@Legion02 - Excellent. Do let me know when he's done and I'll give him a review.
@Dealdric@Duoya@Leotamer@Lord Zee@Rune_Alchemist - I have reviewed your CS's and they are accepted. You have my confirmation and are free to post these characters into the character tab.

I have also created a list for that page with three categories: Those of The World, Those of Man and Those Who Came After. Basically those of the World are all the oldest gods, all born roughly close to one another in time span. Those of Man came shortly after them, gods and goddesses formed from domains born of humankind. Lastly there are Those Who Came After which are the youngest, coming after all the others. You are all free to discuss with others in the same bracket where you stand with one another age-wise but this is the general setup as far as determining who or what came when.

@ReusableSword - You are welcome to put forward a CS or even a WIP-CS to claim the domain for now. I must note that your god cannot have more than one domain to start. There will be opportunities to claim additional domains within the rp itself once underway but in the beginning everyone only gets one. I look forward to seeing your god nonetheless.

Edit: I am currently adapting Oao's CS to the new setup. Once ready I'll post her in the Characters tab and then get to work on the opening post while finishing off my review and acceptance of the remaining CS's.

@Lord Zee - Basically just gorgenmast for the time being. Don't worry, I was just reiterating what you just said previously.
@gorgenmast- A shame. I wish you luck in your future endeavors all the same.

@Lord Zee - I'll include the map on the main OOC post once it's updated to exclude the realms of absent deities.
Good morning everyone! I have updated the CS portion thus making for a complete OOC page. Now, as I've made some changes I'll naturally need to go through and check each CS before running approvals for you all to bring your gods over to the CS tab. I understand a few of you also probably have questions regarding my changes to the former story, especially seeing as some of it's been obfuscated for story purposes.

@Vega7 - Indeed they can. Gods can invest portions of their powers into mundane beings or items at a temporary cost of their own power. The only thing that cannot be made by gods are other gods since only Divine Cords can grant the everlasting life and power over a domain that sets them above all lower beings.

@jetipster - In this world gods are born when Divine Cords appear, the god forming around them like the pearl of a clam. The domain that the cord is attuned to is the domain that god essentially embodies as they are formed from it. Nobody knows why gods are made this way or where the Divine Cords come from, this has simply been the way it's happened since gods first appeared.

@Lord Zee - As far as the strength of gods is concerned neither time nor worship matters. All gods hold relatively the same strength in regards to their own domain with things such as physical strength largely being randomly decided when they are born. Time can bring knowledge and wisdom as well as the opportunities to accumulate followers and resources. Crafting powerful items and gathering armies can be just as useful as learning to better control one's own domain/domains at times.

- I am proud to announce that the thread is now (more or less) complete! All I have left for the OOC is to write up a CS frame for new players. It won't be too different from this rp's one. Feel free to read through what I've stirred up, discuss and post your CS's again so I can have a gander because a couple tweaks will likely be needed. It'll probably be nothing major, just some minor details.

Tabrasa\- Born of Chaos.

Sorry for double posting here by the way. Just thought I'd garner up some extra attention for the actual reveal and such.

Edit: I'll be asleep for a bit but I'll get some responses up when I awake.

Before the age of man
Before the age of gods
There was

T a b r a s a

None remember how it came to be. The world, it's wilds or even the beasts that roam it's face. When the first gods were born so too were the first of mankind. Since that day many more gods have been born into this world, each one formed around the many facets of reality. Light, Darkness, Fire, Ice, Earth, Winds, Waters and more are seen to by the beings who embody these very concepts.

They are shaped around a mysterious material known only as "Divine Cords", a strange string-like essence understood by none. It is this essence that separates gods from mortals and the inanimate. It is said the one who discovers the secret to harnessing the Divine Cords will transcend godhood itself to become the god of gods.

But there are more mysteries than that, both for men and deity alike. Those who know the ground and what lay beneath know that at the heart of the world lays a core encompassed by a great black shroud that is impenetrable to all known forces. None have seen behind the shroud, no matter the attempts thus far.

And while the dreams of men may be minded by gods the dreams of gods are minded by something else. The only evidence of this beings works lay in a dream the gods sometimes find themselves in. It is a dream of a dark cloudy land where nothing is distinct save a massive gate formed from a worn golden metal which has long lost it's luster from all appearances. None have seen past this gate for all attempts to break through it within these dreams have failed and they seem to scale upwards in an endless ascent no matter how far one flies to try and get above it.

So come. Shape the destinies of man and beast alike, Get tangled in the dreams and ambitions of fellow gods or strive to uncover the great mysteries within the lands of Tabrasa.

Welcome!

To all newcomers and previous attendees to my take on this rp concept. As those returning from the other rp may note I've changed the background a certain amount. The changes aren't massively different from what was presented before however I've decided to keep what few details I've added secret for the sake of a semi-overarching plot which should provide some more things for our lovely deities to concern themselves with when they aren't embroiled in internal politics and strife or partying with one another and having fun. Overall I encourage everyone to imbue their gods and goddesses with driving ambition and gusto so as to make this exciting tale all the more interesting!
