Bio

It's me, that dood, Citrus Arms. I'm 33, I sometimes work on a book a little bit, and I play a lot of games. I like me some MechWarrior or the X-Frontier series, but I also adore some good magic-fantasy. I grew up with Final Fantasy VI's magitech world, and worlds like Chrono Trigger, Zelda, and Star Fox. Lots of Nintendo, but some other stuff, too.

I like sci-fi and fantasy and space and combinations thereof, mostly. I have a setting take takes place after a galactic apocalypse, in a galaxy of recovering empires and new interstellar nations rising from the ashes, all while machinations from the apocalypse cause a rise in magic.

"An expedition? I've been away for a little bit, myself. I'm not really sure what the guild's up to, which is why I wanted to talk to her, but... Though, I think I heard her mention that same word. Well, let's butt into a conversation, shall we?" Trinity pushed off the pillar she'd been leaning against and approached the small group by the door.

She waited for the slightest lull in conversation, "pardon the interruption, but we have a guest who has traveled here in search of, I'm guessing, your expedition, Sasha? Something about dragons...?" She grimaced a bit a the thought of such an ancient beast. Weren't they supposed to be notoriously vicious, and carnivorous, too?

With all the voices around them, it really didn't surprise her when no one heard her. Eh, she'll just keep playing. It was her form of patience. She could wait for the world to end, like this... oh, now there's a song idea. She was just about to start piddling around with some other instruments to find the right sound when someone addressed her.

It surprised her, just a bit. It wasn't anyone she recognized, either. "Ah, hello." She smiled sweetly. "Are you in the guild? I haven't seen you before. I'm Trinity. I've been away for a little bit myself, playing music for folks. Did you need something?" She didn't stop playing, though her tune changed just a bit.

@Caits
@caits Trinity isn't listed, should be in Phoenix Wing. Ryan Kregor, Vanilla Lane, and, uh... Uuuuh... That last guy's name... I'll have to look at it later, I'm on my break at work... Are all in nightshade.
Well, somehow she expected this. Things always were busy around these people, weren't they? Her fingers continued their gentle dancing across the strings of her harp. She'd been away for a bit, and she just wanted to catch up with someone, but it didn't seem like that would be happening.

A flaring temper caught get ear, and she couldn't help herself, "you know, threats of violence aren't really the best way to resolve personal conflicts. Tends to escalate things, really." Aah, but wasn't Lazarus always so protective?
After a while, Trinity stopped playing. Somewhat disappointed, but she hadn't really expected anything in the first place. Oh well. She changed her tune to something a little more subdued and wandered her way back inside. She'd taken a small break, perhaps she could continue her meditation? She leaned herself up behind a support post, strumming her harp.

Her venture outside reminded her of a treasure chest sure found in the mountains of Seven. She'd opened it only to find a note.

It had been quite the adventure, too. She'd stopped in on a castle built into the side of the mountain. Turned out it was abandoned, but well trapped. One trap evaded left her stranded on the far side, so she bumbled her way through more traps, and eventually found a prize. There was a treasure chest!

The note read, " Sorry, nothing. " At least she'd found a way out, as well.

She found herself singing a song about it. She'd make a proper bard, yet...
The minstrel had wandered her way out the front door. It seemed like it was quite busy in the hall, so she might come back in a few moments. Taking a seat on their front porch, she leaned back against the building and... heard singing? It stopped before long, which she thought was unfortunate. Good music was so hard to come by. With a quick production of a harp, the young lady began to play, wondering if the nearby vocalist would hear her? She tried to mimic what she'd heard, to encourage whoever'd been singing.

After a hardy breakfast, Trinity had gotten herself out to the yard for a little meditation. She'd been having trouble reproducing... many of the things she'd done during the Magic Games. She was missing... something. A lack of practice, perhaps, had made her rusty. Seemed as likely as anything else.

As she sat in the sun, she recalled her basics. Energy Make was made of energy zones, balanced against each other. Without balance, the Make would fall apart. Each zone had a direction and an amount of force, so in a sense, each Make was multiple small Makes in one. The sword, for example, was four zones. The cutting edges, and the flats, each group opposed to itself. She would have to practice making a three-zone balance somehow.

However, if done properly, unbalance could be maintained. In this way, she could move the Makes in their own, without having to grasp them. She had to anticipate the movements. This was because... ah... Umm...

"Ah, I don't remember." She flopped onto her back, putting a hand on her gut "Hmm... Back inside." The pit in her stomach demanded attention, and she just wasn't able to ignore it.

"Mn, getting up is hard when you're hungry..." She took a breath, sat back up, and let it out slowly, before rolling herself onto one knee and pushing up off of the other with a grunt, to her feet.

Once she dragged her feet all the way inside, she grabbed a skillet after rifling through the cupboards and went about making herself something to eat.

Food and cleanup later, she stepped out into the hall with more food in her hand, and quickly spotted the group at the door. A leisurely stride brought her to the gathering as she wondered what was going on.
Aight. I think I can handle that.

When I type in breakfast, my phone suggests breakfaaaaaaast?

With the grace of ham hands, she returns.
Anything I should know as I try to wriggle my way back into things?
Hey guys. I'm back. Again. I've figured out why I've been so any about coming back. I'm not a great writer. Sure, I can put words together in a sentence pretty well, but that doesn't make me good at narrative. I can't write a good plot for shit, mostly because of poor pacing and ego. So I've been nervous to come back because I don't want to step on any toes with my bullheaded writing.

However, giving in to such fear would mean I never get any better. So, I hope you haven't forgotten about me, cause here I am!
