Background: Hilda lived a simple farm life, caring for some small amount of chickens and working the land to raise crops. It wasn't a complicated existence, which suited her fine, but she always did love to see the festivals.

It was rather sudden. One day, her farm came under assault, as did so many others. The farmer she worked for had been a loyalist. She doesn't have a mind for politics, but she knew something was wrong. The monsters had come from direction of the castle, after all. Hilda made her escape before she could be forced to work for the dark forces that had captured the farmstead, making her way toward the castle to find answers.

She found destruction. The square was a death trap she almost got caught in. She managed to find herself a sword and get out, and as she did, she saw Hyrule Castle Town was lost. What was she to do..? No work, no farm... Even Lon Lon Ranch had fallen. Kakariko was safe... For now. For how much longer?

And a brain can probably be made from plant cells. Fantasy setting, my dude. Not everything is going to look just like it does in our world.

How are they like an animal? Sure, they move around and have eyes, but I think we can safely assume that's just part of the fantasy setting. They're no more animal than an ent.

This seems like a dense topic, so I'll put out my understand of it, as it is now.

We're familiar with pollination, yes? Once that occurs, the flower goes from being a flower to being fruit, which contains the seeds. In the case is a deku sprout, I believe the fruit would be the deku nut. The purpose of a fruit is sometimes to get animals to eat it, so that the seeds will be carried elsewhere by the animal and, er, deposited later.

I'll have to look up how to be a plant.

It's a little different with plants, I think. Seeds only sprout when planted, and only prosper with the right conditions, so for various reasons, a parent might take to sell their seeds to spread their offspring to new places where overcrowding might be less of an issue. Things like that.

And it only takes one to start a quest.

I mean, yeah dude. Character progression and growth. If ya ask me, that's a core concept to RP.

Or he could have interaction with the happy mask salesman.
