It took me 10 years to finally fill one of these out, but I finally did it. Welcome, stranger.
I'm Drache. I'm a millenial leftist living in the US deep south. I'm a queer polyamorous kinkster. You can find me at PRIDE, at Ren Fair, at the local farmer's market, and the monthly dark party. During the day I'm an emergency animal medical professional with 20 years in the field. On my off time I'm a dog show enthusiast, a karaoke singer, a baker, and a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator. I'm a collector of rare houseplants, of rescued exotic birds, of books, of tattoos. I'm the most feral spouse with the most domestic skills. I'm perpetually exhausted but endlessly impulsive.

So, after doing a lot of reading I still haven't been able to pick a place where my character is from. I could use some help from someone who is more familiar with the setting. I am looking to have had my character involved in war at some point in the last hundred years or so, and having a history of living in a volcanic area. The most recent Forgotten Realms books I read had a lot of adventure on the Sword Coast which sound like the chaotic sort of atmosphere that suits my character but I'm just a little...stuck. XD

@DracheYour character right now looks decent. Would you like to make up your own entry to the story, or shall we construe something together? You are a dragon after all.
Speaking of which, do you intend on having shapeshifting capabilities?
She's a half-dragon actually, which doesn't typically come with shapeshifting capabilities. We could look at polymorph spells or items, but I rather like the idea of her being unable to conceal her nature without a lot of work. When I usually play this character her story is that she came from a city that was utterly destroyed by a villain and she has become a bit of a wanderer. Her draconic father is dead, but his lair/hoard was never discovered, so she is looking for that in her travels, but otherwise is a bit of a collector of artifacts and rare scrolls/tomes. It's been a while since I read Forgotten Realms so if you want to help me pick locations where she might be from then that would be useful.
Added a few new plot ideas.
