Current Just finished the last three episodes of Arcane. It was a good finale, but I think I'll need to sleep on it to really figure out how I feel about it

The cliffhanger in that last episode of Arcane was dirty. How can the writers sleep at night, making me wait another week?

I'm being abused by my sister's dog because she thinks it's dinnertime. It, in fact, is not dinnertime

As the jet sped off toward the scene, Vincent sat in his seat, flipping a coin between his fingers. He had been in his fair share of scrapes before, so he wasn't a stranger to combat. He knew, though, that this particular situation required a more...delicate touch. As much as he wanted to, he knew he couldn't rush in. From the sound of it, there were too many targets, spread too far, and they had hostages. He didn't want to be the reason an innocent got hurt, or worse, so as much as he didn't like it, he was going take it slow and follow Meta's orders.

He stood looking over the edge of the building at the cops below when he heard Meta tell him what to do. "Sure thing, boss," Vincent said with a salute. The steel casing of his implant rippled and unfurled into a pair of large, gleaming steel wings. The glinting metal then darkened as a thin shell of carbon formed, dulling the metal to make it harder for Vincent to be spotted from within the building. He pulled out a pair of goggles from his pocket and slipped them over his eyes, then leapt off of the ledge of the building. He unfurled his wings, let the wind catch him, and was soon circling the 40 story building. "Looks like the police have the main entrance and side door to the east covered, so I don't think the bad guys are going anywhere," he informed his team.

He carefully scanned the sides of the building, slowly descending as he did. As he had suspected, there wasn't much he could see, but something did catch his attention. "Hey, guys, think I got something," he spoke into his earpiece. "I'm not seeing anything towards the top of the building, but I think I've got something farther down. The blinds are drawn on the north end of the 5th and 6th floor, west and south sides of the 4th, east and west of the 3rd, and the entire ground floor. My guess, that's where most of the baddies are, but there might be a few up higher, so watch out. If you guys need me, I'll stick around out here. Say the word and I'll crash through a window."
I'll get a CS put together after work tomorrow. I would've gotten it done tonight, but I made the mistake of watching One Piece and now it's 2 AM =.=
I'll get right to work on it!
Well, crap, did I come across this too late? Lol
Hey, sorry for disappearing, had a dental procedure done yesterday. Could I ask for a quick rundown of where everyone is and I'll have Vincent go bother someone?
I hope so. Only reason I haven't posted is because I'm waiting for @Angstyrainbow to respond to Vincent. If they don't in the next day or two, I'll throw up a post to help things move along
I remember having to do that before I got my laptop. That sucks =\

Vincent thought about Eli's suggestion for a moment. While it was true that their little band had grown some and an RV would be more comfortable, Vincent found the idea of abandoning the truck brought a sour taste to his mouth. With how long he had had it and all the work he put into it, it didn't feel right leaving it behind. Then again, if they could find an RV with a decent kitchenette... "Let's go ahead and shelve that idea for now," he said. His tattoos flashed for a brief moment as he used his power to unlatch the hood 'remotely'. "We don't wanna draw any attention to ourselves by stealing one if we aren't even ready to leave, right?"

He lifted the hood and took a look inside. At first glance, it didn't seem that anything was wrong and he cursed quietly. "I'm gonna have to go deeper," he muttered as he walked back toward the cab and opened the door. He pulled a small toolbox out from under the driver's seat, filled with whatever he couldn't use his powers to make, and returned to the front of the truck. As he waited for the engine to cool, he unhooked the battery and continued looking over what he could see, just in case he had missed something. "Oh, Eli, mind sticking around for a bit? That gooey stuff of yours makes pretty good lubricant and I see a few spots that could use a touch-up."

Vincent pulled the old truck into the parking lot of a run-down hotel. He had no trouble staying at a dilapidated place like this, having often slept on the street without a roof over his head. As far as he was concerned, any place with a bed was heaven. He shut the engine off and said, "Alright, guys, we're here. Unless anyone has any better ideas, this is where we're staying while we're here, so don't forget where we're at."

He climbed out of the truck and stretched his arms over his head. He didn't mind long drives, but he didn't quite care for the stiffness that came with them. He took in the sweet scents wafting through the evening air, the sounds of joyful screaming from the amusement park as patrons enjoyed the thrill rides. As much as he wanted to check out the park, he let out a sigh and turned toward the truck. "If you guys wanna check out the park, I'll catch up with you in a bit. I noticed the truck was making a weird sound when we got into town, so I'm gonna see if I can't get it fixed while I've got the chance."
I'll get a post up later tonight!
