Back again! Yay! Now back to business proper.

@Lmpkio - Your CS is looking quite nice thus far.

As far as the map is concerned once all the gods with physical locales are set and after I make the first post I'll move the map onto the front page of the OOC tab as it's pretty much what I'm going with in terms of geography since it's nicer looking than whatever I could cook up.

@Vega7 - I've got your character listed in the page top roster of the characters tab now that I have the time.

For everyone else if you've gotten my permission to submit your character to the characters tab and I haven't updated the gods list to include yours do let me know so I can get them up there. I try to remember these things but alas I am sadly human.

@Dealdric - Of course. Do let us know when they're finished, I'd like to read them.

Just a general update: I should have the first post done by tomorrow. If not I'll be sure to keep you all apprised of my progress so you can know just how far along I am with it.

I also wish to thank everyone so far with helping one another along, answering questions and the like. I hope you all will enjoy what I have in store and I look forward to seeing all your characters in play.
@thewizardguy - Unfortunately I cannot bend on that particular detail as I have a number of reasons for having entrances function as they do. My main reason for this pertains to events before the gods even came to be so I cannot discuss it without spoiling undiscovered lore. My second reason is that the necessity for physical entrances isn't a benefit, it's a drawback. With moving entrances that are inaccessible to anyone without the host deity's permission it would allow people to essentially appear and disappear without any real risk or difficulty. While a god may have supreme reign over their own realm so long as they have entrances that can realistically be found they always stand a risk of being cut off from the world or losing it all as it spills into the void while they're away. This creates a dynamic where no type of realm is without weakness. Realms in sub-space are much safer normally but stand the risks mentioned above. Realms set in the physical world of Tabrasa don't have such security but also do not have to worry about having their stuff suddenly emptied into the void. There are always ways to protect one's entrances of course and they can be destroyed and, with a bit of effort, created at any time. My apologies if that creates complications with your conceptual design for the realm.

@Vega7 - So long as it's acknowledged that the perceived movements of these entrances to his realm are a result of him destroying and recreating them you may have my permission to post your character over in the Characters tab.

I'd go into more detail but my day is quite hectic. I'll be back later.
@Archangel89 - Generally speaking gods can influence most things but to a much lesser degree than gods who belong to the domain being influenced. For example if Dirka, goddess of magic, tried to turn steel swords into snakes but Ferron didn't want her to Ferron's power would win out since swords are made of steel and not magic.

So in short it's entirely possible for Iarus to make snake people. He'll just have less sway over them directly than some other gods may.

Edit: It also may cost a great deal more effort to create them than it would for gods with relevant domains like animal gods.
@ZekariVoblis - Excellent to hear. If you do bring a character forth I look forward to seeing them.

@thewizardguy - While the basic principle of a sub-space realm where normal laws of reality don't work quite as they should is fine I must ask that the entrances be a little more concrete. As they are required to be rooted in the main realm in order to bridge the gap between the two the same principles that govern other doorways to sub-space realms apply to them no less. Upon his realm's creation these entrances can be as few or as numerous as desired but they must be solid and destructible objects. Due to a rule unknown to even the gods built into the world these entrances can't be moved either. New entrances can always be built and old ones can be removed but once set these entrances remain fixed to the location they are set until they are destroyed. One thing Sommler can do is imbue his entrances with divine properties designed to make it harder for unwanted guests to intrude upon his realm.

@Lord Zee - Being a goddess afflicting mundane beings is well within her power. Given the size and duration of the curse I'd suspect it would have exhausted her a fair bit for a decent while, perhaps even on a continual basis if she wanted to maintain a constant feed of divine power to this curse to keep it from waning with time as all things do.

As a final mention for everyone I'll continue working on the opening post over the next couple of days. If I had to set a rough estimate of the anticipated start time I'd say likely the day after tomorrow since tomorrow I'll be having guests, eating up a fair bit of my time that day. Everyone who's interested in joining is still free to join as we'll have plenty of time to introduce new gods during this introductory period. After a couple of pages or so any new gods will have to be born into the current running continuity so as to not require retroactive continuity.

I must admit I'm quite excited to start this rp up. I'm quite happy so many have taken an interest and hopefully what I've set up should hopefully make for an entertaining story.
@Kalas - Indeed. None know if such gods even exist let alone who they have sired.
Good evening everyone. Sorry for the delays, I've been sandwiched between sleep and my monitor's near death experience. Getting straight back to business now.

@jetipster@Kalas@Archangel89@Legion02@thewizardguy - I have reviewed your characters and have confirmed their validity. They are accepted and you are welcome to submit them to the characters tab.

Edit: @Legion02 I will note that Ragnagedon's theories of his and the other god's origins may largely be the result of his delirium as not even the other gods know what's responsible for their creation.

@ZekariVoblis - In a sense. The timeline more or less begins at early man so gods that are present then will still be relatively young for the time being. There will always be opportunities for new gods to arrive later at specific instances.
@Noodles - Of course! There's nothing wrong with embodying a facet of human life such as that. Should make for some interesting relations to certain other gods like Ferron the god of metals.
You have my interest. I'm curious to see more of what this world offers.
@Kalas - I am as well. Looking forward to seeing Azhriel again.

I've got Oao up and I'll be working on the IC post. I'll probably have it up in about three days largely because I want to make sure everyone's got their character up and reviewed to be accepted before I start. I'll have it written up sooner then but the actual submission will come no later than three days from now. The opening post will largely deal with Oao since I want to let everyone set themselves up without much interference from myself for the first round of posts.
@ReusableSword - All details are accounted for and as far as written content is concerned he is good to go. You have my permission to submit him to the Characters tab when you feel he's ready.
