret is the fact that he had missed his audition for the school of his dreams and the possibility of dying is now very real to him.

Family:

His parents are still pretty oblivious of him going missing, but they're starting to worry, especially his mother. Lesley always called home to tell his parents of his whereabouts and never had a reason to cutoff connections with them. Two months without word, but his mother likes to think that he's just enjoying himself at Empire, but still wonders what happened. The boy had promised to phone them up to tell them the results of his audition, but since he never got sent back to LA, they assume he got accepted.

His mother has called his phone many times, though being sent to voicemail at all attempts, spammed all his social media and has cried a couple times just wondering why he hasn't responded, but she's yet to question the college. Give it one more month and Lesley's mother is bound to go rage mode at Empire asking for her son.

"How do you feel about ____"

Harper: "This kid sure is one tough cookie. A brave lil' guy too. You'd think he looks meek at first glance, but you can tell he pushes himself and tries his best at any given situation. I'll get to know him one day for sure (∩_∩)"

Riley: "I love her! She's hyper and cheery. Fun to be around and easy to get along with. I need to find out more about her, same goes for everyone else. I will try my best! (≧∇≦)/"

Jasper: "Ah, the albino one. She threw up on me y'know? Eh, I forgive her (*^▽^*). Can't stay mad at the poor girl, she's too cute. It's kind of unfair. She charmed Inadi, I can tell, but I'm ok (o;TωT)o I'm still going to be buddies with her, I'm the body guard after all!"

Leila : "EEP! *clenches fists in cute aggression* She is just too adorable *teeth are visibly clenched* I wish she was a stuffed toy so I could SQUISH HER Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ All of this frustration aside, I hope we'll be close someday. She's kinda awkward, but I think I can break her（*＾ワ＾*）"

Ace :

Public events doesn't sound like that bad of an idea though - the "getting drunk and telling stories" thing prompted in the skype chat was interesting and I'd certainly love to see how that'll play out, but with all the additional info on the OOC there's a risk of repetition? @Time skip discussions

The scene we'll be playing out takes place two weeks (human time) after they defeated the witch so it'll take place inside the castle, but we defo need activities for the rest of the month and a half before we time skip.

Those are great ideas Kimchi! :) I can see the queen telling the guides to bring the hoomans someplace nice (after they recover)

All the ideas are great and I especially love the public event and beach ones! Perhaps the rabbit sisters brought them to a dance at the square and they all get drunk because some Nobody scams them into buying "milk" haha.

We can use that as a basis to improve relationships.

We could say Song bailed one of the drunk humans out of a drunken competition? You guys will need to talk among yourselves for that, but it definitely works. Or maybe Lesley and Martini team up to save someone from drowning at the beach. (It should defo be Ran >8D)

Gary

They get into silly spats from time to time due to stuff regarding their budget.

C thinks Gary can be a bit too violent and loud, but they're friends and she enjoys listening to the girl speak. She tries to keep Gary out of trouble from time to time and makes it a point to look out for their bouncy hobbit.

Sacha

Like Numair, she thinks Sacha is amazing.

C tries her best to help him with the chores and sometimes kicks him out of the base so he can have a day off. She thinks he works too hard sometimes. C enjoys his company and likes talking to someone less loud than Luke and Gargar. Usually, she drags him along when out on errands because while Luke and Gary make it a point to complain, Sacha actually helps her pick curtains and home decor, and she appreciates that.

Numair

He carries the stuff whenever they go on errands, and that's appreciated.

C thinks he's alright and finds it interesting that he fell out of the sky and onto their ship. She hasn't spoken to him much but has asked quite a handful of questions. So far, she thinks Nums is a good addition to their little family. He treats everyone nicely and Gary and Luke seem to like him a lot.

Luke

Her childhood friend and classmate (though she doesn't remember that xD)

She's known Luke for as long as she can remember and while it doesn't show, she's protective of him and if anything bad were to happen to him the apathy would crumble. C usually drags him out of the base to lurk around Nowhere and sometimes the two go on missions without letting the others know.

Luke

Gary

They're pals, and they do stupid things together. He's got her back, most of the time xD

Luke likes teasing Gargar and calls her dwarf when he wants to piss her off. He thinks her reactions are priceless though cowers in a corner with Nums whenever she unleashes her wrath. Whenever she starts talking smart it makes his head hurt, so he usually tunes her out when that happens.

They do dangerous stuff together, much to Sacha's dismay.

Sacha

His roommate and savior!

Sacha is the only person Luke doesn't try to upset on purpose. because Sacha is in charge of their meals and food is life. They're pals and he really respects his roomie. He thinks of Sacha as the responsible one and as a result will be more likely to obey an order from him than anyone else. Sacha also makes a good barricade and conversation buddy.

Numair

BROFIST TIME.

Like Gargar, Numair is a bro and he enjoys joking around with the surfer. There's a lot of things he doesn't quite understand, like Slenderman and Skyrim but they have a good time talking about silly jokes and playing pranks.

I can see Luke blaming Nums when Gary turns on them. "Yiiikes! Someone has to take the fall."

C

His childhood friend and classmate. He and C have known each other for a really long time but neither remember.

He followed her onto the midnight train and bam Nowhere happened. While Luke still acts somewhat like himself, C has become a pretty different person. They still chill and he enjoys annoying her but something feels off. He used to like her in a "Oh-my-God-I've-fallen-for-my-best-friend' sort of way and finally managed to spill the beans on one super deadly mission. They got together for a bit, but even that has been forgotten by now.

Anddd, done! Good mornight, guys :) I hope you're having a wonderful day. Kei-chan will get the epilogue up tomorrow so those who haven't wrapped up yet please post before then. MUG is excused though, I think his flight back home is today so he'll be pretty busy.

No worries, Four ^^! It sucks, that you'll be gone during the R&R period, but on the bright side, you'll be just in time for the beginning of the fifth chapter or so. Leila will miss chances to interact, but in the future we'll be doing more mini chapters between the main ones so there'll be another opportunity for relationship building. I'll NPC her while you're away :) enjoy your trip, Avocado! Thank you for the heads up.

Brandu owns a quaint little bookshop/library, and before being a guide everyday was very nice and peaceful. I feel like he took up the job partly because he heard Song was doing it and the guy always ended getting in trouble because the birdy's so airheaded and such and he wanted to make sure he didn't die laughs too bad the witch happened and now Brandu feels guilty about not being able to do his job properly.

He does occasionally regret taking the job, mostly during times when one of the more reckless humans rush into danger without a thought; they could at least be a little thoughtful and try to avoid unneeded near-death experiences. He's rather upset with the humans right now however, with their little episode in the cabin about not trusting the guides. He's especially upset with Inadi- was there really a need to threaten them with a spear? He'd have set the guy on fire for being so rude if they weren't in such a perilous situation.

He prefers the quieter humans to the super talkative ones, like Leila and Jasper, and he's very much amused by the little scenarios with the albino, Lesley and Inadi. Perhaps it'll end up something like the plot of that super sappy romance book he once read? He also finds it rather funny that the group of humans have rallied around the rather unassuming and normal Harper, but he's grown rather fond of the boy though they haven't talked much. The new addition of an adult on the team has him rather relieved- maybe the new humans would be able to help with keeping the kids out of too much trouble.

Brandy's very close to Song, having known the Nobody for as long as he can remember. They often have tea in the item-hunter's house, and the rabbit is quite good friends with the army of fluffballs that live with Burdy. In particular he's very attached to Bill the elder fluffball who has a bald spot and a great liking for blooberries. As for Martini, he does think that the mermaid is a bit too bubbly and peppy for his tastes, but she has her merits. The hardest he's ever laughed was when she successfully roped Songbird into modelling for her- both because she was trying out a new style that looked quite ridiculous to him and because Song's reddened face actually matched his outfit very well..

Marti

I don't think I need to explain Marti's past pft. Lots of clothes and fancy parties and many admirers /brick'd

She's met many previous batch humans at the Queen's parties before, and had had the opportunity to get to know some of them quite well before they were whisked off to continue in their quest or going back to their world or wherever they went afterwards. She hadn't really grasped how much danger they would be in with this job, but she doesn't regret it because she's gotten to know some super awesome people! Though after Lesles' little outburst and Leon's death... mauhauah

She doesn't dislike any human; they've all got their faults but Marti just thinks they're all quite adorable. Especially Harper and Leila, she just wants to squish them and squeal while the others she wants to put in her outfits and have them model for fun. She absolutely adores Lesles and loves the fact that they both have long pink hair, not to mention the fact that he's totally fabulous *insert rainbow sparkles here*. The mermaid was very much hurt by his distrust but understands that they were all tired and stressed and scared, so she'd forgive him in a heartbeat. She's already pretty much forgiven them all ahaha.

Thunder? You've been kind of quiet ^^ how are things going?

Oh, and just some info on my post tomorrow. It will begin with the hoomans at the castle, I'll leave it pretty open so you guys will be free to do whatever. I'll do a setup with people gathered on a couch with tea so they can have drunken storytelling, but not everyone has to be present, so if you'd rather have your characters do something else then that's cool too. The Queen will be having a party and there might be a fashion show going on in the background if Kathi-chan wants? If not, then it'll just be another one of her feasts, there'll be visitors though, so she'll leave the humans alone. Skitzs will be busy too, and as usual Brandu, Song, and Marti will be in charge of the hoomans.
