Bio

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A link to some of my past characters, which I need because static tabs do not take up internet.

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

@Blizz@Majoras End I wish to qualify this statement instead of being haphazardly lumped in with "everyone": there has been a majority vote in favour of Discord, of which I and at least a couple of others would have preferred RP Guild, but I'll let them speak for themselves as they so choose.
@RogueFox There may have been some confusion about that point, given the possibility that it was Porrim's Denizen, but it is a valid point nonetheless. Either way, Abraxas does seem to have ties to Hope and/or cherubs as a concept, and it's entirely possible the Denizen could fit both roles under different circumstances. Until further notice, I'll say it's Abraxas, and then if more solid info comes along, I can change it to, say, Mnemosyne, maybe Lernaea if we want to keep a serpentine theme.
@Blizz This might help. In short: Echidna, [EDIT: potentially] tied to Space; Typheus, potentially tied to Breath; Cetus, potentially tied to Light; Hephaestus, potentially tied to Time; Hemera, potentially tied to Life; Nix, potentially tied to Void; Yaldaboath, assigned specifically to exceptionally powerful players; and Abraxas, potentially tied to Hope, but potentially the Denizen assigned to particularly weak players. If Abraxas is the latter, I'd probably want to come up with something more thematically appropriate overall, but he does seem to have specific ties to the element of Hope too.
Since Blizz mentions Nix, are there any canonical Denizens which are obviously somewhat "wizardly" in nature? The most obvious Denizen for a Hope player would be Abraxas, since that was Jake's Denizen, but there's also speculation that he's specifically the Denizen assigned to players with particularly poor combat ability, so I'm not sure if that's the case.
@Blizz Not an objection per se, but as an aspiring Mage of Hope, it might lead to less overlap in character if you switch to another class? This is partly why I altered Arestl from being a Rogue of Heart, to wit.
@RogueFox It's fine, honestly. Actually, working him in this new direction has its benefits for potential story development. I'm also liking how Artina's looking, so well done there.

@The World Yes. Hell yes.
@RogueFox First of all, best troll is Nepeta, fight me. Second, I'd honestly say go with what suits you; we only have a limited number of both classes and aspects anyway, so you may as well take something you're happy with.
That's some pretty good art, Rosell.

And now, a revised CS for Arestl.

If I set aside the necromancy thing for now, what about a Mage of Hope? That seems rather apt for somebody who's eternally paranoid that they're going to be killed at any moment, but can sense the times when they're actually in trouble and dodge death as a result.
Honestly? Mage of Life seems kind of apt, all told. And maybe have the guy be purple-blooded, but with his chucklevoodoos turned back on him. Mage of Void could also work, but I'll do some research into it.
