Once the Supermen teleported into the Flash Museum, they landed immediately in the thick of battle. Longshadow grew in size as the rest of the heroes fought against the gorilla army to face Grodd and end his evil plan. Obsidian and Red Tornado fought against them too, smacking and blasting foes away using their powers.

Zatara had been training with the team during his duration of being a member of the Supermen. He had been a fairly new recruit not unlike the other members who have founded the group. While he may not be much of a help in terms of smacking enemies on the head, Zatara had other ways of helping the team. He extended a hand towards a group of gorillas charging at them, roaring as they bared both their fangs and large weapons that they'll probably use to bash their heads in.

"Tcerider ym seimene tsniaga hcae rehto!" Zatara chanted, causing the gorillas to float off the ground. The disgruntled group barked in fear and confusion before they were forcefully slammed against another group of gorillas with blasters. "Snopaew og moob!" He chanted again, this time causing the gorilla's blasters to overheat and explode on their faces, knocking them out for the duration of the fight.

The magician could hear Longshadow say that they needed to find the Flash fast. Before he could do anything though, Congorilla suddenly attacked back at the team, tearing Red Tornado in half before slamming Longshadow so hard that he landed on a river far from here.

With Congorilla basically turning on the heroes and with a bunch more gorillas coming into the fight, the Supermen will get completely overwhelmed in no time. Superman, the new one, was busy fighting with Gorilla Grodd and the other members of the team were absent. Even though they could spend all day fighting these gorillas, they needed to find Flash first so they can put an end to Grodd's evil plans for world domination.

Zatara stretched out a hand to a group of gorillas that were about to fire away at them. "Ym ymene si ruoy ymene. Thgif meht!" The gorilla's eyes glowed violet and entered a trance-like state due to Zatara's spell, slowly turning around to fire back at the other gorillas. A shadow loomed behind him and he managed to jump to the sides quickly as a gorilla slammed his weapon at the ground where Zatara used to be. He tried to chant but he couldn't focus due to the gorilla relentlessly attacking him.

"Og ot peels!" He managed to shout as the gorilla immediately fell to the ground and snored loudly in his sleep. He quickly approached the slumbering gorilla and put a hand on his forehead. "Wohs em eht S'hsalf eurt noitacol!" He chanted and through the gorilla's memories, he could see the Flash trapped in some sort of room. It seemed like there were also gorillas keeping guard of the hero's location while there were others who kept breaking Flash's legs to incapacitate him.

"Gah!" The sight made Zatara recoil in horror. He knew Gorilla Grodd was evil but he didn't expect the mind-controlling ape to be this twisted! Now that Zatara knew the Flash's location, he took it upon himself to save the hero. Before doing that, he turned to the majority of the gorillas charging at the Supermen and stretched his hands out to them. "Evaw fo rewop, kconk meht tuo!" By uttering the spell, Zatara released a violet wave of pure magical energy towards the gorillas, blasting them backward and knocking them unconscious to the ground.

"Etaerc a elbbub fo elbisivni ruomalg!" Zatara chanted, his body being surrounded by twinkling light until he was invisible to the naked eye. Now that he's hidden from sight, Zatara proceeded to go to where the Flash was being trapped in order to save him.

Hōshasen has been in her nest, concentrating on laying more and more spider eggs while the rest of her babies that remained in the nest tended and protected them in case of an intruder who's dumb enough to attack them. She was so proud of seeing her babies hatch from their eggs and watching them go out to the world to feast upon warm, tender flesh while killing everyone in their path in her name. It took a lot of effort to lay her eggs but she knew it was all worth it.

One of her babies came scuttling back to the nest, making her surprised and worried upon seeing it. "What's the matter, my sweet?" She softly cooed at the spider, picking it up as she caressed it in her hands. The plague spider made a bunch of clicking noises and the Plaguemother's serene face was contorted into that of horror and anger. "They did WHAT?!" Her voice boomed throughout, causing the rest of the spiders to scuttle away in panic as the spider web that kept her den up at the trees shook.

"How dare... How dare they kill my precious children?! They will pay for this treachery with their lives!" She shouted angrily and pointed a finger out to the forest while ordering the rest of her children. "Kill them! Kill those who have mercilessly slaughtered your brothers and sisters! Make sure they will suffer for what they have done. And I..." The claws on her fingers got sharper and both her human and spider half bared their teeth. "I will eviscerate some of them myself."

As more and more plague spiders crawled out of their den, they've become much more aggressive than they were before. Their mouths were filled with poisonous froth and the heroes could see them better as the blue markings on their black exoskeletons were glowing now. Even the group of Malachi, Myra, Matthis, and Belladonna could see a faint blue glow from a distance further in the forest from where they were, and this glowing spot within the forest was indeed Hōshasen's den and the source of all the spiders. Will they be brave enough to challenge the Plaguemother and her horde of spiders before she completely took over the entire forest?

Like his mother and his grandfather who he was named after, Giovanni can cast his spells by speaking backward. This unique style of incantation allows him to focus his magic and bend reality to his will.

> Illusionist - Giovanni is a master when it comes to casting illusions, using his talent in a variety of ways to help him escape certain life or death situations. He's such a proficient illusionist that he doesn't even need to speak backwards in order to conjure them.

> Escapism - He is taught by his mother at an early age to free himself from being trapped as a way of introducing him to magic and the world of showmanship, even without the help of magic. At kindergarten age, Giovanni could easily free himself from wearing a strait-jacket while underwater.

> Mediumship - An ability he inherited from his father, Giovanni can see the spirits/ghosts of the deceased and speak/interact with them. The same goes for paranormal beings or creatures that can't be seen by the naked eye like fairies, demons, and the like.

Weaknesses:
> Giovanni is not the best hand-to-hand combatant. He's also a bit physically weak too as he's so dependent on his magic.

> His technique heavily relies on his ability to speak backwards in order to initiate a spell. As such, Giovanni would be unable to cast a spell if he is gagged or deprived of his ability to speak.

BRIEF Bio:
Giovanni, nicknamed "Gio", was the son of Zatanna Zatara and John Constantine. Zatanna raised him with the help of his grandfather who he was lovingly named after, along with the aid of other relatives from the world of magic as well. John Constantine was never there for Giovanni during his childhood years yet somehow it didn't affect his mother at all. Giovanni ended up not caring about Constantine in the end as he viewed Zatanna, his grandfather, and the relatives who helped raised him as his only family.

Despite being different from his peers, Giovanni's family made sure that he will never feel excluded. He was given the privilege of attending school and trying on all the things a normal human being growing up would experience. At home, he was trained by his mother and grandfather to hone his magic and continue their lineage. Zatara actually wanted Giovanni to become a superhero someday just like his mother and his grandfather, but only after he finishes college.

However, the greatest tragedy occurred. A creature called Doomsday fell down from the skies and rampaged throughout the Earth. Many died by his hands and there were also those who were killed trying to stop him. Included in the list of heroes who valiantly fought Doomsday to the very end was Zatanna. Grief struck the Zatara household and even during his mother's funeral, Giovanni never saw even a speck of shadow of his father. He was angry at John Constantine and swore he will never see him as a father. Remembering his mother's dream for him, Giovanni sought out to use his magic to help protect the innocent and save the world, while also making sure to pass all his classes.

Potential Storylines:
Hopefully, the team would be in a situation that involves anything supernatural/magic related. It's also interesting to see how the other characters would react to them. At the same time, it will also help Giovanni grow as a human being and become a stronger magician.

I also like to see Giovanni view the team as his own family in the long run too.

Notes:
Giovanni is bisexual, leaning towards liking men more, but being in a relationship is not a priority for him at the moment. Maybe sometime soon. Who knows?

Neith rubbed her bum and shrugged. "Eh, could've been better. It's not my first time being turned down by a man though he was just as rude as the rest of 'em. I do have to say, he was kind of hot..." She said, wondering aloud before shaking her head. She took a seat beside them and ordered something to eat. If they were going to a haunted forest with minimal chances of escape, she might as well do it with her tummy full of warm food.

The waitress put down a plate full of hot steaming, freshly cooked food and Neith was about to take a bite when Micah stood up and stared off outside. "Micah? What are you...? Before she could finish her question, he just went out of the inn without telling them why. The dark elf groaned in annoyance. "Oh come on, I barely got a bite from my food! Ugh, give me a break..." Neith grumbled in annoyance before starting to eat her breakfast.

She was curious though and she would glance out of the windows while chewing her food to see where Micah ran off too. It seemed like he was approaching a mysterious person with blonde hair and a cotton shirt with long, flowing sleeves. It even looked like said person was carrying a book but they were too far for Neith to get a good look at it. She did keep her bow next to her so she could go out fully prepared to defend Micah, just in case things go south.
