Can someone explain to this confused meat suit that joints are friends, not food. Or better yet, rid me of it completely. I'd like a factory reset please. Lately upgrade.

A roleplayer, a mom, a gamer, and a crafter. I like to make stuff, whether it be in writing or drawing or crochet, or paint, the list goes on. If it requires creativity, I can assure I have tried it at least once. If you want to see some of the stuff I make, feel free to ask. I do take commissions too though I hate my own art. Everyone else seems to love it and hey, sometimes you gotta take the money where you can get it, ya know?

Crystal blue eyes as cold as ice with pupils the size of pinpricks stared at the scene before her.

Iris had simply wanted to find Max. She had begun at the top of the building and was making her way down to the bottom floor. She had hoped she wouldn’t find anything along the way. She had kept her body pulled in tight, every muscle achy from the transformation the night before. She wanted this little trip to be quick and over as soon as physically possible. Get the meat and get back to her room. And yet, there she was. Standing at the end of the hall, eyes locked on the scene of the feeding vampire. It was against the rules. It was strictly forbidden. Her eyes were locked on the vampire, her breath caught in her chest at the sight. There was no fighting it at that moment. There was no arguing back and forth, no bickering between the two halves that clashed within her being. In that very moment, wolf and human were on the same side, with the vampire on the other. Punishment had to be delivered, she had to be removed from this place. She had to suffer for harming another resident, in their pack territory, in their HOME.

A low growl began to rumble from deep within her chest as she finally released the breath she held. "You,” she roared as she clenched her muscles, the pupils in her eyes finally expanding as the shift began to course through her body. Fur pushed through every single pore, hairs along her body thickened and her face contorted as a snort began to elongate her nose and mouth. Her canines grew in width and length, extending far past her lower jaw and even cutting into the not yet fully formed bottom. Her lungs heaved like a train picking up speed, each new breath coming in faster than the last. Bones elongated, and claws grew from her fingernails, digging deeply into her palms as she clenched her fist. Soon, a large bipedal wolf stood before them, still in the same sweatpants and breathing heavily, her whole body still quivering from the extent of the change. Thankfully, her transformation stopped there. She didn’t have to drop to all fours to continue it. She was still sane, if not a little feral. Her crystal blue eyes locked on the blood that lingered on the vampire’s jaw and then to it on the floor.

She took a predatory step towards the vampire, her eyes flashing to the fox for only a moment before she locked those crystal blue eyes on the leech once more. Iris wasn’t one to go along with the old trope of vampire and werewolf hate but this one had literally just been sucking the blood of a resident just a moment ago. Leech was a perfect description for this rule breaking, blood sucker. “You know what I think about people like you?” She asked as she took another step, her claws clicking loudly on the floor of the stairwell. “People who think they’re above others. Who think they can use others for their own purposes?” She grinned viciously, her fangs flashing violently under the fluorescent lights, her muscles tightening as she slowly lowered her stance down. “I think they need to be cut down to size.” And with that, she launched herself at the vampire, claws out to grab at her. Her strength and leg length made her move incredibly fast. Before one could blink, Iris was upon the vampire, her claws primed to swipe and mouth open in a wild smile.

If human Iris was in control at this moment, there might have been a thought or two of how this was a bad idea and she would probably get into just as much trouble as the vampire for attacking her but human Iris was pretty much gone at that moment. She was getting small tidbits of what was happening but it was like she was in a pitch black room with a strobe like set on the slowest strobe it had. She was only getting screenshots of the world around her from time and time and the feral wolf, who now had full control of the body, thought this was the greatest and most fun idea she had ever had. Here she was, with a reason to actually test out the strengths of one of the stronger residents in the complex. Sure, her intentions were noble to begin with but at this point, those intentions were lost with the rush of adrenaline and the need for the fight. If it wasn’t obvious by the laughing growls and barks she let out while attacking, she was having the time of her life.

All she wanted to do was get something to eat and having a transformation on an empty stomach like this, oh she was going to pay for it later. She’s going to have to eat a whole cow to make up for the protein loss she just experienced. She was going to have to sleep for a dang week after all this is said and done. She just wanted a steak!

Oh, no, I can read and understand simple japanese when it's written in the roman alphabet. But I appreciate it nontheless. :)

... Now for stares of death...

EDIT:

Yes, we're still in Building 1, though some folks are at the front desk, whereas Miyuki and Velvet are at the stairwell, with Velvet trying to flee the scene of the crime...

Gotcha, gotcha!
Ohhhh, quick question! I wish I could pause the whole rp so I could step in xD. Iris inbound!

Yall still in building 1 right?
I'd volunteer for Khalid to talk to Ryu, but she went to the building 1 restaurant, while he remained in building 3, so maybe another time.

Poor therapist needs to give ish his cards and get to building one where all the action is xD
I'm just saying, yall are all great rpers! I'm loving all these responses!

Honey brown eyes slowly fluttered open and Iris Madril let out a low groan. It took a moment for her exhausted brain to register where she was and what was happening. She inhaled deeply, her whole body throbbing in pain as it did after a night of transformation fun during the nights of the full moon. That's right. Last night was a full moon. She remembered where she was now,

She pulled her outstretched arms towards herself, feeling a painful pull then something clicking into place with a loud pop. A dislocated shoulder. How the hell did that happen? She only pondered the question for a moment before moving on. That was a question to be answered by the video footage of the room from the night before. Cameras were placed in this room for a reason, Iris only being one of many.

She slowly pulled herself into a fetal position, clenching and tightening all her muscles before she stretched herself out completely, sprawling out on the ground on her back. She laid there for a long while, not really thinking of anything in particular. Judging by just how exhausted her body was and how foggy her brain seemed, she guessed she had maybe an hour of sleep last night, if that. She groaned again as she slowly pulled herself up into a seated position to finally look around at the damage. It was surprisingly calm-ish looking in the tranquility room. There were only a few broken pieces of furniture and it looked like the walls survived far better than normal. It seemed like her little experiment worked, at least to a degree. She would have to go back on the video to see just how well it really did work but the room wasn't littered with mounds of broken items and furniture and she could probably, actually come back to this specific tranquility room next month. It was progress. Sweet, sweet progress. Until she saw the state of her phone.

Iris leaned forward and slapped her hand down angrily on what was left of her phone. It was in pieces! The screen was shattered, the battery was removed and thrown, god knows where. There were chunks ripped off it and were those bite marks? Did the wolf really take a BITE of her phone? She groaned as she threw it across the room into a heap of what she assumed was once a couch. You would think a couch wouldn't be a good item to keep a werewolf busy but it had a lot of parts to it that could be shredded, chewed on, clawed up, sometimes even peed on. That night was not a great night for her, she'll be honest.

She slowly stood before she stalked her way to the protected lockers off in the corner of the room. She snapped it open, anger still burning in her chest. She has to get a new phone now but with what money? How the hell is she going to afford another stupid 1k phone? Did she still have insurance on her phone? It's been a few months since she filed a claim. She might be able to get away with claiming it was stolen. She groaned quietly as she dragged her hand along her face with a long stroke of exasperation. Being a werewolf sucked but she knew this might happen when she decided to try out the experiment. She had just foolishly gotten her hopes up when she saw the less than usual damage. Who knew that streaming kid's youtube videos for the wolf would keep it occupied, at least for a time. Obviously, at some point, the wolf had enough of the videos and returned to its usual routine of havoc.

Her goal was to one day tame the wolf enough that she could keep from having to lock herself up on the full moons. That would be great.

Iris pulled out the spare sweatpants from within the locker and quickly got dressed. Her stomach rumbled loudly and she grumbled to it in response. “Yeah, yeah. I guess we'll go see what the cafe has food wise.” Iris had quite literally broken the first tranquility room in her normal building by heading off to transform on the full moon pissed off. The wolf apparently picked up on that rage then considered it a challenge. By the time the night was through, every inch of that room was in shambles and they had instructed her that they would need a month or two to repair the room. They were just lucky the door held, barely. Like by one single steel hinge that was praying to god to be spared the pain and misery of its fallen brothers anguish, barely. Thus she came up with this, in hindsight, really stupid plan. She could have put the phone somewhere the wolf couldn't reach or something. Maybe found a way to let it watch the videos without actually having a chance to actively get in contact with it. Eh, hindsight is 20/20.

As Iris walked out of the tranquility room, she could hear the sound of the meat delivery truck leaving the area and she pondered if she could find Max off somewhere on the property. She was due for her delivery but she wasn’t going to get it until after he did his rounds in building one. Being in building two meant a bit of a wait, which was always such a pain when it came to full moon nights. People had asked her why she didn’t live in building one with the human looking tenants and the answer was simple. When she was given her room at 13, she was more wolf than girl. She spent more time as a wolf than she did as a human and thus got a room in the less than human looking building. Now that she was older and had better control and rarely changed into her wolf form, she just stuck with the room and building she knew.

Iris gave her achy body another stretch, dragging her tongue along dry teeth before she rubbed lightly at her temples. Her head felt like a small construction worker was redoing the street in her brain with a vengeance and last but not least, her stomach rumbled at her like it was a beast of its own sounding its distaste at being left empty. She gave in and slid her hands into her pockets, hunched her shoulders and headed towards building one. A good raw steak would make a large part of this discomfort go away.
@Foster You rang?

Anyways! Question for the great gm! I'm almost done my post but I gotta ask, @Dragonydas. Is there a tranquility room per building? Cause at the rate I'm going, Iris is going through them like candy lol. If there is only one, then I'm gonna have to fix my post up a bit.

Thankfully we're not playing entire nations nor are we dealing with such massive chaos. I do remember, back in the day, having, like, sub forums dedicated to an RP.

I actually ran quite a few of these! It was quite fun back then but man was it a lot of work just for a hobby I enjoyed lol
<Snipped quote by Lemons>

With this many people and possible scenes, I'd say waiting for rounds within your own scene is perfectly acceptable. I just wouldn't be conscientious of not letting one scene go with 60-70 replies overnight while the others are paused, lol.

I feel this is de way.
Maybe they can help Iris get over her hatred for Werewolves. Would be a good laugh when she changes from the stress and just turns into the wolf taking over and complaining about her and how she's just so judgmental and unaccepting. A downright speciest.

“What the fu-, it was a full moon last night and the beast cut off ALL THE SLEEVES ON MY T-SHIRTS!”

You gotta show off them arms man! You lift that meat every day dude! Show off your gains!

Omg the beast just turned into a gym bro and I'm legit considering it.
