Where the hell is @Renny? I can't progress any further without him.
@Double I'm interested! What fairy tales are you thinking of?

Basically all of them. Also you may want to use the link and ask further questions in that thread so I'm not split between multiple conversations... <_<
I’m intrigued, to the point where I’m imagining the different characters I could use. Is this supposed to be a modern esque universe, or more medieval style, or even 1920s era?

Definitely not modern, or even 1920's. But probably not quite as far back as medieval either. I may end up being deliberately vague about that so as to fit as many characters and tales without it being too much of a stretch. For instance, Peter Pan largely takes place in a semi modern London before it shifts to Neverland. I'll probably incorporate Neverland as it's timeless enough to fit in any setting but largely not use or even mention the London stuff, like implying that Pan can just traverse planes or something whenever he goes out and befriends kids. I will say that for Ravenport specifically it's going to largely be Victorian-inspired for reasons that will become apparent when I introduce the first major antagonist. Other locales can and probably are going to be inspired by other types of eras or settings depending on which Fairy Tales are specifically inhabiting those areas.
No other interested parties? I reposted this interest check in the Casual and Advanced section hoping that'll drum up more interest. If not, well, that would be a shame.
Once upon a time...
A story was told, followed by others.
Each was like a thread that wove together into a single world.
At times, a tale would be retold, each time slightly different from the last.
But how many times can a tale be retold...
...before it becomes twisted?

@Weird Tales It had anthro animals as a normal thing. People still freaked the fuck out over Piccolo because even by their standards he was scary as fuck. People still freaked out over Cell for the same reasons. Animal people may be a normal thing but freaky alien genotypes like Colda or demon kings like Gor are still going to be seen as something weird and totally not normal. Hell if the King Piccolo stuff still happened they should be doubly afraid of a demon like Gor.
You know, I keep trying to make Momo's chatacter arc about people constantly being afraid of him because he looks like a monster... and then the self-proclaimed demon king buys groceries and not a single eye is batted. Why did I even bother trying to go this route?
@Reflection I did say that Momo launched himself up higher before charging the attack. That would put Taeto below him and why he's aiming the beam downwards.
@Reflection Quick aside, Momo's Kamehameha isn't blue, it's mostly pink because it's his imitation of a Kamehameha rather than the real thing. And he's kind of aiming it straight down... <_<
