Ciara scoffed, immediately thinking of Gulliver and Valen. "I'd love to wipe the smirk off their faces."
"It starts by building a rumor. A rumor of power. This could be the place to start."
She took a deep breath, narrowing her eyes resolutely at the Undermage. "Head Advisor, with all due respect, you have no right to ask me about my intentions. If you want answers..."
She stood from her seat, rising to her full height.
Her breath caught when she felt the cold metal of a pistol against her temple.
"Put the heart down, and back the hell up if you want your friend to live," the guard said to Ellie in a rumbling baritone, digging the gun into Dream's head.
Dream squinted at Ellie, vision blurred as she tried to breathe. The heart, glinting in Ellie's hands.
The doctor, his face turning white every time she asked what would happen if they failed. Above all else, he said, they had to keep the heart safe. They had to, even if it meant...
She snarled, her boot stamping down on the guard's foot, a burst of light bruising the bone. He yelped, losing his grip. That's all she needed, and she tore away. But in her haste, she saw his free arm reaching for her, and she slipped on panicked feet as he pushed her off the railing.
She held back a scream, staring straight down into the boiling pit below. The guard wrapped a tight hand around her ankle, and Ellie could see Dream's other foot flailing; she restrained herself poorly from kicking the guard, desperately hoping she wouldn't die.
As her captor supported himself against the railing, his pistol pointed at Ellie.
Deep, golden orbs stared back at her from within the cave.
God, she couldn't breathe.
He was monstrous. The ground trembled under her feet as his rippling, massive body exited the cave. Thunderous footsteps left cracks in the dirt, his breath sent waves of heat creeping over her skin. The transformation was slow, but it looked like something from a nightmare with the way his long teeth were bared.
A great and terrible roar sounded from his gaping maw.

Hello in risk of sounding stupid again, I'm assuming the Pterodactyl-bot is the scientists and not Axen? And since Axen isn't specifically with Jay he's not appearing in the 'dream'?
Yes, you would be correct. It's their own bot. And yes, Axen isn't in the 'dream', but all he has to do is come down the hole and he'll see the events play out. :)

He succeeded in freeing the people from the clutches of the false king, but many of the false king's supporters fled, including Evelyn.
To protect his nation from any outside threats, he turned himself and the rest of them into spectral beings. Free of thirst, of hunger, and the pain of a blade. Essentially turned immortal, but unable to feel the warmth of life, the King and his people soon fell into cold apathy, much like the snowy regions of Ravenfell.
Now, the King's eyes have returned to Arrowfell, where he is aware a certain traitor to the Ravenfell throne is playing royalty in the Arrowfell courts…

Yes! My dapper French guy, Thierry, was in the room. Busted knee or not, bro will still occasionally move more than just paperwork from time to time. The person he was with, is the one who had the wings.
The wings were part of an old forgotten Egyptian-made prototype CDE weapon. The weapon was originally designed to combat the undead mummies. Flight, or at least hovering, was deemed necessary to stay out of the hoard's reach.
Whoever had it last, accidentally vaporized themselves, oops. And the other person with Thierry obviously was... gotcha. P:
Since all the other sites have returned to normal, Thierry felt the risk of dealing with pissed Cairo agents was worth it.

The Green-Tinted Seer is a pair of sunglasses imbued with the ability to discern and freeze magic. “Lancy” Zhu made this in anticipation of discerning artifacts in a safe manner that House of Cards would surely bring.
One only needs to wear the sunglasses and look at the artifact or object with magical imbuement. By looking, they will see the luxes infused in the object. They will also see lines of code that make up the intent of the object's magic. However, this code is often complex and can take hours to read and discern.
The object or artifact, when captured in the gaze of the sunglasses, with experience a chromatic ‘flash-freeze’, where time will stop on the object. This is a taxing process that drains the energy of the wearer. However, it allows the wearer to discern the object without the object's magic interfering.
The sunglasses are designed for artifacts and magical objects, and not adept or magical individuals. The emotional field repels almost all prying or freezing of the sunglasses.
The Mulier Vires is an artifact made by Faith Ringgold of the 317 specifically designed to subjugate Tralvo, the monster of the deep. Appearing like a normal gladius sword and sheath, it has carvings engraved down the center, a metal hilt, and sharp edges.
When a woman holds the Mulier Vires, Tralvo will obey their every command without question. If they want Tralvo to attack, Tralvo will attack. If they want Tralvo to sit and stay, Tralvo will do so. They only have to utter the command.
However, if a man holds the blade, Tralvo will go into a blind, murderous fury, and try to kill the man holding the blade. This will continue until the man is dead, or a woman holds the blade and called Tralvo off.
Tralvo was summoned through human sacrifice done by the 317 as a business deal. With payments settled, the 317 handed over the Mulier Vires, a gladiator-styled blade artifact that commands Tralvo, to the House of Cards.
Tralvo has an immense hatred for men, and refuses to be commanded by any man wielding the blade. Therefore, it's a rule that House of Cards follows that only women wield the Mulier Vires.
Tralvo eats what most monsters eat: red meat. However, she prefers her meat a few days decayed.
Tralvo possesses inhuman strength, able to smash through walls and buildings with her tentacles. The tentacles have thick skin, improving Tralvo’s durability. She can shrug off needle and dagger attacks, but will sustain damage from sword swings and elemental attacks.
