Zari didn't typically sleep much or anything, partially because she tended to sit around, staying up late and messing with her robots in some way. That's really what she had been doing when the message was sent out to all of them with regards to the island being under attack. Uh oh, that didn't sound too good to her, and now they had to deal with that, at least now anyway that they had this big island to roam around and call home. She really didn't want anything to happen to it, mainly since everyone seemed so happy here no matter what was going on.

"Valkyrie here," she responded to the call, before she got an image to flash through her mind of what was going on over at the Akademos, where there was a woman in a spacesuit or something like that charging up electricity. It was weird, considering the power set reminded her a bit of her mother's, but that didn't matter. The ground was shaking though, which seriously confused her a bit, but she didn't say anything immediately. She heard Andy's voice as she was talking to her, and Zari nodded her head. "Yup, me too..." she said, before walking over and picking up her flashlight/sword Glowstick, and Mr. Eyeball was beeping along next to her. "Let's get going, we need to hurry up, since this looks to be getting bad, and even worse every minute, and escaping through a window is fine and all, but we should be fine if we move quickly," she added as she also grabbed Mr. Jaws the robot head and she started racing off, wondering what was going on as fog was filling the building.

Jack had more or less gone been a bit startled or whatever by the sudden voice in his head with regards to what was going on. The island was under attack? Great, just what they needed really. Hearing what was being said, Jack let out a slight sigh, "Stretch reporting in," he said out loud, before slightly waiting to see where it was that he was going to be sent. Jack frowned slightly upon the mental image that went through his head, which seemed to show him needing to more or less hide and shelter or whatever, which was the dumbest thing in the world to him.

"Okay, going to ask this once, whose bright idea was that?" he asked out loud, before suddenly an image of his father's face appeared in his mind, and it was a little creepy to say the least. Though it was a bit weird for him to find out his father was saying he needed to shelter and hide, considering the fact that he hadn't spoken to his father for a while, so why the hell did his father want to stop him? "Tell him screw that, I've never really listened to what he has said, and don't plan on starting any time soon. So if you won't tell me where I should go, then I'll figure that out myself." After saying that, he heard what sounded like a few teenage girls giggling and he couldn't help but roll his eyes as he walked out of the room. He saw everyone else already heading off, and he glanced out the window in order to see what sort of chaos was going on out there, and he saw a man throwing boulders and the like at the building. "Well see you all in a little bit," he commented with a shrug, before taking off outside of the building. Based on what Veil said about going to the roof, he figured that she was going to use her shields to defend the building that way, that'd only last so long though, you have to take out the source, so that's what he was going to do.

The words echoed throughout her mind as there was mention of an attack on the island itself. Things were just getting chaotic clearly, and she wasn't too sure how things would work out in the long run for the island and defending it. However they had a lot of powerful people who were there to defend it, which gave her hope that things would be alright in the end. She didn't consider her abilities very powerful, actually she knew her powers weren't really the best for combat. Sure, she knew that they could be used that way, but typically not too much.

"Come on Erik, we need to get going," she said to Magneto as the ground was shaking, and she went to go glance out in the hallway, seeing the poison fog that was starting to fill the hallway. "We've got to hurry, fog is starting to fill the place, we need to either find the source and stop it, or get everyone gas masks, quickly," she then said to him. This situation was horrible, especially since the palace was one of the safehouses, if this is what was going on here, who knew what was going to be happening elsewhere.

"Don't sound too surprised... Sometimes it takes people a while to figure out what sort of abilities they might have gained from their godly parent, so even when you think it should have popped up, it won't... Just kind of how things work," she commented to Runa with a bit of a shrug. It wasn't too surprising to hear Runa be in denial about the entire situation, it probably did sound a bit insane from her perspective. But that's just how things worked around here, everyone reacted to that sort of thing differently.

Then chaos proceeded to ensue, where suddenly an arrow appeared out of nowhere and slammed into Arnora, before suddenly Runa and Dalisy were sprawled out on the floor. Klara had to blink a few times before she realized that whoever had attacked was invisible, and clearly was up to no good based on just that occurrence. "Are you all alright?" she asked the group as Astrid and Lara went to try and help patch up Arnora after Nadia had, and she walked over, offering her hand to Runa to help her up off the ground.

"Okay... Well this is a horrible situation isn't it?" she commented as the people who had more or less attacked them took what weapons the group had with them before proceeding to declare that they were going with them. Arguing was seemingly pointless at this point honestly from what she gathered, all things considering the fact that they were unarmed and probably could end up dead if they weren't careful. She still wasn't even sure why the hell Merlin had more or less told them all to disarm themselves. Everything that they was going on was a situation they might not be able to get themselves out of.

Then they were more or less stuck in a jail cell it would seem like, them getting shoved into cells and more or less left there and locked up. Not to say she wasn't used to be locked up in a jail cell for any length of time (she was a thief after all), but she at least knew what was going on or why. Here? Not so much. "So... Are we supposed to just sit around and do nothing? Or is there a reason why you told us to not fight back or something? Since this does not seem like a good situation for us to be in." she asked Merlin, since it sounded like they could do nothing now.

Jack rolled his eyes slightly at the response Hansel gave them, but at least Gretel seemed to have given them a decent response as to why things weren't as simple as they first appeared. Knowing that it was one of the few places that hadn't fallen to Maleficent made it a bit more obvious as to why getting there would be difficult. So why the hell hadn't he mentioned that before when he was just going on about finding a guide or something if they were lucky? The odds of that sort of thing were slim he was pretty sure at this point.

Of course, they eventually came across a village of sorts that clearly didn't really trust outsiders, which is what they were to them. The two oddballs who stuck out though were interesting to say the least, and they started talking to each other about something (probably them) and went to go talk to a third person. Meg's comment about the coffins and all was a bit strange, but he was used to her questions revolving around death and everything, "I don't think that is the most important thing to worry about right now Meg."

Well, the plan to get the Skrulls far away from all of the chaos was a good thing, or at least it all went off without a hitch. The Flerkens had gone in and more or less just scooped up all of the skrulls and waltzed on back to the presidential suite. Hopefully no one would really get too suspicious of what the hell was going on with the cats and why a few people were just disappearing randomly or whatever. Here was hoping anyway, and he had to stop himself from laughing when the Empress got tossed out of Goose's mouth. When she grabbed a hold of Anelle and threatened her, his brain started trying to come up with a possible solution.

Thinking about it, there was something that he could try. He just wasn't too sure if it would actually work. The nice thing about the work he did before he was president, was that he knew a lot about magic, including a few minor spells that might be useful. As long as they actually worked somewhat right? "Congelo in loco," he said, waving his hands ever so slightly and there was a bright flash of blue light as the Empress suddenly was frozen in place. "...Wait that actually worked?" he commented, sounding surprised. In all honesty, Alex had not expected that to work, he'd never really done any sort of magic before, so that was new.

It wasn't the best of plans, but at least the cats seemingly followed Goose's directions (which honestly was a bit insane to think about, but things like that hadn't surprised him for a while since joining SHIELD). Everything was a bit strange with this group, considering they were fighting a bit of an alien invasion currently, so yup, no time to really be weirded out by it. Things were getting heated up though once Goose spat the Empress out, and she started threatening Anelle, before she grabbed her by the throat making it difficult for the Skrull princess to breathe. Flynn was wondering if just hitting the Empress with fire would loosen her grip on the princess.

However, how to deal with the Empress was apparently a really simple solution, as the freaking president did some weird thing that quite literally froze her in place. "Now that is cool," he commented, before racing forward and managing to get Anelle out of her grip and down onto the ground and away from the Empress. Unfortunately, right then the Empress unfroze and kicked him where it hurt and he ended up getting knocked backwards, "Ouch..." he muttered under his breath cause ow that hurt, before getting up off the ground again. "Are you alright princess?" he asked Anelle.

Chaos, that was the best way to describe what happened once the cats returned with the Skrulls, the skrulls that obviously included the Empress. She of course, was not happy with being swallowed by a Flerken and then spat back out again, and she was starting to sit there and threatening everyone. Her attention turned towards the princess as the Empress instantly lunged for her, and Sparky was prepared to send off a shock of electricity. Sure if she did that, it might hurt the princess, but it would stun Veranke hopefully long enough for Anelle to get free, but luckily she wouldn't have to do that as others sprung into action first.

With the princess free because of the president and Flynn, she had no reason to hold back the massive lightning bolt that she shot off right towards Veranke, managing to hit her with enough force that for a few moments, she actually shifted back into not Hulk looking normal Skrull form. Of course this lasted only a moment before she shifted back and Veranke made a grab for her, missing grabbing her by the neck but unfortunately she did manage to grab her hair and yanked on it. "Let go!" she snapped as she sent another blast of electricity. The bolt was weaker than her initial one, but it was enough to force her to let go, allowing Sparky to move away from the Empress.

She was kind of glad that Cassian hadn't really done anything to the kid or something for what had happened and stayed somewhat calm as the kid eventually ran off. At least nothing bad or whatever had come from it, the kid seemed apologetic for it all the same. "Well dat went well... Are you ahkay dough? Sounded like you gaht 'it fairly 'ard..." she said to him, not sure what might be going through his mind with regards to it. Since it had sounded like he also might not have want to been so reasonable at first.

Listening to the sounds around her, she heard footsteps coming towards them as someone else seemed to be walking over to where they were. The problem with relying on her hearing was that she couldn't necessarily tell who was nearby or anything unless they spoke up first. Luckily for her, someone did end up talking, and she recognized the voice of Alannah when she came over. "'i Alannah, dings 'ave been goin alright fahr me... 'ow about you?" she asked her, giving her a bit of a smile.

Everything was a bit strange and confusing to him, namely as to really why Persephone didn't thoroughly chew Zeke out, then again he might do that sort of thing a little bit later if he got the chance to. Since he knew that his sister somewhat harbored a crush for the idiot, and supposedly he had a crush on her or something like that. It was something he likely was going to chew him out about the instant that he got the chance to. Since really, the guy was a bit ridiculous.

Mary was mainly just sort of glad that Zeke, the annoying person, had left now. Since he probably was going to go do something else stupid that revolved around him just being himself. At least he was doing that elsewhere now, and her attention turned back towards Stella as she continued asking about where they could go next, asking about an arts and crafts area maybe. "Sure, there are a lot of places like that, this place in a lot of ways is similar to just a normal summer camp, just with a few added things here and there..."

Seeing Andy and Arthur walking over to where they were, and he waved at the pair of them as Arthur more specifically spoke to Persephone and mentioning some sort of gift or whatever like that. He wasn't sure what he was talking about or doing really, but Jason just said nothing as the group more or less just stood around talking as opposed to actually walking around or going to where they were talking about going on their tour. Though he supposed it made sense for Kristin to at least introduce Stella to the other two.

"Hey there," Mary said with a slight wave to them as they walked over and Arthur started talking to Persephone. She looked over at Stella again though and thought for a moment, "We can go over there now if you want to, it's a nice little area where you can make just about whatever you want," she commented with regards to it, just now more or less kind of waiting to see if anyone else was actually going to want to head off or if they were all just going to stand around doing nothing.

"Wow automatically assuming that it was my father's hammer really?" Klara commented with a bit of an eye roll. "Not to mention, my father spends more time on Midgard than he does here, and that's not even the direction towards where my family resides."

"And that would be where?"

"That way," she responded, before pointing in a direction that was towards the right of where the beam of light had come from. "The home typically is occupied by my mother and twin brothers, and myself of course, since as I said, my father doesn't typically stay on Asgard all too much anymore..." It was clear that she was a little saddened by that thought, before she snapped back to her usual self, "Actually that area is closer to Baldur's area than my father's..."

"I guess I can go race around in that direction, see if I find anything..." Pietro said, a bit uncertainly.

"I don't think that's a good idea. We don't know what's over there. Since for all we know, you could be heading straight into a dangerous situation with whatever is destroying realities which may or may not be an infinity stone..."

"I mean... We all could go there, see what's over there..."

"I can go around real quick I guess, since then we'd know for sure... And too many people heading that way might alert whoever it is to realize that they are cornered or something like that... And when people get cornered they freak out and start lashing out... It might put more people in danger..."

"To be fair, Asgardians aren't like humans, we're a lot more durable."

"Doesn't mean anything..."

"Good point, since infinity stones are bad, even the ones that might be considered the weaker ones in terms of what they specifically do are dangerous. Pretty sure they probably could bypass and injure Asgardians just like us."

"Well we need to figure something out... Going as a group or even more of just splitting into different groups to find everything or figure this out makes the most sense to me..."

"Problem is this doesn't have an easy solution, and I do agree your powers probably would make it easier for you to easily see what's going on over there..."

"Well then I'll go, this'll totally be fun, and gives me a chance to stretch my legs after being stuck on first a small spaceship, then space prison, and then once again on a small spaceship. Klara you tagging along or no?"

"Sure, let's go," she said, before the pair raced off.

"Why do I feel like that was a big mistake sending them off like that..." Mary couldn't help but comment, letting out a bit of a sigh. Annie's powers wouldn't really pick up much of anything as to what sort of directions things might be coming from or where specifically the person causing problems was. Not specifically anyway, however she did, kind of like what Mary said, get a bad feeling about Pietro and Klara racing off in that direction by themselves.

Klara was a little surprised that Heimdall seemingly believed the group at all. Shouldn't he have easily noticed that they were lying? They hadn't exactly been too convincing with the lies either, and had more or less been a bit hesitant with it. After Heimdall left, the others started talking and it made more sense, Runa had used Charmspeak on Heimdall somehow. "Nice job Runa. That sort of thing is a handy ability to have... Fun that it decided to pop up in a moment when we could use it, since let's be honest, everyone wasn't exactly very convincing with the lies..."

She entered the office after everyone else, and glanced around, wondering what exactly was going on in this situation. What had caused everything to happen? Klara caught a glimpse of the symbol on the desk, and was about to question it when Lara pointed out the symbol and that it was Loki's. "Oh this is just great, the exact sort of thing we'd want to deal with, Loki causing problems... That is likely never going to be a good thing if he is up to something and causing problems..." Not to mention Dalisy's mentioning of the footprints more or less disappearing and never leaving the room was not a good thing.

She wasn't too sure still of actually meeting her biological parents, after all, she wasn't exactly entirely sure she wanted to meet them. Not to mention the part of the area magical world that they were heading towards sounded like a really not too great place to visit. Since from what she had been told, that was Maleficent's realm or whatever, her kind of base of operations if you will really. The groups were starting to head out though, and she let out a bit of a sigh before she headed through the portal to the Moors, wherever that really was specifically anyway.

Of course, who could have guessed that the instant the portal closed that they'd instantly be surrounded by some people who were pointing weapons at them. This was a bad thing, a really really bad thing honestly. Sure, Merlin had magic or whatever, but they were severely outnumbered, and everyone else probably wouldn't be able to help in the fight before they all ended up getting killed. Of course, Merlin instantly nodded to them to lower their weapons (even though she personally didn't have any) and she looked at the group surrounding them. "Well this isn't good..." she muttered under her breath.

Everything was a bit chaotic, and currently he still wasn't too sure how people would react to him being around or whatever when it came to the parents of the others. Everything was a bit weird to say the least, but oh well, nothing he could really do about that now. Jack couldn't help but chuckle slightly at what it was that Megan said to him with regards to sleeping in a graveyard. "Lighten up, since at least it seems like your bio parents won't try to kill everyone or something," he whispered to her in response, since from what he gathered, the other parents were likely better people, at least hopefully.

The idea of them not having any sort of idea in how to get to an underwater kingdom was just insane and dumb to him. He had to agree with what Meg said, and he rolled his eyes slightly at what was going on. "You do realize that is probably the dumbest bit of planning ever? You all knew that we were going to be going to an underwater kingdom, or at least that there was the possibility of it, and you didn't come prepared with a way to actually get there? Since I don't think any of us can actually breathe underwater, so this is probably the dumbest idea ever, since you are going off of potential sheer dumb luck or whatever to get us there."

Everyone was being sort of loud and kind of talking over each other in a way with regards to coming up with a concrete plan. Problem was, no one seemingly had a concrete plan. Sure, there was the idea with the Flerkens and everything, but then there was all of the other problems that arose from their various options. If they allied with the Skrulls, they might be seen as a threat to the Kree and the Kree might try to wipe them out. If they don't ally with the Skrulls, there are different problems that go with that one.

"I don't really see a way out of this situation at all... At least not an easy solution..." Sparky muttered, trying to think of a solution. She was staying relatively quiet, just trying to think of something, anything really. Most of their options would result in them losing in some way, partially because of the Kree and Skrull war or whatever it was that was going on with them. That was why they had to be super careful. Problem was, there wasn't anything very obvious that would work for sure, every option could end poorly for them no matter what.

Flynn was really glad that Bonnie was okay, and honestly, from what he could tell that Kwassi guy was a bit of a piece of work who had no idea what it was that he was doing or something. "I mean we all technically start somewhere, so what if he's a bit new at it, he'll catch on eventually," Flynn said with a bit of a shrug, even while Bonnie more or less called the guy an idiot for thinking a Skrull was a robot. "And honestly still not sure what situation or whatever you all are talking about with regards to the robot thing... But eh whatever, we have bigger things to worry about than that."

The cats, that was the big plan? Also who would want more than one Goose around? Not to mention he was pretty sure that Goose thought he should be the only one around like him, so he wondered what was going through Goose's head with regards to the other Flerkens. "...Using a bunch of Flerkens is a bit of a... Strange idea, at least in my head... But I mean, it is shown that Goose can at least detect other Skrulls, so that's something I guess... Still this doesn't sound like the best plan, and one that like all the other options could go wrong in an instant."

The conversations were definitely interesting to him, that was for sure. The one between Kwassi and Bonnie where she was essentially calling him an idiot and pointing out in every way how he was wrong was amusing. Now he kind of wish he had been able to see the entire situation that they were referring to. Since that just sounded hilarious at least with regards to everything that was being spoken about. Of course, now that the others were mentioning it, the idea of just using the cats didn't sound like the best, at all really. There had to be a better more complete solution that could fix everything.

Others (including the idiot Kwassi) were making fair points, that allying with the Skrulls would likely cause the Kree to turn their attention towards Earth. Thinking for a moment, Alex finally came up with something that might work. "Wait, the Skrull and the Kree are at war, and us allying with the Skrulls might cause the Kree to turn their attention to Earth right? Well what if, bare with me on this one, what if the Princess when she took the throne immediately goes to try and end the war. Usually, not sure how things work in space, but here on Earth at least when two countries are at war with one another, if they want to start peace talks you need a third party to sort of act as mediator. No matter what happens in this situation, we are likely going to piss someone off, so why don't we try to at least start some intergalactic peace talks and Earth acts as the third party. We screw this up and we piss of the Kree anyway and draw their attention to us and our existence, so why don't we help the princess take the throne, and then try to end the Kree Skrull war so that maybe Earth doesn't get attacked by the Kree next. Just a sort of suggestion. Not entirely sure how things work in space, but that's kind of how things work here. No matter what we do, we're screwed, but that might be the best option in this scenario anyway. Since then if we help the princess and then end the war, the Kree might not attack us, which is the main thing we are worried about in this whole thing." It was only a suggestion, but currently it was the only idea that he really had.

It didn't make any sense to Veil either - Jack was clearly alive, why would there be a death certificate in his file? She had heard of cases of people coming back from the dead, one of her teachers in school had been Jean Grey after all. Was that what had happened? She bit her lip slightly. Jack's powers made him deadly vulnerable to extreme cold. It made sense - he should have died when Sapphire froze them all. He shouldn't have been standing next to them, breathing. "... Does your father have a presence on Genosha?" Veil asked. She wasn't sure if he would. Mister Sinister wasn't a mutant.

With what Callie said, Jack simply looked at the file name, shut it and put it back, "I don't want to look at my mom's file ever, since if she wanted me to know what was in it she'd tell me." Jack wasn't too sure what Veil was potentially thinking or whatever, but he did figure he might as well answer her question. "Yeah, he's here... And usually I stay as far away from him as possible, that being because I want nothing to do with him."

Callie nodded slightly towards Jack, it was his choice to and didn't want to pry any further into it since she felt like it was a family matter after all as well to. She looked at Veil for a moment biting her bottom lip for a moment, she didn't want to really suggest it but maybe Jack's father had more answers. "I really do hate to suggest this, but maybe we should pay him a visit if he's here then? Or we can continue looking around at files."

"Do you... Do you think it's possible your father is involved in this?" Veil asked bluntly. She wasn't too certain what Sinister was capable of, but he was a mad scientist from what she could tell. And she knew that some parents would go to extreme lengths for their children. It struck her as a bit odd that Sinister was on Genosha though, as from what she knew, he wasn't a mutant - and had taken great joy in experimenting on mutants and harming them.

He wasn't too sure whether or not his father would have done something. As far as he could tell, his father didn't really care much for him, and personally Jack hated him. "Honestly? I have no idea. Though I will say one thing... If he did have something to do with it it likely wasn't because he cared, it probably was just to see if he could fix it or whatever, if he was involved. That's just what I think."

Callie leaned back and listened to Jack and Veil as she turned to look at Jack there was still a lot of questions about what had happened, if his father had a hand in it or something like that. "So, what do you think we should do then continue looking around here?" Callie asked Jack.

"Have you talked to your mother about this?" Veil then asked, looking for more information.

Jack at this point was getting a little annoyed with Callie and Veil. "What do you think I've been doing on the island since waking up? I've been actively trying to get info the old fashioned way of asking people. And as I have said, absolutely no one will tell me anything. My mom avoids the question entirely and dances around it, and she was the first person I asked. The hospital as I've said before wouldn't tell me anything. As for my father, honestly would either of you want to go talk to him alone? And based on how everyone else was reacting to me asking questions, figured that he probably wouldn't give me a straight answer either. So kind of have been actively avoiding him more than a little bit..." he commented, thinking now, before letting out a sigh. "...But if you think that I should try talking to him, then I'll go. Just reminder that last time I actually had a talk with him, ended up with him messing with my head. I want to figure out what happened, especially now there are more questions than answers... And considering the fact that he's kind of the one person I've actively avoided, maybe I'll actually get a bit lucky and he will tell me the truth, but still seriously doubt it. This place probably doesn't have any more info anyway."

Callie crossed her arms and leaned back slightly as she listened to Jack and then looked at Veil and Jack as well to. "He's got a place around here somewhere right? We could just sneak in and see if he has any kind of files or information there, or we can talk to him but it's up to you." Callie said, she didn't like the idea of talking with him or snooping around his father's place either, and last time they confronted him it wasn't really fun either.

"Your father is a sadistic torturer. I think we go in first and check the place out," Veil argued. She didn't like the way Jack had snapped at them, as they were just trying to help, and Jack hadn't given them a complete list of strategies he had tried. Knowing that his mother danced around the question did help though - it meant that Renegade knew something. This wasn't a secret one person was keeping, it was some sort of collective group effort. "Is your mother the type to lie to you to protect you? Or does she lie to protect herself?"

"Honestly, not a hundred percent sure... If I had to guess probably a mixture of both. I mean she didn't tell me that Sinister was my father in the first place until I flat out confronted her with the fact that I more or less already knew the answer and she couldn't hide it from me anymore... So it's a bit debatable... Though I would prefer the option you suggested about checking out the area and all first and not necessarily just talking to him. That would be nice... We should probably get going then," Jack said, before he started leading the way back out of the hospital.

Callie stood up from where she was as Jack answered Veil's question, she didn't really know Renegade all that well really so she wasn't sure if she was doing it for Jack or for herself either. "Alright then, lets get going." Callie said as she started to follow shortly behind Jack out of the patient records room. "Though what should we do if he somehow finds out we are snooping around his things?" Callie asked Jack and Veil, hoping that there wouldn't be a violent confrontation unlike last time.

Veil remembered the last time that they had descended into Mister Sinister's home - his secret base beneath that bar, where he had done horrible, horrible things. A chill went down her spine. "Let's hope we aren't there," Veil said. "... Are there laws on Genosha against trespassing?"

"Or more of run and hope that you aren't the slowest person," Jack added as he listened to Veil's next question. "Nope, there aren't any laws like that... Actually the only real important law is that you aren't allowed to kill anyone... Which honestly might not be any better since from what you know, with some of the things some people, like my father, can do likely would make you wish that you were dead." They'd walk for a little while, but eventually they'd reach the one place in all of Genosha that he had avoided like the plague, Bar Sinister. Why the hell would he want to go there or talk to his father anyway? During their last encounter it was made very clear that they didn't exactly see eye to eye. "Well, here we are..."

Callie followed behind Jack and Veil letting him lead the way as she listened to Veil ask what sort of laws this place for trespassing which was kind of surprising. "So we can just go anywhere and they wouldn't bat an eye?" Callie said she was surprised about that as she looked up at Bar Sinister, gently resting a hand on Jack's shoulder. "We got your back."

Bar Sinister wasn't technically part of Genosha - it was a smaller island, connected to the Genosha by means of a rope ladder. It was as extravagant and extra as anyone familiar with Mister Sinister would have expected, the small island looking like spikes of ruby, reminiscent of the gem on Essex's forehead. Veil raised an eyebrow. "This looks like a lair," she commented dryly. "I'm assuming you've never been inside."

"Yeah, as I've said before, I tend to avoid this place as much as possible. Since I don't really want to talk to him. And it definitely looks like a pair, of that we can agree on... Guess we should probably head inside right?" It was more than a bit obvious that Jack wanted nothing to do with the place, or his father really. His family was a bit screwed up after all.

"It looks like he has a really big ego if he has a whole mini island lair to himself as well, and this totally doesn't look like a bar either just saying." Callie said, seeing the place in person it did look pretty intimidating as well to "Well lets get going, we should probably go invisible again while we sneak inside."

"He does seem to have a bar obsession," Veil murmured, turning them invisible as they slowly descended into Bar Sinister. Inside, it looked like a maze of crystal caverns, but it was far from empty. All over the place were clones of Mister Sinister. They each had slight variations - one of them even looked more like a kangaroo than a humanoid - and were almost all drinking and chatting amongst each other. Veil's eyes widened. "....What?"

"I've seen some weird stuff, but I think this one takes the cake... Also why the hell would anyone want more of him? Then again, the name of the place makes more sense now, since he's decided that he's just going to surround himself with more and more versions of himself. Guess the bar name makes more sense now... But just snooping around or something isn't going to be easy with so many versions of him..."

Callie looked around the inside of the room seeing the many clones of Mister Sinister, and turned to look over at Jack his father in her opinion was really weird. "Well I guess he doesn't have to look himself in a mirror anymore if there is so many clones of him, he clearly loves himself more than anything."

The Sinisters were chatting and mingling happily, not noticing the three invisible people talking in hushed tones. "Maybe this'll be to our advantage. It'll be easier to hide in a crowd - even if the crowd is all... well, him," Veil pointed out. However, the place did make the hairs on her her arm stand up in warning. There had to be something more sinister here, something beyond dozens of Sinisters.

"You know, this is kind of one of my worst nightmares in a way," Jack commented, before walking along a little ways. Glancing around, he saw some stairs that were heading downwards, "...That looks like a place to start," he said to the other two, heading down now. There were several different ways to go, and as he started wandering along, before coming to a door. He listened to see if anyone else was inside, and upon hearing nothing, he opened up the door and stepped inside. Walking in, a tank was immediately in view, and he walked up to it, and he got a little weirded out. Why? Since he quite literally saw himself in the tank. "...What the hell is going on?" He had been a bit weirded out before, but this was just insane.

Callie followed behind Jack and Veil, looking at the Sinister Clones one last time before heading down the stairs and into the room in front of them. She approached the tank seeing a literal clone of Jack inside of it this was a lot weirder than anything that she had seen, she wondered why Jack's father had a clone of him in the first place. "Okay I knew he was really weird but why would your father have a pickled version of you here?"

"What the hell?" Veil asked. "Your father has a... a fucking clone of you..." She shook her head slightly, thinking through what they had seen and uncovered - Jack's death certificate, the fact that he should have shattered from the instant freeze, no one telling him what had happened, and now a clone floating in a tank... "I think you're a clone, Jack... I think the original you died and your father... he made a spare."

The idea was crossing Jack's mind too, before Veil even had responded with her own thoughts. Despite it making sense, his brain was not wanting to accept that fact, at all. "No, no way... I wouldn't be able to remember everything or whatever right? I mean some things yes, but I remember everything up until we all got frozen, and then immediately after waking up, so how could I remember all of that too then?" at this point he was kind of just sort of fishing for an excuse or an explanation, that much was obvious, and it was also obvious that he was starting to freak out a bit now.

Callie was thinking the same thing as well to, looking at Jack for a moment she had no idea how or why Jack still had all of his memories up until now. "I have no clue how you have your memories still to be honest either.." Callie said as she started to look around the room, before finding a notebook on a nearby counter, she wasn't sure what was in it as Callie came back setting the notebook down. "Maybe this could have some answers?" She said to Jack and handed it over towards him.

"I don't know either," Veil admitted. Not everything about her theory added up - how did Jack have his memories? She knew stranger things had happened. There was also just a lot that they didn't know about Mister Sinister and what he was capable of.

Glancing at Callie when she handed him the notebook, he flipped it open in order to see what was in it. There were a bunch of very detailed notes, and none of them were helping everything that was going through his brain. They more or less proved Veil's theory, that he had been cloned, and the notes spoke of everything from the cloning to more or less resurrecting him. So was he really him? That was a question he wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer to that question, but it was a new one that wasn't going to leave his brain any time soon. Another thing in the notebook seemed to be a spell of sorts from something talking about retrieving a lost soul, whatever that meant. "...You're right..." he said to Veil, before handing the notebook over so that they could see what was in it. "I'm not really me... The real me died... There is something wrong with me then..." Yeah, the conversation they had a little while ago with regards to trusting the Hellfire Club and there maybe being something wrong with him and that being why he didn't trust them was starting to come back to haunt him now.

Callie reached out and gently rested a hand on Jack's shoulder and looked at him. "You are still you, just in a new body you still have all of your memories before being frozen." Callie said trying to reassure him, as she went and took a look at the notepad and skimmed through it none of it really made sense at all. "Do you want to investigate here more or something?" Callie asked Jack.

"... Spark Plug's right, you're still you. You have the same thoughts, experiences, and feelings. A body's just a thing."

"See, you say that but it still doesn't seem like it. Since remember our conversation not that long ago? I told you that I didn't trust what was going on here in Genosha, you asked me if the problem wasn't necessarily what was going on with that, but if it was me or that there was something wrong, with me. Guess what, think we just found out what," he said with a bit of a shrug, before moving away from the two of them, "Let's get out of here... I want to get the hell out of this place and fast... I hate it here and it is just too creepy..." His brain was starting to shut down, usually how he processed things or coped with things, so he really was not wanting to talk about any of this anymore.
