James

James still had a hand clamped over his chest from Blairs little ‘joke’. An AI with a sense of humour was the last thing they needed in his mind. At least he thought she was an AI.

“Well we just opened a portal right into their lair.” He tried to make light of the situation with a shrug. “Odds are they know we’re about to appear so…not even a little hint to what they’ve got planned?”

James was still fiddling with his new ‘toy’ as he asked. The little window above the table spun slowly to show Station 13 and the little rivets surrounding its name plate. He almost pressed enter.

He looked up suddenly as if struck by something.

“Space.” The blood had drained from his face. “We’re in bloody space and we’re going to attack a Space Station! Without Space suits!?”

James doubted the shield charm he wore around his neck could handle much more abuse let alone space. The glass bead was cracked all over from all their battles, and after the giant Witch Natasha had been unable to make anymore.

“Mai, I know your world never got as far as space so let me explain.” James took a deep breath and paused for dramatic affect. “Your blood boils and you freeze, at the same time. In space.”
James crossed his arms and leant against the table.

“I’d rather we not just rush in without something in case they open the windows or something and we all die. We got any spells or something for not dying in space?”

James tried not to think about how it felt to travel via corridor as he stared into it.

Natasha

Holding onto the cable for dear life Natasha chalked up another regret to her ever-growing list of regrets. The little gummi ship had an impressive acceleration. So much so that at take-off Natasha had almost been ripped from her perch and splattered across panel behind the seat, as she was in danger off doing so now. The ship jolted again, her legs slipped off the cable and flew widely up and down behind her. She bit down a loud swear when her left foot crunched into bolt.

In the seat above her Natasha could hear Drake talking to the others over the comms system.

So much for revealing myself here for a cosy chat

Natasha silently cursed upon several constellations when her foot hit the bolt again. The ship dipped sharply and Natasha was suddenly thrown upwards. She bit her tongue as something crunched painfully on top of her skull. Whilst blinking back tears and stars Natasha did manage to get her legs back around the cable and lock her ankles together.

Hurry up Drake She pleaded I want to still be alive by the time we get there

Charles Balderdash

It was the tone of fear in Twain’s voice that struck Charles, like a slap across the face, and pulled him somewhat out of his drunken stupor.

“ayup there mate, steady on, steady on.”

Standing up from his chair Charles grabbed the table to steady himself as he swayed slightly and bent down to pull Twain back onto his feet. A ribbon of red flashed across the room and briefly filled with a deafening tone. Something was wrong.

“What the hell was that?” Charles blinked. “Oh crap it’s the alarm!”

Once Twain was up Charles spun around and only managed to take a couple of steps before the room began to sim around him. Covering his eyes he swore in a few languages.

“Dimitri, listen to me.” He rocked from side to side. “On the wall, by the door, there’s a uh…um...panel! Panel with buttons, push the red one and speak at it. Ask them what’s going on.”

Charles slapped his cheeks a few times to sober up as Dimitri hopefully did as was asked.

Shannon

“Zesiro Friend?” Shock gripped Shannon tightly. “Hirsch Friend?”

Shannon didn’t understand it. Why was Hirsch hurting Zesiro?

The metallic smell of blood punched her senses and she let the pan clatter to the ground. Zesiro lay sprawled across the ground, partially obscured by an upturned table.

Flashes of red washed over the room and a siren drilled into her skull. Loud. Too Loud. She remembered that sound. She remembered the white walls and their red flashing lights that screamed.

Shannon dropped on all limbs. The room was too small. The walls were closing in. Shannon roared with the sounds of hyenas filling the room.
“Friends no hurt Friends!” She shrieked and skittered across tables to Zesiro.

Zesiro lay in a pool of his own blood below her and the crumbled, grisly, remains of his own torso. Shannon prodded him with a whimper. The walls were still closing in around her. Drowning her in the rancid stench of Zesiros blood which tearing at the back of her throat.
How could the other two stand it?

“Zesiro Friend Hurt. Hirsch Friend hurt Zesiro Friend!?” She turned to stared wide eyed at Hirsch.

But Hirsch didn’t smell like Hirsch anymore, he didn’t even look himself either. His arms were splattered in red and even from where he was, held up by Vaughter and Rockin, she could smell something like rotten eggs. The table crumbled under Shannons grip.

A frenzy was building inside of her as the walls continued to close in. Another roar was bubbling deep inside her throat. The eyes in her skull spun this way and that, but pair of the snake saw only Hirsch.

"Don't take it personal." Seth whispered with a shrug, "I'm not sure she likes anyone that much."

Same and exams season is pretty much over :D
“Not quite out of the woods yet it seems.” Berry heaved another great sigh.

Zooming out on the map showed at least a small portion of the estates outer wall, and gathering mass of Grit prowling on the other side. It looks like a sea of red was beginning to amass around them.

Eyeing the generator Berry began to wonder about water and food as well. NO, she would leave those concerns till later, there was little use getting all worked up about it all just yet.

“Indeed it does Roy. But I’m not entirely sure we can see anyone from where we are right now.”

Berry placed the bracelet on the breakfast bar she sat at in the kitchen and scrolled it from side to side to get a better look at their situation. She grimaced as her heart sunk at red ring beginning to form all around them. She could also see Vincent’s blue dot roving through the halls and guessed that soon other blue dots would also appear soon.

“Roy. Would you as kind as to contact her Majesty?” Berry then focused her efforts trying to look outside the estate. “I feel she would like to be informed of our current situation.”

Berry’s phone was on the table top with several cracks on the screen. Thankfully though it still worked and Berry made a mental note to get Vincent’s number.

A thought appeared and brought with it a glimmer of hope.

“Perhaps we should check the weapons stores first.” The was a desperate edge to her voice. “We should at least have some other means by which to defend ourselves. Not just for excursions outside the estate but also in case the defences do fall for whatever reason.”

Berry dared not let herself believe that any of her original group had made it to one.
I'll try and get a posty up either before or during this weekend :)
