When i first built this character, she was actually a phsycic vampire permanently stuck in mist form (classic vampire power) that was until she honed her phsycic ability to "posess" others minds and regain her body back momentarily... That was the ORIGINAL character for a Vampire bloodlines game waaaay back in 94' :)
Taking note of your wishes what if we meet somewhere in the middle of the road? Lets say she is a Vampire but an old one with extraordinarily power phsycic abilities that got captured and experimented on until she could no longer sustain a physical body due to lack of blood sustinence during capture. That in turn almost killed her without help from experiments done to her via the human side.
About the killing to survive part... I dont believe i stated she needed to kill to survive, matter of fact her hosting with Roman keeps her well and dandy, its the natural instinct and euphoric feeling of her sucking the life essence from another that she craves. She doesnt NEED to do it but she really WANTS to. (Exe you dont need to have that piece of chocolate cake but you really want too lol) The host only dies because she kills them out of pity, she shares her mind with them and naturally they cannot handle the pressure making them go insane. (Hence her immense phsycic power)
In short... What if i just say shes just a Phsycic vampire without a physical body stuck in a mist-like form? Also, although she remembers many things from her life as well as her fallen prey, she has major problems deciphering what she used to be thanks to the jumblefluck of memories in her mind with no "physical" mind to process them... Except for Romans of course :)

So did the last RP actually happen and this is the aftermath or are we going with a fresh slate? I would like HIVE to be destroyed and shattered, with only Knight and his son alive.
@Legion-114 This is a remake. Events in previous threads may or may not have happened depending on how Significant they were and how much we want to keep them. For example, Hank May or may not be a vampire in this one. It's up to Remipa. Lady Mohowauk probably really did exist and helped Magnus during his war. We will see if anyone refers to her. But I doubt Adam ever did his vampire-zombie invasion thing, unless it was part of the last war, but currently, thisrp will begin with the world as stated in the first OC post. Things are currently "calm."
Oh, yes you can have HIVE be destroyed. that's ok too.
@Wraithblade6 Eh... I suppose I could bring my two favorite ladies back for a bit of fun. ^___^ Just wondering though, will there be a new location or are we still in Kilo Point?
I'd love to see them again. You always write very real. I may hold off on joining that other rp if I'm gonna be busy with this one though. Only so much time in a day/night. Btw, I'd like if 'Becca and Cammi' had already met Mithias if you want to go with that. Whichever. I just like having pre-woven threads.

Great. So according to Canon Magnus was killed by Bedivere in a rather brutal, and emasculating way before lopping his head off with Excalibur.
"To borrow from Mr. Dahl's works, Lord Shane. You get nothing, you lose, Good Day Sir!"
@Wraithblade6 I'm cool with them knowing Mithias already. Probably just continue from the whole Rebecca not shooting him in the head in New Orleans. I'll post their CS later tonight. At work right now.
I like your bloodline, the Amethyst vampires who originated in Scandanavia. That's a nice part of the world. You'll have to be the spokesperson for that lineage of vampires in the rp, but they can exist. I just have to ask you to make a few small changes....
We can't have vampires able to conjure up more vampires out of clay. Perhaps you could have them steal a human infant and do some blood ritual that turns the baby. The baby would still be "alive," to be able to "grow up," but at some age it would have to become immortalized somehow... Perhaps it lives life as a kind of human thrall to the Amethyst vampires before finally becoming fully vampire. Elaborate on this.
Your other method of turning by biting is ok, but does it just take one single bite? If so, do amethyst vampires always have to kill their victims in order not to overpopulate? Is this why they prefer to feed on criminals and the dying? What about animal blood? Can they bite someone without turning them? Can they enthrall humans in any way?
I like that you have them preferring to live close to nature. That makes them seem somewhat druidic or more primitive. Since werewolves tend to live in the far North in this rp, do they perhaps maintain a friendship?
I'm going to ask that you keep your Amethyst vampire population to small numbers. There can't be many of them in the world. Maybe have them tend to stay in their own territories and have a stable form of society. That being said, how in hell did Nia end up in China???
Powers: Control of "an element" is ok. I think it should fall under the category of a type of telekinesis. Like, controlling air is just telekinetically producing wind. Same kind of thing would go for water or earth. As for why their telekinesis doesn't extend to all objects is unknown, but because of that, I will let them be really powerful at moving wind. If you want to have them control "fire," well, "fire" is not really an element. It's a chemical reaction with oxygen that produces heat. You'd have to have pyrokinesis, which is not quite the same as moving solids, liquids, and gasses around on a macro scale. I have to reserve the "fire" element from you. (plus, other players might want to have fire be their thing)
I think it's fun and interesting that your vampires can benefit from regular food instead of blood. This kind of makes them almost not real vampires, per se. Perhaps you could put something their backstory about them being born from enthralled babies or something... that would make them like some kind of half-vampires. I really don't want to allow dhampires, but I could see a breed of vampire that isn't technically dead/undead."
Any kind of vampire that is technically still living, will likely suffer some drawbacks, such as needing to breathe and having lesser speed and strength or regeneration powers. Stopping their heart, like with a stake, will certainly kill them. Maybe daylight and holy symbols are less of a problem. I noticed Nia has many scars, so I assume her healing ability isn't very good.
During Nia's training with the monks in China, did her supernatural gifts not afford her an advantage? I want to hear more about how being a vampire affected her training.
Otherwise, she looks very interesting. Which element power does Nia have?
Goals/Faction: Hank is an independent Hunter who primarily goes after Vampires that "Step out of line". Though this does not exclude humans or other creatures of the night.
Backstory: Hank grew up fighting. As a kid he would fight for many different reasons. Sometimes it was a local gang, sometimes it was trying to get something he needed to survive, and sometimes it was him trying to defend what he thought was right. This carried over to his time he served in the United States Marine Corps. Despite his great war record he was discharged after his unit was massacred by an unforeseen vampire attack. Out of the 34 soldiers that went in, 6 survived the attack and their injuries, the rest missing. During this attack Hank was able to get a lucky few shots off, successfully tagging a vampire that didn't appreciate Hank's marksmanship.
When Hank returned home from his active duty his nightmares from his career had followed him home. The vampire that he had taken on had not only remembered Hanks face, but had successfully tracked down where he lived. Leaving his family to be massacred as he was returning home. Only to be discovered by the wary soldier.
Over time Hank developed a hatred for anything evil, vampires having the least amount of slack in his personal rules. Hank soon started Hunting down things that stepped out of line, the things that SOLDIER would over look for what ever reason, or something they were too slow to respond to. Living on the road in a mobile home modified for fighting the supernatural Hank feels he is ready to take on the world. Even id it kills him.
Powers/Skills: -Hank has a collection of firearm skills from growing up in rough neighborhoods and from his time in the marines. Over all there is not a gun on the face of the planet that Hank doesn't know how to use or that he can't figure out how to use in a short moment.
-Hand to hand combat is a skill set that Hank picked up as a kid primarily. Learning how to fight with his fist, then soon moving up to knives. The Marine Corps only made sure his fighting skills were up to date.
-Despite Hank's age he is really strong, stronger then the average human being. Not as strong as most vampires though. But the strength he does posses gives him the advantage of being underestimated by his opponents and to buy him time to use his brains to get the upper hand against someone who may be stronger then him.
-Hank overall is a smart person, he is able to think his way out of many situations and he is able to use his intellect to win fights that he normally wouldn't be able to win.
Equipment/Weapons:
Modified to handle heavier rounds and to put up with what ever ammunition Hank has tried to forge
Shotguns, even if it won't kill a vampire it will sure make them remember Hank as they are sent into the next room. Also a much easier model firearm to use custom ammunition with compared to most firearms.
Long enough to sever a head from a safe distance, and sharp enough to do so by someone who doesn't have above average strength. with the 3 foot blade being made from a titanium, steel, and silver alloy, the blade itself is a deadly piece of hardware to anything it has to go against.
Open
Closed
Even though not as sharp as it's monster hunting counterpart, with its ability to fold into small spaces and to be able to cut through a head or neck with some good force, it's one of the best back up weapons on the market. Comes with hidden coat pocket!
Even though in a firefight the chest piece is a bit weaker it makes up for it in its battles against anything with claws. With its ability to take the hit from arched blades and force the blades to either get stuck, break, or sever, it is an invaluable tool when fighting things that are stronger, and that like to think they are meaner then you.
Goals/Faction: Kathryn doesn't really have a side, more of does what ever suits her own needs.
Backstory: After being turned Kathryn ran away from home relatively fast, especially after hearing about her father's most recent combat mission. Living on the road, lusting for human blood, not belonging with anyone, is something that Kathryn never got use to. Surviving off what ever she can scrap up she keeps hiding in the shadows. Weak, scared, and separated from the world she use to know.
Powers/Skills: Being a young vampire she hasn't really developed any powers beyond a few basic abilities. Most of which are useless when dealing with other vampires or humans that know what they are doing.
Equipment/Weapons: -A switch blade knife, despite the fact that she really doesn't need it.
@Remipa Awesome She's totally cool. I'll post her in the Chars tab. Feel free to make modifications and flesh it out a bit more and remind me to update it later.
Eyes are actually as blue as ice. The whites of her eyes turn black when she's angry.
~REBECCA SELIE VALENTINE~
AGE: Unknown (Appears around her late twenties to early thirties)
GENDER: Female
SPECIES: Vampire (Changed sometime during the Renaissance in Venice)
AFFILIATION: Her own side
PERSONALITY: Charming and elegant, a very noble attitude, she could woo you with just a few simple words or with just a look of her eyes. She cares for others and does what's necessary to help those in need, but she fears getting too close to anyone...thinking it may invoke her vampiric side and drive her into bloodlust and mayhem. The only exception to this is her servant/lover Camille. When angered, her personality shifts and she becomes cold, relentless, and violent. Unlike some, Rebecca only pines for the simpler things of life. From day to day, she preoccupies herself with hobbies such as reading classic literature, listening to music at home, playing piano, painting, and has even taken up a bit of swordplay, which she's become a rather avid swordswoman. It's become apparent to some that she enjoys the company of women more than men, possibly even a physical attraction to them. She is also sociable with men, but she has a particular disdain for some, especially if they take advantage of a woman in any way or are cruel to them.
However, despite her sociable nature, she isn't quite fond of working alongside humans.
House Valentine was once the most prominent of families in the Venetian Aristocracy. Baron Renault, Rebecca's father, was a wealthy landowner and a considerably generous philanthropist. He later fell in love with Marianne, a beautiful and famous actress and opera singer, and married, where upon later they had a daughter, Rebecca.
Twas thanks to her mother that Rebecca was raised in an environment steeped in music and the arts. She loved to hear her mother sing and enjoyed watching her plays and her concerts with her father. She even dreamed once of becoming an actress just like her mother, to be adored and talented as she was...but sadly her dreams were cut short. One considerably dark and cloudy night, a stranger clad in black and wearing a mask visited her family's home, and with him....he brought unspeakable horrors. He was tame at first, rather charming to Rebecca, but his advances upon her and her mother became unsettling. Renault soon took notice and kindly, yet firmly he asked the man to leave. He did not.... Instead, the man revealed himself to be a creature of the damned. He murdered Rebecca's family right before her waking eyes, tearing them to pieces with his bare hands and lapping their blood off the floor.
Then, he turned towards Rebecca, a savage gleam in his wicked red eyes. She tried to run away, far into the darkness of the forest surrounding her family's lavish abode, but he was too quick for her. Soon he caught her and pinned her to the ground ripping away her dress and defiling her once pure essence with his malice. Once the vile act was committed, the creature took her limp and lifeless body, tied stones to her ankles, and tossed her into a lake, never to be seen again... Tales of his massacre would spread like wildfire, but the killer's identity would never be known....except by one.
Years past since that horrific night, a lowly fisherman out on his evening stroll discovered the woman's body after his hook snagged onto her. He pulled the seemingly dead woman out of the lake, but right as the full, crimson moon shined upon her corpse, Rebecca sprung to life instantly and attacked the man, draining him until he was nothing but a dried husk. She fled back to her home, only to find it in ruins, every last ounce of her family legacy gone in ashes. An anger surged within her as she looked to the charred remains of her family's mansion, her eyes becoming dark as the ash that surrounded her. Rebecca could see him again, his vile smirk, his despicable eyes leering with bloodlust.
But worse....she had become just like him...a creature of the undead...a Vampire. From that day forward, she swore vengeance upon them, all of them, for killing her family, destroying her home...and turning her into a monster. For several years she's traveled about the world, learning of different supernatural horrors such as the dreaded vampires and how to slay them efficiently. She steeped herself not only in the knowledge of her cause, but also that of literature, music, art, and whatever else caught her fancy, even...a few beautiful maidens here and there. Nevertheless, she kept her true identity as a Nosferatu hidden from the outside world, only indulging her savage bloodlust out of need for survival. The few who knew what she was were only those closest to her, be it a friend or a lover, and some willingly allowed Rebecca to feed from them. Now in the modern era, Rebecca finds herself in the United States with a considerable amount of wealth and a new thrall/assistant by her side named Camille. She still seeks to avenge her family's death by tracking down and killing the Vampire who murdered them, yet she has also turned her attention towards recent events. Rebecca has also gained another ally in a mysterious male vampire she spared reluctantly during an investigation of a coven in New Orleans She's mostly used him as an informant, but his services always came with a hefty price. (Hope that's cool with you @Wraithblade6)
POWERS:
Rebecca's powers are mostly affiliated with darkness, such as shadow manipulation, etc. Other abilities of hers include telepathy, the ability to enter people's dreams and tamper with them, and to hypnotize others with her charm.
ABILITIES/FAULTS:
Rebecca is noted for being quite agile, dexterous, and acrobatic, not to mention having enhanced phsyical strength and stamina and an extensive knowledge of firearms and bladed weapons, though she is more fond of the former over the latter. Her eyes are more developed than the average human being too, allowing her to see from further distances with crystal clear accuracy. Rebecca also has considerable pain tolerance, almost feeling no pain at all. Working as a private detective too has gained her some notoriety for her amazing investigative skills, namely her eidetic memory and her keen observation. However, she is a shrewd judge of character, trusting no one other than those closest to her. This has caused her at times to come off as cold, and has sometimes made her more enemies than friends or lovers.
OTHER:
Aside from her pistol, most if not all of Rebecca's weapons are keepsakes from her many travels across time. Some of them carry some fond memories for her, while others are just simply tools she utilizes for killing the damned creatures of the night.
Nightshade:
Rebecca is skilled with quite a few swords and bladed weapons, but her favorite above all is Nightshade, a special katana she picked up during her travels in Japan in the early 1800s. The sword in actuality was forged by a hidden sect of vampire hunters in the Yamanashi prefecture in Japan, not to mention they made some of the best sake she had ever drunken. Sporting a razor sharp edge, it's the perfect tool for lopping off a few limbs and delivering quick decapitations.
Miseria:
A short silver dagger for those sticky situations.
In World War II Germany, rumors had spread of the Nazis using a blend of science and occult magick to produce an army of super soldiers and make Adolf Hitler immortal. The end result was the creation of Sanguinarius, the modern vampire strain. Soon, vampire attacks were rampant all throughout Europe in the late 1930s as the war pushed on, but quickly covered up by government officials to prevent widespread panic. A special order of hunters was established then to eradicate the sanguinarian threat and any other supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, Rebecca had a run in with one of these hunters when she was chasing a vampire in Dresden...and visiting one of the SS brothels for a bit of nightly fun. She had no choice but to kill him, but kept his silver dagger as a memento.
Small and concealable under any circumstances, there's a special compartment in the hilt of the dagger for a vial of wolfsbane nectar, salt, silver filings, holy water, whatever the hunter wished to carry.
Thorns of the Saint
Sharpened and honed for the utmost aerodynamic design. They can be deployed rapidly in a cloud of deadly projectiles for a more wide ranged kill, maybe to get rid of a pesky gaggle of ghouls. These special throwing knives were a gift to her from a nun during her stint in an Irish convent in the 1960s, when a rash of brutal, grisly murders were taking the country by storm. Turns out it wasn't vampires, but werewolves. Nevertheless, Rebecca stayed on task, though it wasn't easy being around so much religious paraphernalia. At least that sweet nun keeping her company made the duration of her stay easier.
~Carmen~
If there's one thing Rebecca loves more than alcohol, women, and of course the occasional taste of blood, its style and accessibility, which is why she chose this sleek silver plated Beretta 92FS compact as her main firearm. Though it fires a meager 9mm Parabellum round, it still packs a punch against vampires and werewolves alike. The ammunition was specially designed by Rebecca to dispatch the horrors of the supernatural world, bullets made from a silver cross from St. Thomas' Holy Church in Manhattan, also coated in a deadly concoction of salt, ashes of Saint Croix and holy water, which can cripple any creature of Hell in less than a few seconds.
CHARACTER THEME:
You're Not Here - by Akira Yamaoka and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn
Eyes are actually emerald Green. Often they'll become feral and cat-like if she's either angry or excited.
-CAMILLE "CAMMIE" BELLE WINTERS-
AGE: 19 (16 when she was turned by Rebecca)
GENDER: Female
SPECIES: Vampire
AFFILIATION: Rebecca's side
PERSONALITY: A bit shy around other people besides her mistress, she's a rather plucky and cheerful kind of girl with a bubbly attitude and an optimistic outlook on life. She adores things such as cute clothes, animals, and things that make her happy, and she loves to cook and make others smile. However, in an instant her personality can shift and she can become aggressive and violent. Cammie may seem like a push-over, but what she lacks in strength she makes up for in fierce devotion. To Rebecca alone Cammie is devoted to serving her and protecting her as well. She also has an intimate and emotional connection with the woman and becomes jealous when she sees others flirting with Rebecca, often to the point of lashing out at them. Because of her abilities as well, she has the utmost respect for the dead.
Camille however doesn't share much of the same zeal as her Mistress when it comes to slaying vampires and other creatures of horror. Nevertheless, she keeps her qualms unnoticed, staying devoted to the woman she will love and protect till the end. Like her mistress, she doesn't feel comfortable working with humans either, mostly because she is afraid of them. She's not too fond either of their vampire informant, often calling him old man.
Cammie was always a strange girl. She never made friends in school, often because she was ridiculed, and most of the time she stayed locked in her bedroom lost in her own little world, due to her abusive alcoholic father and her neglectful mother. Sometimes, she would even sneak out after dark and stay in the cemetery, speaking with the ghosts that resided there and learning of their stories. Cammie's powers are believed to have emerged after she was born dead then came back to life, supposedly gaining a link between the world of the living and the dead. Slowly her abilities manifested and by the time she was twelve, she began to develop her mind reading powers and her precognitive vision. Though as amazing as these were, it didn't do much but alienate her from the rest of the world. She was constantly bullied in school and her parents only ignored her further.
Then one night while she snuck out to the cemetery, Cammie saw a bunch of high school boys kicking over gravestones and spraying graffiti on the mausoleums. Angry, she tried to confront them, but they overpowered her and one by one they took turns beating her and savaging her until she was nearly dead. Bleeding, bruised, and nearly every inch of her body in pain, she could barely move. Then one of the boys pulled out a switchblade and started cutting into her shirt. Cammie closed her eyes, knowing what these sick bastards had in mind, knowing that she couldn't escape from it. She bit her lip and feared the worst...until...she felt something warm splash against her. She opened her eyes and discovered a woman, seething with anger, her eyes black as the pit of Hell. In her blood drenched hand she held the heart of the boy, freshly ripped from his chest and bit into it ravenously. The others soon ran away in fear, screaming into the night, yet Cammie, try as she may she couldn't squirm away from this ghastly horror.
As it turned out though....maybe she didn't want to...as the woman's face returned to normal, displaying such beauty Cammie's eyes ever beheld. The mysterious woman knelt beside her, cradling the beaten girl in her arms and looking upon her with eyes that showed worry and compassion. "They're gone now..." She whispered to Cammie. "They won't hurt you again...." She could sense that Cammie was slowly dying and in a last act to save her, she asked the girl, "Girl...are you willing to accept eternal life, despite what it should entail?" Weakly Cammie nodded, her eyes widening as she saw....fangs...in the woman's mouth.
She knew who...or rather what she was in the presence of, but nevertheless...she accepted knowing she would be turned into one. The woman's fangs plunged into her neck and she drank of her crimson nectar. Softly Cammie whimpered and her body went limp in the woman's grasp...everything around her growing...dark.. From that day forward, Cammie had abandoned everything. She no longer cared for friends or for her ungrateful parents. Forever faithful she remained to the very woman who saved her life and gave it back to her anew. The vampire Rebecca.
POWERS:
Before she was turned by Rebecca, Cammie had some psychic powers. She can see and speak to the dead and read the minds of whoever she touches, also she can receive visions from objects she touches as well, such as an item belonging to a person.
ABILITIES/FAULTS:
Like Rebecca, Camille is agile but fairly clumsy and has some swordplay under her belt, but not as good as her Mistress. Where Camille excels most is in marksmanship. She's a good shot with almost any firearm and can hit her targets with the utmost accuracy from even a great distance. Over time she has learned a few martial arts as well, meaning she can hold her own quite efficiently against unarmed foes. And over time she has become a formidable hacker, mostly utilizing this skill to get her Mistress out of sticky situations or to sabotage their enemies. It has also served in gathering valuable information during their many hunts/investigations.
OTHER:
Camille was trained by Rebecca for years to fight alongside her, the woman teaching her everything she knew about supernatural creatures and how to kill them. Cammie was well versed in firearms, swordplay, hand to hand combat, and of course marksmanship. She's a good shot with any firearm and can hold her own quite well in close quarters, but much to her chagrin, her Mistress will not allow her to engage any enemies at close range. Rebecca has strongly suggested that Camille act as her overwatch instead, not to chide her but to make sure her beloved thrall is safe.
DMR-58 Hekate II
Chambering a skull crushing .308 Winchester round (7.62x51 NATO), this rifle was made for Camille to Rebecca's exact specifications. This rifle is fairly light, can be easily broken down for transport and fires highly damaging explosive bullets, using a detachable four round box magazine. Additionally, the high power scope has built in lenses adaptable to any level of light, even pitch darkness. Top that with the impressive range of this weapon and you have one hell of a gun for any hunter of the UHC. It's Camille's favorite weapon so far.
Rose of Sharyn
More or less a get out of jail free card for Camille. This switchblade knife is easily concealable under any circumstances and even has a special modification. The cross on the handle is a small button. When pressed, it activates a stream of holy water, housed within the blade, that can be injected into a vampire or werewolf once it has been stabbed.
Lilium
In the event she is surrounded by a gang of vampires or werewolves, Camille has this to fight her way out, at least until her Mistress comes to rescue her. Designed similar to Rebecca's Nightshade by the descendants of the Japanese vampire hunters, this katana was forged with serrations in the blade for maximum damage and to saw through the thick hide of werewolves. Rarely has Camille used it in combat, since Rebecca keeps putting her at far range from any danger, but it has saved her skin a few times.
~White Knight~
Camille's preferred sidearm. Unlike Rebecca, she sacrificed concealability for stopping power, going with the Colt 1911 platform and its more powerful .45 ACP round. Still, she uses the same style of ammunition. Coupling this with the raw power of a .45, she can punch quite a nasty hole in a vampire's gut.
