Name: Kaitlyn Finch Age: 19 Profession: None, for now. Top 2 personality traits: A normally hotblooded and adventurous soul, who claims not to fear anything. Biggest Fear: Fear of Fire Three items you have with you (Other than clothing-either profession based or related to your reason for being in Silent Hill): Uncle Tony's Letter, a lumberjack axe, and some trail mix Bonds: Uncle Tony(Kaitlyn's uncle who, despite grieving his wife's death, always put on a brave face for Kaitlyn and encouraged her to keep trying, no matter what); Abigail and Tony Finch(Dead.) Character Flaws (may be self-percieved): Reckless, Cocky, and Short Tempered. Deeply loyal to her uncle, and would be absolutely devastated if something happened to him. How and why did your character get to Silent Hill: One evening, Kaitlyn came into her and Uncle Tony's home after a long day of chopping wood, and her uncle was nowhere to be found. All she could find was a letter, telling Kaitlyn that he was going over to Silent Hill in order to find his wife. Many alarms bells rang in Kaitlyn's head when she read this, and an hour later, she ran into Silent Hill herself in order to find Uncle Tony, not knowing the horrors that lied within the ghost town. Bio: Kaitlyn used to live a normal childhood with her parents, and would've continued living a normal childhood if a fire hadn't burned her house down and killed both of her parents. The cause of the fire was unknown, and little Kaitlyn thankfully got out alive, but the fire had also deeply scarred her both physically and emotionally, and Kaitlyn was never the same after that.
It was Uncle Tony who took her in, and, after driving Kaitlyn to his lakeside home that was somewhat close to Silent Hill, Uncle Tony started teaching his niece all about living out in the wilderness, first aid, and generally survival. The two of them grew very close, but the loss of his wife still took its toll on Uncle Tony regardless, and sometimes, he sat on his patio and stared in the direction of Silent Hill, seeming to be contemplating something...
Physical description (Can be a picture if you wish): Blond hair, blue eyes, and a tall and muscular stature. Kaitlyn is still shorter than older adults, but is still taller than other 19 year olds. Usually wears corduroy and plaid, and jeans and boots. Has mostly healed burn scars over her arms and face. Insanity Score (leave blank until you start gaining insanity points in game):
Sorry for the wait(if you're here from the interest check), I just got busy with IRL stuff.
Hopefully, this'll get off the ground despite me dropping the ball on that. :')
Anyway, let's get to it, shall we? :D))
SUMMARY
This is a role play about cute, fluffy stuffed animals.
During the day when all's right with the world, they're just stuffed animals, lying around doing nothing as you'd expect.
But at night…
The world becomes a nightmarish hell-realm, and the plushies battle horrific demons and monsters that seek to devour the children whom the bears have sworn to protect.
They fight them in the closet, they fight them under the bed, maybe they even fight them in the kids' own subconscious.
Either way, the bears are the kids' only defense from these creatures, even though none of them know it.
But all is not what it seems.
Recently, the demons and monsters have been setting up summoning circles, and for some reason, have gotten more and more desperate to capture the kids.
Could it be possible that, not only do the plushies have to face the regular monsters and demons they fight, but also their leader, unless they can stop The King of Nightmares' lackeys before it's too late?
MORE INFORMATION
Demons and monsters ravaged the land a long time ago. Man, woman, child, and everyone in between; no one was safe.
In response, a high ranking wizard embued clay dolls with life, powers, and little clay weapons. He created them in order to help him take on the lower ranking demons and monsters, while he took on their king himself- The King of Nightmares.
It was a long and hard battle, and yet, at the end, the wizard and the little clay dolls emerged victorious, with the wizard sealing The King of Nightmares into the earth's core, causing the demons and monsters to scatter to the wind and be severely weakened.
THe wizard and the dolls disappeared soon after that, and eventually, as the centuries went on, they were forgotten. The wizard was immortal, however, and over time, improved on and tweaked the clay dolls' powers and designs until he made the first plushie. He then sold them to a toy shop owner in hopes of having the plushies be given to children, who the demons and monsters were now targeting, and the rest is history.
Follow this website's rules. No OP or perfect characters. No defeating demons and monsters in one hit, unless they're like, Type 1s. No godmodding. Be respectful to each other OOC, and try to keep out of OOC drama. I'm not your babysitter. Please try to drop a post once a week, and alert me in the OOC or in PMs if you can't. Have fun! <3 - Demons and monsters are split into five types, depending how much of a threat they are: Type 1(equivalent of normal mooks), Type 2(equivalent of elite mooks), Type 3(equivalent of minibosses), Type 4(equivalent of bosses), and Type 5(The King of Nightmares. Just The King of Nightmares.).
Each stuffed animal has an elemental power, and a weapon that's a common household item. The toys can empower their items with their powers, transforming them in the process, and use them that way.
