My blade carries with it the harsh frost of the wintry winds. Dancing with the rage of a blizzard, its speed matches the transience of an icy petal.

Welcome traveler. I see you've stumbled upon my profile, nice to meet ya.

About Me
I'm just your average 9-5 schmuck. I do my work, pay my bills, and contribute what I can to society. I also happen to enjoy binge-watching/reading anime, manga/light novels, tv dramas, and pretty much anything that catches my interest. I'm also an avid gamer, my favorite genres tend to change with time. Right now it's probably JRPG, hack-slash, and fighting.

Roleplaying
I originally joined this site several years back, having gotten my feet wet only recently at that point as an RPer. I was recommended this site by a pal of mine (@PaulHaynek) and joined a couple of his RPs. However, due to RL stresses I had to take a break from the world of RPing and took sometime for self-reflection. After a 2 year absence, I'm back in saddle and ready to further stretch my creative muscles. As for what roleplays I like, I enjoy anything action-oriented. I'm fine with any settings for the most part, though I'm more inclined toward the magical and sci-fi. Also, I've gained a sort of preference for RPs that allow users to play as multiple characters, but solo is fine either way. Here's a list to give a better idea of my tastes.

- Fantasy/medieval
- Dystopian
- Steampunk
- Sci-fi
- Apocalypse/Post-Apocalyptic
- Generally anything anime/manga related
- Adventure and Combat oriented
- Romance here and there is fine too

That's all for now, reader. If you decide to post an interest check for an RP idea, you just might find me posting a character profile ready to be reviewed. Don't be afraid to give me a shout if you'd like a Co-DM to bounce ideas off of as well.

Until then.

Listening to Ayu's explanation, it seemed that Shizuyama refused to accept the new demon lord coming into power. Going as far as killing or exiling any who were overtaken by demonic energy and transformed into yokai. The strict traditionalism tore apart families and caused conflict among those who once regarded each other as friends. Relationships between humans and yokai within Zipangu had always been rather complicated; Shizuka himself had interacted with several times throughout his life and never really had any issues with them. Save for the more bold ones who wouldn't give up on the flirting. Some people hated them, some settled with them, and others just left them to their devices. What bothered him the most was that there stubbornness may eventually lead to their land's downfall, that and the fact they they didn't need to have enemies in the very people they were trying to save.

Unfortunately it seemed that no even Ayu knew why then would Kyoko-sama station a taskforce of yokai in order to asset the situation on this island of monster haters. Before Shizuka could ponder on it more, however, he sensed a sudden appearance of demonic energy that didn't belong to anyone he knew. Seeing a bright light flash from the pagoda, soon emerged two more yokai how made their way to the scene. Their physical appearances made even him raise a brow: one was a young woman dressed in western attire. What stood out was the fact that she had mushrooms that seemed to be growing directly out of her clothes, and the strange weapon that emanated a strong demonic force from it. He recognized it immediately as a cursed weapon; he had run into a few of those in his time on the field. Not very pleasant experiences either.

The other girl, or what he believed to be a girl at least, first appeared at the size of a large mosquito. Despite that, he could her her high-pitched voice clear as day. She claimed to a fairy knight from a great forest in the western lands, and introduced herself as Lillianna. He thought that she bore a resemblance to the Yōsei spirits that sometimes inhabit the mountainous and forested regions. She soon disappeared behind an alleyway, and after a flash of light she reemerged in a standard human size.

Shizuka really began to wonder who Kyoko-sama really was in order to have such pull to even find all of the people this taskforce was made up of, himself included. Her being some simple noble wasn't adding up.

Before the girls went away on their quests, he walked up to them for a moment.

"Greetings and welcome to Zipangu. I'm Kannazuki Shizuka, the acting captain of Kyoko-sama's taskforce. Ayu already explained the gist of our current situation; right now the other member are out locating Lord Takeshi's allies in order to aid against the Varjan invaders. Some of them should be returning soon. In the meantime, I'll need to remain here to meet with them and discuss our next plan of action. Good luck on your endeavor and let us know if need assistance with anything."

His face turned a bit sour upon hearing Gringor's disapproving remarks at their new allies.

"Gringor-san." He stated solemnly. "Don't be so quick to write them off. You'd do well to be more mindful. The young lady in the top hat has a cursed weapon, something that's dangerous in anyone's hands. And the Yōsei may have various abilities that could render your strength useless. Kyoko-sama was very purposeful in those she chose to join the force, watch them and you mind be surprised at what they can do."

With her defensive spell working in full spring, Atsuha ignored the deflected arrows and turned her attention to the brigands surrounding Hinami. She took special note of the one who was enchanting his blade, which may enable it to bypass the shield. Not taking any chances, she had another spell in the works. She made a fine web, attaching several talismans to it. Jumping out of her spot in the bushes, she attempted to lasso the man with the enchanted blade and the two spearman. The web would be tough to break, given it had the durability of high-grade steel. The ofuda attached along it would dispell magic and drain the targets of their mana.

Meanwhile, Hinami would attempt to deflect the other swordsman's strike and then proceed to hit him in three places: one on the arm to make him drop his weapon, the second in his gut to stun him further, and the last strike would be right upside his head to induce unconsciousness.

Atsuha didn't sense Skarsneek's mana depleting, so she would assume that he was still alright. Dealing with this these thugs shouldn't be too hard after all.

@VitaVitaAR Fox boy is here.

Advisory: Hide all of your snacks.

Will probably throw my hat in the mix and work on a cs.
Cool deal, might see a fox boy in the near future.
Hope you don't mind me poking my head in this, seeing as how I just left the other one. I might be interested in this, but wanted to ask a question. Is it cool if we make male characters, or are you trying to keep it at a all-girl cast?
After giving it some long thought, I'm just unable to find any motivation to post. Alas, it is with a heavy heart that I must secede from this RP. I certainly had fun with the time I did spent here though.

Hopefully I'll see you all in another RP down the line. Until then, later.

Since arriving here there had been several things that had been weighing heavily on Shizuka’s mind, and not just the immediate threat of the Varjan invasion. He was about to consult Ayu before Gringor and a large man dressed like a monk came up to the temple. The man of course was Nobutada; Gringor as well succeeded in his mission. He turned to acknowledge the high orc’s question, which made him squint a bit.

“I typically do not fight for enjoyment, Gringor-san. However, I can say that we promptly resolved it without there being any casualties. As for her, she’s our new ally, a lich named Io.” He replied, having some feelings for the nearly crazed grin on his face.

Ayu then explained that they could stay at the temple to rest for a bit, listen to some of the stories of the locals and aid them with their troubles, or continue to find more of Takeshi-dono’s allies. He then saw the others off as they went on their way to fulfill their next objectives. Though he was a bit concerned about letting Gringor roam about as he pleased, he decided it’d be best to stay and meet with the other taskforce members once they returned. Besides, the high orc had thus far proven himself thus far hasn’t let his battle lust run wild….yet.

Shizuka went back to Ayu, hoping she could answer some concerns he had about the land they were sent to defend.

“Ayu-san, the miko I fought earlier mentioned something about how much the yōkai had taken from the people here. I was wondering about how much you know about the history of the relationship the people have had with the yōkai and why they fear them so vehemently.” He paused a moment before continuing

“Also, I was also wondering why Kyouko-sama had decided to aid the island with a group of yōkai in spite of all that. I have my suspicions but I’d like to hear the most accurate answer first.”

@PaulHaynek@Restalaan(SKR)

On seeing Skarsneek’s hand gesture and hearing the phrase he gave out, the sisters turned to each other with perplexed faces.

“Boffum…?” Hinami said. “Um, I’m sorry, but is that some sort of phrase known amongst your people? I don’t mean to be insensitive…” Quickly after that, however, the goblin explained that he would flank and distract them while Atsuha would bind them with spells and webbing. Oddly to Hinami, he did give her an explicit directive in this case. Before she had time to press him about it, he was already on the group in front of the inn. Taking down one of the men, the woman shouted for reinforcements. Six more fighters scrambled out of the inn, ready to engage them. Atsuha took note of the archers at the windows; they would be annoying to deal with, she thought. They should probably deal with them first.

As if reading her mind, Hinami had already thrown some knives made from demon realm silver at both of the bowmen, hoping to drain and take them out in one swoop. Meanwhile, she began charging at the fighters and entered the fray alongside Skarsneek. “Hinami, wait!” She exclaimed.

Hinami failed to hear her sister’s words, she already had a bo staff in hand as he bludgeoned one fighter upside the head with it, gracefully flipping over another’s head and then hitting him with a spinning kick.

During the chaos, some beautiful pink petals began to swirl around her, emitting from the plant on her back. She started firing them at some of the other bandits, she also pulled out a talisman and began to channel it. After casting its spell it dissipated into a golden light.

The spell was one that boosted one’s vitality and durability, she and the others would take less damage in case anything went awry. While these seemed to be nothing more than low level marauders, one could never be too careful.

A Fairy Knight and a Mad Hatter with a cursed weapon. How fascinating.

Please don't bully the ronin...
