She was relieved to see that Calypso had Dakota to help her out since she had been having a particularly rough go since the very beginning of the ritual though it seemed like a few others were slowly running into their own problems as well. It definitely hadn’t gone smoothly for a good portion of them but at least most of them had come together to help each other, the Elders stepping in where they were needed. Hana didn’t see anyone else that was currently needing assistance, which meant she also didn’t have any more reason to stall or hang around the area. A bubble of panic started to form in her gut, a clawing fear trying to grip hold of her once more now that her attention was drawn away from focusing on the ritual or her fellow witches. She felt like the trees were closing in, trapped at the wellspring, the beauty of the place fading as her vision tried to blurry and shakes started back up.

It was fine, she just needed to get to the entrance and make her way back. It wasn’t that far away right? She couldn’t recall though, it had felt like an eternity before and her legs were even more wobbly now. Would she even be able to make it? Would she end up passed out like Summer or in a worse panic attack than Maggie? She felt like her breathing was about to go ragged when a voice brought her back out of it a bit, her attention turning to Arken as he spoke. It felt far away but at least it kept her a little grounded, though she was still in pretty bad shape. It took her a second or two longer to process what he said exactly before she found herself responding, ”N-No problem, Arken. H-Happy to help!”. Her voice had come out shaky and slightly more like a squeak but at least she had answered. It was almost a relief when his attention moved on to Summer who had just been woken up. It didn’t seem like she was interested in talking much which she couldn’t blame her for. It must have been a bit embarrassing to be one of the people to pass out, though it was most likely karma being a bitch.

It was a startling surprise that Summer had thanked the Elder for healing her which caused a bright blush to rise on Hana’s face at the unknowing compliment. It was for the best that Summer had her focus on the Elder, not really needing the extra attention herself. That was the last thing she wanted. She quickly took this as a great cue to leave and swiftly headed for the exit, yanking off the cloak as did. It helped to have a bit more movement and something to hug to her chest like a stuffed animal as she walked, the grip of her fingers no longer having to dig into the palms of her hands. The trip back seemed a little better since it was headed out of the trapped area that housed the wellspring or at least that is what she thought at first. Hana was starting to very much regret not waiting to head back as the path was darker since she didn’t have the lanterns the elders had possessed. It made everything feel much more creepy, unnerving and she couldn’t wait to be back at the porch which would feel much more comforting. The worst part of the night was over or at least that is what she told herself on repeat, trying to push through the tunnel and back up the hill to the party.

Mood: At least it isn’t all bad

If anyone entered, Hathor hadn’t noticed and tried her best to tune out the noise of those that had already gathered. It wasn’t that the gods and goddesses were bad to be around, heck, sometimes their antics were enjoyable to watch but this was just not her day. She could hardly keep herself from bouncing or tapping her foot in irritation, the lack of sleep and memories from the past making frustration rise at the situation of the Conclave and disappointment to flood her that more horrible news was just on the horizon. Nothing good ever came from these group get togethers after all so she wasn’t going to put hope into wishing differently. She would much rather be at home right now doing stars forbid anything else other than this.

She felt the vibration of an incoming text message beneath her fingertips but chose to ignore it for the time being, knowing she could answer it later or that the person would probably understand. After all, most of the people that even possessed her phone number were people that would either be arriving soon or humans that knew she should be sleeping right now. Instead, she let her attention be pulled into some random mind numbing game on her phone to keep her entertained until people she was more familiar with made an appearance. She didn’t know how much time had passed while she lazily swiped and clicked her phone but it all grounded to a halt when she heard a feminine voice speaking to her. Hathor’s muscles tensed, her hard gaze sliding slowly away from her phone only for her eyes to land upon Bastet.

She felt herself relax, the almost glare she had recently been sporting lightening up, her appearance resembling more of a defeated look as a weak smile pulled at her lips at her sister’s question.
”Is it that obvious?”, she sighed, tucking her phone away and trying to relax. She could tell that she must be more on edge than she realized since Bastet seemed careful in her approach. It wasn’t fair to take her bad mood out on anyone else even though she desperately wanted to snap at someone or do something to get rid of these negative emotions. She took a deep breath, smiling a little more normal as she decided to try and stir the conversation elsewhere than her plaguing nightmares.”How have you been? How are the three precious furbabies?”, she asked, honestly wanting to know how her sister's life was going.

Her dark eyes drew their attention away from the woman next to her as Zeus entered, announcing to the group that he had brought danishes for everyone. She didn’t really know him personally but she had definitely heard stories, some may or may not involving goats but that wasn’t even close to the other treatments of his many...many children. It made it hard to want to really jump into knowing the Greek God. He was apparently trying to make it right but even then, she was skeptical. However, the danishes were doing wonders on getting on her good side for the morning since her stomach was protesting at the lack of breakfast, coffee only taking her so far. She debated on snagging one once the box was set down. Not all danishes were good but anything had to be better than nothing and if her name was already in the pot then might as well snag one. Hathor was dreaming of what kind she could weasel out of the box when someone literally came barreling in. One could even say it was a flawless entrance as the man had at least ended up on his feet by the end of his tuck and roll.

Hathor felt herself bite back a chuckle, a bright grin lighting up her face as she leaned down to grab her thermos, taking a sip of coffee. At least having her sister here and a few small positives to make her smile had helped her feel a little more like herself. As she set it back down in its place, she heard a good morning which drew her attention to the speakers knees before slowly dragging her eyes up, pausing for a moment to admire a fine set of abs before tilting her head to look at a pair of blue eyes and a bright smile that was a bit on the goofy side but it just worked. She sat back up, raising a brow at the overused pick up lines or at least one she had heard plenty at the club. It still made her smile as she replied,
”I don’t but maybe you can change my mind.”

SI WONG CITY
Location: Tea & La

Steam and smoke wafted through the air, bringing with it the smell of campfire and various teas being brewed. Floor to ceiling shelves lined the walls of the room, each one filled to the brim with a multitude of different plants, dried flowers, dried fruits, and completed tea mixes which were contained in labeled jars. Fresh herbs hung from the ceiling, being prepared for use but were of little help currently other than providing some new scents to join the mix and maybe some pleasing aesthetics. Brown lace up boots with a black toed front clunked against the wooden floor with each step as the only occupant flitted busily about to check on the cauldrons, keeping the fires going, and setting up the tea sets for each table. She was used to keeping busy, usually having to time everything perfectly so that she could take care of both customers and brew. Now, the ruckus of sound and voices from the other side of her crafting room were no longer her concern, at least not until her newest server made up his time.

Kyouna hadn’t been sure what to think when she had been approached about Jemmu serving out a punishment at her tea shop, the parents hoping to show the boy some humility. Honestly, she wasn’t sure if that would end up working in their favor, the choice up to Jemmu himself on whether he learned anything from this experience but she had needed the help. The Yang’s could only be there so much and the shop was becoming more and more popular with each passing day that it was growing harder to keep it up by herself. It was the reason why she had accepted though she could only hope it didn’t cause her more trouble in the end. He seemed like a good kid though and sure, he might have done something a little over the top but isn’t that what kids did. Life was not without its consequences though and that was the case here. She was still waiting for the day when her own actions might hold their consequences, something she couldn’t stop thinking of when she saw Jemmu, her mind wondering about Akolo.

She shook her head to rid those thoughts, the high ponytail of long ebony hair swishing along with the movement before she reached for the rag at her hip, wiping her brow of sweat. The crafting room could get smoldering with all the different flames which added to the already intense heat of the desert and not even tying her kimono or a ponytail would completely help, though she was used to that problem by now. Kyouna shoved the rag back into her apron, moving into a stance with her feet and raising her hands up, bending the tea from the cauldron she was focused on and ready to move it to one of the pots. She might not be the most graceful or proficient bender but at least moving water wasn’t a struggle or at least when there wasn’t something to distract you. It was precisely for this reason that it all fell apart halfway to the teapot when an ethustic chime of the nickname Jemmu had given her rang out.

Kyouna desperately tried not to groan in frustration or agony at the beautiful piece of art that was her tea, spilt onto her nice wooden floor. Instead, she ran her hand down her face and went to grab a cloth to clean up while listening to the boy about wanting to talk to her about something. She nodded gently as she got onto her knees, working on cleaning up as she listened to him talk and ending up chuckling, the negative emotions from the disruption and ruined tea leaving her mind rather quickly. “Oh, is it now? I’ll try to keep that in mind when I see something disapproving though forgive me if I end up correcting you anyway.” she teased, continuing to wipe up the floor and knowing it would have to be scrubbed over lightly with water and soap so it wouldn’t become sticky. “As for your work efforts, you are doing a fine job and I will let your mother know as much. I don’t expect you to be perfect when you have only begun your journey. The idea of blisters is concerning though, are you alright? Do you need me to heal it for you?” Kyouna asked, worry etched on her features as she stood up immediately and moved closer to take a look.

It wouldn’t do to have blisters, firebender or not. The last thing she wanted was for him to be hurt and not when she could easily solve the issue. She was about to take a real look when he stated he had one last thing and the question left her raising an eyebrow. She knew what his punishments were supposed to be, laid out before her so that she could keep him to that line but on the same hand, she had lived with a strict parent and knew what it was like to feel trapped in the same never ending loop and with no fun. It was a hard choice and ultimately she felt herself crumbling. “Only the first day and already asking for time off? What am I gonna do with you?” Kyouna chuckled before sighing. “Alright, I’ll let you go but don’t get into any more trouble while you are gone. You mess up and you are on your own. I will play dumb. Just make sure you go home on time. Don’t make me regret this and maybe I’ll let you go early sometimes as our secret. Okay?” she smiled before making her way to the customer section of the shop and working on taking up new orders with a friendly ‘Welcome to Tea & La, what can I get for you today?’.

Once Jess had caught up to Will with a few others by her side, he proceeded to paint a picture that hinted heavily toward the problems within his home life. She really wasn’t sure if that was still an issue for him but the feeling of blame, that he was at fault for all these years was very clear. She couldn’t even imagine what it must have been like to have your sister pass in such a way and then believe that she must have hated you. No wonder the journal had so much meaning to him because not only was it a part of her, it was obviously answers to some of his questions. The burning need to know more would be how she would have felt in his shoes. He read a passage about an old mine and while she was all game for exploration, mines were dangerous. New ones could threaten collapse if you weren’t careful or if something went wrong and they were now talking about an old one.

If it wasn’t already collapsed then it might be blocked off. If they did manage to get past that, there was no guarantee that the lighting system would still work. She wasn’t sure if ten years would hold the same clues as they had for his sister but maybe they could find a clue or something she had left behind. She was all game to help but they needed to be smart. Her dad had always told her to be prepared when going into any situation. Were they prepared? She wasn’t sure. Jess looked to Will then, studying him for a moment and deciding that this time, it might be best to roll with the punches and think on her feet. If they really couldn’t get through it then they would try again once they had prepared.
”Sounds like as good a place as any other to start with but far away is it? And where is it exactly?”, Jess chuckled nervously, not wanting to hold them up but she was lacking a car or experience of the town itself. She hoped she could just follow one of them or possibly catch a ride.

SNAP

Plumes of smoke billowed into the air, ash and embers drifting on the breeze as day turned into night. Ruin, destruction, and mayhem spreading like frenzied chaos causing terror in its wake as people ran in hopes to escape. No one was safe, hiding would mean the end and running didn’t necessarily increase the chances of life if that decision was made. The streets ran red, the fallen scattered about the ground, buildings toppled over to rumble, and the screams of the living echoed in the distance.

CRACK

Pain and suffering were found in every corner of the unfortunate city. The actions of a few now falling onto the innocent, punished for sins and crimes they did not commit. It wasn’t meant to be this way. This has not been the plan. No one would have suspected the events that had taken place would unfold into such a tragedy. No others were meant to be harmed, only those that had justly deserved what had befallen them at that time but it mattered not now.

RIP

The coppery metallic taste in her mouth was better than the sweetest of wines and made her crave more with each taste. The scattering at just the sight of her was just amusing and the need to chase thrilling. The sounds of screams were a symphony in her ear but it wasn’t enough. The rage she felt was a rush of poison flowing into her veins giving her a dose of pain that resided by the pleasure, tainting and dulling it. She wanted them all to suffer. They deserved it. They had connived, deciding to threaten one who was precious to her. It had been so extreme that he had come to her for assistance. They had shown no remorse for their vows to harm. Why should she?

CHUNK

She tossed the unwanted part aside, this plaything no longer fun. It was time to move on to another. She felt like she was in a haze, gliding as she moved in what was like an unseeing fog. She reveled in the destruction she had laid upon this city, her blood thirsty nature brought out when placing justice but that nagging in the back her mind kept clawing at her. What was wrong? She was doing as she was supposed to, right? Why didn’t she feel happy like she should? Why did she still feel the undeniable urge to maim everything in her path? She wanted to scream her anger at the world! What was holding her back? A noise caught her attention, a young mother meeting her gaze with fear in her eyes. Her heart hurt….why did she look like that? No woman should look like that….no mother should fear in such a way…...the cry rang in her ears felt painful, echoing endlessly.

”Hathor, what have you done?”

The haze she had been under faded, the sounds of a silky rich voice making its way to her ears. She took in the sight of all she had done. Guilty, agony, terror, and shame boiling in her, shaky hands covering her mouth as she felt like she might hurl.

”I didn’t ask for this. They were innocent. Can you live with yourself? With their blood and souls on your hands?”

”I didn’t mean to! I-I would never...this is a mistake.she whimpered, tears springing into her eyes as she gripped her head.

”It’s all your fault. You did this. How can you live with yourself?

”Please stop...I’m sorry! Forgive me!

”Oh Hathor, it’s not me that you should be begging for forgiveness from….it’s them…”

Her eyes widened, turning to view the sea of people looking at her with sadness and some in anger, the look of betrayal etched on all their faces. Some asked for a reason, others screamed at her, the blame and consequences set on her shoulders weighing her down. Hands grabbed at her, souls of her victims dragging her down, and swarming her. The voices and cries echoing and all too much, an overwhelming sensation that left her feeling strangled and without voice. She could barely see, the world around her getting further from her reach as darkness set in, the light of the sun abandoning her, and the voices never stopping their torture.

Please stop...Stop it...leave me alone...I SAID…”

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

”STOP!!”, she cried out in a panic while jolting up from her bed, tears streaming down her cheeks and shaking like a leaf. Her body felt covered in sweat, her baggy nightshirt clinging to her body and her hair trying to stick to her damp cheeks. Her hand automatically reached out to the space next to her, finding it empty and loneliness creeping up on her as she placed her head in her hands. She curled up in a ball and took deep breaths, trying to get control of herself. It was in the past, she wasn’t always like that. She wouldn’t become like that again. It was a mistake. Hathor’s train of thought was snagged from her, her phone chiming with an alarm and she slowly moved out of her protective ball to grab it. Why the hell had she set a damn alarm after a late night? The title of the alarm said it all though and made a frown etch on her features. Of course, just her luck that today was the Conclave when she had little to no sleep and a nightmare to boot.

Hathor sighed, scrubbing her hands through her untamed mass of curls before resting them on the back of her neck. Nothing good ever came from wallowing on what was. She should just focus on the now, one step at a time and right now, the first step was a shower then coffee or maybe something stronger. She threw off the covers, leaving the bed a mass of tangled sheets and scattered pillows which would be future Hathor’s problem and headed for a well deserved shower, chucking off her clothes as she went. After the much needed shower, she was at least feeling like somewhat of a human being which wasn’t close to any way she wanted to feel being a goddess but better than the wreck she felt like earlier. She yanked off the towel from her body, using it to dry her hair a bit as she moved to the kitchen, working on grabbing the coffee grounds from the pantry and getting a thermos for the road. She would need as much time as possible to get ready so this would have to be a pour, grab, and go.

The sound of brewing coffee was like the songs of….well she wasn’t sure...something majestic. Fuck it was too early for this shit. She got to work on her hair, fussing with it until ultimately deciding she didn’t have time to mess with it and blow drying instead so it could stay in its mass of chocolate curls. Hathor sauntered out of the bathroom and back into her bedroom, determined to find the perfect outfit to make her feel irresistible and confident, neither of which she felt emotionally at the moment. She looked through the closet, feeling completely uninspired for the first twenty minutes until she stumbled upon the perfect outfit and it would go perfect with her new high heeled boots. The day might be brightening after all!

She dressed swiftly, taking a moment to admire her work in the mirror before adding the last minute details such as earrings and makeup. Hathor grabbed her purse, keys, and thermos full of that sugary death trap that had once been only coffee before going out the door. There was only one good thing about this time of day in her opinion and that was less traffic. She hated being stuck in the car for too long, music only being able to distract from the rage inducing thing that was high volume traffic for so long. Honestly, music was a lifesaver at times. It didn’t take long for her to get to the university, GPS being her best friend today though she was probably going to arrive later than some of the group. Not that she necessarily cared if they were upset by that fact. She just didn’t have it in her today. As it was, she was pretty sure nothing good would come of this meeting as it never had before. It was usually death, war, or destruction that brought them in and those were subjects that made her sensitive at the moment. Her heart always went out to the fallen and probably would even more so today. She felt sensitive.

Hathor wandered around the campus, trying to find where the conference even was and then spent more time wondering that building to find the exact one The Morrigan had set it for. There were quite a few already there, the seats looking cheap and probably uncomfortable but it wasn’t like she planned to be there long and would live. She took her set, crossing her legs as she pulled out her phone and kept herself busy with games. She normally would have been friendly, trying to rope people into a conversation or checking in with how they were doing but it wasn’t what she felt like doing. She already wanted to just stay in bed and be alone. Instead, she was getting a large group of people and not of them sunshine or rainbows. Fabulous, just her luck….

Hana’s conversation with Cass was unexpectedly drawn short as they arrived onto the lit porch, the front door opening to reveal Sister Lark who was one of the younger Elders. Her warm smile was extremely welcoming and helped to dampen the nerves that were threatening to claw at her gut again. She knew she shouldn’t be nervous, this was supposed to be an exciting and happy moment after all but she still didn’t want to mess anything up and fail. She forced herself to take a few deep breaths before letting herself slowly relax, pushing the doubts away. This was the start of a new horizon and she was determined to greet it without fear or dread of what may or may not be. Her attention was pulled away from her own thoughts by the Elder before them, her chocolate colored eyes turning to the newly introduced member that had joined them on the porch and would be joining them on their journey. It was shocking, not one but two new members to go to the wellspring as well as join the coven. Hana wanted to find out more, see why they had decided to make the change and ask more about the other covens they had come from but that would have to wait another time. They were about to begin.

She quickly took a robe for herself, not even worrying about the buttons as she pulled the soft ebony fabric over her head, letting it drop into place over her outfit. It was honestly a bit big on her, making her feel more like she was swimming in it than wearing it but the robe would have to do as is since she really didn’t have another option. It was at this moment however that Sister Lark decided to grace them with the knowledge that no personal items or familiars were allowed at the wellspring. An annoyed look with a pout swiftly made its way into her features, her thoughts turning along the lines of ‘Why didn’t you say that five seconds earlier?’ as she pulled her arms back into the robe. She crouched down until her hands reached the bottom of the dark material and lifted up to pool around her neck like a scarf, her shoulders keeping it there as Hana unclicked the strap to her purse. Carefully, she slid it off before removing her necklace and a multitude of rings while thanking her lucky stars that she hadn’t put earrings in today.

Once those had been tucked away into her bag so nothing would be scattered or lost, she shifted the robe back into place and slipped her arms into each sleeve before setting her stuff down by the front door. It felt like no time at all had passed and yet, two more Elders had joined them and prepared to lead the group to the wellspring. Lark took one of the unlit lanterns from the hook on the house, a flame crackling to life with just a few muttered words from the Elder witch. The glow was lost in the light of the porch lamps but most likely would be a helpful guide once they left the area. This would happen two more times, the lit lanterns given to Lucien and Claudia respectfully before the group was told to go, all of them bunched together and left to follow. Hana decided to stay closer to the back of the pack, wanting to be respectful of the others and not really wanting to be crowded in the middle with so many other witchlings. They were outside which would help her not feel as claustrophobic if that were to happen but she would rather not take the chance.

It seemed as though they were headed to the forest which wasn’t all that shocking since where else could the wellspring have been but the dazzling reveal of the path they would be taking made her feel giddy. How many times had she passed that area? She had never even felt a tingle of the illusionary and protective magic. It was incredible the type of protection and care that everyone had taken for their wellspring. She knew it had to be extraordinary before this moment but now, seeing it with her own eyes...it was truly amazing. The mass of witchlings slowly filed in, the narrow path not allowing them to stay as they were but she herself felt fear grasp her tight, her own fingers digging into her palms hard without her notice and probably turning them white as she tried to keep herself from hyperventilating. A sudden realization had hit her full force when she got closer to the path which had her excitement fading instantly, there was only one way in and she had no clue if there was any other way out. It caused panic and stark fear to seep into her veins. Hana didn’t feel safe, she felt trapped even if she hadn’t entered yet and knew that she was definitely shaking like a leaf. A startled yelp rang out as the last Elder placed a hand on her shoulder and it took a moment for her brain to catch up that she had been the one to make the noise.

The hand urged her forward, her breathing becoming rapid and raspy as if she couldn’t get enough air. Hana forced herself not to cry and fall apart as she took weak steps forward, entering the path and knowing there was no going back. She wrapped her arms around herself, hugging tight as she kept her eyes on her steps and trying to keep telling herself just one more step with each one. Each moment felt like an endless eternity of torture, dark memories trying to sneak their way into her thoughts, and each movement felt like cement blocks were tied to her ankles. She desperately wanted to arrive, anything to distract her from the crushing terror she was facing. Tears were pricking at the corners of her eyes and she blinked rapidly trying to force it away, not sure if she would be able to take much more. Any chatter was lost on her, their voices seeming so far away as she trekked forward. Suddenly, after what seemed like an eternity, there was a shift...not just in the color of the ground beneath her that she had been keeping her eyes on like a hawk but there was a tingle of magic drifting in the air.

Hana let her gaze pull up to view what was around her for the first time, dark eyes taking in the strange sights. The plants around her were large, others just strange, and some were almost an unbelievable beauty that would have taken her breath away if she wasn’t already struggling with that problem. She wished she could stop and touch some of the foliage or take some samples back with her but it would be impossible and probably rude to ever suggest. The relaxing sound of rushing water and the blanket of magic dancing in the air were helping to calm her ruffled nerves if only by a bit, the threat of tears all but a memory but sadly the other troubles remained for the time being. It wasn’t much longer that she came into the grove of knotted trees, a blue glow painting the area due to the sparkling lake that held an ethereal beauty like nothing she had ever witnessed. It looked straight out of a fairytale, reeds lining the edges here and there, water lilies of unspeakably vibrant colors drifting along the surface, and the air was a pleasant mixture of sweetly fruity floral. The combo of sight and smell were so overwhelming but peaceful that she finally felt like she could breath. The shakes drifted off though there was a small bit of fear still clawing at her, it was more of a nagging reminder than full blown panic.

The last red tasseled pillow waited for her on the shoreline and she made sure to have a sit quickly, not wanting to be the reason for delay. Hana knelt on it, tucking her feet under her and waited for instruction. It was obvious that blood was going to be involved if the dagger meant anything and she wasn’t really looking forward to that fact. At least healing was in her wheelhouse of skills which meant she would have no problem with taking care of herself and possibly others if the need arose. She would just have to be careful to not overdue herself with trying to help too many people. The process seemed easy enough though she had no doubt there was much more to it. She carefully took hold of her dagger, the wrist of her free hand out above the wellspring and did a quick clean slash before she could think too much about it. The blooming of pain was instant, the burn of the cut and the scream of her nerves telling her very clearly that she was injured. Her hand began to shake, the pain of her wrist traveling to her fingers and every small movement of her wrist at all was agony.

The dagger dropped from her hand, blood trickling from her wrist into the wellspring while she grabbed her cup, filling it with water swiftly before letting her blood flow right behind it. The thought of putting this concoction into her mouth let alone swallowing it was gut churning but she wasn’t about to give up, not now. Hana closed her eyes, downing the vile bitter potion that left a horridly foul taste to linger in her mouth. She set the glass down, teetering on the edge of whether she might puke or not when miraculously, she felt fantastic. A rush of magic flowed into her veins, her skin tingled pleasantly, and she felt light as a feather. It was like skating over ice, that smooth relaxed feeling of gliding before the exhilarating feeling of picking up speed for a jump that makes your heart just pound in excitement in hopes of landing. Only, she hadn’t landed, she had fallen, crashing through the ice and now she was drowning. The power was a crushing force through her body, the pleasant tingle now a stabbing pain that attacked from all angles, and her breath choked in her lungs as she bit back a scream.

Her body shook hard, everything around her a blurry mess as black danced in her vision, her mind feeling like it was breaking, and her body might split apart at the seams. However, just as harsh, violent, and swift the pain was to take over her was also equal in how quickly it ended. She was left in the quake of it physically drained, feeling weak, slow, and shaky once again but in another way as her mind tried to catch up with what had happened to her body. Her muscles slowly relaxed from the tense position they had been in, the sting of her wrist reminding her that this wasn’t finished yet. Hana moved to cover her wrist, letting the healing magic flow over her skin and stitch her wrist back together. Blood still coated her arm and probably other places on the robe but the cut was perfectly healed with not even a scar or red mark to prove it was there. That had to be one of the strangest moments of her life. It was almost enough to make her wonder if being a witch was worth it but that thought was stopped dead. A witch, she was a witch now. She had done it! She had made it through the trial. She felt like she could conquer anything.

Her personal moment was cut short though by the wretched sounds of someone emptying the contents of their stomach. Hana glanced in the direction of the noise, her eyes landing on Calypso and her heart going out to the poor girl. That had to be an awful feeling and no doubt would be a bit embarrassing. She weakly stood, swaying a bit as she did so as if drunk and moving with the intent to help her or at least see if she was alright when Summer’s voice dragged her attention away for a split second. She was about to ask Summer if that was really necessary and to back off Calypso when the ginger took a dive for the dirt. Just unceremoniously plopping over unconscious which had her scrabbling and tripping to the girl’s side to see what was wrong. She shouldn’t have passed out unless she lost too much blood, right? Hana moved Summer carefully, looking over her arms to see the cut still flowing with blood and completely unsealed.

Her brows furrowed, confusion clear on her features as she looked at the injury. This didn’t look like any healing had been attempted on it but maybe Summer was just extremely bad at it, who was she to judge. She placed her hand over Summer’s wrist, focusing her magic and energy into that spot, continuing to do so until everything stitched together good as new. Hana ran her hand over the skin gently, making sure to double check if anything was amiss and when it proved to be alright, she stood though now swaying a bit more than she had as more exhaustion set in. She glanced around, watching other people be healed by other members which caused a soft smile to grace her lips. She noticed Arken, still sitting on the ground while wincing at the pain trying to stem the bleeding of his wrist with his other hand.

She made her way over to him, weakly kneeling down in front of him and placing her hand under his wrist. ”Here, let me.”, Hana spoke softly while moving his right hand away so she could take a look at the cut and replace his hand with hers. She felt the magic flow from her fingertips once more, her focus on healing his wrist which she was able to do even if it had taken longer than it had with herself or Summer. She felt tired, like she hadn’t slept in days or that fuzzy feeling that happens with a high fever. She pushed the feeling away, rubbing her hand over his wrist as she had done with Summer making sure no damage remained. ”There, good as new.”, she smiled gently before dragging herself up. She stumbled a bit, having trouble standing herself and getting really worried she might pass out soon. She should have eaten more at the party and now she really was paying for it but hey, if she was too exhausted then maybe she wouldn’t have a panic attack or hyperventilate on the way out of here.”Does anyone else need some help healing? Calypso, are you alright?”
