Mondatta silently followed after the crowds as they converged at the casino. Usually, he would not have condoned gambling, believing it to foster unhealthy behavior to one's soul and body. But, in the situation they were in, any kind of group activity that would bring smiles to people's faces and hope to their hearts would be preferable to the glooming despair they were trapped in. If they wanted to escape, they needed to throw away their selfish nature, and trust in each other. It was a good opportunity to break the ice for all of them.
After Mondatta explored the hospital with Marianne, Mondatta happened to meet upon a new face to their game. Aware that new participants could appear and replace people they have grown bonds with, the Infinite Monk immediately set out to establish a conversation with the young woman, hoping that they would form a new bond and learn to trust in them despite his appearance.
"Greetings mister Gallo, and greetings to you as well. I am Tekhartha Mondatta, the Infinite Monk. Hopefully we may get to meet each other over a nice cup of tea." He then continued on his way, hoping their first meeting would not be the last.
Mondatta was quiet as Monokuma revealed the motive, which did not shock him; he would prey on the feeling of isolation these people may feel, and would dangle a carrot over the goat's mouth to make them move in the path of despair. He did not think for even a moment that Krista would be motivated to commit murder simply because she had the ticket. No, he was afraid for her; she would become a target. While other people began speaking, the monk walked quietly to Krista, and placed a cold, metallic hand on her shoulder.
"We need to speak. We should go to the library." He had to do everything he can to ensure Krista would be safe.

"Uhh, this casino is totally terr-ib-le!" Mary shouted out, making a cute pouty face as she spent her token and lost. Of course, the Infinite Streamer knew Monokuma wouldn't run a legitimate casino with actual prizes, but at least she wanted proper card tables where she could mingle and socialize with her new friends, especially Daimyon. But she couldn't get to speak with him privately when the Infinite Reporter was present, like that one paparazzi stalker who follows your date to a restaurant.
"You suck Nariko!" She openly insulted the robot, and smirked at her predictable reaction. At least she got to have some semblance of fun.
But with all things Axis Mundi, their time of fun was a trap, and Monokuma presented the phone. Mary started drooling at the sight of it, her fingers twitching.
"I could call...anyone? That super famous superstar [BLANK]? Or the super hot bachelor [BLANK]? Oh, I would do ANYTHING to get to call him!"When she started to get looks, especially from Bliss who seemed furious, she whipped her hair.
"I was joking. Of course I'd call the police, duh." But Monokuma did make a good point; even if the police did somehow believe her and send a rescue party, Monokuma would surely have prepared for such a possibility with some automated guns on the building or something equally insane that only hacks would think of.
Then, a new, handsome guy started to speak, and Mary's attention was immediately captured by his smooth voice which sounded like audible hotness. Mary put a finger to her cheek, intrigued by how heroic he sounded. She eagerly lifted her hands up like a cheerleader, jumping in the air.
"You get an O and K from me, mister! And if I had my phone, I'd give my number as well~"
