Hobgoblin Zats

Zats took his own of the berries he had collected and headed out the church. When he got to what looked like a good spot he used his rabbit horn to dig several small holes in the ground and planted his loot. After covering the holes back up he considered looking for one of those swords. He quickly decided to stick with his spear since he was pretty good with it.

So Zats left the church-grounds in order to look for a good decent sized stick, he looked both on the forest floor and in the trees since he didn't want to waste too much time on this task. After about five minutes he came across a tree with several branches that seemed like they would make decent sticks. After thinking it over for a bit he decided he might as well go for them all since young could probably use some weapon.

He set his shield at the base of the tree and started climbing. It took him some effort but eventually he made it and began breaking of the branches he thought would make good spears.

Five minutes later Zats was back on solid ground and had four mostly straight sticks of varying lengths, which he thought was a decent amount. Back at the church he dropped three of them on the ground. Since he unfortunately ha no way to combine his rabbit horn and stick into a spear that would have to wait. Instead he headed for the few books still in the church to try and learn to read them.

I don't use imperial so I might just be converting something wrong here but wouldn't 4 ft arms be freakishly long on a child?

According to google 4feet is 122 cm, both arms of an adult together have a total wingspan roughly equal to their bodyheight so yeah those are some freakishly long arms
Hobgoblin Zats

Zats was relieved this would be the last they had to get food for their younger siblings as well as themselves, not that he begrudged them for it after all he was once in their position. Still it would be nice to have more time to spend on his interests than on gathering as much food as he could.

It was a shame that his spear broke while fighting a Horned Rabbit earlier but he was sure that with his shield and instant armor he should be fine. He broke the horn form his prey and used it to skin the meat, using the fur as a makeshift loincloth before eating his fill of the animal.

Knowing that if he dragged the rabbit home like this dirt and such would make it inedible Zats buried the remains of the meat and looked for some other food to give to the little ones.

After a few minutes he came across a bush growing berries and plucked a handful, figuring they would be good enough since the other Hobgoblins would no doubt bring back bigger bounties and they could plant the seeds to make things easier in the future. With that in mind he headed back to the tribe's new home.

Once he was back in the church he showed his loot to Grandpa Goblin to see if they were edible or if he would feel obligated to waste more time hunting.

@SilverPaw about 4 feet long about the size of a child's arm and yes anyone can break of a rabbits horn with enough strength and effort

Wow, that is a lot longer than I thought.
@Jangel13 wait do we keep our skills from the last edition, or are the other vets tryna pull a fast one here?

Second post of the page
This time around the gm is going to join in as a goblin as well, the veterans will start of as hobgoblins with a single legacy item and their skills up till that point me and everyone else will start off with a clean slate
Irt decided to stay relatively close to the shore as he looked for something to eat, he had no intention of becoming food for a big fish after all. Not having any experience with catching fish this way he had no luck as his wild movements scared off his prey before he could get it. Moving along the shore he got closer and closer to the lizardfolk territory without realizing and eventually when he was about to give up smelled dead fish.

Following his nose Irt found some plants with fishguts buried underneath them, most of them were too rotten to eat going by the stench but there might be some fresh ones. He debated if she dig the fish up slowly and leave the plants mostly undisturbed or go fast and no doubt harm or even uproot the plants. Both ways had their downside but since he didn't expect to come back he went for the faster one and got ready to start digging.

@ReusableSword @Kazemitsu@Dark Cloud
@Duthguy

Don't want to at least keep the shield?

If that is an option sure
First time I've ever just straight up reused a character, usually I change at least some of the basics but since my intended agnostic semi-loner magic user ended up being the bodyguard of his high-priest gf with a shield given to him by a Goddess thanks to completely logical story events I am giving him another shot.

Name : Zats

Gender : Male

Appearance: Zat's skin is a deep dark green and one of lower canines is damaged, leaving it shorter and blunt.

Personality: Zats isn't the most confident goblin in existence but he wil still try his best to be useful and help his tribe out. While not a genius by human standards he is a bit smarter than the average goblin, especially when it comes to quick thinking. Due to his confidence issues he doesn't often say something if he disagrees with one of the other goblins, unless someone else also shows doubts about the plan/idea or he feels it's really important.

Past Life History : In a different world Zats was a somewhat geeky kid with an interest in stage magic and had learned some simple tricks when he died along with his father in a car accident.

Skill : Magic potential: Zats has great potential to learn magic.

Other (anything you think should be put up):
