BIONICLE: Tales of Kongero Nui

Life happens.

Now, shall we talk a little about how this da is going to go down? I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page going into the big events of the festival.

@Little Mx Inferno, shall we say that Velhni and Suavo had a great time riding around last night, so they made plans to meet up at the festival today, maybe after one of his performances? That would give us a nice IC reason to start gathering characters.

Vhis has some kind of official duties I guess, so..?

As for the rest, I don't see anything that has been set up for them yet, so we'll need to orchestrate something to bring them together as a group, especially as they don't know each other well.

Thoughts, discussion, plans?

Okay, this has gone quiet for too long. Time to inject a bit of action.

Tobiax, you mentioned hopping forward to the next day pretty soon, but how about we do that now? Hura and Kumanu are just a couple lines away from going their separate ways for the night, Vhis and Tyro aren't interacting at all, and while Velhni and Suavo are kind of in the middle of things, not much would be lost just by posting a wrap-up or flashback of them taking a trip to Vo-Congro and having fun like only a pair of risk-taking adrenaline junkies can. We could play it out, but it would mean that everyone else would have nothing else to do the whole time.

Jumping forward to the first morning of the festival now would give a bit more impetus to the story, allow for all of the characters to interact and move into the main plot easily. I think we've done what we need to reach that point: introduced the characters and their daily lives, and had them start to meet up and create bonds.

I understand that sometimes things get slow in and RP, and that this is a busy time of year for many people, but when it has been more than two weeks without an IC, I worry that, the game is inching towards death. Even with the best of intentions, sometimes games just fade out, and the longer it goes without a post, the easier it gets for that to happen.

So, what do you think? There are details to be worked out of course, but the game definitely needs a kick right now, and I think this one would work best.

As the Parrs left the room, Rebekah had to admit to being a little nervous. Of course, being entrusted with the safety and wellbeing of a child was always a serious responsibility, but when that child was the youngest in a family of supers, no, the family of supers, celebrated the whole world over and renowned for their deeds, power and experience? Rebekah had no doubt that any one of them could kick her butt to kingdom come and back with only minimal effort, should they ever want to. Clearly, this job was one to be taken very, very seriously.

Then there was the child himself. While he looked very cute and innocent is his (near indestructible) red onesie. In many ways, he was a four year old child like any other: cheerful, inquisitive, with simple likes and dislikes. The important point, Rebekah thought, wasn't that he could already lift his father's weight, but that he didn't really want to. He would be perfectly happy with eating some food, playing some games and going to sleep. Rebekah could get behind those goals. This wasn't a fight: they could work together.

Determined to make friends early and start the evening off on the right foot, Rebekah leaned down to be face-to-face with the preschooler. "Okay, Jack-Jack, while Mummy and Daddy go and have their special dinner, we're going to have ours as well," she told him. "I'm going to go and get that ready. I hear you really like fish fingers, is that right?

Do you mean when do we (the RPers) start or what is the timeframe for the characters?

The first post says that the new supers' first patrol will be tomorrow (in world), so I'm guessing they've at least begun their training with Frozone. Perhaps they've been living together for a week or so? That's long enough that we don't have to RP the introductions and get on with babysitting, but not have the characters too familiar with each other, and able to grow quickly in their relationships.

If you mean homosexual, the yes, there were elements of that.
